Rather than address the current and incredibly pressing issue of Galactics who wanted them dead just around the corner, Inigo knelt down by Alba, grabbing his shoulder firmly with one hand while he waved the other in front of the older man's face. "Hey Alba, you alright?" While he didn't know the extent of or the full reasoning behind his roommate's fear of guns, he at least of its existence and it was therefore a source of concern. Especially if it meant he was sitting on the floor of a hall that was about to become a war zone. Not exactly a good idea...

Sonata whickered gently at Tambrey as she touched the soft fur of her muzzle to the girl's cheek. At least her charge was alright, and minimally injured. Well, from the attacks, anyway. She couldn't take responsibility for whatever had happened to her before. The best place for her though, quite obviously, was as far from here as possible, so the Ponyta once again attempted to herd the grunt in the opposite direction, possibly wherever Star had run off to. They wouldn't get there anytime soon, however, but some progress was better than no progress.

Inigo suddenly became aware of the situation when he heard screams and orders and general panic - luckily the adrenaline surging through him numbed any desire to panic as well - and he pulled an extra pokeball from his belt that loosed a large Aggron. The pokemon, though large, looked around him with an air of uncertainty and a vague sense of dread. The teen was quick to divert his attention though, as he pointed for both Acier and Oriana. "Iron Head," he instructed the former, and to the latter, "Confusion, por favor."

While Acier didn't understand the strange words his new human spoke, he obeyed nonetheless and once he rounded the corner, he launched himself at the group of Galactics - and therefore the Volcarona - as the horns on his head began to glow white. The small Chimecho followed quickly but hovered near the corner instead before shooting a Confusion attack directly ahead of him, hoping to hit at least some of the scary humans.

His entire being seemed to be made up of pain, but with an effort it was possible to move. As the sounds of battle started to filter back through to him Aulus got to his knees and fumbled to release the rest of his pokemon to join in the fray; they'd have to manage on their own, he couldn't think well enough to command them.

Taking rapid shallow breaths, trying not to pass out, Aulus turned to his partner and croaked; "You... you alright?"

That bug had hurt Aulus! Char had shielded her from the worst of the flames just as their master had done for his friend, but at least Char had scales and was a fire type to begin with. she barked to her party, Without another word, or even a glance to see if they would listen, Tortie flung herself forward with a Bite attack.

Char - more measured than the Absol - ignored the flame bug in favour of turning his Flame Burst on the front line of Galactics and pokemon. he roared,

Red - torn between listening to one of the others and doing her own thing - threw a Sand Attack at the front rank of Galactics and their pokemon.

Paul gave a squeal of terror and ran to hide behind Char.

TRP winced as Satoshi's thunderbolt was absorbed by a Blitzle a moment before shockwave and scalding water attacks shot back at her pokémon. She climbed to her feet, looking back over her shoulder at her teammates. It wasn't a good scene, though a sharpedo's surf attack had helped combat some of the fire.

They had too many already-injured Rockets with them. Shawn, Aulus and Jerome had already taken severe secondary damage. Their goal was to save these people, not get them killed on the way out. Her eyes lingered on Jerome the longest. So much blood..

"Agent Frost!" TRP's voice carried over the battle, "Get the rescued group out of here! Find another way to our destination, we'll finish this and meet you there!" Tethys had clearly focused the attack here. Arceus willing, the path to the hangar would be clear for Frost and the others.

Meanwhile the front lines of Galactics and Galactic Pokémon took the wave of retaliatory attacks from the Rockets, only for the next line to return with thunderbolts, waterguns and fire spins. The hall was chaos.

Conrad eyed the ricocheting Starmie then crouched and used Trump Card on it with a growl, hopefully before it could hit anyone.

Zack yelped when the Volcarona flamed up with him still biting it and let go to shake his head. He panted for a second before his mouth lit up with his own flames and he used Fire Fang on it.

Ohhh goodness. Oh goodness. Things and stuff. Stuff and things. This was just an awful set of circumstances altogether. Arcadie, quivering like a leaf in the gale, crouched in the welcome shelter long enough to pull out her Rocket 'dex and review the capabilities of her pokemon. The water and fire things seemed the most dangerous at the moment, and so she sought out something that would combat those elements well. Her resources were painfully limited, though--

Oh, fantastic. Ghosty could use a rock-type move. If she cared to obey. Arcadie's other options, however, were more fire or a very toastable little spider, so she didn't really have any choice but to leave her part of the effort to Revenant. Hesitantly, she pulled a pokeball sealed with a little white ghost sticker into her hand and pressed the release. The resulting Mismagius shook herself briefly before leveling a critical gaze on the human. This gaze quickly diverted to other, more interesting subjects. This was a playing field that Revenant recognized. She looked back to the human, this time to await her orders rather than to judge her incompetence.

"Oh, um," Arcadie glanced at the display in her hand again, "Power Gem! On whatever it is that's on fire, the b*****d." With a sharp nod, Revenant moved to comply, turning the requested attack against the Volcarona and leaving the medic to react to the new orders. They were splitting up, it seemed. Was that wise? The elite seemed to think so, and who was she to question that?

Right then. "If you're injured follow me!" Frost called, stepping back around the corner to signal his position to the injured Rockets. One of them at least wouldn't be walking anywhere in a rush, and the rest wouldn't be in a state to help him. "Koios, get him over here," he said with a gesture to Jerome. Anyone else who couldn't walk... well Koios had a flat head as well as arms, piling people up on top of him might not be dignified, but better undignified than dead.

Giving a hum of acknowledgement the steel type floated over to the fallen Rocket and scooped him up gently before hastening back around the bend to keep him out of the line of fire.

Frost meanwhile tried to work out from what he had seen of the base's layout on the map where exactly they might be now and how they could find their way down to the hanger. It was not a question that he was finding especially easy to answer.

Alba squinted and looked away from the hand waving in front of him. The movement made him feel sick, but a shake to his shoulder jostled him enough to bring his attention forward again. Slowly but surely, his vision started clearing, and some rapid blinking brought him enough of the way back. "Yeah," he answered at last, though sounding somewhat out of breath. "Yeah, I'm okay. Sorry, I... I'm okay." He gave a weak but grateful smile, and started using the wall and Inigo's shoulder to pull himself back to his feet. "Thanks." He'd be buying a dozen coffees as soon as they got back to base. No way he was going to be able to sleep after this. "I'll be fine now. It was just the surprise of it."

Reaching for his belt again, he now called out his two remaining Pokemon. "Twitch, Quick Attack to keep them busy. Deal damage if you can, but focus on not getting hit in the process. Trick, just, uh... do your thing. Hazel, you only know closeup attacks, so stick to protecting the injured from back here. Spook! Confusion!" As the orders were issued, each Pokemon obeyed.

Twitch the Pidgey proceeded to dive bomb the Galactics and their Pokemon with repeated Quick Attacks, Spook issued one Confusion after another, and Trick the Shuppet cackled in glee as she let forth Night Shade.

When Pinkie heard the call for injured Rockets, she stepped back from the front line and tried to find her way back to her trainer. The others could handle the fight, she was not abandoning him again. She tried to find the blond head of hair that belonged to Rory but it was hard to see.

She looked over at the spot where he had been trying to stop the flames and there wasn't even an ember. Where had he gone? What happened to him?

Panic was about to set in until she saw the Sharpedo and the water coming from its mouth flowing down and the sheath that was now soaked.

The pain engulfing his legs had crippled the rest of Rory's senses. He was barely aware of the noise going on around him and the battle that continued to rage around him.

Sputtering and hacking, Hayes pushed himself up and looked over at Aulus. "You okay?" he asked, about the time the scarred man did the same.

Alex sounded alright and didn't look to have any major burns; the relief he felt at that was indescribable. "I'm alive," Aulus surmised, staggering upright and casting around at the battlefield. Jerome was down, looked bad, but he was in a bad enough state himself that he couldn't help.

Hah," was all Hayes could say to that; he was soaked in water and blood, thanks to Jerome and the Surf.. attack.. from..

"Oh.. s**t." The blond stumbled Aulus-ward, a sudden urgency in his voice. "s**t. She's got her shark."

"Oh... oh that'snot good. Oh s**t." He probably smelled exactly like dinner now. Going off with the creepy little mechanic actually sounded like a lovely idea right about now. "Le's go," he mumbled, grabbing onto his partner's arm and stumbling back towards the small Agent.

Most of Aulus' team remained fighting the Galactics, but Paul scurried after his trainer at high speed. Scooting up Hayes' leg he blasted a layer of web at the horrible burn across Aulus' back. Spotting somebody else in need of a patch he gave a quiet 'skreeee!' of distress and scuttled back down even faster, vanishing around the bend. Once his intent was communicated to it, the waiting Metang floated down so that the little bug type could reach to rush around Jerome sticking web over his bullet wounds.

Tambrey found herself being led away, but with the little group she'd shared a cell with going down in the chaos and pokemon attacks and gunshots, she found herself wanting to go back.
Still. She could help...
She clicked the pokeball and was rewarded with red light.
"Go help the wound-" Oh no.
Her eyes widened. Two out of three chance it wouldn't be her but... there, chittering away with /delight/ at the battlefield nearby was a little yellow spider.
"Return!" Tambrey shouted... and frowned as Neph... dodged the beam, looked at her with some sort of creepy spider smile and scuttled off toward the fray.
She had a suspicion the spider would find her way back, but to let her out at all had not been her plan...
"Uh. I don't suppose... I can persuade y' to take me back?" The grunt inquired of the pony, already believing it to be unlikely.

Neph, meanwhile, scuttled with delight, ignoring the wounded as she sought out a target..

Xander moved away from the wall and moved to follow Frost. He debated whether to leave Zack and Conrad to help out the ones they were leaving behind but at the moment it didn't seem like a good time to pull them away from their fights anyway. The gray eyed man eyed the bag Frost was still carrying. He would have to get his girls back soon so they could have more protection out and about.

When Elite Agent TRP called out to Agent Frost, Shadow was only vaguely aware of her orders. Only when the agent himself called together the wounded did he realize they were attempting to make a break for it as opposed to standing and fighting. They were on the enemy ship, after all; no matter how hard they fought, it wasn't wise to take on Team Galactic with the current odds. It was their arena and their advantage. No, the only option now was to get out alive.

"Uh - J-jolteon!" the grunt called the the spiky, yellow eeveeloution. "Return!" He held up her pokeball to recall her, but to his dismay, she dodged the red beam.

Lindsay had been fully immersed in battle until she'd heard her trainer's voice call out to her. Jolteon...? That was strange. He'd always addressed her by her proper nickname before. What was wrong with him? He couldn't have forgotten her name. Not hers. He loved her too much; she was certain of it. Something was seriously wrong with Shawn. He wasn't the same boy she remembered. What had happened to him while she had been encased in her pokeball for so many months?

With a worried bark, she hurried to his side, trying to express her concern for his well-being. She didn't want to go back to her ball; not until she knew he was perfectly safe and sound. Who knew what had been done to him while they had been kept apart? She couldn't risk anything else happening to him; not on her watch. Lindsay was here now, and she wasn't about to let anything else befall her precious Shawn. She would stay by his side until the end.

The perplexed grunt hesitated before deciding that yes, maybe it was a good idea to have a pokemon out and at his side during their escape. Just in case. Even if they weren't engaging in direct battle, it never hurt to have extra protection. This Jolteon though...she seemed oddly intimate toward him. Why didn't he remember having her...?

Not the time. Shaking his head free of such questions, the grunt hurried after the platinum blonde agent, his breathing labored from the burn to his chest. It hurt to take deep breaths, but they had to keep moving. Time was of the essence. He just hoped everyone would get out okay and that Jerome, Hayes, and Aulus would be alright. Those three seemed to have been in the worst shape, and though they were strong, capable Rockets, Shadow knew better than most that everyone had their limits.

Meanwhile, the random Haunter that had been busily attacking, counter-attacking, enduring, and dodging was doing his best to hang back with the fighting Rockets. He did his best to buy the others time, acting without a trainer, though he didn't look so out of place beside the other pokemon following orders. Like the rest of them, though, he couldn't hold out forever and he was steadily wearing down.

After a little bit, he noticed a serious-looking female helping a man on the ground. His legs had been on fire and the blonde woman had quickly helped to extinguish the flames with her pokemon's water attack. Now, though, she had her hands full guiding the Sharpedo with her commands. The Haunter, realizing she couldn't help her comrade and fight at the same time, swooped in to take over.

A pink Ponyta that belonged to the man on the ground seemed to be in a panic as she searched for him. The ghost-type called out to her, waving a detached hand urgently. He could get her trainer out, but he would need her help. He didn't trust his gaseous body to be consistently tangible enough to safely guarantee carrying a human.

Reaching down, the Haunter used his clawed hands to pick Rory up under his arms, carefully trying to sit him up, at the very least. He had no arms with which to drape the human over, so it would be up to the Ponyta to carry her trainer to saftey. If she would only come closer and notice, then he could help her barely-conscious trainer onto her back. The Haunter hoped to Arceus that the human wouldn't phase through his ghostly grip before then.

(Seeing as I don't have time constraint with these posts I'm going to blather on a bit with them XD WEEE
please excuse me, <3 )

There was water flowing around him... why was there water flowing around him? Or... was that his blood?
It was probably his blood, knowing that he got hit considering he couldn't move, or even feel any pain anymore, it must be bad.
He could barely hear battle, muffled behind his beating heart.

Where were the others? Books, Scars... the two blonds, one with the Star Wars shirt and the kid, the wisecracking Executive, people he had spent who knows how long with locked in the cell, sharing tortures and near starvation. With nothing but each other to keep going as long as they could.
He hoped they were not laying in their own blood, helpless.

His Pokemon were above him... Bro, his best friend, wearing an expression that Jerome knew... it told Jerome that things were not good.
Then there was his girl, his big monstrous girl, looking like she wanted to tear into something as usual... only there was something else he picked up from her dark, deep set eyes.
She was scared, confused, lost.
He wanted to speak to them, tell Hirss it was okay, tell Bro' to stop looking so hopeless.
He couldn't even find the strength to talk, his mind unable to form the words he needed.

Jerome was barely conscious by the time he was approached and picked up, everything was blurring, and growing darker.
He didn't know what was lifting him, or that he had let out a weak pained grunt in protest.
Long soggy dreadlocks falling messily into his face dripping with blood and water, his breathing becoming shallow and strained.
But by the time he had been gathered in the steel types arms, his eyes had rolled back, and he fell still and limp.

The quick thinking of Paul helped to slow, and even stop Jerome's bleeding, The gangster couldn't stand to loose much more then he already had. That pokemon had just given him a better chance at living long enough to get out of this Galactic ship.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Through her building confusion and frustration, the mutated Feraligatr didn't take very well to another pokemon coming up to Jerome and picking him up.
With a jerk upward and a roar of fury she moved as if to attack the Pokemon, but Bro' was in her face again. the Gengar's eyes narrowed, his mouth shut tight and stubby arms wide.
He placed himself before the inky hulking form of his team mate, her strong fang filled jaws opened as some of her toxic attack spilled from her lower jaw, hissing at it hit the ground.
He pointed to the battle.
Bro' was honestly amazed it worked, turning her rage somewhere else.
But he saw her eyes narrow at him, glance once to Jerome, before her massive frame dropped down onto all fours, segmented tail thrashing behind her claws screaming along the floor as she rushed into join the battle.
Bro' looked over to Boss He told the Pignite.
him and the fire type hurrying after the retreating group.
Once the flame was out on Rory's leg, Faleen moved quickly to drag the Grunt a few steps behind her Sharpedo rather then next to him.
She didn't know this Grunt, clearly someone newer in their ranks, but even so, she needed to make sure she had done all she could before leaving him, He was team.
"You need to go with the others, Can you get over there?"
That question was answered for her when a Haunter suddenly drifted by, reaching down to take the Rocket and bring him off toward the retreating group.
Faleen gave it a nod of thanks before she returned to the battle.
Faleen was well aware of the surprising amount of blood now mixing with the water, and the number on injured.
Hazel eyes scanned over the blood, angered that it had to come from her team mates, but more pointedly, she looked to her Sharpedo.
She knew this pokemon well, and she knew what the smell of blood did to him. Already his movements were becoming jerky and his eyes were dilating.
Faleen's expression grew pleased. This was perfect.
She could handle it, but she was going to have to pay attention.
Standing fast with TRP, the remaining Rockets and pokemon, Faleen pressed a hand against Sharpedo's fin.
"Stay! We need that surf Sharpedo!" She snapped at him, trying to draw his mind back out from his building frenzy.
As much as Sharpedo wanted to get in closer, they needed him to keep the flames at bay, and for his Protect if the time came. She didn't want him out there yet.
This battle wasn't without its punishments though, Faleen could see all her pokemon getting hit with various attacks,
Charizard was taking his own hits from electric and water, the attacks striking his head and chest, staggering the large lizard, but spurring on more bursting flame attacks his wings flapping widely.
Banette was even in the fight, throwing Shadow Balls to try and draw fire more thing along the battle.
That didn't last too long, before he was knocked out of the air by a well placed thunderbolt.
Ice beams
where thrown into the battle from behind Faleen, Where Absol had been, attacking the Starmie.
A inky colored beast with an elongated head was added on the Rocket's side of battle,
The Feraligatr's sharp movement flinging an acid green colored Toxic at enemy Pokemon.
She too was hindered when an electric attack sliced against her, knocking her to her side where she convulsed through the attack. Howling and roaring all the way till she managed back onto her claws.
Rounding the corner Aulus stumbled and lent against the wall, casting around to see who else had caught up. When he spotted Jerome his heart seemed to freeze for a moment; he'd looked bad from a distance but close to.... Well at least Paul had thought quickly. "Is he?..." He couldn't be dead, not after all they'd already been through together, not just as they'd been escaping... right?
Frost stepped up to the injured grunt and laid his finger's on the man's throat. "Pulse, breathing," he said dispassionately, "for now." As the former captive rockets began to assemble Frost mentally ran through the turns they'd take leaving the brig and tried to match it up to the map Star had shown them earlier on. He thought he knew where(ish) they were and where(ish) the hanger was but that was an awful lot of -ish. Still, if -ish was all they had to go on then it would do.
'Alive for now'. Was that all he had? "You know, you could at least pretend to give a ******** about him," Aulus growled, glowering at Frost and still leaning on the wall. Those detached tones and apparent lack of concern for human suffering reminded him far, far too much of Tethys. The two of them would probably get on brilliantly if they were on the same side, pair of sociopathic ********.
Frost treated Aulus to a singularly unimpressed look. "I have a job to do," he said blandly as the sounds of battle continued to rage from around the corner, "it involves getting all of you to the hanger, I don't have time to make a soliloquy about the tragedy of the situation; if I was going to get misty eyed and emotional about anything I would already have done so back in the brig. Now." He turned to the rest of the injured rockets. "Does anyone know the way to the hanger? I have a rough idea from my memory of the maps we looked at, but if anyone - for any reason - is certain of the way I shall not object to taking directions."
