The world is a very mean and nasty place and I don't care how tough you are, It will beat you to your knees and keep you there permanently if you let it. The masked man watched him for a moment. A single glowing blood red eye showing from under the mask. A Sharingan. He walked over to Izumi slowly. He had the look of an Uchiha to him also, but he obviously couldn't tell for sure. He hadn't kept up with who was who and where within the loosely tied together. But he thought he might as well ask him. He noticed the candy in his hand and stepped forward. His paranoid mind made him wonder if it was poisoned. That was however until he took and ate some himself. Akira reached out and took a piece between thumb and index finger. An odd mannerism. Lifting up the bottom of his mask slightly he popped it into his mouth before pulling the mask back down."I'd rather keep that a secret for now. Tell me. Are you of the Uchiha clan?"He looked the young man in the eye. The three dark tomoe spinning around lazily in his own eye.

As Kira was walking along, she saw something on the side of the road where she was walking. Being quite interested, she walked over to the item and bent down to examine it.

Seeing as how it was a puppet, Kira was somewhat disappointed. She had hoped it would be an exciting item, maybe even a treasure map! Though, it was just a slightly molding puppet. With the last storm happening a few days ago, Kira figured it must have been sitting her for a while. Realizing that ninja were very picky about who uses their puppets, Kira decided to make sure no one could defile this person's puppet. Lighting a quick light, the puppet was gone in a matter of moments.
Riding atop his icy bird, Shiro would have a long trip ahead of himself as he made his way over the sea towards Konohagakure for his mission in aiding a neighboring village. He looked forwards as he could see the village docks, and the rushing water, then, far away on the horizon could be seen the mainlands, and by extension, the first buildings that formed the land of fire.

A large group of bandits could be seen waiting at the edge of the docks, they were of no interest to Shiro, and he could easily defeat them, so he allowed his bird to flap it's wings several more times, thus bringing them above the cloud line and out of the range of the bandits before they would even have time to see him.

On his quest to gather the items of power from a year back, he started to head down the mountain of Kiri towards the docks below. He reached into the depths of his clothing and pulled bout the old Chuunin Exam scroll. Opening it up, he picked the clue that he was going to pursue before 's**t hit the fan' in Kiri. Looking down the scroll he found the clue he was ready to embark on. It implied that he might gain the power of lighting itself. Imagine. Controlling the power of mother nature; not the diluted lighting that the human body produces. Such power he definitely wanted in his arsenal.
The clue, lea him to believe it was at Nagi Island. Seeing as it was the place they 'began'. Where on the island, he didn't know but he'd hopefully find it soon.
