((Note that at the beginning of this entire thing you actually referred to the Togepi as She, and now say He.))For a moment Raven would stare at the stack of wood, something itching quietly at the back of his mind. Hadn't he come here for wood? Pink wood no less?
....Well...that was oddly convenient.
Kneeling down, Raven would lift the burden from the Togepi into his arms, nodding briefly "Thank you" He said politely, managing a faint smile. This was good...not to mention easier then his original plan. Making off with the whole tree carried by Genn's tail likely wouldn't have been met with a whole lot of cheering on the part of many forest dwellers.
Rising to his feet, managing the lumber in one arm at least briefly, the child would then see to releasing Fable upon to the field. "Take him" The boy would gesture toward the Seviper with his chin, then looked to the Togepi "We'll make sure he wakes up somewhere other then here" He said calmly, his words ringing truth. Even if that location was likely to be the afterlife.
Yes, though it sounded cruel he'd intended the snakes death from the beginning. Though nothing of the Seviper would go to waste ultimately. He planned to skin it for the leather, remove it's fangs to decorate the scabbard, and after draining the poison the meat would make a fine enough meal for the carnivorous members of his team. He doubted Crowe would shy away from eating the eyes as well. The remaining bones...well he'd find some sort of use for them; but best he do the deed at the edge of the forest.
Once his Charmander had a firm grip on the Seviper's tail tip, the boy would gesture again and they'd begin their departure, the serpent being dragged behind them.

The movement of the pokemon through the underbrush would attract the attention of others. In this case ...it was a Taillow as the pokemon's wings were spread wide, and he would chirp lightly as he rocks on branch and then the other. His entire body was shook with the sight of the snake, they didn't have to worry much about being bothered there were few pokemon that would deal with someone whom could kill a snake that size.
(Sorry no big adventure like with Bright here ...and I thought I might do that. Tried to stick to it, but I must have left a he somewhere in there.)

((Actually that last post with the Togepi was all he and his.))Raven would cast a glance in the general direction of the Taillow rather briefly. A good species on the whole. Swift and full of vigor for battle, especially when it came to territory.
This one however didn't seem particularly inclined to fight, so neither was he.
Instead he would simply continue forward, Fable and the unconscious Seviper in toe. He'd do what needed to be done at the edge of the forest. He didn't honestly believe anything would mourn the loss of this creature, but at times it was better to be safe then sorry.

Though as they neared the edge of the forest ...Raven would find that his plans would hit a small snag ...as the four hoofed pokemon would come out of the forest. Ears down as she would hit the ground hard with her hooves and she snorted. She hated the snake breed in her forest, but she hated the human breed more ...as she looks dangerously at the pokemon.
She would prance over towards him ...as she made it clear, if he was to past it would be through her.

Raven would halt when faced with the Girafarig, Fable following suit behind him; but oddly the boy would not prepare immediately for battle. Instead he would do something rather off for a member of the Strike Team...at least he considered it odd...
Rather then fight with his sword, the boy would choose to fight instead with his words.
"You aren't fond of humans, that is clear by your stance...but does that not make your actions counter productive?" He asked, arching a brow as he held the bundle of wood in his arms "I intend to leave, and I cannot imagine I'm likely to return. Fighting me will only delay my departure of this forest."
"And what of the outcome? What if you win? Will you kill me?" He asked, tilting his head "I imagine that may bring only more humans. Either to retrieve my remains or in search of what I came for. Defeat without death would hold no purpose. It would not change the outcome as it already stands. I would depart with no intent of returning" The boy stated calmly.

The pokemon took a even bigger stance. He was talking with reason ....good reasoning, but still ....she would clop her hooves into the ground. To be told so by a human didn't make his words any less of a sting, but she smirked lightly as she would thrust her horns at him.
(I am not just fighting for your departure, right now, you have become a bit of a hero for those whom say you fight that snake. I need to make it clear that I am the stronger of us ...that even if you took away the serpent my power is no less in this forest.)
(There is value for me in defeating you ...beyond my hatred and that is my pride and my stance here. I won't let you leave here in tact ...though you made one good point ...I do want to let you leave)
She would ground her hooves into the earth as she glares at him. No she still wasn't going to move, and though she had to change her motives ...they would remain as her motive.

Raven shook his head briefly. He couldn't understand it's words, but it was clear this one would not be dissuaded. Very well, he would fight; and with Fable's arms full, there was only one clear choice.
The boy would grasp the second ball upon his belt, and once more the forest would echo with the bellowing roar of a Steelix.
Pokemon: Steelix [M]
Name & Level: Genn, Lv 6
[Temperament] Hasty
Bio: Raven met with this Onix while making his way through Clockwork Cavern. An Area Guardian, his charge was evidently a Magnemite the boy had recently passed. Believing Raven a threat, the Onix attacked immediately. Raven seeing qualities he liked in the Pokemon, and after suffering some minor damage while battling against Fable, the Onix was quickly captured. An act he made no move to fight against. Quick to make his decisions, Genn rarely listens to Raven in battle, having chosen his next action before the child even has a moment to speak.

Though she wasn't some pathetic ...Seviper to be toss and thrown to the wolves. She would lower her head even as he appeared and let her own power flow over her ...as she arch the attack of her own move to match his ......as the power flared and in one pulsing blast she would send out a wave of power that can only be called confusion as she seeks to send him flying backwards ...as the power enveloped the Steel pokemon. Her entire body sweating with the effort it would take to send him flying ....if she could only get him off of the ground.

Genn would find himself at a loss in terms of an adequate defense against the Girafarig's attack. The Psychic-Type had guessed correctly that the Steelix wasn't exactly at his best when hanging several feet off the ground.
Raven on the other hand was not for lack of ideas. The downside of a mental attack was that it took a great deal more focus then a physical one; something he wouldn't allow her to maintain for much longer.
She hated humans? Then he'd use that against her.
"HEY GIRAFARIG!" Raven shout loudly and abruptly. No further words would follow however, as the child abruptly turned about, bent over, and began slapping his rear in a rather crude taunt. At the same time with his face and freehand he'd begin a series of other rather rude gestures.
Well...he was only twelve.

The attack would have the steelix being thrown as his taunts didn't break her concentration but helped to focus them as her rage drove her to throw the steelix at him. Her muscles were straining with the throw as avein stood out clearer in her head as the steelix body was aimed at raven even as she would slam hi. Into the ground. Glad to release her attack as she stood there panting hard for air. This had really taken the fight out of her.
Her sides were heaving as she wheeze slightly even as she prepared to bound away from whatever attack might come her way.

For one of many times Raven would thank the years he'd spent dwelling in back allies in the next few seconds. Falling onto his stomach from the taunting position, the boy managed to bend himself in a fashion one imagined he could only do under a select series of circumstances, and would likely be feeling tomorrow.
Regardless of how he did it of course, it allowed him to narrowly manage being crushed beneath his own Steelix. Really, how embarrassing would that be?
With the weight of the Steelix returned to the earth so abruptly, the ground would groan and shudder in protest, a great cloud of dust being kicked up all around them by the impact.
The Girafarig's attack would have an unintended drawback it would seem. Now it provided her opponent with ample cover!
"Genn use Ice Fang!" Raven would bark the command abruptly, still upon the ground for the time being. It would take him a few moments to rise, and he didn't want to waste their best opportunity to attack.
A bellow would come from amidst the dust as an icy mist formed around the craggy molars of the Steelix, transforming them into sharp tipped icicles. The earth shuddered in protest beneath Genn's movements, his body pushing him faster then normal as he burst free of the dust cloud.
He was not coming low like one would expect, but low and too the side, lunging for the Girafarig with his maw opened wide. This would bring whole new meaning to the word frost bite!Genn HP: 19

The girafarig was caught in the pokemon's jaws as she fet that icy grip tighten on her hard enough to break bone as she cried out and then in her own defense and confusion would fling her psychic power out at him. Throwing her own pain behind the blow she would literally seek to force that maw open wide.
The pulse of her psychic power ran pure as she not only tried to pry that maw open, but also she would seek to open that jaw wide further than it was possible for a steelix mouth to go.

This time Genn's defense would be prompted by reflex rather then some childish ploy by Raven. Jerking his head sharply to the side, the Steelix would open his mouth of his own free will, attempting to break the focus of the Girafarig's attack by tossing her loosely into a tree.
They'd see how well she could focus on an attack with a cpouple dozen splinters lodged in her back!

The simple throw was more than enough as she twists and turn to land back upon hooves. She would land hard against a tree, and scream out do to the broke bones of the last attack.
She skidded to a stop as her head was done as a trial of blood ran down the tree trunk, and one of the bones in her leg stuck out. She wouldn't be running away any more as she focus her psychic power. Before herself like a shield, the only sort was able to. Make she would have to rely on her power alone, now.

((An important note. I hate to say this but the HP is wrong. 23 - 7 = 16. So the Capture Roll would be 17.))"Genn, use Screech!" An unusual command by Raven, and the second time he'd ordered that particular move that day. Still, he could see the strength in the Girafarig's defense. Even if they managed to it the attack wouldn't be of much use; better to cut their losses and try to make the Psychic-Type harder pressed to defend against their next strike,
After all, that shouldn't wasn't set to block sound was it?
Taking a moment to relax his jaw after all the stretching, the Steelix would rather casually lean in close to the Girafarig. Since she wasn't running, he'd take the opportunity to do this at relatively close range. Inhaling sharply, Genn would open his mouth as wide as it would go and release a bellow which made the trees around them shudder, but even as they stopped the sound would continue, growing second by second into an ear piercing Screech!
