The body of the Solosis would begin to ripple slowly, thick green globs beginning to secrete from the surface of it's outer membrane. Eyes shut tight, the creature worked to exude more of the stuff, a much more prominent sizzle coming from the ground as the acid struck the floor. Settling on his axis, the Solosis would once more begin to rapidly spin in circles, spraying the bright green acid in all directions as it once more called up it's own Secret Power. How would Aella fair against a second encounter with this sizzling gunk?

(19 - 14 + 14 - 10 = 9dmg (-1 to sp.defense)
Aella felt it again ...as she tries to get more of it off and even more come. The electric squirrel couldn't take the pain anymore as she would dive for the nearby ...water ..murky and dark it didn't matter. She dove underneath it ...as she was trying to get it off of her anyway possible.
The water would help with the dissolving, but it didn't make her feel any better as she crawls back upon the land. The acid gone, but she felt so gross. Her teeth clench together with such force that she actually crushed the berry in her fangs as the liquid would go down her throat.
The Oran berry restoring some, but not enough to make her feel like this was a battle worth fighting ...on the same level as before. There was no more need for mercy as she would open her wings wide as her eyes glowed in disgust.
She would never forgive that Solosis for this ...as she powers them forward again with another sweep of her wings. She was using ...Air Slash this time.

Again the Solosis's response would be to remain completely and utterly stationary. The moment his rotation had ceased, he was more then happy to provide himself a moment's rest. Bah! Exercise! By Heatran it was the worst invention EVER! Why did people do this for fun!? Life it would be so much easier if people just sat around absorbing nutrients all the time like he did.
Gasping for breath, the Psychic-Type wouldn't move an inch as Aella's attack came at him. Instead, he'd simply sit there and take it. It was all he could really do...or at least, all he really felt like doing.

It would fail as the girl felt like screaming ...as Aella shivered horribly. She felt the pain ...ease up, but it wasn't enough. She wasn't done ...not yet....as she saw her winds did nothing. Was the creature simply too heavy for it to work? She bared her fangs as she shifted to a another defensive stance. At this rate she would lose.

The Solosis sighed rather pleasantly as the winds blew against his body, more of a gentle breeze then an attack really. Quite refreshing. Smiling, the Psychic-Type felt reinvigorated. Maybe he could manage another lap or two after all...so to speak. Forcing his body to release more of the acidic liquid, the Solosis would spin like a big blubbery top as he once more released his hidden super Secret Power! Acid would spray everywhere, leaving the surroundings with the resemblance of swiss cheese. Of course the globs of acid weren't enough to burn entirely through most of it, but the holes were getting rather numerous and deep.

It was getting to be impossible as she managed to just get rid of the stuff to have more added. More that sting and burn ....as she shook herself all over ...as she tries to get the stuff off of her, but it's to no good. Victoria herself would only managed to avoid the spray by inches as she ducks ...while ....Aella was forced to suffer even more.
The flying electric type ....would shiver ...as she would try again to attack with another Thundershock. She needed this fight to come to an end and soon in her favor.

Instead of simply stopping, the Solosis would continue to spin, allowing his own momentum to carry him now as he released his Secret Power. A deadly spray of acid would meet the sparks of the Emolga...but which would prevail?

(11 - 10 + 15 - 9 = 7 x2 = 14dmg)
The attack would sparkle and shine as it shot through the acid to hit the Solosis. Both Aella and Victoria both hoped that was enough ...though the pokemon hadn't seem like it ...even as overweight as it was ...it was more than enough to bring them to their knees. This was an insanely tough pokemon.

With that final electric shock the Solosis would be down for the count. His body sagging, the water filled membrane would cause the Solosis to fall sideways into the river of sewage, bobbing up and down as it carried him down stream.

With so much pain ....Victoria thought about recalling her partner and heading back to heal them again. It would probably be in her best interest to do so then it would be to simply continue forward, and she sighed openly. She hadn't made it more than a few feet within this time as she turns and head back towards the entrance.
She would make it all the way to the end the next time, but she didn't want to risk her pokemon's lives just to get there just yet.
It was with heavy footsteps that she turned back around.

...And so it was that Victoria's own personal horror show would continue on. Moving back down the hall, passed the place where she had been faced with the Shuppet, far and away from the majority of the slime, she would find herself amidst a purple haze. Toxic looking purple smoke would trail at her feet, thick billowing clouds appearing ahead of her and behind. One couldn't help but be suspicious of the sight when they noticed one small fact...the gas was remaining exactly the same distance away from her on all sides.
A deep, hearty chuckle would fill the air around her...and soon turn into a sinister, maniacal cackle. At her feet the haze would begin to rise, twisting and squirming through the air around her body, a living thing seeking to ensnare her; and as it reached her face, it would all compress into a single grizzly face. With slanted eyes, and a wide grin to bare his fangs, the ghostly apparition would say one thing, and one thing alone...
">BOO!<"
Then laugh hysterically, like it was the funniest thing in all creation.

Victoria gave a shriek that would fill the entire place as she turned and literally tried to escape by diving ...into of all things....the water of the Sewer. There was only a split second for Aella to react as she launches herself into the air ...hopeful that she could avoid being dragged down with the girl.
The choice she had turned down ...in fear ....she hadn't even hesitated.
Aella was actually kind of hoping that the Gastly would catch her.

Unfortunately the Gastly would due precisely the opposite of the Emolga's desire. Spreading the gasses away from the sewage river, the Ghost-Type would actually make it all the easier for the girl to breach the sludgy waters; and the moment she slipped beneath, he would once again start up a stream of hysterical laughter.
Rolling about as if there were a floor beneath him rather then air, the spectre laughed endlessly. Soon enough his body would begin to fade, first the orb of his head, then the eyes, and lastly the grin. The Gastly would leave only his laughter behind, and soon that too would fade from the sewers.
No, he was not out to feast upon the girl's emotions, nor even battle, he was simply out looking for a good time; and he'd most certainly found it!

Aella frown at the outcome, but glides after her. Skimming above the water as the girl motors away ...at least this was some improvement. As least she had managed to actually get away for a change instead of simply running into a wall or fainting.
Though when the girl finally came to land ....the Emolga wouldn't land anywhere near her. Even thought he clip on her nose she stunk ....as Victoria looked just as miserable as she was stinky.
"I hate this place."
She declares loudly to herself.

Victoria might have come to hate the sewer, but the many Pokemon that dwelled within it adored it for one reason or another. Though none more then what slowly slipped out of the sludge behind her. There was nothing he loved more then the magnificent sewer...or so he had thought till moments ago. Hair frizzy from the lingering static, clothes smeared with muk, body soaked in sludge, and shoes laced with slime, Victoria looked like some horrendous creature that had clambered out of a polluted bog. Her odour wasn't far off from it either; yet to Pokemon at her backside, she might as well have smelled like half a dozen roses.
Yes, the child had found a rather unique admirer in the depths of the Academy Sewers, in the form of a Grimer following behind her, his eyes reshaping to look like big pink hearts.
