Tedan had actually woken up a little while ago ... but rather than see what all the noise in the hallway was about, the now-tiny trainee had instead gotten distracted by all the random stuff in his dorm room. First, there was the fact that he was suddenly a kid ... then he'd found the stash of cookies and candy he still had leftover from Christmas. And then he was spent a good twenty minutes running in useless circles around the room before finally ending up yanking his coat down from the chair he usually tossed it on and wearing it like some huge robe.
And pretending he was Superman.
Then the alarm went off, and he jumped, covering his ears. Whaaaaat did that .... then he heard more noise outside. A lot of crashing around and yelling, mostly.
He jumped. Geeeeeeezzzz he'd almost forgotten about Arda!!
"Then we better go fight it!" Tedan declared and ran out into the hallway. He summoned his weapon and nearly fell over at the sheer size of the ax - which was considerably bigger than he was usually. Now the weapon was just freakin huge.
"HYAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!!!!" Tedan screamed, charging for the monster with the ax sort of dragging along the ground behind him. Which was really a completely ineffective way to attack. Instead of doing anything useful, he just ended up running right past the monster.

Aleister caught H's glare and tried not to whine more. His face was red where the chain had just smacked him and he whimpered. It was when Before walked up and asked if he needed a hug the blonde boy couldn't hold it in anymore. He hated today; shadows, mean people, Puca smacking him in the face, and no pancakes for breakfast! He knew he shouldn't be crying but it was really a lot to deal with when you were turned into a kid. He didn't really answer before, because he didn't really know how to answer that.

Sherry had started to follow Wilson, but then things happened. It was all loud, and therefore interesting. Plus it involved the Bear. Sherry liked the Bear.
But then the alarms went off, and they had company. "Now? Why now?" This was not the time to be attacked. Just...just what were they supposed to do?
Armagnac had been strangely silent until now.
"But..." Sherry began.
Let's take care of this...then fix your problem.> She didn't sound happy.
Sherry sniffed. She couldn't help it, really. But Armagnac was right. She did need to fight that thing. The brass bracelet on her arm glowed, and a moment later she was holding a glaive in her hands. A very, very large glaive. Armagnac in her weapon form was just a bit longer than Sherry was tall. Like this...
The blade was heavy, and fell towards the ground. Sherry did her best to stop it. There was no way in hell she could hold this thing properly. Instead, she clutched Armagnac as near the blade as she could, the long handle dragging behind her.
She tried to stab at the thing...and failed. Sherry was sad.
HP: 19/20

Thankfully, the Fear specimen seemed to be only interested in one target. The only one above three feet tall that is.
Today, just today, Gale was the hero.
Just today. OOC: BOSS FIGHT ROUND 2 BOSS FIGHT: 31/50 HP- To attack, all Hunters can only roll 2d4 instead of the 2d8/10 (except Gale). You can only have one attack per gm round. - The damage you don't do ie: your "missed" damage, is the damage you do to yourself instead. Yeah... who told you to carry such large weapons.... jeez. (Ie: if I roll 2, 2 = 4, 4- 6 = -2. I do 2 damage to myself) - You CANNOT use charged attacks (except Gale) - All kids have 20 HP (except Gale)

This thing was SUCH A JERK. Madison shifted her double-handed grip on the blade, then charged forward with a high-pitched shriel, using the sword less like an actual sword and more like a lance. Her persistence paid off when the sword drove into the beast. Just a little bit, but enough to count. "Take that, you poo-head!"
... Wait. Poo-head? That was the best she could do? This sucked.

Was the thing actually attacking? While it seemed to be interested only in Gale, it didn't seem to have made a move to hurt him yet. Still, better to get it out of the way than have it turn suddenly hostile.
Jordan scowled at the thing. He could at least hit it, even if he couldn't use Ferros.
Unfortunately, someone's foot was in the way, and he yelped as he fell flat on the floor.

While Dr. H and Caelius were squabbling, Gale was busy wondering at their so-called illustrious leaders.
He took another shot, then held out his hand to give Maddie a high-five and an actual, genuine smile.

As Before continued to back away from the visibly upset Deather, he bumped into someone. Or rather, something. It was the shadow-creature!!!!"I DON'T HAVE ANY LUNCH MONEY!!!!"And with that panicked squeal, he slammed Vanna's broadside against the creature before Before went and GTFO!!!! And by that, he hid behind the BIGGEST thing there was in the room that the shadow wasn't currently attacking: Robert.

It didn't take very long for Tedan to figure out that he missed, but his little five-year-old legs just kept churning, taking him down almost to the end of the hall before he stopped. Turned around. And then charged back the other way. This time, he sang the Superman theme as he ran toward the monster. At the very top of his lungs. Not that it helped, at all. It took a few moments for Aleister to calm down enough to see Before backing up. The death hunter sniffled as he pointed at his face where he ended up smacked with his weapon and then towards the shadow. He was hiccuping as he tried to clam down. At least the shadow wasn't after him, that helped a little when he saw it going for Gale. He just hoped since he was away from the bear H wasn't going to end up trying to kill him again. "S-s-shadow...." Aleister finally managed lamely when the break in between the hiccups was long enough for a word.

It took a little bit of whining and a almost temper tantrum, but Leon managed flick the on switch. And his little five year old body shook as the weapon began to rev up.
"VROOM VROOM VROOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOMM!" he screamed out in excited glee as the weapon began to carve a path in the floor all around the place, with him hanging onto the handles as he practically flew by.
"I'm on a chainsaw rocket!!!!" :> his parents would be so proud as the "Rocket known as nid drove straight at the shadow beast and past it with his bearer still hanging on.
Getting it to stop, that was something else.

Cass had shot herself in the foot. A monster was terrorizing them. Caelius was mean. There were fart jokes. Somewhere, someone said Robert replacing H which made Marcus cringe. Before was trying to comfort Cass. Gale was still tallest. Cass was crying.
Cass was crying. And before had stopped helping. Fine Before see if he ever gave you hugs!
Even Dis told him to stop what he was doing as stop Cass from crying. Defend Cass! Like a moon hunter! Be the moon hunter Marcus! Be the-
The blade summoned, it went to the ground with a thunk as it landed in front of them. Pouting, Marcus hugged Cass, mumbling how he would protect her. He promised even. He said he would kiss her boo-boo later but right now he was going to protect her.
By hugging her.

Otto tried to lift his weapon again, but as it got an inch off the ground, his strength gave out and the giant boomerang squished his tender, tiny fingers. The little hunter yelped with pain, crumbling to the floor and sticking his fingers in his mouth.
