soulreaver_pmr As Reno made his way up the stairs he heard a sceam."What the hell was that?!" He turne around and threw one of the granades he had at the persuing gaurds. He went into the room were he heard the scream and found Edith on the gound. He was a bit shocked at the dead bodies. He ran over to Edith and shook her."Hey! Edith! Come on kid dont do this! Edith wake up! Its me Reno!"
Next came the most bizarre portion of her dream, the pedestal or alter spoke to her and told her to touch it. Eden, hesitant to oblige, did so with high caution. Nothing could have prepared her for the sudden burst of power she received. In the dream, she was knocked completely aback, whilst in reality her body glowed with a celestial grace. Her skin started to tingle, then it actually started to burn as Reno held her.
Abruptly, Edith awoke from her momentary slumber. Her eyes were wide with fright as she laid eyes upon Reno, still somewhat asleep when she saw him, Eden momentarily could not register Reno into her memory in order to remember him. Slowly she started to back away, when suddenly, one of her bloody, bullet-filled arms shot at him. Her eyes were, at the moment, drained of any thought or feeling. Suddenly, Eden's eyes returned to normal and she was absolutely confused.
"Reno? Is that you? Great... I think I'm beginning to hallucinate yet again, or perhaps this is another weird dream, unfortunately, I know I'm awake so I must be imagining this..." Her eyes rolled when suddenly, the pain she should have been feeling from every single bullet that hit her finally began to sting and burn. Edith groaned, trying not to scream and give away her postition, but she was suffering immensely. The bullets had torn through her arms, they were literally covered in bullets and blood. Her thighs were the same, all the material had been viciously torn away by the bullets in order to imbet themselves within her very flesh.
Her blood cascaded now, like it should have before, and she was feeling every bit of it...

Aiden reached the High Rise district within minutes. His movements were a blurr as he proceeded to the particular building where he knew this sniper would be. How he'd waited for this... Aiden, with great stealth and skill, entered the building. Guards were posted to wait for him at the entrance... However, Aiden entered the building with no detected noises. His eyes were instantly able to see in the dark, and he used it to his advantage.
Aiden was able to meld with the shadows perfectly, the only parts of him that were not covered in darkness was his long silver hair, and his yellow eyes that showed no emotion. Quietly, Aiden snuck up behind one of the guards and gently slit his throat with his knuckle claws. He laid the body down quietly so the comrades would not percieve his action. He took out two more the same way, and the last...
Still unnoticed, Aiden crept up beside the final guard and menacingly, yet completely apathetically whispered within his ear, "Boo." Instantly the guard turned to see who the hell had just done that, when their movement was Aiden's set-up. The guard literally impaled themself, turning directly into Aiden's out-stretched claw. Aiden sneered in satisfaction and began to lap up the blood on his claws, then turned to the guard... He hadn't fed for a very long time...

Reno looked at Edith a bit confused noe.'Huh why did she look so scared a minute ago? Well she seams to be back to normal.' Reno noticed her groan and soon saw the source of it."Oh god! Damn what did they do to you!?" He gentally held her arm and examined the bullet wounds. "Damnit.....there in pretty deep. We need to get them out of ya." Reno dug into his pocket and got out a small knife and a peice of wood."You might want to bite down on this." He said handing her the peice of wood."Okay, now hold still. Im going to try and get those bullets out of your arm. But its not gonna be pretty." He said looking into her eyes."But dont worry, I 'll do my best to get them out. I promise you that."

Edith looked at Reno uncertainly and uncannily, she knew that the bullets had to come out, she was already half-dying of blood loss. The blood continued to flow endlessly, there were at least twenty bullet wounds in each of her thighs and fifteen in each of her arms. She was a bloody mess and she'd been shot good, any normal human likely would have succumb to their great injury and died.
She realized this all too well, and was confused as to why it only hurt, but she was not growing faint at all... These were serious wounds, and yet, she was still alive, breathing properly, and even sitting up. Reno didn't seem to notice how many wounds she actually had, perhaps it was because of the dark. Then, as she nodded and was about to take the block of wood, she abruptly cringed in pain. One of the bullets from her arm fell out causing an echoing clatter in the near empty hall. The clatter agitated Eden's nerves and she held her head to calm herself. It had been a bullet that had penetrated her muscle, another reason why she was confused as to why she was able to move.
Not knowing what had happened, Eden swiftly inspected the torn area where the bullet had fallen out moments before... The bullet was not there, of course, but neither was the wound it had come from... "What the...?" Were the only duo of words that emitted from Eden as her hazel eyes stared at her arm in confusion, fear, and awe.

Reno looked at Edith a bit oddly as he struggled to light a cig he had since one of his amrs had been shot up.He had just finished removing his own bullets."Well dont ask me what just happened but it seams your healed up."He finally lit the cig and took a puff of it."Wish it were the same for me." He said looking at his amr wich was covered in blood."Come on we have to find your brother. Can you stand up?"

Jag grinned even more maliciously, since she smelt blood aroudn teh corner. But when she turned it, she was greeted by a silver slug from a shotgun. She stopped, surprised, and another slug pierced her shoulder. Ski growled and rushed towards the five, but collapsed half way. The leader smirked.
"She'll die form blood loss in a short while. Might as well leave her here." As they passed, Jag tried to lash out with her claws, but a heavy boot connected with her side. As they speedily left, Jag took in the deepest breath she could, and howled. The howl echoed doewn the hall, inot a room, which bounced into the halls surronding it. Soon, three different floors heard her pain.
Lying on the ground, the fur sunk into her pores, her fangs became normal, etc. Skiaska was back, and dying. Looking tiredly at the ceiling, she smiled sadly. "I'm sorry... I've... failed..." Her eyes closed, but she wasn't completely dead. Jag was still keeping her alive, but barely.

Suddenly all the bullets that were embetted within her body were forced out. It was very painful, but the pain soon let up once the wound itself started to heal up. Edith was amazed, since when had her body been able to do this? She'd seen some vampires and lycans capable of it, but not ordinary humans like her. She smiled to herself, perhaps God had answered her prayer, perhaps he had given her the power she had wanted and it somehow made her stronger.
However, Eden felt no different, she just didn't feel the pain that should have killed her moments ago. She was surrounded by a puddle of blood and seventy-one bullets that had dropped within the crimson liquid. Her vision had also improved greatly for she could see almost as well in the dark as in the day and she could see well enough to count all seventy-one bullets.
Eden turned to Reno, feeling somewhat guilty for being able to heal like this and be able to suddenly see so well. It was sudden, but it had been convenient, she would have died from blood-loss otherwise. "Uh," she began, "I don't know exactly what just happened either, it's kinda creeping me out... I'm sorry I can't really do anything for you Reno..."
At the mention of her brother she perked up, and forced herself to stand. The agonizing pain that was just below her shoulders continued to haunt her, despite the bullets having been dealt with. "Yeah, I can stand, let's go fine Will...But first, uh... can I ask you a ques-" Suddenly a sharp howl rang through the hall. Edith couldn't be sure whom it was, but whoever it was, they were in trouble...
Edith was about to take up her axe when she remembered that her wrist had been fractured... Annoyed, she began to attempt to move it and flex it. It moved perfectly, no pain, not even a crack. Eden smiled, her wrist had been healed as well. She quickly took up her axe, she was yet again stunned by another event, her axe was even lighter than she had recalled it would be. Wanting to test herself, Eden let go of her axe with one hand and found that she could support and hold it with a single hand... "Whoa, this is new..."
Quickly Eden turned to face Reno, "Are you able to get up yourself? Your arm looks terrible..." Her hazel eyes shone with concern as she inspected the fellow hunter's arm. Gently she suggested, "Perhaps it would be better if you remained here where the enemies have been taken out. There's still the cover of the dark, and there's a flashlight if you want. Either way, I have to go help out the lycan who's in trouble."

She ran out of the building and came upon five gaurds who were laughing over someone they had just taken out. They never even knew what hit them.
Saria came up behind two and cracked their sculls open with the side of her blade. As the other two ran towards Lain, she swiftly took care of the fools.
Saria ran towards a fallen figure and bent down beside her.
Seeing she had been shot up pretty badly Saria opened her pack and pulled the bullets from the wounds. Then she raped and bandaged them to stop the bleeding.
"Hey. Are you alright?"

Reno laughed at the question if he could get up."Hahahaha. You kiddin me? Of course I can get up.You dont have to worry about that.Besides Im a trained assassin, I was made for working under any cercimstances. And that includes having my arm filled with bullets.Besides, hidein aint one of my strong points. And Im not lettin you have all the fun."
Reno slowly got up and threw the cig out of his mouth and stompped it out on the ground. He grabbed his cane and rested it on his shoulder. "See. I could take on more than an army in this condition." He raised his eye brow."By the way what did you want to ask me? You stopped in the middle of your question."

The lights cut back on again, the emergency power finalyl kicking in. Using her telekenisis, Lydia opened the door, saying for all to hear, "Grab something from the pile of weapons. Once you do, set a few people to help guard this room and then send the rest to go buddy up with any hunters they can find. The lights will being going on and off as I go through each of the power supplies, so be forewarned. Also, if anyone of you have explosives, drop them off here. I will send out orders later as they are needed."
Working furiously, the lights went out again as Lydia put the first back up power supply out. In a minute or two, the lights were on again, and finally, the last back out system was out and everything plunged into darkness. Not a single thing that ran of the electiricty supplied to this place was opperating, including alarms and door locks. The only place that had power was the control room now, and there was still work to be done.
Lydia then did a telepathic sweep of the area, searching for those who were still around. Finding her allies, Lydia sent to them, Skiaska's injured. Anyone who is available should go find her and help her get out of here. Also, hurry up with what you are doing. After I take out a few more systems, I am going to bomb this place and turn it to rubble. You have maybe 20 minutes top. Lydia out.

Helping the stranger to a safe distance away, Saria asked Lain to watch her until she was ok.
"I am going back in to see how I can help." Saria handed Lain a strange coin with a string tied through the middle of it. "You should be able to find me with this. It will glow brighter the closer you get to me. I will see you soon!"
And with that Saria ran back into the dark building.

Naota segara Simon leaned against the wall, when Albert to the previous room to retrieve his Ak. He kept his own AK close, it was like his life line, and so was his team. "I hate green," Simon commented on the night vision, it was a botter, but it's exactly what'll let him see. When Albert returned, simon explained, "Flick the switch up for Night vision, the middle is regular, and the bottom is for thermal sights." He waited a second for Albert to be ready, and when it would seem he was ready. Simon motioned with his hand for Albert to lead the way. "Let's go." Albert's current vision was darkness. Black darkness. He flipped the switch on the side of the goggles, and the room was lit up in a darkish-green light. "Woah!!" Albert was shocked off his feet. The light from the goggles came so suddenly, he had no time to prepare his eyes for what he was going to see. "Okay, this is very new. I guess I'll just have to deal with this ugly color until then, huh? Let's go." He lugged his guitar case over his shoulder. His hopes were not to use it, under any circumstance.
Albert began to walk forward, he reached for his handguns again. One hand was outward, in front of him, the other, close to his body, in defense. Albert edged himself across the wall, leading Simon into across the hall and into the next room. There were two guards, unsuspecting, and a little intimidated of the darkness they were standing in.
Each were armed with two hand guns. One was sweating from fear of death, the other was flipping the light switch like an idiot.
"What the ******** is wrong with these lights?" said the guard flipping the switch.
"Hey! Didn't you hear the gunfire!? I don't feel like gettin' killed!" Said the guard with fear.
"Ah, shut up. The guys who broke in here must already be dead. No way they coulda survived eight guards on their own.
"Oh my god! You must be joking! There was an explosion! What the ******** is wrong with you!? Are you ********' deaf!?"
The guard flipping the switch slapped him with his gun. Albert looked at them from afar,"Dude, Simon, this is sad..."

mortis closely followed his crow in a stealthy drop in from the floor above in a soft roll making the entrance even less detectable. "well that was easy......I despise easy, it makes it more likely for danger up ahead.....and why is it so dark in here? not that i dont like it!"he thought silently to himself.
he came across a lone guard so he flew towards the cieling as not to be detected. "a guard on his own with these circumstances..........dolt!" the dolt part was just loud enough for the guard to tense up. thw guard turned around to investigate as mortis swooped down and began to feed on the idiot.
"ahh that felt good, i havnt fed in days" he thought as he hid the body in a storage locker in the next office. he continued around the corner to spot two more guards. he propelled his daggers at a dizzying pace into the guards heads. he darted in to retrieve his weapons as his cloak swept rakishly against the floor.
mortis darted in to the nearest office after hearing rapid footsteps. he cautiosly watched through the window as 7 more guards discovered the two bodies. after watching the guards' frantic worry mortis blasted through the windows and took out a guard with a quick roundhouse to the jaw, followed by another downed guard this time the cause was a knive wound to the throat. he knew that if noone heard the glass of the window shatter that he ran no riskl ofbieng caught because of a little gunfire so he rolled out of a guards aim as he let out a shot to the guards heart and dove effortlessly tawards the next one's heart with his claws.
he ejected his wrist blade from it's hiding place and performed a quick slash to the face of yet anothe guard the the gut of but another. a jab kick sent the final one flying into the wall then he acted as he was to stab the only remaining guard through the heart whil simultaneusly recalling his blade into the cloak. "now... what floor is HE on? he viciously asked""i dont know"was the guards reply. *mortis inched his blade out until it barely refrained from breaking the skin.*"ill ask you again... where is he?""i dont know"*sighs* he inserts his blade further into the guard. "ONE LAST TIME.... WHERE IS HE!!!" "I DONT KNOW I SWEAR" mortis completely ejected his blade as it delved into the guards heart.
"damn, too many casualties and none of them likens"*sigh* "there is nothing mor i can do here" he thought. with thus he slammed through the window to the outdoors and spread his cloak as to glide down safely to the next roof.
