Jesabelle I have a calling With her weapon up and her eye peering down the reflex sight of the scope, Jes rounded the corner and fired three shots into the faceplates of the first Talon operatives in the squad. They dropped without knowing what hit them and their comrades didn't have the time to acknowledge their deaths as Jes fired with accuracy into the remaining members of the squad.
The Black Talon's may have been among the elite, but there was a reason that Jesabelle had been sent in by herself. She was the best in her field and a simple pincer manuever wasn't going to catch her.

The counterattack by Jes threw off the Black Talon squads, as they imediately fell back. Just as suddenly as the I.O. elite fell back, thick steel blast doors slammed down cutting off all three avenues of escape for the infiltrating agent. As soon as all doors were magnetically locked, a greenish gas poured in.
(Knockout gas by the way.... twisted )

Carol Ferris flew over the I.O. base and, without a second thought, she released Inertia from her construct about a hundred feet in the air, outside the base itself; what did she care if the mutant was injured? She'd nearly killed Carol's daughter for absolutely no reason. In Carol's mind, Inertia was lucky that she hadn't been dropped from a few hundred more feet...
That done, she immediately flew back to Coast City, not sparing the base any more thought.

 A cargo truck would slowly arrived at the lockdown base. However, managing to enter a hanger, which was closed behind them. The camouflage truck, no longer blended with it surroundings like it had done in the desert which made sense, but the cargo would be forced out and taken by a squad and rushed into the base. The cargo was forced low as they moved until they reached a lockdown classroom, tossing him in, they would relock the door to make sure all of them stayed safe. However, the cargo would now be stranded in the same class as Nat till this Lockdown ended.
"Ow." He breathed.

 Nathalia nearly screamed. One minute the door opened, the next some guy was lobbed into the classroom. "Who the hell are you?" she demanded, grabbing a text book for a weapon. It was Algebra 2, at least one thousand pages. More than perfect to knock a guy out.

The boy got up slowl, but would seem a but disorientated due to this being his first time here, but the voice helped alot as he got a mental image of what room looked like in his head so he wouldn't bump into things. Echolocation was awesome. He hadn't missed her question, but had only taken his time to answer. "Well, I'm a nobody, but most people call me John Joe. I'm a new recruit. How about you, who are you?" He asked in a curious voice, completely ignoring the item in her hand which she could possibly be a dangerous object.

Jesabelle I have a calling Jes smiled inside her helmet. The gas merely shifted around her feet and rose slowly to fill the confined space, not affecting the agent at all. The reason for this was simple, her helmet and skintight suit were sealed together and the helmet had a small rebreather inside of it, otherwise she wouldn't have made the H.A.L.O., or High Altitude, Low Oxygen, jump.
Perfectly safe from the cliche knockout gas, Jesabelle backed into a corner and slumped down, playing at being affected. She guessed that the Talon's were watching her and would come for her when they saw their target taken out by their gas. In reality, Jes was waiting for them to come get her, because when they did, she'd blast them with the caseless scattergun, A.K.A. shotgun, that was currently being slid ever so carefully from it's holster on the operative's thigh. The gun required no pumping and was fully automatic, making it the perfect hallway sweeping weapon.
Inertia "I'm one bad B**ch Though still unconscious and unable to do anything about her descent, Inertia was saved by her sudden arrival and drop off, as a returning helo from the base collided with her and exploded on impact. The explosion sent the mutant on a different trajectory, landing her right on top of the main building of the base. With her massive weight and terminal velocity, Inertia connected with the building and punched through the cement and steel.
The unconscious Meta human just happened to crash through the ceiling of the room with Natalia and 'John', though she was on the other side of the room. The final impact filled the room with dust and debris, along with making a small crater in her corner of the room.
And don't you doubt it!"

"Yeah, I guess." John said in reply back to her question. If she noticed or had paid attention to him, his aqua blue eyes had not moved at all. They were staring straight ahead. Many judge him by his looks, he was just a slop, since he kept his hair the way he did and how he dressed. He was blind, so it mattered not to him. Though, he could hear something hit the ground from the ceiling, but had no idea what it was other it having a heartbeat.

Nathalia was about to reply when another person crashed into the room. "WHAT THE FREAKING HELL IS GOING ON HERE!?!?" she yelled, eyes on Inertia. John didn't even blink. What was he, blind?

( stressed scream Okay...... more people invading a base that's completely off the books.... gah. At least, I already figured out who would have sent Jesabelle. But now what is this? I'm beginning to feel like the maid. 'I just cleaned up this mess, can't it stay clean for like ten minutes!' Hey Deviant and Tuff, PM me okay? Let's coordinate our stories here.)
Helga Kleinmann eyes went wide at the superhuman's crash in the classroom clicking on a comm, "GOTT IN HIMMEL!!! Keeper Team to Classroom 312!!! SCHNELL!!!" Then the German instructor turned toward Nat, "Miss Carter, help me get ze students to ze Mess Hall!"
While Rachel began to panic, the mousy redhead that was Caitlin Fairchild got up and began pulling both Roxy and the scared blonde Rachel toward the doorway -- hearing the stress in Kleinmann's voice, "C'mon Roxy and ... whoever you are... we need to get out of this room before it collapses!!"

Nat nodded. She knew where the mess hall was, and somewhat who to look for. "Everyone follow me!" she snapped, heading into the hall. The Mess Hall was at the opposite end of the building from the knock out gas, but the alarms were still ringing. Nathalia began to head forward, careful to keep in sight of the others while still playing lookout.

As the last student exited the ruined classroom, Helga backs out of the room at the same time a Keeper team closes in. Helga points emphatically, "In zere!"
............
Predictably, the doors raise as a six man squad close in on Jes' prone form.....
