Shijura sighed as she watched Yumiko walked away. She looked after the group before getting down from Rhea. "Shijura, what are you doing?" Rhea asked as Shijura started following them. "Shh. I'm just a bit curious Rhea. There's just something about him that I just have to know."

Chishio's head shot up immediately when she heard the door open, and not a second later was she on her feet. "What do you mean we're going some place that Sasuke found? You're still under custody. It was pure luck that the Hokage even considered letting you still live. Do you think he and the entire ANBU will take it lightly if they find out that you've left this building?" she asked, walking over to his side at the back door. "I'll probably get into trouble too if I just let you leave..."

Yumiko looked over the area, making sure that the other Jonins were handling the injured and such before hurrying off towards the Hokage's mansion. She had heard the explosion earlier, but she didn't have time to check it out just yet, even if it WAS the Hokage's home.

ANBU girl earlier?... Oh right, Yumiko... We passed her and Shijura... she thought, half distracted, but she did catch what else he said when he looked at her through the corner of his eyes. "How can you help me?..." she asked, turning away from his look and staring outside the open back door.

For Chishio, the world suddenly went cold, yet at the same time everything was getting brighter. "Orochimaru's... hideouts..." she repeated quietly, lost in thought. Kimimaro... the research... the cure... "... Alright... Lead the way..."

Vale nodded before shooting out of the door with such intense speed, there was no sound. He would meet her at the gate.

Chi hurried after him silently, focusing on getting there without being seen by anyone else. It wasn't long before she reached the gate, then quickly snuck out of the village so it would be safer to meet back up with Vale. The Hokage is going to have my head for this if it's a trick...

Vale was waiting for her in the forest of quiet movement. Motioning with his hand, he took off toward the west, jumping through the tree branches.

Chishio paused for a split second, looking back at the village. It felt strange, almost guilty, to be leaving her village like this. But I'll be back, and hopefully with the research to make sure I'm back for a long time... she told herself before dashing after Vale.

As they went along Vale started to become unnerved. Something wasn't right. Stopping in front of a hole in the dirt under a tree, leading through a tunnel, he quickly grabbed Chi by the wrist, pulling her back, firmly holding her against a tree outside the tunnel entrance, his hand over her mouth. Looking down the tunnel, his Sharingan was active, and his brow was furrowed.

Chi continued following Vale for a while, feeling a little nervous since she had no idea where they were going. When Vale pinned her against the tree and covered her mouth, a shiver ran down her spine. Was this really a trap after all? Apparently not if he was staring down into the tunnel rather than doing anything else. She held still for a few moments before reaching up slowly and moving his hand away from her mouth, just enough so she could whisper to him "What's going on? Something wrong?"

"Just down there is the first Hideout I know of that Kimimaro and Kabuto were in together. However, there's a genjutsu placed over it to hide it. It means someone's in there..." he said, walking slowly down the tunnel.

A protective genjutsu?... No wonder he sensed it, being an Uchiha with the Sharingan after all. So lucky sometimes, I swear, she thought, but decided to keep those thoughts to herself. Silently, Chi followed Vale into the tunnel, walking in his exact steps just in case. Even those without the Sharingan could handle such a task.

Stopping just over a rock, Vale formed a simple hand seal. "Release." he whispered, releasing the genjutsu, transforming the rock into a hole in the ground. "If someone's in there, that means we may have to fight. Let's go." he said, jumping down into the hole.
