This was ridiculous. Domey had seen a lot of odd bosses in video games, but who brought a ******** Christmas Tree to life to fight their own soldiers? If this was a training exercise, he did not approve.
He stood there awkwardly for a few moments, watching the crowd around him without the slightest idea of what to do. How did you fight something like this? The newbie lieutenant had almost no experience with one on one fights, let alone a huge group effort to take something down. He was continuously surprised by the innovation of soldier after soldier, especially when he saw that drunk dread head building a slingshot out of suspenders.
..that was a ******** awesome idea.
He called his weapon, wherever it had landed, back into subspace (surprised that it even worked) and then let it reappear in his hand. Before the guy could even finish the slingshot, Domey was headed his way with an amused smirk on his face. Of course, as one-track minded as he was, he'd forgotten to keep an eye on the tree. Then it exploded and he couldn't keep his eye on <******** you, you ******** tree," he groaned, bringing up a sleeved wrist to try rubbing furiously at his eyes. It was no good, they were dancing with a fuzzy darkness, like snow on a television. But he was angry. He was angry that he had to come to this at all, he was angry that they had destroyed all of the food, and he was angry that this crazy b***h was blinding people over a damn Christmas present. Hadn't she ever heard of Christmas Spirit of giving and all of that s**t?
Fed up, Domeykite brought his megaphone to his lips and clumsily found the button to engage the actual device. "MOVE, GET OUT OF MY WAY," he continued shouting until he found his way over to what sounded like the dreadhead and his partner in crime. He fumbled, found the elastic, and pushed his way until he was sure he was in front of it.
He hooked his megaphone and pulled, back and back, then released with the hope that these guys had set it up dead on and that aiming for the loud, noisy beast of pine needles would be enough. It flew and landed somewhere among the branches with a thud that died beneath the noise of those around him. Domey would never know.
He shifted and tried to back out of the way of the slingshot, squinting his eyes uselessly in an attempt to see.
"Does s**t like this always happen around here?"

A quick shift, a roll; the present table wasn't too far away, and Ilmenite moved quickly to slide his little gift box, purple ribbon now decisively askew, between the legs, where no one would fall or step on it, where the fragile contents would hopefully be sheltered from explosive blasts and officers alike. He stumbled on his way back up to his feet, scanning the crowd briefly, and summoned his weapon even as he moved: bolas, fresh and new, gleaming as they spun in a quick arc around his finger.
He let them fly just as the tree lit up, and was staring directly into the light as it flashed. The world went into a frenzy of light and he was left standing there stupidly, tall in the middle of the room, blinking frantically but unable to clear the spots from his vision.

Outraged by their high levels of damage from their ridiculous catapult contraption, the Christmas tree youma wraps is garlands around Hematite and Chromite, binding them tightly before tossing them across the room before smashing the makeshift weaponry in its fury.
2500HP - 1613HP = 887HP!
The tree is weak! To attack, roll 1 100-sided dice to determine your damage!

"What did I do what for?" Titanite's eyes were blank and unseeing while the general waved her hand in front of her face. "I didn't pour wi- Why would I waste alcohol?!" What the hell kind of person did Red think she was?! Unfortunately, Titanite recovered just in time to see Hematite do just that. Appeal, minus 10k. "Hematite!" she protested, glancing at a suspenderless redhead near to him. This was all the fault of that damn Christmas tree. "BAH HUMBUG!" she screeched at the tree, snatching a plate of deviled eggs and dumping them onto another, darting at the tree with her makeshift... shield. Of sorts. Whatever. She was drunk. This made perfect sense to her.

As his vision cleared and Benitoite picked himself up off the floor he glanced around. His vision landed on the site of Chromite being thrown, along with Hematite, across the room. What the hell had they done to piss the tree off so much? It didn't look like a light landing either. Seemed things weren't over with yet and the tree was still causing chaos all around. His brush was somewhere but he knew he could summon it to himself so did just that. His brush in his hand he hoped his sight wouldn't be taken from him again, or some other sense which was needed, as he took aim.
"As much as it pains me to harm a youma...this one is really out of control." And it seemed none of the youma who had been helping with the party were going to help with this, in fact he was sure he saw one leaving. Shaking those thoughts from his mind he launched his brush at the tree.

Chromite was done with this being thrown about by demonic Christmas symbols every winter. Eye-brows creased she shoved her way through the throng and directly to the tree. Clumsily dodging the youma's flailing branches she summoned her marshmallow shooter back into her hand, raised it over her head, and promptly started beating the tree like one would a bad puppy with a rolled up newspaper.

Laughing his a** off at Hematite and Chromite getting molested by the tree, it was like a PG holiday themed tentacle rape show, sheesh. Graphite stumbled away for a moment, pulling his bottle weapon out from whatever nega-hammer-space it was stored in, swinging it around carelessly. He managed to get close enough to bop it a little, not quite full force.
Maybe a light love tap.
Maybe.
The redhead tripped on his own feet after, snickering, rolling away from the tree.

Obsidian was, of course, fashionably late, idly tossing a sloppily wrapped package that had been intended for Lieutenant Serpierite, but it seemed it would have to serve another use, for now. The general's face stretched wide in a grin as Hematite was snatched up into the air, and, only pausing for a moment, he suddenly threw the present up and into the air. In an instant, his sword had been drawn, and he smashed the object like a baseball, sending it soaring at the rampaging Christmas tree.
The present, unfortunately, was torn open in the process, and inside was a package of chocolate-flavored condoms. The General had very thoughtfully selected it for the voluptuous young lady, but it would have to serve a higher purpose now.
"Well aren't you just pretty," He drawled, laughing to himself even as he shifted into a more battle-ready stance. His eyes were gleaming. Clearly this was exactly what he had in mind when someone said 'party'.

It was just mass chaos (no pun intended) all around, and while the worst he thought the rowdiness level would get to would be some shouting and stumbling, THIS was not what he had in mind. Presents that had not been grabbed were being destroyed by the youma tree, and it didn't seem the serving youma were being that upset over the officers attacking the Queen's creation. He chalked it up to the fact that this one wasn't an creature from the past, but just some ornament that was given some life.
As it was, he couldn't hear a damn thing and there was a whining in his ears that he hoped wasn't permanent. Blind in one eye was bad enough. He didn't need to be deaf too. He just didn't have that time to invest in learning sign language!
Summoning his blades, he gave himself some space and then whipped one end about, spinning it around and around before throwing it out and hoping it would either cut or wrap around the tree. Either way, it needed to fall. Timber - or he at least hoped!
