Had Savior been there the entire time, witnessing everything going on even after she'd stopped fighting?
Yup.
Had she not been paying attention and now was surprised to see things changed and people were worried and there were weird voices?
Somewhat.
Did she want to investigate because she'd grown really bored all of a sudden and now she was super curious about everything else?
Naturally.
And so Savior left.

As everything shifted again, Thackery began to look panicked. He hadn't experienced this sort of thing before, but it was inherently...so unsettling.
"Something's wrong," he murmured, wandering towards the door. He tugged on Ash's arm, not wanting to be separated from him again, urging him to come along. "Something's...really wrong."
The voices tickled his twitching ears and paused his wagging tail.
With the same look of concerned panic, he pushed his way out of the cafeteria.

Ashford followed Thackery out, eyes glancing around, darting from side to side.
The world felt wrong, unsettling. Too much like home, in the remnants of Quiet Ire, where his fellow Pyramidkind were not quite right. Like home in all the wrong ways, making his head hurt underneath its helm.
Ash fled, his sword scraping violently against the floor, sparks flying, as his pace turned into a run.

"Hey, where are you going!"
Hadn't the cerberus been the one insisting that they had to fight this thing, to keep it too busy to cause more damage? And now he'd run off!
Mitzi dodged her way around the tables between her and the door, jumping onto one to avoid an extending "arm" of goo from the pudding, and finally reached the exit. She glanced back at the pudding one more time, seriously considering whether she should stay here and keep fighting it. But if the other two had decided something more pressing needed them elsewhere more than here, well, she hadn't been at the school long enough to be able to tell what it was that they had seen, or smelled, or heard, or sensed. But if she was going to fight she was damn well going to be where she was most useful. So with a shrug, she turned and followed the other two out of the cafeteria.

When the students could eventually bring themselves to eat in the cafeteria again, they'd find Ginger cheerfully preparing lunch, despite two broken arms and a fractured ankle.
They'd also find pudding on the menu for many weeks to come.
