"And eating."
"Yeah, that too. I'm pretty good at eating."
"And-"
"Hey, now, we don't need to get into that one!" He focused back on Stella. "Point is, the whole mercenary thing is really all I know. I've tried the whole 'being good' thing, and it didn't really work out. Got attacked by some bounty hunters, assaulted by Hit-Monkey... No bueno."

If you're good at this, and you have tried to be good and it didn't work, then you don't have much of a choice, do you? Stella's smile fell into a thoughtful frown, and she blinked back at him herself. "Well....no. To be honest, I don't think I could be any farther from perfect." she admitted. "There's still so much I haven't learned or experienced yet, that it's hard for me to fit into social gatherings without....how did Alex put it.....being utterly awkward and embarrassing?"

"It usually works for me," Deadpool replied with a smile of his own, oddly visibly under the mask. When Misty commented, he turned his head to face her and replied, still smiling, "Nah, of course not. That'll start happening on our first date." Then, he turned back to Stella and asked, "WOULD you like to go on a date?"

"Oh, um, sure." Steel replied, a split second before both Misty and Alex could yell 'NO'. Stella blinked and glanced back at the two other women.
".....is something wrong?"
"I...that....you're not ready to date." Misty replied.
She blinked again, then looked at Deadpool. "What is a 'date'?"

C.J. looked at Misty and then over at Stella and Deadpool. "Holy crap . . . NOW I've heard everythang." he said and thought for a moment in his position. He sure as hell wasn't ready either, but here he was. Granted, he and Misty were far from official. Every time he was about to ask some emergency happened where she'd be off to save the world or he'd be off going after a bounty with Arell . . . or Dundee lit himself on fire and had to hustle back to the casa to help the other Cajun put Dundee out.
Arell on the other hand, was still laughing at Dundee, who had his cojones smashed on the bottom banister, but was getting up on his feet.
"You alright?" Arell asked as he helped Dundee up.
"I've been through worse." Dundee squeaked. It was all in good fun. But looked over at C.J. and Misty. "You think they're gonna?" Dundee asked.
"Nah, dude. But worth a shot." Arell said.

"What?"
"What?" Deadpool asked, momentarily forgetting that no one else could hear the other sides of the conversation.
"You just got yourself a date, with a-"
"Ah-ah-AH!"
"ROBOT! I was gonna say ROBOT!"
"And let's keep it that way."
"Anyways, you just got a date, with a robot, that is not only smoking hot, but who seems to actually LIKE you, AND doesn't care about how you bring in the moneys."
"Wow... Come to think about it, that IS pretty weird... It's like we've ended up in some kind of Bizarro World..."
"Would Cheech and/or Chong please report to the front desk."

C.J. looked at Deadpool a little funny. So let me get this straight, writer. You based MY fourth wall breaking on HIM?! he thought, looking at the 20-something who's typing this. Well of course! Deadpool perfected the art.
Oy vey. he thought and got his head back into the party. Of course, THAT little trick, he wasn't about to reveal anytime soon to Misty. At the same time, he was surprised that aside from the Nutcracker incident, Dundee hadn't set himself on fire by accident. Then again, when you play with fire . . . you get electrocuted?!
