╚══════.♥.═╝Miyako listened to the sensei and was surprised to not see anything thrown or punished for something. She shrugged and went about her work. Chakra molding, huh? I can do this! I was made for molding chakra! This was the basic principal to learning jutsu. If you couldn't mold and control your chakra, then jutsu would be impossible to create. She made a handseal and molded the chakra into her hands with ease.
She released her chakra and relaxed. It was a good feeling being inside her own element. If this was the only thing they would be doing, she would be happy about it. She could do it all day if she had to. She formed a different handseal and molded the chakra into her hand. The chakra formed naturally and she let the flow continue for a while before letting her hands break apart and released the mold.
She shook out her hands, which were now tingling from the sensation of her chakra. All she could think about was the jutsu she would learn as soon as she could. The puppet technique was going to be so much fun to learn and then she could build her own puppet! It was going to be exhilarating! She made a hand seal to mold her chakra, but she couldn't feel it. Perhaps I'm too distracted...
She looked over at the younger boy who was molding chakra. He seemed to be done rather fast, but he just kept going at it. Miyako would be done in no time as well. She made a handseal after shaking off her body. She tried forming the chakra into her hands, but it didn't work. She took off her cloak, revealing her white tank top underneath. She was getting really warm and the mental work of molding chakra was hard work. She left on, however, her black hat and arm wraps. She pulled a black scrunchy out of her cloak pocket and pulled her hair up into a ponytail.
After a few deep, calming breaths, she regained her composure, and succeeded in cooling down a little. She closed her eyes for a second, attempting to 'find her center' and put herself into homeostasis, a sense of balance. She opened her eyes and made a handseal, molding the chakra into her hand a third time. "Much better," she said to herself.

╚══════.♥.═╝She released her chakra, satisfied with her results. She only had two more successes before she was done, and she was determined to get them. She loosened her body and made a handseal to mold her chakra, but the chakra failed to mold into her hands. Come on... you can get it... She strained trying to surface her chakra, but it didn't yield. She let out a gasp of breath and her face returned from pink to its natural color.
She took a few breaths, to let her breath catch back up to her. She was almost done, how hard could it be? She was excellent at anything with chakra, but she was having a bit of difficulty. Maybe I'm making it harder than what it is... She made the handseal and didn't do anything beyond that. Maybe if she made the seal, the chakra would come naturally? Nothing happened and she knew she was wrong. She released her hands and gave a mental sigh, Well this bites.

╚══════.♥.═╝Miyako cracked her knuckles. She was going to finish this exercise if it was the last thing she'd ever do. She formed a handseal and released her chakra into it. It almost surprised her when her chakra actually molded in her hands. She could feel the tingling sensation in it. She knew why. Her chakra's main element was raiton. Lightning jutsu would be in her future, and she would incorporate it with her puppet techniques. She already had a few notes written down...
She released he chakra flow and removed her hands from each other. She stretched out her fingers and reformed the handseal, expecting the same result. Of course, nothing happened and he tried forcing it to come out of hiding, but she was only straining the muscles in her face and making herself warm again. She stopped what she was doing, realizing that the chakra wouldn't come by sheer force. she sighed, Why does it have to be so difficult? I should be a pro at this!

╚══════.♥.═╝Her patience was starting to dwindle. She should have finished it already and she had already tried forcing it, and doing nothing... what else was there to do? Call it? She made the handseal and tried focusing Chaaaakra? Can you hear me? Please come... please? She sounded ridiculous in her head, and there was no way she was going to call out loud for it. She didn't want to be labeled a loser for trying to physically call her chakra to work. Of course, even saying it in her head made her seem like a loser anyways. "Come on! I just need one more success!" she said to herself in between clenched teeth.

╚══════.♥.═╝She made the handseal again, in a small rage. She was determined to make it work and when she went to mold the chakra, it did. She contemplated why it worked now, and not the previous times. She couldn't come up with an answer and so decided to leave it alone for the moment. She would learn soon enough. For now, she would move onto the next task given her and pass that until she was out of the academy. She wiped her forehead, glad that the work was now done and she could cool off.

 The boy was simply ecstatic at the prospect of finally beginning to use jutsu. Immediately, thoughts of all kinds of fantastic and powerful jutsu he'd read about swarmed in his mind, and the boy's total attention had been captured by the day's lesson. Of course, the first thing Masaaki would have to do was learn to mold chakra. His father had mentioned the skill before when he first introduced the boy to chakra and jutsu. Apparently, the boy had an entire network of chakra pathways that worked their way throughout his body and were essential for vital organ function. However, with proper concentration, trained shinobi were able to release chakra from certain points in and on their bodies that enabled the use of jutsus. This chakra needed to be molded specifically for the jutsu to be used, so Masaaki decided that this would be an essential for his training, and what better place to start?
"Alright! I'm gonna get it down!"
The boy set his feet shoulder width apart, and clasped his hands together for a starting stance. He closed his eyes and began to visualize the various channels that carried chakra throughout his body. He then attempted to focus his attention on a single point, just above his stomach, and attempted to concentrate and mold the chakra he had collected there.

As the boy concentrated on the point just above his stomach, chakra slowly started to accumulate and soon Masaaki was mentally viewing a mass of collected chakra, exactly as he was hoping to produce. Of course, this was the raw physical and spiritual energy from within, unsuited for immediate use, so the boy began to compress and mold the energy into a power source for his jutsu. He didn't really have any idea what molded chakra was supposed to feel like, so the boy decided to attempt to mold the mass of chakra for use in a Katon jutsu. It took a few minutes to figure out exactly what to do, since he hadn't really any idea of how to mold chakra previous to now or how to know whether or not he had accomplished the task. But sure enough, when the boy felt like he had successfully molded some chakra, he opened his eyes, looked down, and felt the point above his stomach.
It was warm.
"Alright, yea! I got it!"
The boy's exclamation hadn't seemed to attract the attention of anyone else, so he thought perhaps repeated success would at least gather some praise from his sensei. Determined to succeed with this lesson, the boy again took stance, closed his eyes, and concentrated on molding chakra at the point just above his stomach. Since he'd gotten a general idea of what to feel for, the boy attempted to recreate the feeling of molded chakra, and began to compress and change the raw energy into a useable power source for his jutsu. Masaaki didn't try to change the nature of the chakra this time, as he felt confident he didn't need to give it obvious characteristics in order to determine whether or not it had been molded properly. It came slowly, quicker than his first attempt mind you, but in time the boy again succeeded in molding his chakra for suitable use.
The boy tried a third time, and was again met with success. He attributed his repeated triumph to the help his sensei had given him. Masaaki approached the young woman, of age not too much older than himself, bowed and thanked her for her assistance.
"Doumo arigatou gozaimasu. I will continue to work my hardest."

╚══════.♥.═╝Seeing as the teacher hadn't given them another assignment, she reached into her ninja pouch and pulled out the book on the puppet technique. She cracked it open and realized she had forgotten to place a bookmark where she left off, she thumbed through the pages and couldn't find the spot she was at last.

Kugutsu no Jutsu (Puppet Technique)
Just like a marionette, the user controls a puppet using strings of chakra from his fingers. Another useful quality of this skill is the fact that the puppet can take the form of another person, object, or, more commonly, the form of the user. Puppets are fitted with various hidden devices, most commonly extending blades, various projectile launchers, and poison, both in gaseous form and liquid coating their weapons. See the "Puppetry" thread for more info. This technique can also be adapted to control humans as if they were puppets, or another puppeteer's puppets.
Cp cost: 2 cp per round the puppets are used.
Requirements: Puppet Play 3, Chakra Control 10
Training: 2 stages
Stage I: Puppet Play DC 15 Familiarization with the art of puppetry.

Stage II: Chakra Control DC 20 Combining puppetry with the usage of chakra strings, which are stronger, but less flexible until high control is achieved.
Special: Must master this technique before attempting to fight with puppets.

Hp: 8, Cp: 2, MHp: 8 Walking slowly towards the school, Jackie was very energetic, as he had lived on the outskirts of town not doing much of anything except physical labor. Jumping up and down a lot he made his way to the academy slowly. Laughing to himself a lot he kept jumping up and down slightly as he walked. "Wonder what this place is like, I remember what pa said but i dont think i need these items." He was speaking to himself as he was referring to his kunais and smoke bombs. "wonder what it is like here," he kept muttering as he had gotten to the building being completely oblivious to everything else. Looking up Jackie had whistled as the building was huge in his opinion. "damm..." he had muttered as he looked up with a hand over his eyes a bit to see if it would help him see the top.

Raku had just got into the village this very day and he instantly started to run towards the Academy, with his favored book in his hands. He couldn't wait for his first day of training. His parents promised him that it'd be great and he was hoping his parents were correct. As he took his first steps into the academy, he looked around in wonder. This was the first academy he had ever visited.
Raku walked around for a few minutes, not sure of where to go. He was hoping perhaps a sensai would be able to point him in the right direction or another student could help. He wrapped his arms around his book tightly and started to walk around until he could find a sensai or student.

Naharu was already running late for his first day at the academy, yelling greetings and apologizes that faded as he dashed through the streets.As he approached the academy he notice a young kid nervously waiting outside the academy. He was about 9 or 10 years old which could explain his coyness. He approached him quietly and patted is head playfully. Hey kid, do you need some a bit.. Burdened hey said with a slight smile.

Raku shied away from the other boy a bit as he patted him on the head. Rake then pulled his book closer to his chest and held it tightly as he tried to work up the courage to speak to that other boy. After a few minutes of thinking he finally managed to work up enough courage to get something out. "I-I...I was l-looking for the a-academy." Raku was quite nervous and it showed in his voice as he spoke to the other boy.

Naharu felt a bit insulted as the kid back away. It was obvious he must be uncomfortable right now,as he had clutched his books tighter.
Naharu looked the other way as he offered his hand and nodded at the building on there right.My name is Naharu Hirosami, this building to our right is the academy. You can follow me in if that would help you out any. But you gotta be alot less timid if your training to be a shinobi.. he with an unchanging expression.This kid was pretty young and as long as he wasn't the rowdy type he didn't mind helping him out.

Raku went over all over the possibilities of how this could pan out. After a couple seconds of thinking of what he could do he looked at the boy named Naharu. He nodded at the boy but, didn't take his hand. "T-thank you. I-I'm Raku." He smiled gently, it wasn't a friendly smile, it was more of that he was able to talk to someone with out running away. "I-I'll follow y-you. I-I just g-got in the village." He informed Naharu.

yeah its a task just getting into the village, and its my first day at the academy as well.Lets get going before we make a bad impression with the sensi. He said with his hand placed on his chin. Naharu entered the school glacing around at the emptied halls. Ah.. I guess I am late.he thought to himself. He took a quick glance behind him to check to see if Raku was behind him and continued on to the nearest class room and entered.Excuse us sensi, we are both new to the village and had abit of trouble getting here. Naharu gave a modest bow and and took a nearby seat in the middle row. He glanced around to see what the other students were doing. Everyone seemed to be working on their chakras..execpt for one student who seemed to be practicing with a puppet justu.I guess I should try the charka control.. It seems pretty simple from an observational point..
