The power that had invigorated her seemed to disappear all of a sudden, and Pasiphae could not stop a rising sense of sorrow as she listened to Benitoite's words. Part of it stemmed from her lasting guilt at having lashed out at him; she had known better. She had known he was human, like her, underneath the aura of negative energy. Now, she might have lost him forever, would never be able to reach him again and allow him to see how the Negaverse had twisted his mind to believing in them. She didn't even try to avoid the blow from the paintbrush to her gut as the paintbrush was raised. On some level, she deserved the hit, even as it made her side ache all the more and forced her to take a step back to catch her breath. Ganymede's angry shouts only added to this sorrow, and tears began to roll down her cheeks. Now, everyone was in danger--Ganymede because she had called him, the Negaverse Captain because she had not been able to reach him... the civilians because of what both parties of humans had done and worst of all... the giant youma continued to exist, to mock them with its existence, even as both sides fought. The thought only made her sob, and she struggled to get a hold of herself, to find that spark that had led her to fight in the first place... but at the moment, all she could do was sob as her teammate and the Negaverse captain fought. [Roll = 2 = SORROW]

((Roll 1= Steven Roll 2= Eunomia))
Steven suddenly found his panicked running around like a chicken with it's head cut off strategy costing him a lot of energy and he flopped down to catch his breath. Doing so led him to take a moment and reflect, and the creeping, strange emotions that came with it.
Where was his crew? Obviously avoiding him. Or somewhere better. Probably. Nevermind the fact that he hadn't exactly gone about looking for them in a very productive way. And in the meantime, the people who managed to die got to float around in glitter clouds. Stupid senshi got magical powers and what about him? Just a meat sack to be squished at any moment. Everyone had it better than him, it wasn't fair. And so he found himself uncharacteristically sitting there like a spoiled child, green with some sort of weird envy for just about everyone.
Eunomia yelped when poor ********* ended up knocked around, but at least had the sense to catch the poor cat. She gave her a few soft strokes before gingerly obliging her request to be put on the ground. Normally she'd have some qualms about that and maybe cling to her like a stuffed animal-- for her safety, of course-- but finding Irene and Hygeia seemed like a good idea. It'd at least help them all find each other instead of wondering where the others were.
So after that, she stood there and sort of just gawked at the giant youma, too much of a derp to really think she had any chance of attacking that thing. The seeds of jealousy went just about unnoticed. Whenever Iris was around her perfectly normal jealousy was already in effect.

Europa was about to say something, except - No. that wasn't right. None of this was right and she was seventeen kinds of useless. The senshi staggered backwards, out of the range of the Fluorite's swords but into the range of her own misery: not only was she ten kinds of useless, she was an idiot with no friends and a ******** up social life.
All of the Basterds hated her and soon all of the Jovians were going to hate her, too. Why even bother? She staggered, barely keeping on her feet, and certainly not willing to go back and fight Fluorite: what was the point? It wasn't like she was strong or anything. Useless, useless, useless... couldn't even save Leto. It was like the only thing she had to do ever and she couldn't even do it.
Big, fat tears rolled down Europa's cheeks.
She didn't even thank him. Babylon stared at the powder-blue senshi's retreating back, stomach churning. Of course she hadn't thanked him - no one ever thanked him. That was why he never did anyone favors, because everyone valued everyone else besides him so much more.
He looked at his lantern and realized how much he hated it.
He looked over at Hesperis, with her giant ******** bo-staff, and he wanted it. Babylon stomped over towards the Page, ignoring what she was doing, quite intent on taking it from her.
Keren was jealous of everyone with powers and everyone who was still on earth and people who weren't here and people who had taken warm showers any time in the last two weeks. She was even jealous of little starving children in Darfur and dead babies and terratomas and other things that were never really alive at all, because at least they weren't here.
And she cried some more.

((Themis, Fluorite, Alunite, Hesperis, Naica.))
...Why was he even fighting ?
Really. Why was he ? They'd all abandoned him. They all hated him. Europa hadn't talked to him in months. Bellatrix had felt distant, lately...
Really... Why bother.
The sorrow was impossible to fight for someone who had gone though so much, lately.
And then it got worse.
The shapes grew bigger, larger, and Fluorite couldn't focus anymore - she just started screaming like if someone was going to gut her, and took off running.
It was no use - the visions followed.
What was this bullshit ? Really... Was he the only corrupted senshi here ?
Why couldn't he be like them ? Why couldn't he be a general ? With a nice, strong weapon ?
UGH.
"Stop running like a p***y !" He yelled at his sister as she passed him by. She was too busy screaming for her life to comment.
He would ******** show them, damnit.
Yeah. Hesperis went flying, crashed against some of the leftover rubble... and went still.
...Why couldn't he be like them ?
They were all fighting, all brave, strong, so very brave... Why couldn't he be brave, too ?
Why couldn't he be good like them ?
Jealousy was like poison, infecting his mind, replacing the ever present fear - and when he saw Hesperis crash not so far away from him, he knew his chance.
He went toward her, took her, and rushed off. He'd show them he could save people, too !
Hesperis is out of this battle permanently !
Naica is gone just long enough to get her somewhere safe.

Sorrow.
It enveloped her, made her chest ache, a wet sting coming to her dark eyes. This was a war, and she expected, even desired, to see the enemy destroyed.
But they were fighting for earth, and humans were a part of that. The sight of civilians, buried beneath rubble made her throat tighten.

With a grateful nod, the feline trotted off, but not before thinking to herself Why did the Negaverse have to come and mess things up again? Her fur frizzed up slightly, but the cat then shook it off before continuing along her path.
Sailor Iris noticed the slight change.
She simply noticed because she did something she rarely did. She thought.
Even worse, she thought about failure.
What if the senshi did not win?
Stubbornly, she shook her head while pinching her eyes shut to shoo away the pessimistic thoughts. When she opened her eyes, she turned to her teammate who had her mouth open slightly.
"Eunomia! Stop drooling and start fightin'!" With that, the more experienced of the pair rushed forward.

Sugilite is feelin' sad.
Sugilite watched attack after attack slam into the Great Youma, and a strange pain pulled in her chest. She frowned, and gripped it tightly. What was it? She couldn't say, only that she hadn't felt like this in a long long time. It churned her stomach, and she tried to push it aside, focusing on the fight, ignoring the lump in her throat. Her smile began to falter.

((Emotion Roll; Bellatrix, Natalia, Bismuthite.))
Bellatrix really should have known that size really did matter, and her abilities were nothing when it came to something so big. The Youma didn't seem to give even the faintest sign that she'd done anything and it... The Youma started taking in a deep breath, and all Bellatrix could do was feel a twinge of sorrow. These poor civilians...they should have never gotten mixed up in this. It was so sad. So, so sad. And here they would all die. Because the senshi had failed to protect them.
--
Natalia was doing her best to duck and dodge in to safety. She didn't even try to assist the senshi. She knew she'd just get in the way. In the way. They weren't even supposed to be here. The senshi had been taking care of them and trying so hard to find a way to get them back home... For some reason Natalia started thinking about all her fellow civilians that took it for granted and made it hell for their senshi protectors. It made her angry. Natalia wasn't aware that the sudden boiling of anger was due to the youma, but it did bring to light the more negative feelings that she had been ignoring up until now.
She clenched her fists, set her jaw, and then finally;
"AAUUUUUUGH! DAMN IT ALL! This is all a mess! What is this fighting even for!? Why did we ever end up here!? Why do they have to put their lives on the line for us!? Why do we even matter!? THIS IS MADNESS!? SENSLESS! AUGH!"
----
Bismuthite was fighting one on one with a senshi when the feeling struck him. Nostalgia, sadness... It started out easy enough to ignore, but gradually it came to consume his mind, and his fighting was getting more distracted to the point the senshi had knocked him to the ground.

It was really hard to miss a massive monster... thing terrorizing the Surrounding. Really it was, as much as she wanted to avoid anything that happened here as much as possible. The first whale was horrendous, managing to avoid the other attacks and the invasion was a godsend.
This though. Roxy couldn't and she knew the other colored pirates had to be here somewhere. In the least, she felt herself better dressed for the occasion and really as a pirate that the crew had declared themselves as. Leo's Outpost had bitchin' coats.
It would have been better of there were decent weapons though, besides rock and rubble. Easier to defend each other with as he blonde went and dodged as much as she could to find her friends.

((Maia is sad, Eliza is scared!!! ))
Maia knew this was coming. She had seen it too many times not to know this was coming. It happened far to often especially it seems i the last few months and so it wasn't utterly surprising when it happened. She took to the battle trying to rid the surrounding of the monster that shouldn't have ever made its way there.
Though it was weird in the past few moments she felt sad, she tried to push it aside, but it crawled to the surface giving way to things she did not want to think about about and it was not time at all before she had tears streaming down her cheeks and was sufficiently distracted.
This was good, not at all, how could she fight if she couldn't stop crying.
Eliza had mostly not known what to do with herself despite what happened with the spider and the fish. Two battle, but they were nothing like this. Eliza found herself dodging attacks left and right, despite she thought them not being aimed at her. She wanted to help, at first, but her thoughts gave way to fear. Fear she had not really felt to strongly her whole time here.
She trembling, her knees buckling as she sank to the ground and tried to scamble away. Wide eyed and frantic. Her breathe coming in quick pants as she tried to calm herself.

[Roxy = fear Hygiea = fear ]
It was that deja vu feeling all over again when the breathe of a monster washed over as battle went on around her. And Roxy found herself filled with that pitiful emotion that had struck her the last time.
Fear.
Her hands balled into fists as she clutched at the opening of the yellow jacket she wore, gripping the fabric tight and around her enough for her knuckles to grow pale and white. The blonde let out a shuddered breathe, as if she were cold, as her eyes felt like welling up with tears.
Not this feeling again... not this feeling again. She took a few steps back, trying to find some place to hide.
-----
Sailor Hygiea had been late, as usual, distracted by the many things that was the Surrounding. Even though the older senshi had wished for even her and her other chibi companion to have an escort, the little girl had skipped off to do her own thing and enjoy the sites.
But a big HUGE Youma was like a beacon in the night and an obvious place to go. And hey, in all her searching, maybe she would even finally find that damn purple cat she had been looking for since she got here.
Or at least her team.
And she would have been more than happy and content to go find where the rest of her team went until a mist of emotional charged air filled the scene, engulfing and screwing with emotions with everyone.
Sailor Hygiea was filled with something she wasn't really used to. Sure, she was still a nine year old girl, but she had seen a lot of things and was rather much of a dare devil. But it washed over her like a sand storm and the little senshi couldn't help but feel her breathing hitch and fear just fill her being.
The first thing, against all nature, that filled her thoughts was to find a place to hide - the better thing would be, again, to find her team to ease her fear and all but that's not what she was thinking. She weaved through the courtyards, trying to find a nice patch of rubble and debris that could be a good place.
Ideally, there would be one but unfortunately there was already a body hiding within and Hygiea literally tripped into Keren when she stumbled upon one area in particular.
"eeeeeeeee."
