After his tears stopped, Jake stayed in his position for just a little while longer. He was dismayed, as he knew there was no way he could ever leave this place. If he had remembered right, he was supposed to stay here forever. Whether his family left or not, it didn't matter.

The water temperature in the hot tub was scalding, but because of Arc's wold powers, he could stay longer with out burning up. He wanted to forget his troubles as he soaked and was a little surprised that his dinner was brought out to him. He had no clue that he had been in there for three hours or so but when a maid tried to tell him about Jake's current condition, he silenced her and sent her on her way.

Jake wasn't sure how long he had been laying there. Two to three hours maybe? All he knew was that his back was starting to hurt from being curled up so much. Straightening out, he picked up his abandoned book and tried to study just a little bit more. He was sure he had yet another quiz or something on the next school day, so he had to be prepared.

Arc tied his bath robe closed and left the hot tub gazeebo. Ignoreing Jake as he entered the bedchamber and proceeded to his spacious closet to change into his pajama's. If the boy didn't study, there was going to be a heavier punishment. He lit the incense again and waited.

A familiar smell filled the room and Jake instinctively held his breath. Though he had yet to know what this smell was, he knew that it was one of the last things he remembered from the day before. It had done something, but be just could not figure out what.
Soon, Jake felt his lungs burn for oxygen. He had to breathe, but what of the strange smell? In his mind, it registered as something dangerous, and he dreaded its effects.

Arc lit another incense, this one could mask the smell of the previous, it was a sweet honeydew smell that would make ones mouth water. Arc was always several steps ahead and knew how to turn things around. Of course he only needed to be three for it was easy to read Jake.

At some point, Jake could no longer hold his breath. When dark spots began to cloud his vision, he took in gulps of air, trying to cleanse his lungs of the carbon dioxide that had built up in there. He hardly took notice of the new smell in the air, as he was only focused on trying to take in as much air as possible.
When he was finally aware of his surroundings, he realized that the strange smell from the night before was gone and replaced by a sweeter smell. But he hardly had the time to be relieved when he noticed that he was losing feeling in his body again, just like the night before.

Arc picked up the going-limp body and carried Jake to the bed, stripping him of his cloths. This time he'll make Jake feel way more than losing his sense of mind. Jake lay facing up at Arc though his head was turned to the side.

Once again, Jake could not think straight, but he knew from a sudden draft that he was bare. He wondered what he had done wrong this time, but he said nothing. His mind began to wander away, just in desperation for something to occupy it from some horror he was sure would come.

Arc took him three times that night, he had rolled over onto his side, back to Jake again but this time he was too tired for his body to shift, only his ears and tail were present, that was as far as his shift could go. Pure exhaustion let him fall asleep instantly.

Once again, Jake felt a dull pain, three times in fact, each worse than the one before. He guessed he had cried out in anguish a few times, but he was not sure. Most of his mind was somewhere else, perhaps going back to the nightmare as if it was better than what he had just gone through.
Miserably, he attempted to curl up once again, only to feel an excrutiating pain compared to before. "What did I ever do to you?" he whispered in sobs, repeating the words a few times in a row though he knew Arc would not hear him. Eventually, tired from what had just happened, he closed his eyes and fell asleep.

Arc rubbed the back of his head, there were only a few times when he was so, so tired that he would start a shift then end it. He glared at himself in the mirror, though the current ensemble wasn't cut out for him, the ears and well...the tail too. He could manage a shift portion and wanted to try and focus on his wings. He was still trying to master it. He willed his starting shift away thought that was easy as a snap.
Jake lay sound asleep in the bed, the incense had burned itself out again at one in the morning.
(I have an idea, Jake stirs at three cause he couldn't sleep and plays with Arc's tail and ears for amusement. Being cautious not to wake the dead sleeping Arc. lol, p.s. makes Jake fall more in love with Arc. )

(I'll just edit this post and you can tell me if there is anything that still needs changes. Sorry if I keep misinterpreting what you're trying to say.)
After having finally slept, Jake had opened his eyes after yet another nightmare, though it wasn't as terrible as the other. This nightmare was merely a reliving of his witnessing the previous master's heart attack. Jake had been so scared then when the man suddenly fell to the ground and was clutching at his heart in pain.
A shudder ran through the servant's body. How was the master doing now? Was he in Heaven where he deserved to be? If he was watching over Jake and Arc, what comment would he have about the happenings of the mansion after his death? So many questions filled Jake's mind that he knew could only be answered if somehow he met his master again.
Suddenly filled with a mysterious curiosity, Jake turned to face Arc, who for some reason had wolf ears and a tail attached to him. The servant, through childish instinct, soon found himself touching one of the ears (not so much that Arc would notice), faschinated by how they twitched. Almost immediately, his sadness was chased away, his heart skipped a few beats, and he managed a small smile.
Jake played till he grew tired, nestling right into Arc's body for the massive warmth he gave off and fell asleep.

(Uh, well......you could edit your latest post.....hmm.....My previous post was when he woke up, you could since the time he wakes up to the nightmare to the time he is still asleep as mentioned in my latest post. )
