Yori frowned and laid down without another word. The night was a cold one and he took out the blanket that he had ripped in half and gave it to Lydia before going to sleep.

Lydia sighed, wondering if she should've kept quiet after all. She fell onto her side, hugging the small blanket close. "Good night." she murmured, falling asleep quickly.

The next day Yori woke up and looked over at Lydia remembering what they had talked about last night. He touched his hair lightly and covered his eye with the other hand; wondering what he would should do. His heart ached to find his sister and he fought back tears, he would be strong. He had gotten soft over the years and needed to toughen up. He had to be strong for his sister and Lydia. He stood up brushing the dirt off of his clothes, his body ached from sleeping on the ground for two weeks in this adventure. He thought about saving the world, him, lydia and yamato. He smiled at the thought of people talking about the old myth of the three warriors. Yori looked up at the sky and saw a spirit floating by on a cloud, he looked at it. This was his only chance at getting information and he was determined.

Lydia woke up not too soon after, seeing Yori staring at something in the sky. She yawned lightly, behind a hand as was polite, and looked up as well. "Do you want me to bring him down here?" she asked quietly, starting to wake up mentally. The spirit could know where the king had gone.

Lydia quickly drew the cloud down the spirit very shocked and afraid of the strange force taking him off his course. "He's all yours, Yori." she said quietly.

Yori walked up to the spirit with a stern look. "Answer my questions and you'll be set free. Where are all of the other spirits?" The round chubby spirit looked at him nervously before answering "They're back on Earth creating havoc before Doomsday." "Where are we?" "Gehenna, the world where all of the spirits tend to live." "What is De'Yuril planning on doing? Where is he?" The spirit looked at Yori like he was crazy "Why should i answer that question?!" "Because i'll purify your @zz if you don't!" Yori snapped lightly. "Now answer the questions." The spirit paused as if contemplating on whether he wanted to be purified and spoke "De'Yuril is planing on ruling the Earth with spirits, devils, and demons. I don't know where he is." Yori pointed his staff at the spirit and started chanting. The spirit then became nervous and blabbed out the answer "H-he's underground. There's someone else with him too." Yori crained his head in confusion. "What do you mean he's underground and who is he with other then the girl?" "There's a secret hidding spot for us spirits and i doubt that i'll tell you." Yori let the staff touch the spirit as it cried in pain "Alright! Alright! If you can solve the riddle then you'll know where it's at." "Screw riddles, tell me where it is and who else is with De'Yuril other then the girl!" "I only know the riddle, i'm forbidden to go to the hide out." "tch, tell me whoes with De'Yuril." "Some guy he took when he was in the woods a while back, has black hair and dark eyes...actually he resembles you quiet a bit, except he's less talk and is a spirit." Yori stood there wondering who it could be "Give us the riddle." "Below your feet is where the ground lays. In the hills is where you'll find it." "Tch, don't play games with me!" "I'm not! That's the riddle! Please, don't purify me!" Yori glared at him "You proved yourself useful. Next time we meet you will be an allie, unless that is, you finally lose your mentality." Yori grabbed his backpack and started walking, thinking about what was told to him. "Did any of that make sense to you?" he said waiting for a reply from Lydia

Her stomach was filled with knots and her skin went blanche. "I... I think... The other man with De'Yuril..." she said quietly, remembering perfect images of Ren. "I think that the riddle means that we have to go to a valley or hills of some sort. We should continue following the same general direction." she siad instead, not wanting to think of the possibilities of meeting Ren again. She wondered about the riddle, seeing that it was a bit too simple to just be hills.

Yori looked at her puzzled as she staggered with her sentence and agreed when she had said it would be near mountains. "If we find a mountain or a hill we might find it under out feet, i think that's what it means." He looked straight ahead seeing two mountains up ahead then looked back at Lydia. He knew what she was thinking. "You know he said that the guy was a spirit now." He said trying to read her expression "If he's on their side, i'm going to attack. If you decide not to join, then i will automatically assume that you apart of my journey anymore and will leave you behind. Do you understand what i am saying?"

She closed her eyes and nodded, walking a bit faster now. "I cannot choose him anymore. He is lost. He has been lost." she said, almost as if she had said it before. "Let's check around those mountains next. We must save Yamato before De'Yuril takes away her life. We mustn't delay." she said, almost running now.

Yori looked at her, his gaze not wavering. He understood her words, but he wondered how much of it she was willing to believe and if she would follow through with it. Saying something is entirely different then when it actually happens. He kept up with her pace as they approached the mountain. When they had reached the bottom Yori started jumping to see if they heard a different sound, but there was nothing. "Tch, if what that spirit said is total B.S. ima flip!" He said irritated as he lost balance he leaned on a rock, pushing it in as though it were a button and they fell onto steps that lead underground. The top slid closed, leaving us in the dark. Yori snapped his fingers as flames engulfed him. It was his power so it doesn't harm him, he can also control who it hurts. As he stood up cautiously he helped Lydia up and started walking down the steps, his heart in his throat. It was quiet, but seemed loud to his ears. Moments later he heard the echos of someone talking. "I knew i could count on you to have a second batch going!" It was De'Yuril who spoke. Yori held onto Lydia's hand and turned off his flames as he hid in the dark to observe. The room was set up like the last encounter only there was a new addition. Yori gulped as he guess that the other contraption was for him. De'Yuril was sitting and there was a spirit with him who looked like the explanation that the Chubby spirit had given them. At first Yori thought he was looking in a mirror, but saw that he was a bit manlier. "Ah~ Ren, just wait until your other half comes. You'll finally be able to use your powers to your potential and add to the massacre of Doomsday!" Ren's spirit seemed emotionless, like a part of him was gone, his eyes a blank stare. Yori wondered what De'Yuril meant by "other half." but he didn't bother to wait. Yori barged in ready to fight "Sorry, but i'll be cancelling doomsday." De'Yuril looked over pleased "Ah~ you finally came! I thought it'd take you longer. Ren, there he is." Ren looked over at Yori. Yori stood there, a sweat drop rolling down his cheek. "Don't rush into battle." Yori whispered to Lydia "Relax would ya." De'Yuril began "Let's go over somethings." Yori didn't waver as he still stood in his battle stance while De'Yuril talked "I'm going to take your sister's life. You will stay there like a good boy while your spirit watches over you." Yori was confused when De'Yuril said this and dropped his guard a bit "What are you talking about?!" "My minion over there is part of you. You hurt him and you take equal damage." Yori stood there not knowing what to say. He had to be playing with him. "Once i take your sisters life i shall transfer your spirit back into your body. You will recieve your full extent of your powers and react to your sisters power as it slowly kills you." Yori took a step back, completely off guard now. What would be their next move?! What would they do to save Yamato?! To test out De'Yuril's short story he ran up to Ren, not believing it until he had experienced it. Yori threw a ball of blue flame at Ren, intending it to only hurt Ren, but when it had hit the spirit Yori fell to his knees in pain. Now he knew how the spirits felt when they were struck. He was a bit dysfunctional as he stood up clumsily. "What do we do know Lydia?" he asked softly.

She took a deep breath. "He thinks it's only you... but... I'm here too..." she whispered quietly. "If whatever damage he takes happens to you, then the same thing will go vice-versa..." she said, trying to think of a plan. "He has everyone accounted for except me. I'm the missing piece. It might be up to me." she said quietly. "I can't attack Ren if I want you to live, but De'Yuril, he's my target now. You, pretend to surrender. I'll attack when he least expects it." she said, hoping De'Yuril hadn't noticed her as of yet. She backed away into the shadows, ready to use her spells. She couldn't stop staring at Ren, wondering if there was a way to do this other than going right for De-Yuril... What if, they could use Ren against his own master?! But... how? Lydia did not have the answer.
(( OMG we are doomed XD I dunno how to do this ))

(lol theres always a way smile )
Yori heard Lydia and dropped to the ground in defeat. Yamato woke up from her unconsious state and started screaming "Yori! No, Yori, don't give up! You can't!" he heard her starting to cry and clenched his fists 'just wait until Lydia's made her move.' he said trying to ignore his sisters pleas.

Lydia stayed in the shadows, sneaking around the room until she was behind the king. She started chanting a spell under her breath, so silent that no one would hear it. Yamato's pleas helped cover the sound. After a moment, Lydia's hands were glowing bright red, and her eyes shone brighter. She ran up to De'Yuril and punched him with both fists, toppling him over. She quickly retreated to the shadows, so when he turned around suspiciously, he saw nothing. She then started to move objects, starting with Ren. She flung the spirit at De'Yuril, causing him to cry out. He believed that Ren was the one attacking now, but didn't know how to fight him. He needed Yori's powers too. Ren punched and kicked, elbowed and tackled, until De'Yuril was cursing out loud. His spirit shone lighter now.

De'Yuril shouted "What is wrong with you Ren! What are you doing?! You said you wouldn't resist!...That's right, you guaranteed that your spirit wouldn't fight back, you came willingly! Are you saying that everything you told me is a lie! Now that your other half is here you're starting to rethink things through?!" Yori got to his feet, he had been chanting while Lydia was attacking and he was ready to give De'Yuril the full taste of his power, that is, until everyone heard a beeping sound. De'Yuril smirked as the pumps turned on, sucking the life out of Yamato. "NO! Yamato!!!" Yori gritted his teeth and attacked the king, but he dogded behind Ren, making Yori hit himself. Yori screamed in pain as he fell to the floor. "Damn you!" Yori ran up to De'Yuril and started attacking at close range. Ren stayed close, so Yori couldn't do much of anything without hurting himself. Every attack he threw at him, the king would dodge. "Tch, enough of this! I'm going to use my ultimate attack!" Yori looked up at Yamato "I'm sorry Yamato, if i don't make it, make sure you take care of Lydia." Yamato's eyes watered up "Don't you dare use that technique Yori! We don't know if the story is true or not! Don't do it! You came to save me so that we could be together again! Don't do it!" Yori painfully ignored his sister. When he started chanting he was speaking so fast that it just sounded like a bunch of gibberish. De'Yuril looked hesitantly at Yori, not knowing what to do next or what would happen. Yori opened his eyes. They were as blue as his flames and he was also covered in his flames as his staff turned into a sword, his flames taking place of the metal blade. He could extend the blades however he wanted. horizontal, vertical, long, short and diagonal. Yori started attacking as soon as he was able to use his weapon, he knew this phase only lasted a short time and needed to weaken the king before his power blew out of proportions. Yamato was starting to lose focus of her eyesight and became less active. Yori knew he had to end this soon. He came straight at his opponent, phyciking him out and sliding through his legs, cutting both of them as the blue flame blade moved horizontal. He jumped up and moved to the side quickly to hit the king, but he moved and instead, hit the machine that was draining the life out of Yamato. De'Yuril sneered at him "HOW DARE YOU!!" he said outraged "You'll pay for this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" Yori merely extended his flame sword and stuck it through the guy, but only lasted a short moment, not long enough to purify him. Yori's powers shut off all of a sudden as he landed on his knee's, his sword turning back into a staff. Yamato slowly put together the puzzle pieces, trying to figure out what was happening by now and started crying out Yori's name. Yori held his chest, scratching it, ripping his shirt in the process. He gritted his teeth at the enormous amount of pain that had finally come across to him. He grunted trying his best to hide the pain, as he lay on the floor. De'Yuril looked down at Yori "Guess it's time that you pass. What a shame, i was hoping i would combine your powers." Yori smirked at him "This will only hurt me for a moment, you're the one that's going to pass. It'll only hurt the spirits." he said, the room blowing up with blue flames. He screamed in pain as his own spirit was being hurt, but it never vanished. Ren walked up to Yori, as if unphased, and sat beside him, both of his hands on Yori's chest. Yori screamed out more in pain, his eyes watering up. When the flames had ceased De'Yuril was purified, while Yori lay on the ground with his spirit hovering over him. He looked fragile, worn out, and had a sad facial expression. Yamato cried as she tried getting out of the container "Let me out! Let me out damn it!...Yori!...Let me out!" she screamed
