Cady gave Willow, then Bea, appraising looks. Squinting, she shook her head in dissent. She was pretty sure you couldn't eat ghosts, so she didn't really understand their concern, but she attempted to allay their fears anyway.

"What would be the point of being on the same team if I eat you?" she added reasonably. With that settled, she turned to listen to Bul's reply. Crevices? Cloaks? Stranger danger? What?

At the mention of Nurse Cricket, she felt the need to pipe up. "Oh, I don't know, it looked kind of fun, getting eaten. And it wasn't permanent. And you came out all glowy." She wondered if there were bonus points for glowmanship. She gestured at the disheveled building and added, "Besides, I don't think there will be any big holes in there - why would you put a house over a hole? That would just be. Silly."

Cady was an expert on silly.

'I am warning you that this is a trap to get any students.'

Those ominous words spoken by the school secretary to Profressor Red not too long ago echoed in Mandys head when she heard the announcement over the ickycom. At the time she hadn't known what to think of that half heard discussion, but with another field trip? Oh she could guess very well what was going to happen. And she was not happy, not at all.

Really if she was smart she'd just stay back at school, it wasn't like it was compulsory. But.... it was only a guess on her part, a well educated one by the previous two field trips but still just a guess. And against that guess stood the fact that many of her friends where going and this was at a boogeyman training facility. That was like.... her dream.

So when Barth had asked her to keep an eye on Claire, never mind the ghoul was Year 2 whilst Mandy was still Year 1, and then Claire had offered her a place on a team she'd accepted. Who knew maybe this one would go alright.

Yeeeeeah and she was the Pumpkin Queen.

Snorting sarcastically she hitched her backpack higher as she trudged her way towards the classroom. She was running a bit behind schedule because she'd been packing and repacking to try and fit as much stuff as possible, you could never be too preperared.

A few minutes later Mandy found out you could be as her bag was practically torn apart by gnomes rooting out all her weapons and chocolate. She spent the entire grueling experience wincing internally and wishing she'd known about the rules, her backpack was half empty now! She could have fitted so many other supplies.....

Sighing a dejected Mandy stepped through the portal, eyeing it in slight trepidation from her memories of them as she did so. What on earth would they need one of these for....? The last one had been for use in emergency esca-

Oh.

Mandy stood breathless as she came through the other side. It- it- it was the human world. Her eyes gained a suspicious sparkle as she looked around in sheer glee. This was where they Scared, where they gathered Fear. Mandy didn't care if the rest of this trip went down hill, this moment made her year.

Mandy nearly missed Professor Red's speech because of her lateness and awe but hearing the dismissal she immediately set about to spot anyone else in her team. That was at least one good thing about their ridiculous uniform.

There!

Weaving her way through the other students to the only other chicken shirt wearer she could see Mandy called out, waving. "Hey!" as she drew closer Mandy could see that it was clearly a boil and quickly racked her brain for his name, there was only one on their team after all.

Thankfully she was spared the embarrassment of trying to remember his name when an another chicken shirt wearing student ran up shouting his name. This one she did recognize.

"Yuki, Astra. I'm Mandy. Either of you pick up the pills?"

Claire didn't get what all the fuss was about. Why was everyone so scared and angry about this field trip? Claire had packed well. She'd gotten all sorts of long-lasting food, clothes, and toiletries. She had to look proper. Her chicken shirt was slightly worn due to Claire's excitement and eagerness to wear it everywhere, but it had no holes and Claire had washed it thoroughly for the excursion. With a goodbye to her beloved pets, Claire gave her self a quick look-over in the mirror and headed out the door, her neat ponytail bobbing behind her. Following the trail of students, she arrived at room 207 and placed her bag down, waiting for someone to check it as she filed her nails. A particularly grumpy-looking gnome took the nail file from her, not to mention the sugary foods and eyepod she'd thought would be a good idea to bring. Claire found it most uncomfortable wearing her miniskirt around someone so short. She just crossed her legs and kept a very close eye on the gnome. Once she'd been approved and convinced that she would get the confiscated items back, she stepped through the portal to a weird land.

bag stuffffff

1. A rather large amount of long-lasting bread and rice as well as some dried spiders
2. Toiletries
3. Extra shoes
4. Sketchbook
5. Water, lots of water
6. A book

Stepping out, Claire was confused.

This place was brighter than usual, and it had a weird, pleasant smell. Claire tilted her head for a moment, taking it in. She then did weird baby steps to a patch of free ground. Perhaps she thought that the ground was going to break. It felt different to normal, anyway. Maybe that was all in her head. She stopped to listen to Red's... speech. She saw Yuki grab the pills before Astra and Mandy joined him.

"Hello, team. Hello, Yuki, I'm Claire." she said absently, looking around.

Whisper had thought long and hard about what to pack for this trip. This one seemed to be different from the last, but she had definitely become more aware of the essentials to surviving. Hopefully the others in her group were smart enough to pack useful items, as her backpack couldn't fit everything she felt they'd need. She ran her hand over the sturdy bag and looked at herself in the mirror one last time. The glowing suit was rather...tight, but it fit her quite well. She wasn't used to looking like this, but she liked it. It made her feel like a bad a**.

With a final glance over everything she closed the bag and slung it over her back. She was ready for this. She would not be as weak as she was on the last trip, and she would protect her team with her life. Especially because Natalia would be there. With a deep breath, she left her room and headed towards the designated area.

Whisper's Backpack

x 1 first aid kit [some basic bandages, medical tape, safety pins]
x 1 spare clothes
x 2 large water bottles
x Basic Toiletries
x 1 sleeping bag
x 1 baggy of jerky
x 1 small flashlight

The inspection seemed to go smoothly, as there wasn't any delays. She had been worried that they wouldn't let her take the first aid kit, but she was given no trouble. The next step was the portal. Whisper was excited, nervous, and terrified all at the same time. Things could go so wrong, but she had to trust that they wouldn't. It was quick, she didn't even feel it. One second she was at school, the next in front of a large house. This place was different, the sky wasn't her sky, it was far more amazing. She continued to walk, even though she was entranced by the surrounding, honestly not really paying attention to where she was going. Out of the corner of her eye she caught the sight of glowing blue, and she knew instantly who it belonged to.

Whisper ran and tightly hugged her lover around her waist from behind, burying her face into Natalia's hair. It was so soft and fragrant, like rubbing her face on the finest silk. She was worth any hell that Whisper might have to endure here. Every single damned second of it. "You look so fantastic, I'm glad we are doing this together."

She then noticed the others and waved, the excitement of seeing her sweetheart still overtaking everything else.

Lattice was anxious but mostly for the obvious reason that her sister wouldn't be coming with her this Field Trip. Needle had to go back to the Manor and it took a lot of coaxing and talking to get Lattice to attend the fieldtrip like the ghoul had promised Lizzy she would. Tugging at her skirt self consciously she made her way stalled only by the wait that needed to happen to get through the portal as they went through her belongings in her bag. The Engraver's lips pressed into a thin line as she watched them go through her belongings.

In The Bag
1 - Thermos of Tea
1 - vial of ink
2 - Pens
1 - Journal sketchbook
1 - Shampoo
1 - Deodorant
1 - Toothbrush
1 - Toothpaste
1 - Set of her usual outfit

She watched and waited to see what would be confiscated hoping that the ink and pens would at least be left alone everything else she could live without if she had to. Once the bag was given back to her she wandered through the portal to try and find her teammates. Anxiety ran wild with her almost making her want to turn and go back through the portal but she made herself stay facing forward her eyes shifting through the mass of dark shapes as they moved around until eventually she found a familiar pink color amongst the grouping. Lizzy's pink ink vial! She gravitated toward it her steps quick though she stumbled a bit not used to the shoes that Lizzy had coaxed her to wear.

"I...I'm here!" Lattice called out softly.

Lizzy was tugging Vieve around, not quite sure where the rest of the group was; she had notified them to get into the uniforms for easy identification, but even then, it was difficult to locate just one student out of so many… Thus, she was grateful to hear the soft greeting of a familiar ghoul, although she had almost missed it thanks to the noise generated by the throngs of excited students around the area.

”Lattice! Hi!” She greeted happily, letting out of Vieve’s hand only to turn around to give the engraver a hug, glad and touched to see that Lattice had even put on the adorable uniform, although it must had caused her a lot of time and effort to not tear it up. In her excitement, however, the needles in the ghost’s arms had slipped her mind. As she tried to pull Lattice in for a hug, her hand scrapped on one of the needles, prompting a yelp from her as she held her own injured hand by the wrist with her other hand. Her gaze lingered on the wound across her palm as well as the bright red liquid trickling out before she looked up with a sheepish smile, ”Uh… Lattice, this is Vieve. Vieve, this is Lattice… Be careful of the needles.

Great advice, Lizzy.

"Greetings Lizzy," Lattice said her tone becoming a little more chipper now that she had someone familiar close by slowly she was starting to relax as she leaned briefly into the hug but she didn't return the embrace for obvious reasons. While she wore the outfit that Lizzy had asked her to it was a bit of a challenge to get it on considering the needles in her arms but she'd managed it! Despite precautions Lizzy had gotten hurt and a frown pulled at her lips. "Lizzy," she whined slightly, "we are off to an ill-fated start already."

She turned her attention to Vieve then and blinked a little behind her mask her pout disappearing as soon as it appeared, "Greetings Vieve. I am pleased to make your acquaintance."

Dying, death and pills; this was what Amityville's training was like? It seemed like Holly and West had been through this befor- and then Holly was jumped. What ever sort of critter this was, she seemed to know Holly. Her eyes went wide at the automatic clinging, wondering if this was indeed a fellow student or... a youngin'? The ghoul spoke, but it was in a sort of accent she hadn't heard before; couldn't be a relative. West had used a name or at least called her something...so he also knew her? The tatzel hadn't noticed the particularly long face on the wrath demon. Holly had echoed the same thing; must be a name. Savior? Friend 'a yers? She looked to the newly identified ghoul and then to Holly, and then back again. Ain't seen ya before 'round campus. She smiled at the ghoul thinking a friend of Holly's was bound to be good fun. Name's Levi. Pleasure ta meet'cha! She didn't seem all that aware of where she was and Levi didn't blame her. Wherever they were, it wasn't somewhere she'd been before.

The pills. Right! Lifting the flap of her canvas bag, Levi carefully placed the three pumpkin pills in a zipped up pocket within one of the sides, enclosing them for safe keeping. Second chance? Eh- probably best ta keep 'em in 'ere then. If they think I'm dyin' in some rowdy rile u-...

Wait.

...was West being helpful just then? She slowly turned her head toward him...

...and stared.

This lasted until the wheels creaked back into motion in her head. Okay. He had said something that wasn't snarky or violen- then he opened his mouth again. Oh, it was on. The tatzel wouldn't dare withdraw from a challenge like that. Bet I can put 'em all down faster than ya. A hint of a grin developed and her tail rose and curled into itself. He was strong, yes, but she was confident enough in this wager given their past experiences. She could take whatever he could hopefully. His edge in this case was that he'd been through this sort of field trip before by the sound of things. Levi was very new to the concept of a field trip.

Aurian held her breath as the strange dragon ambled along Vaith's arm to inspect her right back. She'd never seen anything like it - it appeared to be made from a strange outline of some kind, not a solid being. But it still moved like a living being and - she realised, as it jumped over to her arm - was sentient. She hadn't missed several of the same markings on the boil's costume. A magical link that bound them together? Or something less artificial, a natural ability, perhaps?

"I'm so glad I came to this school," she murmured, red eyes flickering between Vaith and the dragon on her arm. She had to adjust it to bear the slight weight of the familiar, not as heavy as if it was a solid creature but still undeniably present. For all its strange appearance, it was clear that the creature was still very real. "There are so many wonderful things to learn here." And only a very few were being taught by the staff.

She straightened at Seiji's question. She hadn't spotted Mai's telltale white ponytail or forehead seal in the crowd. "I'm sure she'll be here soon," Aurian said. "Mai organised this, after all. She'll be along."

After all, Mai had said she was very much looking forward to seeing Aurian in the outfit Mai had picked out. Looking down, Aurian considered her cleavage - more exposed and more impressive than usual. Not on par with Mai's heaving bosom, of course, but Aurian thought there was nothing wrong with emulating a ghoul she admired. It was cute of Mai to want to dress the others up like herself, Aurian thought. After all, what other motivation could the ghostly ghoul have had to have dressed them all as scantily as Mai herself?

"I'm Aurian, by the way." A pink flush covered her cheeks at very belatedly remembering her manners. "I, er, don't know if Mai actually told you all that or not."

Holly had forgotten how light Savior was. During their last infernal trip the other ghoul had only done this once to her and she'd only seen her to this to one other. She would have shook her head but it was a bit difficult due to someone perched on her head. She'd have to at least try to introduce the others, again for the boil. Holly pointed to West. "That's West." And then she pointed to Levi. "That is Levi." Maybe she'd get that? "We are, uh, in the human world, on a trip like the island." Then again she probably couldn't even recall the island. Oh well. She looked to Levi. "Savior doesn't seem to remember much and tends to wander, probably why ya never saw her."

She crossed her arms as she watched West turn away from her. Was he jealous some how that Savior only knew her? That or something because he was actually talking to Levi, almost normal like. Odd. Maybe they wouldn't try to kill each other during this trip? Seriously she didn't want to explain how two of her friends went missing. Holly took a few steps so she was standing next to Levi, there, West had to look at her and Savior some. She wasn't gonna let that go. "Of course there is something trying to kill us, wasn't the last trip like that?" Something did kill her then too. Freaking holes.

"We only get the three, so maybe we should each hold one?" Holly had a nagging feeling that one person in charge of them all wasn't the best idea. She rose a brow as she watched the exchange. "Bet I can kill more of them then you too, boil." She was there too after all. Awesome way to treat friends, if he was going to ignore them for the moment, who said she needed to act fully civil? "I am a knob now after all, too."

Circe had only just heard of the field trip that was to come and found herself more excited then zombie stuck in a graveyard. As she looked a few monsters ahead of her to see what exactly was going on she watched as her teammate Rain grudgingly took an air freshener and put it in her bag before going through the portal. In fact, several others had air fresheners put into their bags which made Circe curious as to what exactly was on the other side that they needed to smell fresh for. She shrugged it off and re-checked her own bag for it's contents in a attempt to make sure nothing had jumped into it while she wasn't looking.

Bag o' goodies

Toiletries
First aid kit
Extra clothes
Thread and a needle
Four large waterbottles
10ft rope
Flashlight and a six pack of batteries

After she was done checking she found herself urged forward by a student behind her. She quickly stepped forward and found herself one student away from going through the portal. Once they went threw it was her turn. As her bag was checked and cleared she was told to continue. Wow! Circe thought to herself with excitement. Oh how she was excited to go on her first field trip with a bunch of strangers she didn't know. Well, that wasn't the highlight of the moment but oh well. Circe jumped through the portal and found herself on the other side. It only took a moment or two for her to realize that she was now in the human realm. This realization literally made her skip into the group of students forming.

As she listened to Red's speech she found herself slightly confused. Why had they been so tight lipped about this? What exactly was going on here? Circe found herself holding these questions back until a later time, figuring the answers would show themselves soon. After the large group of students dispersed to their groups Circe found herself alone. So far she had zero friends, but maybe that would change soon since she was getting close to her group members. After all, what was a queen without her subjects?

Rain appeared literally out of the blue with the three pumpkin pills and within minutes Sheridan made his appearance. How had she missed him in the crowd and line up? He was probably one of the tallest students here and surely the most well, purple. Sheridan seemed like a cool boil, which she thought stemmed from his fascination with the cosmos or whatever it was he had said. She honestly couldn't remember. He was on a whole 'nother wave link from her and she was more or less content with this realization. Rain on the other hand was more outspoken. Wow. Her group was made up of some diversity. Well maybe that would work to their favor.... Right? She smiled pleasantly to both of her teammates before looking at the students swarming near by. "I have a feeling this is not going to be a walk in the graveyard." Circe said to Rain, looking for some sign that she at least knew what she was doing. She had been on one of these field trips before right?

Maritess was horribly late. Or rather she hoped she was horribly late to the point she would not be allowed to participate in the field trip. She was still having nightmares and flashbacks to her time on the Boat and then on the Island. Thankfully, this time, there would be no boats on which she would end up semi-molested and traumatized by.

But that wasn't comforting enough to the winged ghoul. Adjusting the strap to her bag once again, Tess glared ahead and hissed, "Slow down!" She was, of course, talking to her lower half, who had run towards Room 207 as soon as allowed.

Legs paused, canting her waist at Tess before kicking back with her personalized sneakers (she'd decided to wear sensible shoes to the trip because, really, she wasn't trying to impress anyone on the team) and running ahead anyway.

By the time the winged ghoul passed inspection and caught up with Legs, she saw the others on the team had arrived. Tess still had no idea how she managed to end up on a team where Lizzy wasn't. She only knew the fairy reaper Astra in passing and knew of Claire and Yuki on Groanspring (maybe she should unblock the gluttony demon by now?). Mandy was, of course, one of the candidates during the SC elections but beyond that, Tess never had any direct interactions with any of these students.

A tiny part of her now wished she could sit this one out. Or change teams to be with Lizzy or Levi (the tatzel ghoul had saved her during the Floresctival Haunted House after all). But Legs, ever the leap-before-you-look sort, really didn't give a ******** she didn't know ANYONE here as she practically hopped from one student to another, nudging them with her hip as a way of greeting.

"Ack! P-pardon Legs, please, she's... she's very excited and happy to meet you all. U-um, I'm Maritess, but please call me Tess. I-I think I know all of your names, but just to be sure, um, you're Astra, Mandy, Yuki, and Claire, correct?" she clarified, pointing to each one when she spoke their names. "Sh-shall we compare what we brought and decide who should keep hold of the pumpkin pills?"

Maritess may be a Second Year as well but she certainly didn't act like it. Legs, on the other hand, had begun to tug at the bag her winged counterpart brought.

Edel was one of the later students to arrive through the portal, having run late as she had /just/ made it back from the maul where she purchased .....clothes that were more suitable for the field trip. The frost demon was silently panicking as she eyed the crowd that had already gathered. How was she going to find them -

And there they were, Lizzy with the long pink hair and well, Vieve. There was also another ghoul with a head of long black hair that she could only assume to be the last team member – Lattice. Well that's a relief.

Slinging her moderately-sized backpack over her shoulder, she slowly weaved her way through the crowd towards her team mates. There was a momentary pause as Edel caught sight of the boogeyman in a cape reminiscent of frost, though she quickly turned away as the boogeyman turned around to face her.

Arriving in front of her team, Edel muttered a soft and distracted “Hello” before stealing another glance at the boogeyman. Something – nevermind.

The Vetala was blissfully unaware of Lacie's confusion; if she had, she probably would have done nothing more than apologize. Sure she could have taken off her left hand and held it out for her (oh how she loved being a patchwork now!), but she imagined her limbs would be falling off anyway on this trip; it would be a shame to lose one so soon, and without Christof to help her stitch it back up properly.

Then, there was someone in her bubble. There was someone in her bubble. A mostly-stranger. The boil who had just barely outlasted her in the Battle of the Bands. Suddenly in her bubble. With no warning or prompting or Oh Jack what was he doing?! Did she look like she needed a hug? She didn't think she did but she must have because otherwise why would a mostly-stranger get so close and stay there and aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa...

Wait. WAIT wait wait. Did she forget to introduce Remi?! She did, didn't she? Oh JACK she was terrible! Maybe the half-hug was an attempt to remind her?

"O-oh! I'm so sorry! Uhm, E-everyone, this is Remi, he's in Year Two, like me!" As if the differences in FEAR level wasn't an indication. Whew, there, Remi was introduced. Maybe now he'd let her go! Though she did lean against him and back a little, not because she wanted to be closer or anything, but because she learned from her sudden acquiring of breasts that it didn't take much extra weight to make her topple forward, and it would be embarrassing for them both if she went down. So far, Remi had yet to put his weight on her, but just in case...

Okay with that done, now to figure out the rock-paper-scissors! Oh Jack why was this a good idea, again? Her brow furrowed, staring intensely at the extended hands. Okay so...Lacie beat her, and Raz beat Xiu and Remi beat Raz so...oh hey, this actually kind of worked out! That was great!

"U-uhm...I guess...Remi, Raz and...Lucy--NO LACIE Lacie I'm sorry, uhh, Lacie gets it. Remi, Raz and Lacie." Nervously wide gray eyes surveyed the group, assuming the pills would just go to the winners.

"S-so...! Everyone feel ready to go, uh--" Fight for their lives? Get the FEAR scared out of them? Probably die horribly painful or sudden deaths? No no, neither would be good to say. Uhh... "--train?"

Roch shook it off. "Yeah, jack, I forgot to get the seeds. Moure, you get them, and you carry them. Since you're the fastest in the group you can get them to who needs one the quickest, and we'll just make sure you don't die," he said simply.

"They took most of my stuff," he admitted, pulling a pretty empty bag off of his back. "Including my phone. Jackdammit, I swear they were picking on me especially. Hah, and Fang says hi, my a**," he added darkly, digging through his depleted supplies.

"A couple of sandwiches, a bag of chips, a pound of jerky, three bottles of water--sorry Danny, I do drink the stuff, an extra can of ATTAXE spray deodorant, hair spray, extra shampoo, toothbrush, toothpaste, rope--"

He paused, pulling out the ATTAXE deodorant. "We got a couple of these for a reason," he said. "One I'll explain when the boogies aren't staring at us curiously. The rope might come in handy for that, too, now that I think about it. Also--"

He pulled out a handful of small plastic tubes made into hoops. "Glowstick bracelets," he said, tossing them out to the others. "You have to snap them to get them working, but it might come in handy. Or they might just be useless, but hell, they're glowsticks!"
