So, how is this idea compared to my other attempts at vampire roleplays?
I like it! [Thank you very much; I'm happy to hear that~]
Meh. Mediocre, as always. [To each their own.]
This idea is bad and you should feel bad! [I choose to feel jubilated instead.]

Zen parked his motorcycle near the entrance to Vice. Pulling off his helmet, his black hair cascaded down his face. A small grin tugged at the corners of his lips as his blue eyes focused on the building before him. This was the place he heard about from his band mates. They coaxed him to visit the place and talk to the owner to see if it was possible to play there. Zen knew it would be worthwhile if they were able to. Just standing outside looking at the place was thrilling enough so he can only imagine what the place looked like on the inside. Holding his helmet he walked up to the door, hearing the music pulsing from the outside.

Once in, Zen glanced around and admired the beauty of the place. He glimpsed over to the dance floor and watched bodies slide against one another in what he likes to call ‘the mating dance.’ With a small chuckle he made his way to the bar and in habited a seat, waiting for the bartender to come over.

Out in the very middle of what Zen would call the 'mating dance', Marie and her three friends were having an absolute blast. There was nothing like loosing yourself to the rhythm and letting it take control of your body. After a few more dances, her friends felt like they needed another drink to hold on to their buzz. Marie tagged along, but after the wine rain checked on having another anything alcoholic. She had a meeting tomorrow after all with Anya and Neil and she didn't want to have to nurse a hangover.

On her way over to the bar, Marie noticed Mahlah as it was on it's way out. She looked at it curiously as it was carrying out what looked like a bag of dog food and some water. Nonetheless, she waved in the direction of the strange person, but she didn't think that it saw her. When at the bar with her girls, Marie slipped herself up into one of the bar stools, and ordered herself some water, just for the sake of having something to sip on. Looking around the bar, she couldn't help but notice the rather attractive man sitting by the bar as well, apparently waiting to order a drink. She sent him a playful little wink before getting back to sipping on her water and waiting for her friends to get their drinks.

As Zen was waiting to asked the bartender if the owner was in, he noticed a few girls coming from the dance floor. Once he received the wink from a beautiful girl, he couldn't help but give her an almost shy smile. He glanced around again and noticed a girl caring 'Dog Food?' Tilting his head to the side, causing his hair to slide over his eyes, he focused on her and wondered what was going on. Brushing off his curiosity, he stood up and waved towards the bartender to come.

Once the bartender came near, he stared at Zen with a little annoyance, obviously do to waving for his attention. Zen smiled anyways and spoke loudly so he could be heard over the music, “Is the owner here?”

"You really must teach that child some manners. Or teach it how to be more appetizing, so I can just eat it the next time he acts out." Neil respected his mistress' desire for him to be more tolerant of the dhamphir, but a subordinate acting out like that... "If a servant disrespected me like that, I would have dismissed them on the spot."

Only the insane have strength to prosper...

Mahlah

Walking down the street, continuing its way towards the place where it's food lay, it was still rather broody about what happened in the presence of Anya, a glaring set of eyes focused on one of it's hands. It knew of the 'taint' of its blood, if it were any other ranking in the vampirdom, then it would have been a god among mortals... if it was a human it would have been taken pity upon and possibly given a half-ways decent life in this day in age. But as it stood now, it was something of a bother, it woundered why the Origin kept it around for so long? Did it bring some sort of twisted amusement for her? Or was it because she liked feeling superior around it? It knew that Neil was the later -Chaos Curse his soul- and it was wanting to make something of itself. It knew that feeling sorry for itself wasn't going to get it anywhere, still... what did one do when something crippled one to the point where it could neither move forwards or submit to the past? What did it mean to be a half breed? Was it a curse of vampiric blood, or a curse of Human exsistence that made it so vile? It had heard of Hosts being treated better than that of the Dhampir, and it made Mahlah worry that if Marie was to be sired by the b*****d Neil, that it would once more drop a run and eventually even Marie -who had treated it nicely without any prompting- be turned against it because it was more favoured from the clan or perhaps even the influence of Vitae. Would it be better off human, or would it be stronger to embrace a vampiric nature that it locked within itself? Was there a way to transend its own blood and become fully one or the other? Who was it? What was it? Mahlah's head was starting to pound heavily against it skull as it was trying to figure things out, it was lucky that it wasn't like some of the other Dhampirs who had been born stupid, but that meant that it was prone to madness and insanity. Which was the greater curse, it wondered? To be ignorant of the possibilities around itself, or to driven insane by it?

Humans facinated it, they were so ignorant of the world but so many held such hope and promise within them. Some chose to embrace such uniqueness and others chose to let themselves fade into the background. Some where willing to go through hell itself to achieve their ambitions and others still were content to serve those types of people, all the while becoming bitter and resentful of those same people who they served. It could relate to the later, simply because it had trouble achieving the ranks of the former. Vampires were nothing sort of monsters, having to feed off of others to maintain themselves and mimic the unlife that they feel. It existed somewhere in between, but where was its place in the grande scheme of things? Was it doomed to serve those it resented all it's life or would there be a reward if it worked hard enought towards those ambitions? What was its ambitions?
Mahlah had reached his destination by this time and moved over to a huge rock where it took a seat and set out the numerous dog dishes, filling half of them up with water and the other half with the dog food that it had brought. Bringing up its fingers to its lips it gave a shrill whistle that bounced off the boarders of the junkyard. There was a few moments of stillness before a literal stampede of dogs came charging around the corner. Barking and yipping happily at being brought food, all of their tales were wagging happily. Even after the initial dust cloud settled, there was a smaller dog who hobbled closer doing its best to keep up. It was something of the runt of the litter who, as Mahlah assumed, was born with a withered leg. It had overcome its disablement with flying gusto and moved forwards like a champion. Mahlah was tempted to give it to Anya as a present, it was sure that she would find it amusing for its ability to overcome adversity. Mahlah made sure to save the straggeler food too, not that such a bag ran the risk of being devoured all in one night. One of its favours was a huge Mastive that seemed to be the leader of this gang of stray dogs. it didn't know what to call it yet, but perhaps it deserved something akin to a king.
It had time ot think about such things... as well as many others.

"I will, I will." Anya assured him in an almost dismissive way. Mahlah could be amusing when he wasn't being all unpleasant with his obsession with the number four. "I'm just not going to kill little Mahlah any time soon. I'm not going to beat him for acting like a true Casaviran, either." Anya shrugged, sitting herself back in her chair and leaning back before she continued, "We can't afford to. We're a clan of three for the time being, and the death of any one of us, especially me, puts us in a position that we can't afford to be in. I can't let myself become pregnant with the next Origin in such conditions, either. More than anything, we need to focus on bolstering our ranks - even if that means siring another consort and making a bunch of dhampirs to fill the ranks."

Marie giggled softly, unheard over the roar of the music when she saw the shy smile. Shy boys were so fun to tease. The mischievous side of her mind wondered if she could make him blush by the end of the night. Unfortunately though, it appeared that her friends had their drinks and wanted to pull her over to one of the small tables off to the side. She hopped down from her stool, but before she left, she blew a kiss at the man, watching for just a moment what his reaction might be.
After that moment, Marie followed her friends back to the table with their drinks. She sipped on her water while she waited for them to finish up so they could get back to dancing. All the while she looked around the club, every now and then glancing over at the man at the bar.

The bartender turned on his heals and walked towards the back. He knocked once on the door that lead to Anya's office. “Visitor boss... looks like another wanna be musician. Want me to get rid of him?” he said through the door.

Zen watched the bartender go to a door and speak. He couldn't quite hear what he was saying, but Zen had a inkling that it was about him. 'Maybe I was a little to forward?' he thought as he sat back down and glanced around. He caught that girl smiling at him then making a kiss face. Zen chuckled a little and winked back at her. She was very adorable and stunning. He watched her walk over to a table with her friends and continue to have a good girls night out.

"A musician, you say?" Neil loved the arts, if only because the truly talented ones, the ones who couldn't care what others did, that only wanted to create, were so much easier to manipulate and profit from than, say, a normal person, unless that normal person had won the lottery or something.

Only the insane have strength to prosper...

Mahlah

Mahlah was enjoying itself, despite the conflict and war that was bubbling inside of it from the earlier encounter with Anya and Neil, as it tried sorting these thoughts out, it heard a car approaching, the muffler was gone from it and the sound shattered the quiet tranquility of the moment that it was sharing with its friends. All the dogs attention seemed to be drawn to the vehicle that was approaching them. The engine turned off with a dull roar and a gasping sputter. Mahlah retuned to its thoughts for a moment more until the creaking sounds of an old door interrupted them once more and the staggering sounds of footfalls coming from behind it. It could smell booze off of the drunk slob as he came forwards, mumbling something about ‘those damn dogs’ as he went. There was a pause and Mahlah could hear the contents of liquid hitting a bottle. Mahlah turned its head over its shoulder to see a pudgy man in a stained white tank-top and grubby blue jeans staggering over with a riffle over the crook of his arm. The man had clearly been drinking heavily for days, judging by his stubble. The man was an older man too, he looked to be in his in his middle ages, grey and white was starting to creep into his balding head. He took a few steps forwards and looked up, seemingly started but the appearance of Mahlah.
“Whodahellareyou?” He slurred slowly. “…Ish a girl too. Pretty little thing… look girly, thish ish my junkyard and… and I want you to get loshed too. Beat it, girly.”
Mahlah glared at the man for a few moments as he fumbled with the bullets to put in his rifle, it knew better than to get involved in an altercation with a mortal, it was forbidden unless it had a good reason to. It was technically on his property too. Slowly it stood up and fetched its dog food, bowls and empty pail that it used for water. It wrapped its jacket a little closer to it and began to walk away. All the dogs got up and started to follow after them. The drunkard suddenly mumbled something, startled by the loyalty of the dogs as they shifted away. Mahlah stopped when it realized that it was being followed, it waited for the little hobbled dog before scooping it up in its arms. It didn’t like the old man, and was more than happy to give these dogs a temporary home. There was an angry slur that Mahlah didn’t pick up before the sounds of a gun calking.

There was a clapping of thunder and the sounds of yelping. Mahlah turned its head over its shoulder to see a couple of the dogs dead and a few others lashing around and gnawing at buckshot wounds. Mahlah’s eyes went wide, though its pupils shrank within the whites of its sclera at the sight. A few of the dogs scattered and those who had been shot had succumb to their wounds. It was the last straw to a night that started poorly. Its vision started to fade to red and its senses dulled and narrowing in focus while the feeling of rage and unbridled hatred built. The colour that it had in its skin literally drained into a paled flesh of its vampiric heritage. The veins all over its body turned black, spider webbing its network around the gender spliced body while the pupils and iris disappeared fully into the sclera, the blood vessels around the corners of its eyes staining black as well. As Mahlah entered the frenzy, its vampire blood overshadowed it, the overriding of rational though with the violent and uncluttered instinct of the vampiric taint. With extended fangs and a fierce image, it launched itself at the vaguely human figure that was fumbling with its weapon, screaming at the face of what was going to be a very bad encounter. The mans screams were cut off by a howl that was nothing short of being blood-freezingly inhuman.
