STAGE 1 GO! ((attempt 2))
Coming back again this time, Levi didn't look Jericho in the eye. That was a damn shame of a mistake. She would not make that same mistake again (she hoped). So far so good; as she had before, the way to the first platform didn't differ. She did as she had before and got there in a timely fashion.
Don't let it get to your head.

STAGE 2 START! ((attempt 2))
Taking in a deep breath, Levi continued on to the chains. With a swing and a wiggle, she was over to the next and down again just as before.
Now it was time for the ladder again. Don't take it lightly... Taking the pole, she shuffled her way up and THIS TIME- she made it. In triumph, Levi held the pole up to the rail of the next task, but she hadn't held it still enough to consistently roll down. One end falling off the rail, she fell down and out of the Slider drop.

STAGE 1 GO! ((attempt 3))
The first part of the course went just as the two before it. It seemed she was getting used to it. Trying to keep her pace up, that first platform was within view again. She hadn't done it quite as quickly as her previous attempt.

STAGE 2 START! ((attempt 3))
This time, she was able to get the ladder and the rail down. Thunking down on the landing pad, the next obstacle in view looked to be a complicated climbing feat. This looked promising for the tatzel and she took to it like a skitter. This way and that, inside and out, she wriggled her way to the Metal Spin. It proved difficult to keep a hold of those while in a spin, but she managed and moved on to the Wall Lift. The next platform was within sight and the hefty last wall went over her shoulders and then over her head.

STAGE 3 BEGIN! ((attempt 3))
Getting through the Rumbling Dice, she considered her run in with the pole earlier and took care to keep as straight as possible while minding the gaps in the track. Once that was passed, the Devil's Steps were up next and they also required her upper body to work through it. Step by step, she was going to get to to the next part of the trial which was... jumping from bar to bar. Applying the same tactic she had for the Chain Reaction, it was a matter of swinging back and forth to get the force for sailing forward to the next bar.
It was a good thing her upper body was a highlighted area for her. In natural form, she lacked legs and depended a lot on the strength of her arms. With this factor in consideration, it became more apparent when she was able to go through these strength challenges swiftly. The Arm Bike and Cliff Hanger tested her arms, hands and fingers to the very tip while she edged over to the Gliding Ring.
Bouncing and wriggling down the line with both hands clutched onto the Ring, she made it to the end platform. Tail swaying happily, she return back to the outer area to watch the others pass through. This might be good to practice in. Truly, she hadn't been fighting as much as she usually did at home.

STAGE 1 GO! (Attempt 1)
As promised, Hel was back again.
She rolled up her tunic sleeves, tucked her wings against her back, and then got to work with a determined expression. The valkyrie was going through it pretty strong! Until she got to the second to last obstacle, and failed it miserably.
The ghoul climbed out of the pool, and then stomped back to the starting point once more.

STAGE 1 GO! (Attempt 2)
Okay, so the first run was just easing herself back into it, that’s all!
Hel huffed as she finally managed to get through the first stage. The valkyrie stretched, her brows still furrowed in a determined expression as she stomped her way over to Stage Two. She had to conquer Terror Warrior. She just had to.

STAGE 2 START! (Attempt 2)
The reaper’s mood seemed to pick up just a tad as she managed to complete the second stage without incident as well.
It didn’t matter how well she did each obstacle. All that mattered at this point was completing Terror Warrior through any means possible. The victory now wouldn’t be how well she did it, but the fact that she did beat it. Hel let out a breath as she stomped her way over to the third and final stage, daring to feel a bit…hopeful.

She…failed the third stage. On the first obstacle.
As Hel sunk into the pool, the reaper stayed under the water for a long period of time before resurfacing. Her brows were furrowed, and the faint appearance of a vein throbbing in a temple could be noted. She stomped her way back to Stage One.

STAGE 1 GO! Attempt #1
Nope, this kind of thing was definitely not Xiu's forte. The fact was that the little Baku was, in general, not a very physical ghoul in the first place meant that she had a lot of concerns about even attempting this course. Even so, here she was, as ready as she would ever be to take on the stages.
Which was to say, not ready at all.
Still, she decided to give it her best shot. When she was allowed to begin, Xiu started forward, somehow managing to overcome to first trial without too much difficulty. The rolling log hadn't been too bad either (though she was rather dizzy by the end of it), though the next three...
Well, she had managed to pass, but just barely. The jumping skitter had, in particular, been a tough trial to get through. It had taken her a great deal of effort not to slip and fall, but she had managed to hang on.
By the end of it? Xiu was already exhausted and panting, trying to take a couple of seconds to catch her breath before heading onto the next stage.

Here she was for the third time today.
Once again, Hel swept through the first stage with little to no trouble. After pressing the timer once more, she leapt from the platform and stalked her way back to Stage Two. Oh Jack…

STAGE 2 START! (Attempt 3)
She fell from the second obstacle on stage two.
Hel belly flopped into the pool below, and once again, did not surface for a long time. She was not an aquatic based student though, and eventually had to surface. The reaper climbed out of the pool, and stood there for a long moment before glaring back at the stages threateningly. This wasn’t over. She’d be back tomorrow.
And the day after that, and the day after that…however long it took to win.

STAGE 2 START! Attempt #1
Xiu panicked her way through this whole stage.
Starting from the very first trial, the Baku knew that she had signed herself up for something that she shouldn't have when she took a look at what exactly she was expected to do. It took all of her effort not to flee and quit right there--somehow, she managed to work up enough courage to reach up and take the chain, taking a deep breath as she jumped and let it carry her down to the next one. The only thing keeping her from closing her eyes was the knowledge that she would have to grab the next chain if she wanted to continue.
She managed to get through it, somehow, but the trials only went downhill from there. Her worst attempt yet was the Skitter walk, where she found that she was having a great deal of struggle trying to keep herself from falling. She just didn't have the strength for these kinds of things!
...Ironically, though, she somehow managed to pass the trial, and then even the wall lift trial at the very end of the stage. Strange how that worked out!
Okay, two stages down, one more to go!

STAGE 3 BEGIN! Attempt #1
Well, this made no sense.
The little Baku was not strong--not by any means--so it was only logical for her to be apprehensive about the final stage. Not only that, but her arms were already quite sore from her previous few attempts--how she had miraculously gotten through them was a mystery to her.
The fact she had gotten through the last stage was a mystery too.
Xiu stood on the ending platform, blinking blankly as she rubbed at her arms and realized that...holy Jack, she was done. She had gotten through it all! Even the arm bike, which had been both tiring and terrifying at the same time! To be honest, she was actually awfully proud of herself for having--somehow--gotten through all the stages. It hadn't been easy, but she had done it!
...And now she was never going to go through that again. Ow. Ow ow ow.

STAGE 3 BEGIN! [ Run 1 - Stage 1 ] [ Run 1 - Stage 2 ] [ Run 1 - Stage 3 ]
Jack damn it.
Colette barely held on to the Arm Bike and savored the last moments of her Stage 3. She had made it through the Rumbling Dice okay, and the Devil Stairs and Jumping Bars went well, but the Arm Bike? Nope. The ghoul didn't have anymore strength left.
Especially after lifting that 110 pound wall earlier. Who knew she could do that?
Whimpering at the impending failure, the Reaper tried to pedal but slipped away following the stinging sensation in her arms. Maybe next time she would wear less. Yes, that sounded like a good idea.
