"Well." Laci said standing ankle deep in the water. "From my prospective, being an average person, this view, right now is breath taking." She said backing up she went to the shore and pulled off her dress, she had on what amounted to bikini bottoms and her chest was wrapped. She had clearly been planing on a beach trip.
Now improperly clothed Laci trudged into the water and much like the king had the night before she turned and fell back into it laughing.

Avarossa had to case down the little girl. "You're putting on the dress!" She snagged and brought the girl to her bedroom, holding her still as she got her redressed.

The king could only smile at the woman as he watched her fall back into the water. He smirked and began undressing himself, leaving only his tights on as he entered the water again. He took to her side in the sea and reached down to take her hand and pull her up, "Come here, you. I had no idea you'd be such a fan of the water."

It was time to start screaming, and that's what Afsana did. And that's what she was in the middle of when her father entered the room.
"What's the matter child? I'm sure Karmea can hear your screaming.What's wrong?"
"Daddy help! Help!" The little girl began reaching for her father as she screamed, "She hurting me!"

Laci laughed. "I do like it out here!" She said standing up with him once more. Now, Laci was used to playing with the children, her younger siblings, so you can imagine she had a bit of a childish nature. Smiling Laci fell back once more, and began kicking her feet wildly in the water, splashing all in the direction Nihl was standing.

Avarossa rolled her eyes and let the girl run to her father. "She doesn't want to put on a dress." She said walking over to Grigori "You would think I was trying to kill her."

Nihl just covered his face from the water and waited until the storm had passed before he began splashing water back at the girl. He then stopped, dipped underwater and came back up beside her, splashing water all about.

"It certainly sounded like that." Grigori bent over to lift his daughter into his arms, "Is Mommy being mean and making you wear a dress?"
Afsana decided to play victim and gave her father a sad face, then looked up and sniffled slightly, "Yes."
As he was Daddy, he couldn't help but lose the battle, "Oh come now, darling, can't she wear what she likes? She'll have a whole lifetime to dress up in dresses and look pretty, won't she?"
"No. I'm gonna be a warrior." Afsana told her father, "Like Daddy!"
He laughed, "Darling, Daddy's not a warrior. Matter of fact, I'm not much of a fighter at all. I can only fight for you and for mommy." He nuzzled her nose with his own, "Just because I love you so much!"
The little girl squeaked with joy and continued to laugh hysterically before she grabbed her father's face with her tiny hands and kissed him on the nose, "I love Daddy. And sometimes Mommy, too."

Laci squealed and dove under water swimming off a great distance. She surface an turned to find the king. She smirked and stuck out her tongue. "Naaaah!" she swam backwards. "You can't catch me!"

Avarossa saw her daughter work her husband like clay. Her daughter was young but had already figured out how to get what she wanted. It was saddening, almost. "She has to get over dresses. They aren't evil or anything and if she gets used to pants, then she'll never wear a dress."

Nihl dove back into the water after her and proved to swim quite like a fish, as he spent most of his teenage year practically being one. He caught her quite easily, but gave her the satisfaction of a good game first. He did, when he caught up, throw his arms around her and splash ratehr hard into the water before pulling her back up with him in laughter, "I'm sorry, are you alright?"

"What's wrong with that? I like it when you don't wear a dress." Grigori had looked up for a half second before already forgetting he was speaking in front of his daughter. Whatever. She wouldn't get it anyhow.
"Mommy always wears dresses because she a dumb lady." Afsana pouted.
"Afsana, that's not nice." Grigori scolded her, but just barely, "How about you get dressed and we'll go out into town today, hm?" He looked back to his wife, "What do you think, my love?"

Laci wasn't the world's best swimmer. So it wasn't a shocker he caught her with such ease. But the splash into the water did surprise her. Laughing again when they hit the surface Laci finally gave in and let him subdue her as she stopped trying to splash about any more. "I've never been better!" She said turning to face him still smiling, her hair was already falling lose of it's pins, the ones her mother had spent a long time putting in.

Avarossa sighed and nodded her head. "Then you get to get her dressed. I am not fighting the wild beast again." She said walking from the bedroom and out to the hall to wait.

"Oh look at you," Nihl laughed, "You're a mess. Though I'm sure I certainly don't look any better." He reached over to take the remainder of her hair down. "I've found that after a swim hair is always much more manageable when it's loose."

Grigori shrugged and gave his daughter a small pair of pants like she wanted. What did he care? He wasn't looking to marry her off anytime soon. Or ever if he had a say in it. Besides it wasn't much of an effort, just took a bit of magic then him asking her, "Put the clothes on honey, then we can go."
"Okay daddy!" Afsana managed to put the clothes on. She almost got it all backwards, but luckily had daddy there to help. When she was dressed she jumped down off of the bed and raced out into the hallway, "Time to go mommy!"

"Mother told me not to get wet today." She said with a laugh and pulling a few of the last pins out that Nihl had missed. "She said my hair was a disaster yesterday." She puffed up proudly as if it was something good she had disobeyed her mom. "So I took my little sister's undergarments. She said pointing down to the chest wrap. I hoped we would be coming out here sometime today." She sighed "But I don't see why she cares, it's my hair anyways."

Avarossa smiled when she saw the two coming around the corner. "There we are, dressed and presentable. Why don't we go down and get some breakfast then go out?" She asked bending down to get the little girl.

"I think it's lovely." Nihl spun a wet lock around his finger and laughed, "It's me who looks like a drowned rat when I've gotten wet." He dipper under water quickly to come back up and push his hair back again, "I'm glad you like the sea so much though, and that you can enjoy yourself today."

"Breffest!" Afsana repeated, but barely. She clapped, I want cookies for breffest!"

"A drowned rat? Never." She laughed swatting at his hand. Laci dared not say what was on her mind. He would probably laugh at her. After all he was just being polite, having had asked her to come over again. After all he had kissed her. So today must be some sort of apology. She didn't dare tell him the best part of the day was just being with him.

Avarossa turned to stare at her husband. "Sweetheart, you want to handle this one? Please?" She asked not always wanting to be the bad guy.

Nodding his head Nihl laughed, "I thank you madam, but you needn't flatter me because I am the king. If you recall, I am also a younger brother, and a younger brother can take the truth as well as any insult, as he has likely been doing it his entire life. I certainly did."

Grigori smiled at his wife, "Whatever you say darling." He leaned over to make sure he could steal a kiss before he pissed her off. He looked down to his daughter, "We haven't any cookies darling. How about cake?"
"I love cake!" The child squeaked happily, "I love Daddy!"

"I didn't mean flattery. Just the truth." Laci said laughing. "But I am lucky, I am the oldest out of my siblings. So I don't have to worry so much about being insulted much." Laci began swimming into the deeper water. "I wish I were a fish. Then I could swim away from here." She said wistfully. Not that she wanted away from the king, but just away from all the responsibilities she had back home.

Avarossa stared in disbelieving. "You'll pay for that love." She smiled like there wasn't a problem. But underneath that smile, she was angry. A child as hyper active as their child did not need sweets. Yet her husband thought it would be a good idea.

"I quite like G'Reth, I suppose I would always stay." Nihl gave her a small smile, "Although I would like to explore more of the ocean. That's beside the point though, why do you want to leave?"

"She loves me." Grigori gave his wife a smile and continued to take the girl into the kitchen. While he didn't actually need a chef for anything he wanted to eat, as he could conjure it up himself, he didn't want to get his daughter used to that lifestyle, because she herself would never have the ability. He kissed the child on the forehead and put her down beside him so he could go negotiate a slice of cake out of the head chef for her. It wasn't hard either. He sat the child at the counter and gave her a fork, "Here you go, pumpkin."

Laci sighed and turned up so she could float around on her back wile the surf was still gentle. "I just want out of my house. This is one of maybe twelve real outings I have ever had. I go to the market with my parents from time to time. But I am mostly stuck at home." Laci paddled slowly back towards the king so she wouldn't have to raise her voice. "I wonder, are mermaids real? I would love to be one, even more then a fish."

Avarossa sighed and got breakfast herself. Something much healthier then cake. "Babe." She said walking a plate over to Grigori so he could eat to, she doubted he had yet to actually even notice his hunger. "Eat something please."
