Enya steps back into the familiar gym and immediately goes for the pile of squirming bats that are trying to hide something. Without even hesitating, a big smile on her face, she sticks her hand it and digs around for something. She wasn't quite sure what she was digging for since she didn't get anything the last time. Before she can grab onto anything, one of the bats decides to munch on her hand. She yanks her hand out and sticks her tongue at the pile of bats. Enya would not give up and leaves with the intent to come back tomorrow.

"I'm back!" Enya announces to no one in particular. She was here to try her luck with the pile of squirming bats again. A giggle escaped as she approached them for they sure looked funny trying to hide whatever it was they were hiding. She quickly stuck her arm in and dug around through the squirming bats.

It took awhile of maneuvering her arm but she managed to grab onto something. Excitedly, she pulled up her prize with eyes big from anticipation. It was a floresctival seed! "Yay!" She did a weird little dance and then waltzed her way out of the gym, prize in hand.

Yaaay Eelbat!

When the recently elevated year two monster student named Israfel had come back to old Batty’s gym, he had half expected the old bat two pick up something and throw it at him. Something possibly being dead fish, or, fish in general. This was likely a mental result of all the trauma the siren had recently inflicted upon himself over at Ember and Break’s trick or treating gym booth thing. Really, the pair were brutal in their attacks, and while the siren had walked away with a nice haul, he hadn’t gotten off scot free.

His body was bruised and sore, some of his seeds had been taken and or lost due to floresce attacks, and he also was still quite soaked from falling into the water or being dragged under. Not that he didn’t deserve it. He kind of did given the fact he had been trying to steal. Still, the siren was a tender and weak thing. He had run on pure tenacity, stubbornness, pride, luck, and purely foolish recklessness. Plus he could breathe underwater so it wasn’t like he could drown or anything. Nah, at worst he might have just accidentally started sputtering if the water got filled with some nasty flavor. Which in retrospect, it had been.

But that was the other gym. The one he planned on returning too for later attempts at thief and thievery. And probably more beatings, lost seeds and post traumatic stress. The school sponsored events were always providing a little bit of that. Memories better left suppressed.
Batty’s gym was a nice change of scenery, what with the lack of being rabidly attacked by two crazy trick or treaters or minipets or fish. It also lacked a distinct rain or ninjas. And emo clouds. No emo clouds to be found in this gym. Just lots and lots and lots of bats. Enough of them to form piles. Recalling his last visit one pile had given up a particular award. A floresctival seed. Though he wasn’t sure the seed would still be of much use, it wouldn’t hurt to have one on hand just in case something ever came up. Who knew, maybe he could bribe a gnome for it later on, or, use it to trick a first year into something. Though why he would want to trick a first year was rather beyond his current thought process.
First he had to find the pile of bats from last time. Retracing his stepped seemed to take forever, and with his cloaths still wet a shiver ran up Israfel’s spine as air hit his back. Wings fluffed out, (if in a dripping fashion) and ear wings flicked as even the slightest breeze made the monster twitch. In the low light, blue eyes scanned his surrounding before landing on just what he’d been looking for. The pile of bats. Grinning to himself he was even for just a moment able to spot a glimmer of the seeds they hid.

Rolling up his sleeve, (granted they were already filthy, along with much of the rest of him), Israfle got to work digging around. A few bats got nippy, and he winced as tiny fangs and claws tried to bat and swat him away from the pile. But his hand was still in the pile, and like the other gym, he’d not give up. Not until he won. The bats seemed to have a different plan however, and when the siren though he had something a bat made a rather silent protest, wriggling just enough to deny Israfel his victory. A tiny yelp as another bite got his finger and he pulled his hand free. Tired, wet, and now with a nipped hand, israfel was thinking it wasn’t worth it, and departed.

Still creeped out by the old bat.
