Sebastian was just getting plain old annoyed now. He was this close to just spiking both the Trick or Treaters and moving on with his death. Looking around, he noticed that everyone else seemed to be having just as hard of a time as he was. Well at least he wasn't alone.
It was then that Sebastian noticed a boil feeding the fish to his minipet. Well that actually seemed like a smart idea. At least not all the fish wouldn't go to waste! Recycling was definitely an A+ in his book.
Luck was favoring Sebastian too. Richter was floating down from the rafters, landing softly on the boil's shoulder.
Sebastian bent down to pick up on the fish that had been tossed at him. He threw it into the air, saying, "Bon apettite mon ami." Richter flew into the air with a graceful arc and caught the fish with one fell swoop. Well at least one of them was happy.

As she walked past the lake area wondering if she could somehow get across, she was again assaulted by a barrage of floresense fish. She tried to hold her hands up against the oncoming wave but found she had been quickly overwhelmed, and had to make a hasty retreat muttering curse words under her breath.
She was also sure she smelt of fish now. It made her hungry.

Covered in trash smell, the remnants of glitter, and many signs of a Rage battle, Ulmuka showed up in a serious attempt to acquire these ToT badges. A few already jingled in his pocket and he was determined to get the rest.
He approached cautiously and did his best to avoid the fish. He failed of course and was promptly slimed with a mess of failfish. At least he was still hungry!! He snatched one out of the air and tore into it with his teeth.
Gross.

Another day, another self-questioning attempt at the fish-throwing duo. But yet again whenever Vero stepped in, the pair had run out of fish after pelting some of the others before him, and once again the spirit felt something go thud against his chest armor: another of those brown lizard minipets had been tossed at him.
"Curious. Perhaps next time we will have better luck."
The minipet scampering about his legs, Vero turned to Ulmuka, who he spotted eating one of the fish thrown at him. "At least you have a lunch?"

"Mmmm!" That was Ulmuka's response. He'd already bitten the fish clean in half and now was tilting his head back to drop the remainder of the carcass down his throat in a gulping motion.
"I love this festival!" He giggled at Vero, seemingly having forgotten all the awful things that had happened already.

Herryk attempted to dodge a fish, successful at that but in doing so caught another fish on his bare thigh. "Herryk has had no luck with more badges," he said quickly, slipping on the slime that coated the floor, nearly losing his balance in the process. Another fish sailed across the gym and thudded wetly against his chest. "They never run out of fish," he mumbled in despair, ending on a sigh.

"They do occasionally run out," Vero pointed out, indicating the scampering broken horntan he had just now acquired. The minipet began to sniff at Ulmuka's feet, probably due to the mixture of grime and fish; he licked his lips. "Like it was in Master Rage's gym: we must continue to persevere, and return perhaps be rewarded for our tenacity. However, any pointers for Master Sleuth's challenges would be helpful . . ."
Seriously, every time the spirit tried, he always failed.
"Ah, our manners. Master Herryk, this is Master Ulmuka, one of the first visitors we had met in the festival. Master Ulmuka, this is Master Herryk, whom we met in the Sleuth's first challenge after he decimated a punching bag."

"Nice to meet you!" Ulmuka gave the burly boil his usual frighteningly wide smile. His golden eyes blinked one and then the other. "Another badge seeker? HURRAH!" His mood seemed to have lifted considerably after leaving the garbage mines. "Good luck to us all." Another fish hit him in the forehead and he rather disgustingly put it in his mouth whole, sliding it down his gullet with a nasty slurp-gulping noise. After it had disappeared he looked back at Herryk. He seemed to be massive to the strix. "He seems like quite a demolisher!" The usual screeching giggle followed his statement.

Herryk was not sure what to think of Ulmuka at first glance, and when the other boil swallowed the fish whole, the slightest twinge of a frown caused his brows to furrow. Just a little. Jack only knew how old and gross the fish were. Herryk was more concerned that the other boil would get sick as opposed to being skeezed out that he was eating nasty throwing-fish. "Sleuth's gym was Herryk's proudest moment," Herryk said, almost fondly. "Ulmuka should be careful of eating these fish. Herryk does not think they are very fresh."

"You are probably right.." Ulmuka rubbed his belly and hopped backwards as more fish were pelted. He avoided them and they landed lamely on the ground. "But I was soooo hungry."
His head tilted almost completely horizontal as he looked Herryk over with the never-changing grin. "Perhaps you have some pointers? I still need Sleuth's badge. My mini won a race there but no badge yet!"
Muka hopped next to Vero and playfully nudged the bug spirit. "I hope his advice isn't 'be big and strong!'." it wasn't much of a joke but Muka seemed to find it hilarious and burst into screeching giggled again.

Coming back around, Jericho stared across the room, wondering how long it'd take before the fish come flying. The answer was that it didn't take any time at all. The amount of fish was almost staggering really and it was impressive that the two had so much of the failfish to begin with. Then again, he supposed it wasn't that hard to restock on them. Failfish were rather abundant after all.

"We agree: if it were so, we would never be able to win one," Vero said as-a-matter-of-factly. "At least not in this given timespan. But if Master Herryk has the time, perhaps we could all leave for the gym and he may show us pointers?" This was preferable than to stand here and be a target for more fish.
"As for the fish, we have a theory that they may have reproduced more quickly in lieu of the fearados threat. We do not know about the gestation period of floresce fish, but it seems fairly short."

Sneaking in, hoping to score another pile of fish, the visitor instead finds herself being smacked by something small and hard. Rubbing the spot where it hit, she looks down and sees something glittering at her feet. Quicker than a flash of lightning, she scoops it up and tucks it in a pocket before making a mad dash for freedom. She didn't want the gym leader to chase after her for his own silly mistake of throwing his own badge.

If she was going to keep getting pelted by fish, Riley decided she was going to go attempt to steal some of their eggs again. So this time around, she climbed out of the fish pile that the ToTers had just dropped on her, and headed over to the tanks.
They would pay. THEY WOULD ALL PAY.
