Lyra heard another knock at her door. "Well I'm very popular tonight aren't I?" She opened the door and saw Neo standing there. He looked a little drained and so she stepped aside. "Neo, come in. Kyro is here as well. I made tea." she smiled.

I have a secret... Kyro was about to respond, relieved that she was not angry with him, but somebody knocked on the door. He stood up, surprised to see Neo standing there. "An angel gathering tonight?" He asked Lyra, laughing teasingly. He smiled at Neo and nodded to him, letting him know that he was welcomed, of coarse.

Veronica threw herself down on her bed as the cold night breeze drifted into the bedroom she had at Leo's. She hated how upset she felt. She wanted to be bad, and she wanted to be happy about being bad, but it didn't seem a possible feat at the moment. She wandered into the kitchen, ignoring Leo, she poured herself a glass of wine and went back to her room, drinking the alcohol quickly before escaping her worries through sleep. She just needed some time where she wasn't forced to think.

Lyra smiled at Kyro and then turned her attention back to Neo. "That's perfectly fine. All are welcome here." She took her spot back on the couch and sipped at her own cup of tea.

I have a secret...
Kyro chuckled at his response and sat down next to Neo, picking up his own tea cup and sipping thoughtfully at it. "That's what I would like to know. You all know I'm always in my own little world." He blushed a bit, thinking that 'his world' revolved around a certain someone, which she didn't even know he existed in.

Nelec was disguised as a man as balls of fire rained down on the city and she ran from home to home looking for a certain person. The chosen ones had already been saved but, there was one more. She had been watching him since the day he had been born and refused to let a person with such a heart be destroyed with the rest of the filth. The city was quickly catching fire as carts, along with beasts and people, burned. She avoided screaming people who ran past her and tripped on their own robe, falling to the ground and rolling around trying to put themselves out. It was back in the days of old, back in the days of Lot. She burst through the door of another home and found the little boy sitting in a corner by himself. His house was on fire and she didn’t have much time. She ran over to him with an outstretched hand and just before she reached him….
Now she faced judgment, being reprimanded for her actions. Her head hung low until she heard the final verdict. She reached out with pleading arms, begging, but then…
The severe pain she went through as her beautiful white wings were burned off only to be replaced with black ones as she plummet from the Heavens.
Nel woke with a scream, sitting straight up in her bed as her eyes flew open. Her breathing was heavy and she was drenched in sweat as she sat in bed trying to recall where she was and what was going on. She looked around the room for a moment before remembering that she was in her house and concluding that it had only been a dream. She put her face inside her palms and took a deep breath before looking at the glowing blue night light plugged into the wall. He liked to cause her to have bad dreams. Sometimes when she messed up, sometimes just because he felt like it. She hadn’t had that particular one in a very long time though. Eventually she forced herself to get out of bed for a drink of water and to change night gowns. She also changed the sheets on the bed; cloth this time as they were more comforting to her. She then clicked on the television that was stuck in the wall to give her mind something else to concentrate on as she tried to go back to sleep.

Veronica woke up in a cold sweat, shivering violently. She clawed at the blankets that surrounded her, bringing them close. When she was still cold Veronica curled up in a ball, pulling at her long white hair.

Lyra sighed and looked at the both of them. "Oh nothing much except Cole caused havoc and then tried to kill me. Oh yes and Veronica came to me to ask to be an angel again. I think she's conflicted.." She took another sip from the glass and then stared into it.
What do I do? she wondered.

Kyro glanced at her after she told what had happened while he was in dreamland with Nelec, and his eyes bugged. "Veronica?" He wondered. "Wanted to be an angel?" He sipped thoughtfully before putting his tea cup back down. "Interesting." He smiled and then glanced at Neo.

Veronica's thoughts ran through her past, tormenting her with laughter and joyful faces of her childhood. 'Veronica, don't' a boy called out to her and a maniacal laughter racked her brain. 'But James' Veronica's face looked gleefully delighted at something which she was torturing while James stared at her, horrified.
Veronica sat up, coughing and shivering though sweat poured down her face. She stumbled into the kitchen, trying to get a glass of water. She grabbed a glass from the cabinet, but it fell to the ground, shattering into a million pieces. Veronica made a horrible gasping sound before she too fell to the ground, convulsing in pain and agony. She screamed, her hand digging into the shattered glass, blood falling smoothly down her hand as the flashback continued.
