Kurai tension eased up a bit and he became a little bit more relaxed. I actually came from the mall, it was... interesting Kurai was surprised to hear that she had met a few shapeshifters but he didn't make a big deal about it. When she said they were good at many things he just kinda laughed. Well that hesitation kinda confuses me but, I'm not surprised they probably know a lot more then me... kinda young...ish When the female said that she knew a few at school kurai couldn't help but ask. Really? are the students or teachers? Then the female started to talk to Kurai looks like you finally over your fear of being here Kurai replied but didnt realize that he had said it aloud till it was to late No i just know that im not going to get killed for showing up unannounced The female giggled at Kurai You need to keep working on talking to me in your head, this is the second time you blurted out trying to talk to me Kurai got angry at the female but let it pass Well at least you have control of your anger Kurai went back to the roommate Im... sorry...my other...forms... have a mind of their own... and sometimes I forget that I...I dont need to talk aloud to communicate with them so... yea... Kurai tensed up a bit and started to blush Why you blushing? You are a little child Kurai just ignored the female and went back to normal.

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo.
Care To Dance?"

Considering that the mall was such a great distance, Aurora was surprised to hear that this boy had come so far and not gotten lost. When he spoke again in response to her words, she glanced back to him at the mention of his age. While he didn't look terribly young, she knew that each race appeared differently, and simply nodded to show that she understood. "One is a teacher, the other is a student." she answered his question, though she wasn't sure enough to give their names. She had only spoken with the teacher once, and she knew of the sister, though they had never actually spoken. She turned back to the water, noting that it was now boiling. Removing the kettle from the stove top, she moved to pour into two seperate mugs before settling two tea bags into the water to seep. Looking up as Kurai spoke again, she raised a brow at hos statement. Before she could question his meaning, however, he was speaking again and giving an explanation. "Oh~ I understand." she told him reassuringly, a small smile for comfort on her face. "A few of the shapeshifters in my tribe told me once about the same thing." The fact that she had called the tribe her own may have seemed odd, but by all technicalities, she had been adopted into their graces; hence her rather large amount of knowledge pertaining to shapeshifters. "What is the form that was speaking to you now?"

Kurai was surprised that their were other shapeshifters in the school. That's cool maybe I see the teacher in the staff lounge someday... maybe, since I... kinda teach their... sorta Kurai was relived to hear that she didn't respond negatively about his random outburst, as most would have. You seem to be very calm for someone who has a visitor just randomly shows up here, but then again you do have a... lion is it?, that could probably shred me to pieces if i tried anything. Kurai said with a small chuckle. When heard that she said she was a part of a tribe Kurai raised and eye and tilted his head in confusion They hang in tribes? Are you a shapeshifter? Kurai began to ask a lot of questions in his head but he didn't want to ask cause he didn't want to be rude and didn't want to sound stupid about not knowing anything about his own people. He then started to think it was a bit to late for that, due to the fact that he asked about them being in tribes. sorry I just... never been around... people before... let alone... shapeshifters When she asked about what form was speaking to here Kurai wasn't really sure how to answer Well... uhh, the form that was speaking to me just now... was my... uhh... female form... Kurai said with a bit of hesitation. Most people found it weird that he had a female form and often times was called a perv. She...tends to be a very... hyper... person... I dont really try to let her meet people on the first go cause it tends to almost get us killed The female got angry You run up to someone one time and he freaks out on us and you just never let it go do you? I learned my lesson you don't have to be so dramatic gosh Kurai chuckled no you just tend to black mail me a lot so I just use it as pay back The female laughed and thats why we are so great together Kurai looked back but yea... that's the form that talks to me, my other form just kinda lingers around and talks only when necessary, and unless you can communicate with animals you will need a translator to hear... that form Kurai said with a bit of tension cause he still wasnt sure how she would react um... by the way... I don't think i got your name

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo.
Care To Dance?"

Letting out a short giggle at his statement of being calm, she simply shrugged in response. Most would claim her to be of the hyper sort, but she had matured and mellowed out over the years, enough so that a few people like Kurai would say the same of her being calm. She nodded when he mentioned the lion, her gaze sliding over to the spot where Ryuu was currently laying before returning to her task of watching over the tea. As the questions were asked, she answered honestly, her voice as light as chimes. "The shifters in Ghana do. In fact, most of Africa's shapeshifters move in tribes, rather than individuals." She lifted the mugs, moving to hand one to Kurai before inviting him over to the sofa. It would be much easier to talk there then it was to stand in the kitchen. After letting him sit, she took the chair across from him, on the other side of the coffee table as she continued to answer his other questions. "I'm Aurora Solindo, and no, I'm not a shifter, but I was adopted into a tribe a few years back. I am actually a Siren, from the Spanish royal family." At the mention of her race, one would usually be able to understand the beauty in her physical traits and voice, as the original Sirens were used to lure sailors. Granted, that was centuries ago, but such genetics wouldn't disappear.

She flashed him a grin, waving off his apologies of being too curious. She understood what it was like to be full of questions, and she was simply glad that he was willing to answer her own. As he explained his other form, she listened with interest, nodding occasionally to show that she understood. It didn't seem strange to her that another one of his forms was female, mostly because she knew that shapeshifters usually had the ability to change between the genders; after all, they were another race with their own unique qualities. "I am sorry that I cannot speak to animals."

Kurai nodded his head like he just found out something new ohhhh African tribe that would make sense Kurai wasn't sure about the African shapeshifters but he knew that most people from their hung out in tribe so this didn't strike him as odd. I was forced to live on my own I don't even know how I got here the furthest back i can remember is 5 years ago when i woke up in the middle of a field. No memory of anything. All i had was a note Kurai thought for a minute and decided to change the subject I'm sorry, I'm sure you don't want hear me go on about this. Kurai chuckled to try to push it off as he walked from the door over to the sofa to sit down A siren ehh? that seems pretty cool, that would explain why your beautiful The female started to laugh at Kurai Are you... you trying to.... hit on her The female tried to say while laughing no it was a complement, I was just trying to be nice Kurai said a bit annoyed but he just moved on from it sorry she can get a bit... distracting... at times Kurai found it kinda funny that she said she couldn't talk to animals Its all right if the wolf need to speak to you i will tell you Kurai kinda stop and thought for a minute he wanted to talk about it but he didn't want to force people to hear it so he tried to work his way off the subject I'm sorry I keep going on about myself lets hear about you Kurai said as he leaned back and lifted his leg to rest on his knee Are you a teacher or are you studying for something? As he sipped his tea

(Sorry it took so long, i had started to reply then my internet cut out so i had to retype everything)

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo.
Care To Dance?"

Aurora remained seated, listing to the boy with interest. Memory loss was a hardship, as she knew from her roommate's own stories. Still, the fact that he had a note perked her interest, but she felt that prying would be a rude act. "It's alright. We can talk about whatever you please." she told him, but otherwise let the matter drop. Perhaps there were happier things for him to consider while they waited for Vera to appear. His next statement drew a small smile, as she was very used to recieving such compliments from a variety of races. When he spoke again, she knew that it must have been directed to his other form, so responded first to Kurai. "Do not worry. It was nice." She took a small sip of her tea, eyeing him for another second before speaking again, though this time she was directing it toward his other form; the one she couldn't currently see. "Female, would you please let him speak? Interrupting is rude, and this I am a resident of this home." While such words would usually sound brazen and bold, Aurora hoped that she would understand, and allow Kurai to hold a conversation without so much speaking; after all, they could always converse later, and she knew plenty of shifters that would never tolerate so much interrupting from their other forms. Of course, she was sure to keep her tone level, not wanting the regality of her bloodline to slip in. At Reed's, all were expected to be equal, so she never used her heritage as an excuse to give orders.

Moving on to answer his question, she crossed one leg over the other, growing comfortable as she held her cup between both hands. "I'm a college student, though I am set to graduate next year. Then I'll probably return home or if I am lucky, travel some more." While Spain was a lovely place, she wasn't sure that palace life was suited for her, at least not yet. There was so much to do, and she would rather not be stuck at a desk like her uncle.

{ooc: Oi, my turn to say sorry. School was a killer this week.
I'm just glad for some vacation now~}

User Image Kurai smiled and let out a small laugh as she told her to let Kurai speak and the female became a little angry That's it we need to find a name for me I'm tired of being called female Kurai just laughed little again Tell you what you think of one and will see how people like it The female was a bit happier after that and stayed quiet for a little while. Kurai then had to apologize for her. Im sorry she just not use to staying quiet I usually have her talk to people first hand so she can be very talkitive Kurai became interested when she said that she wanted to travel That sounds fun, where do you plan on going? Kurai stomach started to make a small faint noise but it was a bit quiet so no one could probably hear but kurai kinda grabbed his stomach. you gotta ask sometime Kurai made sure to watch what he said out loud this time I dont want to be rude, Ill find some later Kurai then tried to move on from the subject Im actually a new teacher at the school, and I know what your thinking I seem a bit young to be a teacher

(lol its alright ik how school can get)

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo.
Care To Dance?"

Pleased that her request hadn't been completely set aside, she simply nodded. The female wasn't annoying her too much, but she didn't want Kurai to be bothered while they spoke, and Aurora wasn't keen on the idea of someone interrupting. Hearing his question, she allowed for another smile, quietly sipping her tea as she gave him a shrug. "Anywhere I haven't been yet." she answered after a moment, knowing that her family wouldn't disapprove completely. Diplomacy would be good for the current rulers, and she wouldn't mind filling the spot if it meant traveling away from Spain. She was pulled from her thoughts as Kurai shifted, his hand moving to his stomache. She rose a brow, but didn't question it as he shifted the topic of conversation. The news of him being a teacher caused her to speak again, her tone even friendlier than before. "Oh~ No, you don't seem too young. I'm used to this place. There are students centuries old and teachers that appear to be only a child." It didn't matter much; it was just diversity, and she had grown to appreciate it. "What do you teach?"

Kurai laughed a bit about going anywhere that she hasn't yet I take it you travel a lot then Kurai said with curiosity since he never really traveled the world hes only been to two places involving school. Kurai wasn't sure how to respond when Aurora asked what he tought in the school I'm suppose to be teaching computer programming but its still a new class so I'm currently not teaching Kurai stated and also chuckled a bit about the appearance of some teacher I got to remember that I'm not going to school with a bunch of people who don't know about this Kurai stretched his arms due to the lack of movement, Since kurai never really stayed still. His stomach had made a small noise again which was also barely able to be heard, this time kurai didn't cover his stomach instead he just ignored it as the female spoke your gonna have to ask sometime ya know Kurai just ignored her and continued on with the conversation

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo.
Care To Dance?"

His assumption about her traveling was correct, so she gave a swift nod in response. Her words held an underlying giggle as she explained lightly, "Five years worth. It's the reason I'm only now attending college." She was behind for her race's standards, but most didn't think it mattered. Being a princess held a few perks, so long as one wasn't directly in line for the throne. The mention of his subject caused her to listen with more attention, as she found that that would be an interesting class to take. Perhaps she would enroll, if her schedule ever began to empty out. "I'm sure you'll have a good time teaching here. Most students are well behaved." She sat back, enjoying another sip of her tea as quiet settled over their conversation. Because of that, she was able to pick up the sound of a faint gurgle, causing her to raise a brow and glance down to his stomach. After a few moments, Aurora was able to realize why he had grabbed his stomach earlier. She debated whether or not to get up, but knew that if she made the choice for him, the action might be seen as rude. So she remained seated, her words carrying an obvious hint as she said, "I should get dinner started. Would you like anything while I cook?"

Kurai was amused to hear that Aurora was just now attending college due to her travels. Afterwards when she said that most that the students were well behaved he became a little confused. You know I haven't seen many people around, are they on break or something Kurai thought that was a good question I know that does seem a little weird speaking of which are they on break? I've barely seen anyone around Kurai wasn't sure how Aurora would respond but he thought he should ask to be sure. As the conversation had grown dim he didn't really know what to do so he started to look around the room. When Aurora asked if he wanted wanted anything while she cooked Kurai wasn't sure what to say No I'm good, but are you sure you want to start? I would at least wait till your roommate comes back Kurai then stood up to stretch his legs but didn't leave the couch area So how are you able to afford this? Looks kinda of expensive
PostPosted: Thu Nov 22, 2012 6:48 pm

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo.
Care To Dance?"

Standing along with Kurai, she responded to his first question about waiting for her roommate. "I plan on making enchiladas. Hopefully Vera will be back before they're finished." She wasn't too concerned, however, as the half-dragon girl was able to easily heat food thanks to her fire affinity. Plus, the two didn't always eat together, and she wondered of Vera would even be hungry when she returned home; she had spent the day with Baihu, after all. Moving towards the kitchen, she continued to speak, explaining the absence of students without much thought. "It's almost time for final exams. Most students aren't really leaving their rooms in favor of studying." Most kids here were on academic scholarships, so she knew that they took their grades seriously, or else they would have to return to school outside of the Veil; there was little help for magical creatures out there. Once in the kitchen, she opened the fridge, pulling out a few various kinds of fruit before she began creating the main dish. Turning to the counter, he would still be able to see her because the rooms were connected, she set out the items, slicing them up into pieces as she answered his last question regarding the dorm. "My family pays for it. Mainly because I used to stay here with just my sister and uncle while we attended high school. After meeting Vera, we had her move in with us. After graduation, my uncle left back to Spain to continue his duties as the prince, and I left to travel. Vera chose to stay and continue her education." Arranging the fruit on a plate, she set aside the knife she had been using. She wiped her hands on a towel, then picked up the platter as she returned to Kurai, holding out the plate to him as a gesture to eat some of the fruit. Continuing her explanation smoothly, she returned to the tiled floor, having deliberately left out what had happened to her sister. "I chose to come back here for school. Vera was still in this dorm so I took my old room."

Kurai eyes slightly got bigger when he heard that their were going to be enchiladas, that is the one thing he lived on before he had came to this school due to the fack that it was good and cheap the way he had made it Well if your sure it okay, just a little weird that u wouldn't eat with a roommate Kurai laughed cause no matter what he would always see families eating together. When Aurora said that it was around the time for exams Kurai was a bit surprised That would explain why my class is empty kurai laughed a little to him self since he didn't notice it sooner When she came over with the tray of food he was hesitant when taking some fruit. He ended up a few slices Thanks Then female spoke I know your not trying to be rude but you could take more Kurai just laughed a bit. When Aurora said that her family was paying for it he didn't seem that surprised, but when she said she use to live her sister and Uncle but he didn't want to ask. well its cool that you have parents that you could help you with this kind of stuff Kurai said as he sat back down on the couch

"Hello, I'm Aurora Solindo.
Care To Dance?"

Wondering how it could possibly be weird to eat with her roommate, she simply let the matter go. Hopefull, Vers would be home soon so that Aurora could speak with her about her day. As far as she was concerned, she still believed that the girl was getting married, and was looking forward to asking about the trip to the mall. For now, however, she focused on Kurai, pleased to see that he was eating some of the fruit she had set out. The plate had been put onto the coffee table, so that he could reach it from his seat whenever he pleased. "My parents feel rather obligated to. And my uncle helps because of the friendship he shared with Vera." She shrugged, biting back the more specifix reason behind their eager support of her lifestyle. Without her sister, she was the closest to an heir the king had. "You should visit Spain sometime." she told him cheerfully while retrieving the ingrediants she would need for enchiladas; though it wasn't her best dish, she knew that it would turn out as good as could be made by one of her old tutors from Mexico.

User Image As Aurora shrugged Kurai just chuckled a bit I take it that their is more than one reason why he stayed here, I have a feeling its personal though so I wont bug you about it. Kurai started to takes some fruit with out knowing it due to his hunger. When she said that he should go to Spain sometimes he thought it was a cool idea I might sometime, though I don't really know what I would do their Kurai hears a noise that you would usually hear from a cellphone, Kurai then sighs Sorry for a space holder you think they would make it sound proof Kurai pulls out his laptop from this weird pentagram thing with a strange design and opens it. He starts to type on the computer Sorry just a... person emailing me Kurai said hesitantly but he didn't seem to bothered about it. He put the computer back in the space holder and went back to eating the fruit. Kurai tried to go for some more friut and noticed that their was no more Oh uh... oops... guess I was a little hungry The female spoke to him Don't lie i thought you didn't want to be rude Kurai just gave out a small laugh and moved on

(sorry I meant to say wouldn't, I never liked typos, sorry about that sweatdrop )
