Again a loss! If there was anything Aislin hated in the world it would be losing. She had been about to grab the wheel and give it an angry whorl when she heard her name called. Looking up the banshee ghostling paused with her hand on the wheel, irritated expression turning into one of surprise. She let go, trying to play it as smoothly as she could. No sooner had Nuk called for her had the other ghouls continued to collect around him.
She wouldn't let it stop her, though. He'd called for her by name. She lightly brushed past the others, stopping in front of the dark-skinned boil as he stood behind his booth. The others were teasing him, it seemed? Poor thing. Hair floating about her lightly she leaned her hip against the booth's table, one hand resting on it's surface to support herself while the other planted on her hip.
"Nukpana?" She tilted her head to the side, fog swirling about her as lazily as her hair.

Indeed it was! The fairy cheered as her little ball landed on the number 40, knowing that she had won another 2 chips. She had so many now? what kind of things could she use the chips for? Grinning, she gave the wheel a final spin to see if she could win again.

If he'd noticed Riley's expression, he didn't mention it, his attention focused on the blonde ghoul as she approached, grinning. He had noticed her frustration in losing, something he actually didn't blame her for. The roulette wheel had been acting kind of funny lately, as if it had a personality all its own, and it had been sending more than one student into a furious tizzy. It had only recently started paying out Junko, as she'd mentioned to the ghoul not moments before -- if it had a method to it's madness or whether it was just trolling hardcore, Nuk couldn't say, but it certainly wasn't him for once. Why would he rig it, anyway, he had nothing to lose by giving away the tokens. It could be argued it served his purpose better the more he gave away, because people were more likely to come to Prom. Not that he particularly cared who came... well, ok, that was half a lie.
"Have you met Riley and Junko?" He asked, surprisingly polite in an attempt to introduce the other ghouls he was talking to. Had he known she was jealous of them, thinking they were flirting with him, he would have put her mind to rest quickly -- Junko was like his little sister, and Riley well... Riley was Riley, she was a threat to everything and anything, and therefore it was really pointless being jealous of her. Unless you liked being jealous all the time. But he didn't, so he merely offered to introduce them, glancing back at the wheel and nudging his head in that direction as well.
"Ignore the wheel -- it's been acting funky. It's kinda been ignoring the people I tend to like... damn thing."

Uwwaaaahhh!!! She'd missed most of it!
It wasn't hard to miss the palest ******** thing in the world Tomoko as she bustled about from booth to booth, eventually finding herself standing in front of the prom booth. The kitsune's eyes slowly trailed up it to look at the decor with an appraising look, before she took a look at the people who were currently standing at it.
Her eyes froze on the skinwalker and her tails puffed up. For anybody able to read body language, Tomoko was frightened of the monster boil, ears drooping before she bustled over to cower next to Junko. The entire time she passed frightened looks between other students who were playing at the booth.
"Juuunnkkoooo chaaaannn!!!"
She was practically in tears as she buried her face into the back of the futakuchi-onna's kimono. The game wasn't even looked at in exchange for the kitsune having a very firm hiding place, holding her ball of stars firmly against her chest.
Tomoko sniffed once.
"Junnkkoooo-chaaaan.. I've been looking everywhere for you ;;;;;;" she whimpered. There was a high chance that Tomoko had completely lost her barrings and been walking around in a giant circle for the last hour or so in a panic.
It wouldn't have been out of character for her.

Mot turned his head to find a familiar face. "Well well, if it isn't Lizzy." Mot said with a smile. "I guess I am a mite predictable. If only gambling were as predictable as me, I'd win more often." He chuckled to himself. "But I guess that would take the fun out of it."
He would indeed try again. Why not, right? Lizzy was here, so maybe she would bring him luck? Oh. Luck! Mot rubbed Lizzy's head while spinning the wheel. "For luck~."
...
"Huh. Thought that would work" Apparently Lizzy's hair was not as lucky as he had thought!

"Predictable?" She wasn't sure what to make of it, so she settled for grinning at him, "I'll only know when I know more about you, yes?" When he rubbed her head, however, her face turned to a shade similar to that of her hair as she pouted, eyes rolling up to stare at him, "H-hey! I need it too!"
She tossed the ball in when Mot spun the wheel, keeping her eye on the ball that belonged to her. When it landed on a winning slot, she giggled, raising an eyebrow at the reaper.
"Rule of diffusion - particles move from an area of higher concentration-" She giggled again, gesturing at his hand, currently on her head, "- to an area of lower concentration." She then gestured at herself.
"Think we're balanced out now?"

"Oh well you're more than welcome to get to know me better any time you wish." He said with an eyebrow waggle that went unseen thanks to his hat's brim.
"Sharing is caring, Lizzy!" He piped back at her, continuing to rub her head. That is until he had lost, and she had won. "Tu chez."
Mot stroked his chin and eyed the little demon beside him. "Balanced, huh? We shall see." he said with a smirk. "I'm feeling a mite competitive now." He smiled playfulling and gave the wheel another go.
...
"Oh for Jack's sake!"

"That would be nice," She giggled, missing the whole eyebrow wiggle which would probably have caused her to blush even deeper, "You're the first Reaper boil I've met who isn't grumpy in some way." She made a face at the word 'grumpy' before tossing another ball on the wheel, watching it roll around until it finally stopped.
"... I think we are balanced now," She couldn't help letting out a light chuckle as she pointed at where her ball had landed as well as where Mot's ball had landed, "Both off by 1 for a prize! I think you took my luck!"

"Am I?" He was actually curious. He'd only met a few reapers, and they all seemed nice to him! "Well that is certainly strange."
"I think so too." He laughed. "Sorry, here have it back." Mot rubbed her hair again, but let her go so he could roll again with his own luck.
...
"Wow." That was some pretty horrid luck he had. Mot laughed at himself and rubbed his neck, arching his back backward. "Oh well! Looks like my own luck is still terrible."

Dragain "Yes," She replied with a pout as she tilted her head, "That or they must all dislike demons... Like your next door neighbor." Her face fell at that, and she grew quiet for a bit, staring at the ground, looking a little dejected before perking up again at the head/hair rub from Mot. She didn't even care that her hair was probably messy thanks to him.
"But you're different, which is nice for a change," She smiled, tossing her third ball in as she spun the wheel. This time though, she didn't stare at it. Instead, she turned to look at the boil with a soft smile, "Oh? I must have taken all your luck then, seeing how I've made such a good friend over a short span of a few weeks. I'm a lucky ghoul!"
How she is able to sprout all that without blushing is a mystery; probably because she is blushing. It's just difficult to tell, with her face turned back towards the roulette wheel.
As the ball landed on yet another winning number, she giggled, "See?"

"Mac? He never seems grumpy to me..." Or maybe he shouldn't say that? Oops. He hoped Lizzy didn't take that badly. But, she already seemed upset. Mot didn't like to see a ghoul sad. "Hey now. Demons are great! I love demons!" He said with a wide smile, hoping to cheer her up.
Mot felt good to hear Lizzy say he was nice, different than reapers she was used to. At least the title of reaper was not tainted totally by grumpiness.
Mot chuckled at her win. "Just as well. I'd rather see you win than me. Well done!" he patted her back, proud of his pal.

"Really?" She blinked, not quite sure what to make of it except to confirm the fact that yes, Mac must dislike her (or begrudgingly befriend her) due to her being a demon. Thus he is always grumpy and mean to her... Which is surprisingly hurtful to think about. Then again, he did pull her out of her misery and for a whole 5 seconds or so, was actually gentle about it.
"He's hard to figure out," She settled for that before spinning the wheel and tossing her last ball in. She did managed a smile and chuckle at Mot's exclamation, however, and she found herself taking his arm, "Ah, but you probably love every race the same."
As the wheel stopped spinning, she realized that her winning streak had stopped. She didn't feel upset though, since something else had already caused her to feel down. Determined not to let that affect her, however, she looked up at Mot, "Now that we're out of balls-" She paused momentarily, blushing at how wrong that sounded before trying to pretend like she didn't catch it, "Want to go somewhere else?"

"I guess?" Mot chuckled, deciding not to voice his opinion on ghosts. He liked them fair enough, but he also had a tendency to see them as a result of a reaper's failure. Perhaps that was just leftover nonsense from his parents talking though. Mot was open minded about a lot of things.
Mot smirked at her slip, grinning at her. Boy, this ghoul was sure quick to blush. "Sure." he agreed happily. "Take me away~."

"Awesome!" She beamed, blissfully unaware of the fact that he had, indeed, caught her little 'unwanted' comment. Thus, taking his arm (and her newly won chips), she headed for another booth. One with objects that rhymed with 'chips'.
... Ships.
