Well, that was a brilliant idea. Poke looked a little guilty as she scratched the back of her head looking the other way. "Er...sorry...I didn't mean to yell" She really hadn't, but looking at the two she had been utterly shocked by the amount of blood she had seen.

As for the comments on their luck, she didn't say anything as well, deciding that saying anything about this would probably just make it worse. Her eyes did catch the ribbons that both riyo and mitsu had however. "Um....Those are some pretty ribbons you guys got" she said to them. "Are they those..minipet things?"

Mitsu's ears fell back at all the yelling, still not sure if she wanted to stand up yet or not. The soreness from the day was starting to settle in.

Looking up at Shun, the lupine stifled a whimper. "I...I dunno." Sure she had gotten a few prizes and met some new people...but she had been scratched, bitten, clawed, pinched, chewed on, and all around mauled for the day.

Mitsu then heard the teacher speak up again, his words making her cringe. No....no her mini pet didn't listen to her very well. "N...no..." Mitsu said reluctantly, deflating a little on the spot.

"What does going on a field trip have to do with this?" Deacon retorted. Clearly, his point wasn't getting across. Taking note of the hovering harness wandering near the professor, the demon pointed a finger at it accusingly.

"Bloodshed is entirely different than finding that thing's excrement on what I happen to pick up." He growled lightly, looking toward the entry to the maze again with the suggestion that he go inside and rinse his hands. Nothing but water, though.

"I'll pass." He said at last, frowning. Rather than sarcastically thanking him for the crap-covered claw, Deacon simply walked off, intending to find the nearest washroom to clean his hands and prize.

"A tip," He gestured briefly at Mitsu as he raised an eye brow, "When you're dealing with minipets and feel like you are losing control, think about the most confident person you know. It can be a friend, a family member or even a fictional character. Think about the way that person carries himself or herself and channel that 'feel' to help you take control of the situation again."

He paused momentarily, "Confidence needs to be built up, yes. For now, try channeling the feelings of someone with confidence into the atmosphere. Some minipets will buy that since they can sense your emotions pretty well."

Willow paused in her leaving to look at the teacher, "Oh thank you for the game." She said thinking her tail flickering as she pulled out one of her Nyan cat boxes.

"I do have an... odd question. These turn into those Pastry cat's right?" Yaus was eyeing the box licking his lips hoping he got to try a taste of that pastry, now wondering what Merel had been wondering. "These aren't eatable correct?"

Poke frowned a little as she watched mitsu seem to crawl into herself at the teachers words. They were a little harsh, but she could tell the guy knew what he was talking about. And it wasn't like he was wrong; it was easy to tell she had no confidence in herself.

Looking at Malcon again, she held up her own set of feathers and claws. "Thanks for the game, it was.." she glanced at mitsu and then looked back. "A very intense challenge" Okay she was lying her a** off it was a walk in the park, but she wasn't about to admit it. "However I was wondering what is the best way to take care of these? I haven't taken care of any minipets before..."

As she spoke, she watched the tabby looking cat guy make a few more comments and walk off. She rolled her eyes at this. Honesty, what a jack damed pansy. Anyone who made such a fuss at a bit of poop really need to get over themselves.

"Well, basically, they like Fear Candy, as with any other Minipets," He nodded, fishing for something from the side pocket of his pants before holding it up between his thumb and index finger; it was a piece of white Fear Candy, shaped like a bone. While it couldn't be seen, Vlad's tail started to wag and he let out a bark before he jumped on Malcolm's lap.

"However, each Minipet have their own preferences," He continued, tossing the Fear Candy up into the air. Vlad (or rather, the collar) jumped up, catching the treat before landing on the top of the booth's table with a happy bark. The Professor smiled, "Rapalicious like treats that smells or tastes of meat and blood, since they are... Well, carnivores. Thus, you can technically feed them meat instead of Fear Candy."

He then paused, gesturing to the ribbon some of them held, "Honestly, I think they were collecting those for it to grow into a Sheepish and be hunted for food. These Rapalicious are pretty smart, especially in a pack... So yeah. When you raise one or two of them, always be firm. That way, they'll look at you as the pack leader and listen to you."

... Wow, he was giving a lesson here. That's pretty fantastic.

"Anyway, I'm sure you kids have plenty of booths to visit," He grinned, pointing at a nearby booth - one that looked ready to collapse due to the wood it was made with - with his thumb, "I recommend the Human Studies booth, if you hadn't already. Professor Savage prepared something a little less... Challenging."

Raising a hand in a sort of a 'bye' gesture at the departing students as they passed, he chuckled lightly, "It would be my pleasure to have students as diligent as you."

Seems like he's in a pretty good mood.
