She gave a quiet giggle and winked right back at him. She yawned a bit and stretched. She looked over at her brother. "Is there any food left, Akin? I could go out and hunt again if you want me to." Her tail flicked slightly as she yawned. "I wonder how Mother and Uncle Karv are doing..." Her thoughts trailed to her family slightly. No doubt Karver had finally popped the question to Hope, but what of her mother? Had she stayed with Moyo or left him. 'My guess is that she left...Mom never could stay one place long...' She gave a small sigh. Now where had her mother gone to?

Akin watched his sister for a moment before smiling. "You can go visit, Anya. In fact, I encourage you to do so." The gray lion nuzzled the purple liger. "I know you must miss them...I miss Hope too..."

"Are you serious?!" She looked over at her brother! "Sweetness! That is so awesome! Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She tackled Akin and laughed nuzzling him a bit. "Oh, this'll be fun fun fun!! I'ma visit Uncle Karver first!" She bounced around in the sands laughing with such joy. "Oh, this'll be great! I'll leave first thing tomorrow!" Anya gave a small stretch then grinned. "Maybe I'll stop by Rellick's place and see how Jay is...no that'll be too soon. I'll do it on my way back!"

"Give Rellick a bit of time to work on Jay..." Akin frowned, preoccupied with his thoughts. "I wonder..."
Anya's antics coaxed a smile out of the adult. "I hope to the heavens that the male who gets you can deal with you." It was all light teasing.

"Who says I'm ever going to get one?" She gave a small, playful growl. "I think most males think of me as a freak of nature." She motioned toward her stripes. "You don't see a very beautiful liger everyday now do ya?" She gave a small laugh and poked Akin with one of her paws. "Anyway, if I do meet a guy, I'll bring him over here for your interragation, King, sir." She said in her authoritive voice but couldn't help from laughing. She ended up on her back hugging her stomach from the aches. "Ahahahaha!!"

That joke earned Anya a pounce and tousle. "RAR!" Akin bit lightly at her ears.

"AHH!" She laughed at his "attack" and rolled over away from her brother. She gave a fake snarl and pounced upon his back, her paws around his belly as she bit down on his right ear. "You are so dead!" She teased and knawed softly on his ear and head. "There is no way you can defeat the Mighty Huntress!"

Kichea sat regally in the sunlight, enjoying the way the heat warmed her ebony coat and made it gleam. Her crimson eyes surveyed the land, resting upon another ebony figure as it approached. Her only daughter walked from the east.
Shairi padded up to her mother, nuzzling her affectionately. She was the only one left of her siblings. "Hello mother." She said softly. She enjoyed being with her family. She wanted so much to be a queen like her mother, but Shairi was nothing like her mother. Kichea was calm and cool, witty and independant. Shairi was loving and carefree, prefering to have fun rather than take command.

His Pride was dwindling. Jayvyn and Jalara had left, Anya was visiting her family. Kichea, Shairi and Ceari were the only ones here. He had tried to bring Essence back to the Pride but the white male had refused. The King didn't know what to do with him. For being smart, he really was bad at dealing with family members.
He nosed the hiccuping cub between his forelegs, making shushing noises. The little Dark Song had started crying soon after her mother left. Jalara had wanted to take her with her, but Ceari had wanted to stay. Akin didn't know what to tell the cub. Things like that happened.

Kichea smiled softly at her daughter. "Hello little song bird." She said affectionatly as she rose to greet her daughter.
"Mother..." Shairi said a little peeved at how her mother always knew when she was off singing to the savannah.
The crying of a kit caught Kichea's ear and her crimson eyes found Akin and the little one easily. "Come, Shairi. Ceari is in need of a friend." She said easily. Perhaps the two would grow close.

Akin spotted his mate coming and smiled. "Hello Kichea..." He purred, nuzzling the dark cub again. "Jalara has left and Ceari decided to stay." He turned his gaze to his only daughter. "Welcome back Shairi."
Ceari stayed curled up against the King's chest. The rumbling in his chest as he talked was a reassurance that he wouldn't leave. Not like Mother did.

Kichea smiled at her mate. "I see..." She mused at the pride's dwindling numbers. Was she driving them away? She did just show up one day...she shook the thought from her head as she lowered herself to the ground, leveling herself with Ceari. "Hello, little one."
"Hello, father." Shairi bowed her head a little, showing her respect. Her father was a great and caring lion. Wise and powerful, she knew. Would she ever find her king? She thought not, her duty was here. With her family. Jay and essence had left. She would not. Not yet atleast.

Ceari peeked out of the silver fur at the black lioness. "H-hi..." She rubbed her paws over her face, mussing the wet fur.
Akin nuzzled his Queen. "Love you." He turned his head to Shairi. "I must talk with you, daughter."

"O--Okay." Shairi said, her voice shaking a little with nerves.
Kichea cooed at the little one. "Aren't you the sweetest? I'm Kichea... Do you want to play with me?" She said softly, missing the days where her kits played with her as they grew.

The little Dark Song crept out from between her King's paws. "Su-sure..." She sniffled once and looked up at the Queen.
Akin smiled at his daughter. "There is nothing wrong, Shairi."
