Kohaku immediately drew her hand back as she noticed Mitsu's struggle to speak and utter panic in her eyes.
For a short moment, the mute silently watched Mitsu scramble for whatever she needed and run back out the door, not realizing how problematic the blood dripping out of her nose could be.
When the living room was quiet, the girl slowly made her way down the hall, immediately stopping when she saw Shun laying in the middle of it.
Moving down to her knees, she looked over the boy worriedly. What could she do for him? With her weak body, there was no way she could move him to a bed. Maybe he needed something?
With hands still shaking, she pulled out her notebook and scribbled down "Can I get you something?" It was much sloppier than she was used to writing, but still readable.
When she was done, Kohaku held it up to Shun's face, but not too close to where he couldn't read it.
Desmond hadn't moved since Mitsu left, wanting to conserve his energy for something else if it was needed.
It hadn't struck him until she approached, but he could smell fresh blood. Oh God no.
Immediately both hands went over his lips and nose, trying his damdest to fight his body's screaming urges for a taste. He knew it was Mitsu. It was always Mitsu. In an almost painful manner, the vampire forced his eyes shut, a soft whimper arising from his throat as he bit into his hand to try and fend himself off.
What was that sound? That horrible sound disrupting the noise of the waves crashing on the beach? It was a small distraction, but not a good enough one.
Well.
There he was.
There was Klyde, just in time to be too late.
"What?" She asked, her tone unfriendly. Her face probably matched, but there was no telling since she was keeping it towards the wall.

Blade didn't look up when Klyde thanked him. He had been watching her... yeah right. He supposed he had been sort of in the past couple minutes but that didn't matter. Once the vampire disappeared into the room, he pushed himself to his feet and went on into the room he had picked earlier on, locking the door behind him. With a sigh, he just flopped on down onto the bed.
Rendered immobile in the meantime, Shun just tried to relax as much as he could, but that wasn't easy with the amount of pain he was in. He was also worried about Mitsu still. When he saw some movement coming close, he looked over to see Kohaku approaching.
Oh great.. she couldn't talk. The assassin stared at the paper. He was too worn and in pain to really put a great deal of effort into trying to read it correctly.
"No," he said, deciding to just give a vague answer. Most likely she had written something that could be answered with yes or no.

"T..tell me what happened." Klyde tried to sound gentle with his tone and suppress the pain he was feeling still, though the tainted blood staining his shirt was starting to become a more pressing issue. He could feel the prickling burning sensation all down his front, the continued pain forcing him to prop himself up though he still felt himself sliding toward the floor. Now...would really be a terrible time to pass out again.
Mitsu was so preoccupied with trying to clean Desmond up that she barely noticed his pained expression. She just thought that and the whimper was because he was hurt. The wolf girl kept mouthing that she was sorry over and over until she was finally done. It was only then that she noticed the front of her face felt wet.
Bringing her finger tips up she pressed them to her lips, the blood having ran mostly down her face and her front. Oh! She started to mouth that she was sorry again, trying to back up and give the vampire some space. She had honestly no idea her nose had been bleeding. The sensation had been lost to her in the panic.
The bone crunching noise slowly faded out and Neko soon returned looking quite a lot better. It didn't look like he had been injured at all though his clothes still bore the evidence that he had. The feline was quick to move over to Desmond and Mitsu since they were both outside. Might as well check on them first and move down the line.
"Hey, you gonna be okay?" Neko asked reaching to place a hand on Mitsu's head. If one were to note, something looked different about the feline, though for those that didn't know him it would have been hard to spot. The tattoos on his arms had spread a little, now reaching as far as his elbows. "You need help?" Neko asked looking to Desmond since the vampire looked to be....struggling.

Kohaku frowned as she drew her notepad back and looked at the letters, a little upset at how sloppy they appeared. Had he just ignored it because it looked so poor?
At a loss of what to do, Kohaku just let out an inaudible sigh and had a seat next to the assassin. What had happened to everyone?
"What happened?" Riyo repeated, her tone picking up in volume. It looked like the paralysis from the syringe was finally wearing off.
Forcing herself to turn around, Riyo looked at Klyde with eyes that spoke of both anger and fear. "I almost got raped, Klyde!" Little drops of red started to stream down her cheeks, her body shaking, though why she couldn't really decide.
Desmond couldn't see Mitsu mouthing sorry to him, afraid to see the delicious drops of crimson falling from her face.
At the sound of Neko's voice, the vampire's eyes shot open, nodding a vigorous yes, though not daring to move his hands from his face. He didn't know what help the janitor had to offer, but anything was better than this.

Blade found himself staring up at the ceiling, lost in his thoughts for now. He felt like he was a terrible friend.. it really was no wonder that she had shoved him off like that moments ago.
As Kohaku sat nearby, Shun watched her for a moment or so before glancing away. The mute girl didn't seem too panicked or worried so perhaps things were alright after all. Even so, he couldn't stop thinking about Mitsu.
.. Come to think of it she was most likely with Desmond wherever he was. The assassin let out a soft sigh, then weakly shook his head to himself.

Klyde's eyes widened at what Riyo practically screamed almost happened. She...had almost been...raped? The though struck him deeply, driving him into a little panic. He had been out, no where close or even able to help. W...what if...she had been? The vampire wouldn't have been able to lift a figure against her attacker. Even now he had no idea where the man was, but he apparently wasn't here.
"I...." Klyde was at a loss for words. This really was a situation you couldn't just say sorry I ******** up. Forcing himself to stay upright, Klyde reached out a hand to Riyo under the bed to touch her hand, arm..anything really. Those crimson tears, while they stirred a hungry through the deepest pain he felt, left a deeper wound than the holy water ever could. If he had been able to be there...she would have had no need to cry. "It's okay now..." He tried to sooth.
Neko gave a nod to Desmond, leaving Mitsu to head over to the vampire. "Head on inside Mitsu. Go clean your face." He noticed the bruising around her neck but there wasn't much he could do about that.
Crouching by the vampire Neko grabbed an arm and slung it over his shoulder hauling Desmond to his feet. The vampire didn't need to exert much energy because it seemed Neko had it covered all on his own. What ever had happened he had gotten a bit of an energy boost from it. "Let's get inside....fair warning you bite me I will break your jaw." It didn't seem like he was joking though as he made his way inside.
Mitsu gave a short nod looking to Desmond shortly before she made her way back toward the house. Once inside she instead went to Shun's room to check on the assassin again. Normally there would have been a greeting, a question, anything at all but Mitsu couldn't muster a sound as she walked in, looking down at the solemn boy with worry.

Almost immediately Riyo smacked Klyde's hand away, pulling back like a frightened animal. "IT'S NOT OKAY NOW!" she actually screamed, unable to look past her own problems and see how hurt he was.
"I couldn't do anything. I couldn't save Mitsu... Hell, I couldn't save myself!" The feline began to choke on her words, having trouble pushing them out through the stream of tears and panic. "This goddamn body can't even protect itself.." She whimpered, covering her face with her hands.
"...Where were you?" She finally worked up the nerve to ask. "Y-you beat the s**t out of my friends for being nice... Then don't s-show up when some guy is shoving his hands up my s-shirt."
As Neko grabbed his arm, Desmond's teeth left the palm of his hand, old blood dripping from his mouth and a now gaping wound added to his list of injuries. Not that it wouldn't heal... Once his body recovered from being poisoned.
"Trying... Not to.." He pushed out with what little air he had in his lungs, letting out a sound of pain as he was lifted to his feet. He wanted to ask what happened... But he didn't dare breathe in and risk attacking the feline. Not after whatever he'd done with... that thing he'd been hauling.
As Mitsu walked in, Kohaku stood, a frown still apparent on her face. Giving the wolf girl a disappointed shrug, she went ahead and left the room. There was nothing she could really do, after all. It looked like everyone else was retiring... So maybe she should too.

Closing his eye for the time being, Shun didn't reopen it until he heard the light patter of footsteps drawing near again. Slowly, he looked and a sort of relief hit him as he saw Mitsu standing there. He stared at her, glancing towards Kohaku briefly as she went to leave.
His gaze shifted back towards the wolf girl, though he was expecting the vampire to come up from behind to embrace her or something along those lines at any moment.
That wasn't something he wanted to witness right now, and not because he was on the ground extremely vulnerable and bloodied. Even so his gaze continued to rest on her. There was something about this situation that made his heart rather heavy. As much as he wanted to hold her, she was out of his reach and he couldn't do that. It was a rather good reflection of how things were.

When Klyde's hand was smacked away he nearly lost what little balance he had right there. His eyes downcast to the floor in shame feeling more useless than ever before, that thought only clouded by another realizing he had probably changed the opinion of the only person who thought him not useless. "I...I was at the bus..." He started to explain feeling himself sliding toward the floor. "I..I didn't mean...to not be here."
Black spots had started to cloud his vision again. s**t...he really was going to pass out again wasn't he? That would be just perfect....just ******** perfect.
Neko had tired to be gentle but it was rather impossible fighting burns and unseen injuries. Once Desmond was in place Neko started to move toward the house, seemingly without a lot of effort. Mitsu was well ahead of them which he had made sure of. No doubt the vampire was going nuts over the blood.
Moving into one of the first spare rooms, Neko placed Desmond down on the bed. "I'm going to check on the others. Stay put." He said shortly before moving out of the room again. The feline would really need to go to the store now and pick up some of that bottled blood.
Mitsu just stared down at Shun for the longest time unmoving like the shock was still settling in. Suddenly she fell to her knees beside the assassin hands laying limply at her sides for only a moment before she moved them to his chest. Leaning forward Mitsu rested her forehead against his shoulder, trembling hands clutching the fabric of his shirt. "I'm so-" She squeaked out, arms reaching to wrap around him. If she would have had any idea...she wouldn't have ruined his birthday like this.

That was probably the worst explanation Riyo had heard in the history of everything. Didn't mean to not be there? Instead of replying, she crawled out from under the bed on the other side and over to her bag, ready to remedy the situation with the bottle of everclear she'd stashed at the very bottom. Always keep the strong booze with you in case of an emergency.
As Desmond was placed on the bed after what felt like a long trip, the vampire gave him a short nod and watched him leave. Once he was gone, he took the pillow out from under him and bit into it, the pain and the hunger overwhelming. He wanted to scream, but there was no way he'd let Mitsu worry about him. Or because of him...

While she stood there, Shun wasn't really sure what to do, seeing how he couldn't really do anything. His eye widened when she suddenly dropped to her knees and he worried that she had some injury that he couldn't see from where he was. So when she carefully leaned down to rest against him, he was surprised.
Staring for the moment, his eye softened as he attempted to try and get one of his arms around her. It was quite the struggle and it hurt to do so, but he eventually managed.
Having her here like this did wonders for soothing the pains in his heart at the least.
"You're safe... that's all that matters," he whispered.

Klyde could just feel the hurt and disappointment pouring off Riyo as he failed to explain. Honestly his mind wasn't working to well at the moment, his body screaming at him over the pain he was feeling. He needed to get out of the shirt he was in, clean the tainted blood away that was still burning his skin and even now giving off the faint odor of burnt flesh. His insides felt like a wreck his body almost hot and feverish which...should have been impossible. Still, he struggled to push his way up again as Riyo climbed out from under the bed. He couldn't just leave things like this. He didn't want to be a complete failure in her eyes as well.
"R..Riyo," He struggled, his voice suddenly wavering as he teetered on his feet. What should he say....what could he say? "I...I messed up. I..I never should have went outside." He was certainly regretful for having drank that blood, if he hadn't...none of this would have happened. He would have been there. "I...I know that doesn't mean much...considering what happened." His breaths were coming in quick and labored now as the pain continued to consume him. "I..." His vision had grown suddenly dark and for a moment Klyde was like an statue, frozen for all time with a look of pain on his face, though that look of pain wasn't just from what he was physically feeling.
Suddenly the vampire hit the floor with a loud thud, his body curling up unable to fight the pain any longer. He really was worthless.
Neko peeked into the room where Mitsu and Shun were sitting as he made his way through the house. While at first he wondered if something was seriously wrong it just seemed like there was a bit of a breakdown on the girl's part. It wasn't hard to imagine why. "Maybe we should get him on the bed..."
Mitsu looked up shortly hearing Neko's voice trying to rub at her nose to get rid of the blood. At least her nose had stopped bleeding for the moment.
Walking in Neko knelt down by Shun and lifted the boy up moving over to carefully place him in bed. "Stay here for now with him until I get back later with some blood for the vampires." Neko explained. That would be all he needed was the vampires to go nuts while he was away.
That was all Neko really said before he moved out of the room again and peeked into another to see that Kohaku was up and about. "You okay?" He was going to do his best to check on everyone before he left. He would need to hurry least some other s**t hit the fan.
Mitsu had watched Neko move Shun to the bed but had struggled to follow at first. With a great amount of effort Mitsu stood again, her legs looking like they might give out at any moment. She wanted to check on Desmond again too....but Neko had told her to stay here. What should she do? She couldn't even ask.

It was at that moment Riyo realized there was something wrong with Klyde. Something very wrong.
"Klyde?" Riyo turned around just in time to see the vampire collapse on the floor, the smell of burning flesh wafting through the air. Oh God. What had happened to him?
Setting the bottle aside for now, she moved to his side and started to look him over. He was covered in blood. Was it his blood?
"W-what happened?" She asked softly, touching his torso only to pull back quickly at the sensation the blood left behind.
"Oh God." She wasn't sure what it was at the moment, but it didn't matter. Immediately she pulled the shirt off of the vampire as fast as she could, not paying attention to the fact that it left small burns on her hands. Towel, she needed a towel!
There was a beach towel in her suitcase. "Hold on.." She was obviously still choked up, but the panic for him had temporarily overrode the panic for herself. Retrieving the colorful towel, Riyo tried to wipe off the blood as best as she could.
Her mind was starting to piece things together. Neither he nor Desmond had showed. The blood he was covered in was not his... It burned the skin.. And Klyde was in immense pain.
Holy water. Oh Christ, he drank holy water. Riyo couldn't even imagine how terrible he felt at that moment... "I'm so sorry..." She whispered, pulling the vampire into an embrace after she'd cleaned up most of the blood.
As Neko peered into her room, Kohaku nodded silently and went back to what she was doing, which was sifting through her suitcase. She'd packed her little keyboard among her clothes and seemed adamant about playing it right now, a sort of sad look on her face. It seemed like everybody was in high spirits here.

As always, the soft moments had to end. Shun opened his eye to see Neko checking up on them. The guy must have been dealt with then. Hopefully the janitor had not spared the man for he certainly wouldn't have. The mentioning of the vampires suggested that something happened with them as well, though it was hard to say what.
As he was being moved, his body tensed weakly and he winced in pain. Once he was set back down, he had another short fit of coughing, allowing a little more of the red substance to trickle on out. The spell must have really messed him up this time around.
When the assassin was able to relax again, he tried to look over towards Mitsu, unsure what she was going to do. She looked incredibly unsteady, but he could see a spark of conflict within her as well.
"Don't go yet..." he whispered. If the vampires needed blood then seeing Desmond would no doubt put her in danger, especially since she was covered in some of his blood. Most likely, there wouldn't be anyone to stop the guy either if he had lost it.

Klyde winced as Riyo jerked the shirt over his head, his torso covered in burns where the blood had been touching. The flesh was tender which only made him tense as she tried to wipe the blood away with a towel. It took everything he had not to scream. "Nnn.." He bit down on his lower lip, the hard enamel of his teeth piercing the flesh there.
"N..No I'm sorry." He managed as Riyo pulled him close. With effort one of his arms reached up to hold her in return. "I should have been there."
Neko paused for a moment seeing that sad look on Kohaku's face. It was going to take a bit to get everyone back to normal....maybe even longer than they had for this trip. "I'm going to head for the store just take it ease for a bit."
With that the feline made his way to the next room peeking in to see Blade staring up at the ceiling. The thief seemed to be in the same drab mood. "You fairing okay, man?" Neko asked. He only had two other people to find at this point.
Mitsu's dull eyes turned to Shun when he told her not to go yet. She...supposed she should probably listen. Bad things always happened when she didn't. Moving over to the bed Mitsu almost collapsed into the chair she had occupied earlier, leaning forward to fold her arms on top of the bed by Shun and rest her head down on top of them. She could feel her body starting to slow down.
