"You probably shouldn't walk on that until you get it healed," said Special as she sat down beside Judy, concern in her eyes. She decided to distract herself by playing nursemaid to keep her mind off of the bizarre situations going on around her.

I can't beat the feeling that I get when I'm with you!
"Those damn wizards! How dare they do this to me!" howled Laura. A nearby wizard, cloaked in an invisibility spell, shushed her, wanting complete silence. She snarled back at him, but kept quiet thereafter. She was just feeling incredibly annoyed that she hadn't been chosen to join the wizards infiltrating the factory. Sure they had agreed to letting her unleash a flurry of spells upon the complex once the defences were down, but she wanted right in the action from the start. For now she had to simply sit around, cloaked with an invisibility spell, until the defences fell. Waiting was not something Laura enjoyed.

scream Shizzle just got real!
Desirae stood firm during the glass shattering scream left behind by the Jester. Tina was on her knees holding her hands to her ears. "Believe it or not you can command the cybernetic enhancements to shut off your hearing." Desirae informed Tina through thought as the sound died out. "Why wasn't I told about that sooner?!" Tina complained with a scowl on her face. "I was going to get to that in the simulation but we were interrupted. Where is your sister?" she asked with panic in her voice. "I ran down the opposite hall!" came Elle's voice in their minds. "I spotted one and chased after it and...well now I'm sort of surrounded." she said with some hint of joking panic in her tone.
"Dammit!" Desirae yelled throwing around some crates quickly looking for something in a hurry. "If we don't hurry they could assimilate her with them!" she informed throwing the last crate against a wall. The crate splintered and two metal rods about six and half feet in length clattered to the floor. "Pick those up and stay behind me! Don't slow down!" she commanded and Tina did as she was told sprinting behind her aunt. "Elle, how are you fairing?!" Desirae asked. "Not too good. They keep trying throw some sort of dark grey gel at me. These things are fast for their size!" Elle explained and jumped around the room. "It's almost covering the room!" Desirae picked her pace and readied her bow. "Listen to me, don't touch that stuff and don't get caught in it. If you do you die and turn into one of them. I'm giving you two weapons to use. Just send electricity into the rods and they will activate on their own." she explained finally reaching the room and skidded to halt.
She got and arrow ready and kicked down the door and shot the arrow through two of the six Jesters bouncing around the room. Upon their death more of the terrifying sound echoed. Tina and Elle dropped to their knees but Desirae stood firm and shot another one. "Now give your sister the weapon and use them! This place will soon be crawling these demons!" She instructed. Tina, winced through the pain in her ears and javelin tossed a rod to Elle. "Elle get over here! I'm gonna blow this room sky high!" Desirae instructed and got what looked like a special made grenade from the pouch behind her hip. She pulled the pin and tossed it in when Elle lept past it as it was thrown. Desirae slammed the door shut and took off running, Tina and Elle hot on her heels. They took the nearest turn and kept going as an explosion five times louder and more powerful than several grenades put together could do.
"Listen you two I know this place is infested by now. I'm going to find the nearest computer and self destruct this laboratory. I need you two to ready your weapons and fend them off while input the codes and passwords." Desirae instructed as she rammed into a dark room that looked like a morgue. It had bunched of misshapen and disfigured animals and demons in large tubes that were lit a pale blue. "It's like something out of a horror movie. What is this place?" Elle asked covering her mouth with her hand.
"Get your weapons ready. This room was once used for biological engineering. Scientists feared that combining a human and robot together would make the humans go berserk and turn over to the robots side. So they experimented with captured demons and animals and tried to make a non-robotic weapon capable of taking down hordes of robots with little effort. These are their failures. All of them failed in fact." she explained while typing on a computer.
"HhheeeHeEhEHe!" a chuckle came from the darker parts of the room. Tina and Elle both sent electricity into their weapons and they flashed a bright light blue. Tina's weapon took the shape of an one sided axe roughly two to three feet from top tip to the bottom tip and a circumference to match. A spike stuck out of the back of it about two feet long. Elle's weapon was a naginata slightly mimicking the size and shape of a shamshir sword. About a three foot long blade and about a one foot in width. Both sisters stood back to back ready to fight what ever came from the shadows.

Tiberius chuckled to himself as he watched the small group of wizards sneak into the side door of the factory. While their invisibility spell kept them concealed and prevented the factory's defence system from activating, Tiberius could still see them. The infra-red vision in his robotic eye allowed for that. He slowly rose from his seat and made his way towards the group, remaining in the shadows. The clicking of his metal boots remained unheard amongst the din of the factory noises. He activated his built-in laser swords as the first wizard came within reach. No-one even noticed him until he made a quick swipe with his sword, lopping one wizard's head clean off. Blood spurted everywhere as the invisibility spell wore off and the now revealed body collapsed to the floor. A siren suddenly blared, screaming, "Intruder alert!" Tiberius growled angrily as the siren's wailing added to the factory noises that had been giving him a headache for the last few hours. He would just have to vent out his irritation on these poor wizards. Once the sirens had begun sounding, the wizards quickly reacted and began preparing battle spells. Tiberius gave them little time to do so as he swept in, his blades slicing every which way. He revelled in the blood that spurted from the fresh wounds he made as he chopped off one guy's arm and another one's leg. He had purposely had his laser swords designed to be able to cut through flesh like a hot knife through butter, yet not powerful enough to cauterize any wound as most lasers would do. He wanted to see all the blood, every single moment of pain his victim experienced. Tiberius had been so caught up in his blood rage that he barely noticed that the wizards now all lay dead at his feet, mostly missing limbs and staining the metallic floor with blood. It seemed like his fun was over for now, but hopefully there would be more victims waiting outside.

Dahlia often wondered what had become of the group she'd found, the last sign of humanity as she fought her own robotic tenancies. Maybe it was time to go back, show them her new core, and help kick some butt(where she could). Her hands fumbled at first, remembering all of the cartridges burnt trying to perfect an energy that wouldn't die on her, but it was worth it. The vial fit perfect into her new pack. I'd love to see that flying kid take this on now, she thought to herself, wishing she could smirk.
It's surging force lifted her from the ground and towards the unknowns again, she'd find them soon, she knew it. Hopefully they hadn't gotten themselves into too much danger in her stead.

(Welcome back Aria...if you don't mind me calling you that.)
Victor walked in place for a bit. With each step, his body began to heat up a few degrees more, until his body was white hot, and an aura of heat pressed off into the room.
"I need to do something! Tedium will claim me before old age does. Something, anyone?"
Victor walked up to Hadore, and stared him in the eyes, waiting for the long silent man to even whisper something.
"This is ridiculous."
A crash at the front door caught his attention, just as his rage seemed to have peaked. Pulling out a rune engraved scimitar with his left hand and a falchion with his right, Victor began rushed to the door and opened it...to find Pete had flown outside while they were talking.
"AAAAH!" Victor yelled, letting out a small explosion, flooding the room with heat and light.
Three brief, bright flashes of light engulfed the room during the course of the explosion, and when it passed, there was a circle of singed floor around Victor as he wiped sweat from his forehead as if he had just run a marathon.
"Sorry about that. Let me clean this up." Victor sheathed his swords and pulled out a very small book from his front pocket. "Regón." With this quick gesture, a small breeze came through the house, and with invisible hands removed the ashes and cleaned the floor.
"Sorry again. When I think about fighting I get into a bit of a rage. Now, where were we? Weren't we talking about the terms of my employment?"

Emma watched The fire Victor caused with curious eyes. The fire would have normally been exciting, but now it was inviting, to her. One of her fingers lightly traced along the clean hardwood floor, in curiosity. The floor was smooth and cool to her hands.
She stood up and paced over to where Special and the kid stood, to distract herself, because suddenly, she wanted to burn. Worse, she felt that she could send oceans of lava down their way with a snap of her fingers.
The magic was breaking through.
Looking slightly feverish, she smiled at Special. "Well, what happens next?"

It's epic to have you back, Ariadelle. biggrin
"Be careful you don't burn the place down," commented Special as she watched Victor's fiery display. As Emma walked up behind her and asked her question, Special turned towards her and replied, "I guess we just wait until the magical displays going on here end and we can finally go kick some robot butt. I have a score to settle with them." Memories of the slave camp flashed through her mind, but Special quickly swept them away. It was the past and needed to be put behind her. All that mattered was that she was finally free and could actually do something to stop the robots once and for all.

"I'm waiting on you guys." Victor smiled. "I figure the first would pass the time, and the second sort of burst out. Since Balgen and Hadore here are acting like the dead, how about you lead me to the bots? I need to work on my form."
Victor paused, looked at Balgen, and quickly added, "My fighting form, that is."
With a bit of a smile, Victor grabbeda chair and sat down, waiting for a plan to be formulated.

The flight seemed to take eons. How far had she really fled to find such a core as she did? Dahlia's mind raced as her pack screeched behind her. Hopefully she'd find them soon enough.

(I've had a really piss poor weak, sorry.)
Victor's display was a good enoguh reason to keep him around. "You're lucky you fixed it. Hadore would've thoroughly encased you in ice." he chuckled. "Now, employment. I'm the kind of person who generally pays in the good fortune and power kind of thing, but I guess I could make an acception. The payment for you shall be," he reached far down into his bag of items and pulled out a small amulet that was shaped like a dragon's head. "this. It's called a dragon amulet, big surprise, huh? It unleashes the true potential of baby dragons, less wait time on them being a giant death machine." Balgen said tucking the amulet back into his pack

"How about a little light Aunt Dezzy." Elle asked looking around the dark room. "Can't. They blew out the bulbs. Luckily this computer is still running." she answered still typing insanely fast. "This is going to be hard..." Elle retorted looking slightly panicked.
Suddenly several of those blobs came firing out of the darkness. Tina and Elle both back stepped each shot. Tina hit one of the test tubes and quickly ran behind it for cover. "You ok?" Elle asked peeking from around one of the tubes. "Y-yeah, luckily..." Tina said scratching the back of her head. Slowly the face of one of the Jesters slid out of the darkness behind Elle and smiled maniacally. "Look out!" Tina yelled dashing forward with her axe dragging directly behind her. Elle side stepped quickly and in time for Tina upper slash, slicing the Jester in two. "POW! AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!" the screams yelled as the rest of the group of Jesters bounced along to the area with the giant tubes.
Tina and Elle ran in between the rows of the tubes trying to keep the Jesters attentions. "Tina! You got one on your tail! Watch out!" Elle informed leaping with a turn to skid to a halt and thrust her naginata straight through the belly of the Jester that was gaining on her. The screamed commenced as Tina ran up a tube far enough to kick off and get behind the Jester that was tailing her. "Betcha didn't see that!" she said swinging her axe straight down, carving her enemy in two equal parts.
"H-h-hah-hahahaha!" Laughed one of the Jesters as they all started shooting that glop in various directions one of them almost hitting Desirae. "Hey! I don't know what you two are doing, but watch out!" she scolded. Another shot was fired straight at Desirae. Tina was light on her toes as she sped toward her aunt, sliding behind her and swing her axe like a hockey stick and slapping the ball of gunk back where it came from. "Great shot! How did you know that plasma could deflect that junk?" Desirae asked looking back at her savior. "I didn't! I took a guess." Tina admitted with a proud smile. "Hey ladies, lets get our minds back in the game please!" Elle shouted pushing a Jester back with the butt of her pole arm and making a wide horizontal arch cutting it at it's legs.
"I'm almost done you two, start making your way to the door!" Desirae commanded typing like her life depended on it. The agile ladies made a mad dash toward the door as Desirae hit 'Enter' on the key board and rushed to join her nieces. "Attention all personnel. This building will self destruct in two minutes. I repeat. This..." a voice called from the loud speaker as Tina and Elle followed their aunt through the maze of hallways. "Can we make that?!" Elle asked looking back at the horde of Jesters bouncing after them. "We can if hurry! Just stay close!" yelled a composed woman who knew too well her way around the laboratories.
"One minuted til self destruction." the voice informed as the three ladies made it to a slopped elevator. "You two close those giant doors quickly! We can trap them in." Desirae commanded as she started shooting lines of arrows blindly down the hall. The nightmarish screams were heard as Tina and Elle pushed hard on the giant metal doors. "forty-five seconds til..." the voice didn't get a chance to finish before Elle lost her patience "Shut up! We know!" the doors finally closed and the trio started their ascent upward as the the Jesters pounded on the doors. "Twenty seconds remain..." the three still charging fast as Desirae strapped one her bombs to an arrow and aimed up at their destination. "ten...nine...eight..." the voice continued as the arrow was shot and the path was cleared. "three...two..." the ladies all ran out into the light of day and across sand as explosions we starting to be heard.
They all were pushed hard by the explosion and knocked into the sand as geysers of sand shot up high and fire blasted all around the laboratories. "That's it...we made it." Desirae said standing up. "I knew you threw wild parties aunt Dezzy, but this one almost got us killed." Elle said falling back into the sand.
wink The people with Balgen should be ready. I have a surprise for them soon.
