It seemed the boat was not going to make it, and the moment it started sinking like before, Calder went and scooped it out, feeling a sort of direct hit from not having his craft float. His pride was taking a beating, and he squeezed some water from the little Devon flag he created. His kind would be so disappointed in him.
Last try. Looking at his little boat, he held it gentle and set it back into the water.

Not only had the boat sank, but the last time around, it sank even FASTER than before. Watching the little boat float down to the bottom of the bucket, Calder stood there, a deep frown set on him as he didn't move and just stared at his little boat.
Slowly, he reached it and took it out, letting the water spill out and breathing out. That hurt. That hurt terribly.
Ears down, he slowly walked back to his desk, very depressed. Once seated, he flopped his head down on the desk, hair spilling all around him and the desk, and just stayed that way.

Charlie frowned that Calder seemed so ... Upset! But the demon couldn't blame his friend. After all his boat had sank quite a few times. So Charlie sprang up from his seat and marched on over to the kelpie, a determined face all along the way.
"Hey!" He put one hand on the kelpies desk. "Your boat looked really cool and I bet if it were alive it would say that it was just practicing for scuba diving." Charlie crossed his arms and nodded.

The vast majority of the class had made their boats in a timely fashion AND floated them. Some students boats didn't float but that was okay because Savage really could care less today. They were making freaking boats in class! It was so awesome! A few students boats really stuck out to her like Buls and Malodores, mostly because she had been amused by the frustration it caused him more then anything. West's boat intrigued her the most though because it actually some how floated. Meropes display had still been her favorite thus far. Boat and a show. HOW GREAT!? Christof..... sent off some troublesome vibes though. After Calders boat trial and failure though the professor felt it was about time to start wrapping up. " Okay students!" She clapped her hands as she got up. " I think that its time to put our silly little boats down and actually wrap class up." It was almost lunch time and Savage had a sandwich at her desk with her name on it. That was assuming none of the other faultily members found it. "I hope you all have learned something today from having to build your boats. Its not always as easy as it looks. It is a bit of a wonder how the jack humans even CAME UP with such a thing. But, and I repeat because it is very important, humans opened the door way for terrors of the seas the moment they started exploring the vast open ocean." She puffed her chest out proud. "And for those of you that missed my FIRST class and for those of you who'd like to do the home work again..." The professor went under her desk and revealed a jar of purple slime. "The human evolve cycle over time is what we went over last time in class. please keep in mind this mini is not ACTUALLY a human just a ... ermm like these boats aren't ACTUALLY real sized boats. Its a demonstration. Study that chart and take care of your blobs." Savage looked at her watch. "Okay. Sooo thats it for today. Be sure to save your boats for next class JUST IN CASE." Quote: OOC Information* Post an rp response of your character grabbing a one of the gooey purple things out of the jar on savages desk and leaving. * Please include your MINI PET PROFLE AND MINI PET USER NAME in your post * People who did the home work last time can get more home work credit for doing the home work this time too. * People with homework from last time are free to keep the homework from last time as pets. * Do not sell or trade your home work : /

Calder peeled his face from his desk and looked up, hair a mess as he looked up at Charlie. While the pink-haired boil usually cheered him up, Calder's sagging frown only opened to a opening, gaping frown at the idea of his boat being a scuba diver. "If my boat was alive, it would beat me up." He held up the now wet boat, frowning at it. "I've failed it."

Riley reached out to take a new jar, putting it beside her old one and comparing the two.
See, little thing? You used to look like that. She told it. The green creature stared at the purple blob and reached out to try and snatch it through the glass.
.. Except I think this one shall be nicer looking. Perhaps I am biased. She patted the jar with the purple ooze, which wiggled happily.
Come, ride the SS. Riley to victory you odd little things. She opened both jars, planted them face down into her boat, and carried them out.
.. but not before poking Charlie with one of her tentacles one last time.

Charlie frowned and wrapped a long sleeved arm around his friend.
"Hey... cheer up emo kid," He patted Calders back. And then Riley poked him. Stunned, all Charlie could do was watch as Riley left victorious.
Riley a zillion, Charlie zip.

Wow that was it? The end of class for the day already? Well s**t this was... almost better than music class! Bul couldn't help but feel strongly attached to his boat and instead of leaving it behind or throwing it away, he decided to keep the miniature monster self as well as take the homework assignment.
"Kinda looks like the snotball..." he muttered staring at a jar with the purple goop. "....I hate purple but... you're pretty cool, I think we can be er... friends.." he snorted then looked up to Savage. "What if some freak accident happens and it does become a human... can I eat it?" Bul's face was as serious as the dead.

Christof slumped from his desk, the fire out of him it seemed as he eyed the jar. Homework was important to complete, although he had to wonder about those questionable squishy glorps. He didn't feel he deserved a prize, really, but all the same he gingerly slipped one out to cradle in his mismatched hands before lurching from the room before anyone tried to talk to him.

Well that had been a relatively painless class, cold wet feet and uncomfortable memory stirring aside. As they needed to save their boats she tucked hers under one arm as she went to pick up their 'homework'.
She fished around inside the jar, making a face as her fingers came in contact with the gooey things and yanked on out, stuffing it in the boat and wiping her hand on her dress. She gave a little wave at Lizzy, made a little call me mime before sloshing out and heading for her dorm to change.(( sayurinitta ))

That was surprisingly informative!
She held onto her boat as the teacher went on about the 'human evolve cycle', smiling as she listened; she was glad that she didn't miss this class a second time... That would be a downer. She had enjoyed this class, and was more than glad to hear that there was actually homework; its been a while. She could use the 'normal'.
Staring at Mac and his literal Mac Boat as she walked past the two to the desk in front, she nodded at the teacher and muttered a 'thank you' before picking up an odd purple, slimy creature from within the jar. She giggled at Arachne as the ghoul waved at her, before deciding to put the slime creature into her boat as well; there was a smaller chance of it being squished that way!
"Well, I wonder what you'll turn into," She poked at it gently before walking back to her desk to grab her bag before walking out of the class, ruffling Charlie's hair and patting Puppy on his head (he was sitting down, she couldn't resist!) on her way out.

Well, Malodore had learned something, all right - mostly that boats were horrible and terrible things, whether you were on one or building one. How had humans managed it? They must have died an awful lot to start with, falling into the water left and right.
Feh.
The plague doctor quickly got up and scooped up one of the glob-like purple things, studying it with curiosity. It hadn't gotten a close look at any of the blobs from the earlier class... hmm. Most intriguing. It bowed to Professor Savage, then picked up its boat (pinching it between thumb and forefinger) and slipped out of the classroom.

Whisper had gotten so distracted decorating her boat that she had forgotten to try and float it. However, she was very happy with the results of its appearance. She would definitely keep it and bring it to the next class, perhaps they'd have some sort of a race?
When Savage brought out the new version of their homework, she just couldn't pass up the opportunity grow another one. She happily skipped up to the front and grabbed one of the creatures, a large toothy grin spread across her face. "Thank you so much Professor!"
She held the tiny thing in her hands, gleefully staring at its wiggling body.

Since he was done with his boat thing, Jericho was content to just watch the others go up and take their turns to see if they floated or not. He couldn't help but raise an eyebrow at few of them... such as Mac's, whose boat seemed to be covered in macaroni.
Then, looking over to Professor Savage as the class was called to an end, he furrowed his brow at the chart and at the pink goo-stuff that was set out.
Humans... came.. from.. that?
The dragon still had a hard time believing that those weird frog things were basically what Humans once were. Then again, why would the professor lie to them? Even so, he just didn't know, so he decided to just not think on it too hard. Moving up towards the front of the room again, he went on and grabbed a piece of purple slime.

Lilith made sure to hold her anger and listen to the professor this time, profusely ignoring Draven. The boats meant little to Lilith, but she remembered the idea of boats opening the door to sea creatures every where. It didn't have a lot to do with her, being a reaper of the dead, but it was still interesting. What was most interesting was the evolution that was described and the purple blob that Lilith soon found herself picking up. At least it was a beautiful colour, that was a step in the right direction.
However, after picking up the assignment and her boat, she didn't linger in the classroom. She gave a down right dirty look at Draven, a flip of her hair and then left the room without a second look.
