Darion quickly made ice blocks from around his hands and pointed them at the incoming snakes as they came towards him, Suddenly his ice blocks began sending sharp needles at the snakes at high speeds, this would send all of the incoming snakes back at the ash men."Wait a minute...Maybe some of them are fakes and some are real..." As they ran, Jack didn't stop to see the results. He was more focused at the snakes biting at his feet with each step. He didn't want to imagine what would happen if he got bit so he made extra sure to swipe the snakes away. He heard Darion's inquiry on whether they are all real or not...but honestly he would like to figure that out at a later time.

Both fighters failed to take in certain attacks. Darion seemed so preoccupied with observing the ash men that he forgot about the snakes at his feet, so they easily landed a few poisonous bites on his ankles. Then Jack kept his head down to swipe at the snakes on the ground but forgot about the beasts still raining from above. One of the snake's fangs landed straight down into Jack's shoulder blades, poisoning him as well. Meanwhile the snakes simply fell through the ash men below, but a hard hit at the tree from one of them implied that these men were not without substance. A few others joined in as well, and with their strength the entire tree would soon come crashing down.

Darion swiped away the remaining snakes after he was bit from both ground and air alike. Darion instantly cooled his body temperature to slow down his blood pulse. He then froze then venom leaking out of the wounds which then froze the venom in his blood, this would stop the bleeding and the venom from entering his body. Darion quickly grabbed Jack and cooled his body temperature and froze the venom in his body as well. Darion then quickly slung Jack on . AS the tree feel Darion would pull out the ice shards in his body. Darion would jump onto a frozen platform and then began sliding away from the mob at high speeds while making a pathway of ice.

Jack felt a stinging sensation on his shoulder as he looked over only in horror to find a snake biting into his flesh. On reaction Jack quickly flung the snake away, still keeping a move on. But soon after Jack felt an icy cool run over his shoulders and then he felt himself all of a sudden being lifted up and flung over Darion's shoulders. Then before he knew it, they were travelling at high speeds, far away from the pursuing men and the falling snakes. Quickly however, Jack's attention was turned to his shoulder, still stinging..but not with pain, but with an icy chill. He saw that a good part of bitten area was covered in frost...it was then he just realized that Darion had probably just saved his life by freezing the poison from going any farther. Before any more damage was done however, Jack began to pick the poisoned ice shards out of his body..if they began to melt he would be in trouble again. His body temperature would melt the ice, putting the venom back into liquid form..luckily he removed the venom shards from his skin...albeit the process very painful. He grimaced as he pulled the shards but soon it was all over.
Slightly out of breath, Jack managed to say to Darion, "Thanks Darion.....probably would have died without you. Suppose thats why your level two eh". Jack softly laughed. They may have been out of immediate danger..but they weren't out of the woods yet.

The ash men struggled to follow but couldn't keep up. Those that got up on the ice and tried giving chase that way quickly slipped and fell instead. While most of the ash men were bald, one with long white hair glared after the intruders as they made their escape.
(you guys can exit to the bed of bones on your next post, but to you guys it'll still look like a swamp)

Darion looked forward while sliding on the ice."Well, It was a quickly reaction but it wasn't my first thought. I was going to throw you into the group...Only joking." Darion said as he chuckled.The two disappered into a fog.

Jack smiled at his joke as they rode along into the fog. Despite the bumpy exit the rest of the ride was pretty smooth as he felt his energy rejuvenate. His shoulder hurt a bit but it wasn't crippling. He was fully ready to take on the next challenge.

Darkness surrounded Darion, he tried to speak but words wouldn't leave his mouth, suddenly a bright light shone in the distance. The bright light consumed the darkness and Darion woke up sitting in front of fancy dinner table. He was at home with his family. Everything he hated was sitting at the table with him. His father and mother, the bullies from his old school, and a weird painting that scared him on a school trip to a museum was hanging behind the parents.The painting was that of a decaying head with maggots and worms coming out of the eye sockets, while black blood seeped from the pours of the face. The painting seem to come to life in his dreams. Suddenly everything began to deform into a demonic figure
The parents merged into one body with a bloody demonic face and deformed body with lumps and stitches. The parents turned to Darion and their mouth split open with razors sticking out of their neck. Blood drenched their tattered clothes. It reached out to him with it's deformed arms, worms and other bugs seemed to dig out of their skin as they stretched forward.
The bullies became into one big monster, With on big arm and one stubby mechanical arm. The face was wrapped in dry bloody bandages, the jaw had no bandages because it seems as if the jaw was ripped off clean, blood began to pour out of the mauled mouth.The stubby arm pointed towards Darion as it did the monsters chest began to cut open with multiple cutting and drilling tools such as circular saws, chain saws and drills. As these things reached the surface, organs and intestines flew across the table , spraying blood every where.
Last was the painting that already seemed to be deformed began to come out of the frame with sharp claws that looks as if they were made of old bloody bones, flesh dangled from the claws. Slowly the whole body seemed to escape from the painting. The smell of the rotting body seemed to fill the room. The rotting organs seemed to hang out of a steel cage that hung from the spinal cord. The decaying monstrosity walked slowly across the table.
Darion quickly got up from his chair and ran for a door.The three monsters walked towards Darion slowly. As he reached the door he began to push and pull on the door as he turned the knob, it was locked shut. He heard the laughed of the monsters as they approached him.The parents reached for him saying."How could you abandon us, you betrayed us as if we were nothing..." They said in sorrow then screamed like a banshee shattering all the glass in the room. The deformed mechanical monster's tools reached for Darion ready to shred tear and drill into him. The demonic laughter of the machine could be heard close behind.
The clanging of the living picture was close."Come, I'll turn you into a master piece.." It's said as it chuckled. As they went to grab Darion he woke up panting.
Darion woke up in front of the entrance to the Forbidden Jungle with Jack to his side. Darion shook of the fear and waited for Jack to wait.

This Wendigo underestimated Jack. Hah! Worst nightmares ever? Jack had those so called nightmares every night. The only difference was that the nightmare constantly repeated itself this time around. It was the same thing. Jack enters building. Jack beats up henchman. Jack gets caught. Jack is forced to watch as the leader rapes and kills his girlfriend...Jack ends up slaughtering the entire room. It happened at least 5 times in a cycle is Jack could remember how many times it repeated itself. Despite this...despite how many times he viewed the same scene over and over again, it was never got any easier to watch.
Eventually his eyes opened wide open, sitting up all of a sudden like Frankenstein's monster yelling, "Myra"! He breathed heavily and he felt sweat trickle down his cheeks. His usual demeanour when waking up in the morning. When he first was having those nightmare, Jack always used to wake up crying....but he steeled himself since then, hardened his heart until no tears came.
He turned his head, calming down...he saw Darion,,and the fence that marked the start of the Forbidden Forest....it looked like the Wendigo arranged their transportation out of there. "Darion...you alright? How long have I been out"?

Darion looked over to Jack and smiled,"I'm fine...What about you? Are you well enough to get back to Arthur?" Darion said as he stood up and looked at his dirty clothes, he could go for a change of clothes at the moment but maybe it would be better to head back and give Gunner their report.

Jack stood up, shaking himself to loosen himself up. Stretching he said, "I am fine. It looked like the Wendigo was ever so kind enough to transport us to the edge of the forest. The school should be less than an hour walk from here". Walking over to Darion, he said, "We should go make are report back to Gunner".

"I will not die until I achieve something...even though that ideal is high I will never give in...therefore I shall die with no regrets." Emma took her steps forward, she had to carefully focus...if she was going to find this hermit then she couldn't miss hearing his singing, so she wore her headphones around her neck. Right now things were peaceful, but that may change quickly as she searched the entire jungle for a single person...this may be a little tough considering the size, but she had faith in herself.
