Ze waited until the first load of laundry was done before he started getting himself ready to go to the grocery store. As he switched out the loads and started to put the second load in the washer, he felt something bump his leg and dug into the pocket of the jeans he was currently holding. He pulled out a phone and frowned, "Okay then, saving that to bring back to Devon." He said, putting the phone on top of the dryer before putting the rest of the load into the washer. He started the washer and dryer, then pulled on his sneakers, grabbed his wallet and left the house, making sure he had his keys in his back pocket. Ze made his way to the grocery store and got the food Devon needed, including medicine for his cold. He returned home and put the food in the refridgerator in the garage to save until the laundry was done so he'd only have to make one trip. He checked on the laundry and put the second load in the dryer, carrying the dried clothes into the living room and folding them. He made sure those clothes were folded and sat back to wait until the second load was done. He took that load out and folded those clothes before getting the groceries and putting the bags in a beach bag and starting back for Devon's apartment, making sure he had Devon's phone, his wallet and keys. It only took about ten minutes for Ze to get to Devon's place again and he opened the door, balancing the laundry basket on one arm, the bag of food on the other.

When Ze opened the door, Devon was laying upside down on the couch; his head hung off the edge of the cushions while his legs were draped over the back of the couch, his nose burried in his book until he heard Ze walk in. Raising his eyebrows and sitting up right, Devon let out a low whistle, smirking. "Maybe I should get sick more often if you plan on doing the grocery shopping and housekeeping for me." Devon teased as he got up from the couch and walked over to Ze, genuine surprise masked his face as he took the folded laundry from the other, lifting up a folded shirt as if it were a diamond or something of a rare and valuable sort, "Hmh, I never pictured you knowing how to fold laundry." he joked before he headed off toward the bathroom to put away his clothes.

"Bite me, Jackson," Ze growled, his voice softer than it usually was, "Even if I don't seem the sort, I don't like to see a dirty living space and I know having food in here will help with your cold." he went to the kitchen and put the stuff away quickly so the stuff that was supposed to be cold wouldn't go bad. "I got food that will help the medicine I got you to get rid of your cold. Soup, some fruits and vegtables. Meat...um..." he scratched the top of his head some and put the medicine next to the kitchen sink before putting the last of the groceries away. He noticed Devon was almost out of ice and took out the trays, filling them with water before putting them in the freezer again. Then the boy stretched some, messing up his black hair carelessly, "Is there anything else you need? I'm not doing anything and I could get it for you..." he said, shoving his hands into the pockets of his pants and leaning against the counter behind him as he waited for an answer.

"Hmm, something I need, something I need... Oh, I know;" Devon pondered aloud, waltzing right into the kitchen and up to Ze, placing his hands on either side of the boy on the counter as he looked him in the eyes, both curiousity and cockiness brightened his maroon colored eyes, "what I 'need' from you is to answer my question. What on earth did you have running through your mind when you all of a sudden decided to spell out your crush to me while I'm sick? Do you have any idea how much torture you've put me through? Keeping myself from kissing you to keep you from getting sick is hard work, you know." he said in a serious tone, a playful smirk tugged at the corner of his lips as he waited for that blush that'd most likely send him over the edge and bring him to the point where he wouldn't care if Ze got sick.

"Eh?" Ze was surprised at Devon's action and looked up into his maroon eyes, leaning back some and putting his hands behind him on the counter. He swallowed, feeling his face heating up as red colored in his cheeks. He shrugged nervoulsy, "I-I just...i-it seemed like good time. I-I just completely forgot you were stick and I...I mentioned I liked someone when I was trying to get rid of Penelope and...um, I thought I'd spell it out and see if you liked me back..." he said softly.

It took quite a bit of effort for Devon to keep himself from erasing the slight space left between the two's faces, but he pulled back, a smirk filling his features as he walked out of the kitchen and headed off toward the bathroom. As he walked away, however, Devon called back to Ze; "Just so you know, when I'm over this cold, you can count on never having a moment to yourself for a while." with a small laugh and he shook his head with a bit of nihilism toward this outcome.

Ze relaxed some when Devon moved away from him and gave a small sigh, then tensed again at his words. "Eh?! Uh, um...eh...." He said, color flooding his face as he twiddled his thumbs. He wasn't sure what he should do now, so he just went into the living room and sat on the floor. The boy looked around absentmindedly before pulling out his phone. He started playing a game on it and leaned back against the couch, concentrating on the game as he tried to take his mind off what Devon had said.

Reaching the bathroom, Devon pulled out a clean shirt and pulled it over his head, shaking his head to try and make it look somewhat decent, but it still was a mess. Shrugging, he walked back out into the kitchen, "So, I'm assuming that you got me various items that I would have to cook myself, right? I hope you know that I'm a terrible cook." he said, opening the fridge and peering in, grabbing an apple and leaning against the counter as he took a bite out of it.

Ze hummed to himself at Devon's words as he pursedd his lips, "Um, most of the food I got you is actually pretty easy to cook. Some of the things can just be thrown in the microwave, but if you need help making some of the other stuff I can come and try to help. I cook a little bit at the cafe and sometime I help my aunt. The real person you want to ask for help with that is Rose, she's a great cook." He said, finishing another round on his game.

Nodding, Devon walked into the living room and sat down on the couch beside where Ze sat on the floor, grabbing his book that he was reading before and picked back up where he left off, taking another bite of his apple as he brought his legs up on the couch and folded them.

Ze continued playing his game for a while before turning it off since his phone was low on battery and pushed himself to his feet. He stretched, cracking his back, neck and knuckles before sighing and shaking the bangs from his eyes. He went to use the bathroom and came back out as his phone ran. He looked at it, seeing Rose was calling and he picked it up. "Hey Rose," he said, listening to what she was saying. He frowned some, "Can't Ted come in? It's my day off...." He said, sighing again. Apparently the cafe was low on workers today and they wanted him to come in to work. "Look, I've over Devon's and..." he paused to listen and his face turned a bright red, almost looking like it was glowing. "NO! We are not doing that!" he growled, turning his back on Devon so he wouldn't see. He went to the window, "Fine, I'll come in if it'll shut you up! No, no, no it's fine. Rose, don't you dare han-!" he stopped as Rose hung up, laughing. Ze cut the connection off and sighed once more, banging his head against the windowframe in irritation.

Devon just so happened to be finished with his apple and needed to throw away the core when Ze received a call from Rose, and he couldn't help but listen to Ze's end of the conversation. He busted out laughing when Rose hung up on Ze, and he grinned at the other, whom was obviously embarrassed, "She's a sharp one to realize that I liked you before you did, or at least notice that I knew you better than someone who should loathe you, you know. That or you're just extremely slow." he joked, returning to the couch with a smirk, "So when do you get off then? Since you're going to be leaving me here all by lonely myself, I need to know how much time I have to waste until I get to bug you again." he teased with a brilliant grin.

Ze shook his head and mock glared over his shoulder at Devon, "Shut up, Jackon, you didn't exactly get the hints I was trying to throw at you that I liked you. I'm not a genius..." He said, pocketing his cell and going into the kitchen, where he grabbed his keys off the counter where he'd dropped them. "They just want me to work from noon to three. If you have nothing else to do, you can come with and I can get you some soup or something." He said.

Devon rolled his eyes, "At least I didn't 'try' to 'impress' you." he said, then he laid back on the couch and grabbed his book again. "Nah, I think I'll just sit here and read; I've gotten behind in my books and I'd really like to know the ending of this one at least by the end of the year." he joked, getting comfortable.
