Aksaja blinked as Israfel quite suddenly started babbling on about being able to make it by air. But hey, it looked like Jericho and West were the only other team flying, so maybe most of the . . . tentacle-things would go after the larger amount of people on land.
Maybe.
Aksaja blinked as the Siren backed up and then jumped off the edge. "Well, our turn, Viet," he mumbled to the Mimic that he'd been carrying about tucked under one arm. The minipet was actually fairly well behaved, other than nibbling on his arm now and again. Taking a deep breath, Aksaja also headed for the edge and jumped off, wings swooping downward to try and get some height.

[Rolling for all three Invisible Dog NPCs!]
As if connected by some invisible bond, all three invisible dogs, in their respective locations, howled out before launching at the tentacled enemy; they can do this! Three is better than one (Vlad) anyway! One day, Malcolm will understand the greatness of the triplets and actually take them out for hunting trips and stuff.

Christof had never seen his friend change before, but was fascinated more than anything. True forms was something he was only recently wrapping his head around, and still it was a bit foggy. Even so, he was eager for the chance to ride that speedy creature once more... even if it was a bit... awkward, really... but this horse at least had not tried to dismember or trample him, and in his book that made it the best horse of all. After seeing the madness unfold ahead of them, he was also glad to hopefully be a bit safer on horseback. Awkwardly, he climbed aboard, a grunt and a hand motion to Scruff who happily obliged trotting about Calder's feet merrily. Was he ready? The hunchback certainly was. Just as he had figured out last time, he gave the beast a kick and they were off-

Calder was still new to the whole passenger thing, but that was the point of all of this. Hopefully with everyone distracted with their own problems, they wouldn't notice a white horse trotting by. Right now, his main concern was not falling over the side into the abyss, being lured in by the water, or dropping Christif. It was all a big test for him, but eh - he was a kelpie. He could handle anything! Well, aside from ladders. Ladders sucked.
Rising up, he looked at Scuffle and snorted at him, not liking the idea of a dog moving about his feet. He just didn't want to trample the little guy. Hopefully it would be smart enough not to go under his feet.
Having no time to dally, he felt a kick to his side and took off... but not to the water. Calder's ears went back, having wanted to go into the water course, but it seemed that Christof had other things in mind. Land?! They were taking the LAND course. LAME!!!!!
Grunting, Calder looked back to huff at Christof, but turned his attention back on the LAME LAND COURSE as he took off.

Dragain Out of the pit, two purple tentacles rose just as they jumped into the air, grabbing onto West's and Jericho's ankles, slowly pulling them down into... Well, you don't really want to know what lies at the end of the tentacle, or what awaits you in the pitch black darkness of the seemingly bottomless pit. It was like the scene out of a badly made over-PG13-rated movie from Japan. In front of them, another tentacle appeared from the pit, a Nautical perched on the end. Like it was a baseball, the tentacle flung the "wild" minipet at Jericho's Minipet, and it wrapped its tentacles around it before happily sucking on its FEAR. Then, the tentacle gave West's Minipet a good whack before vanishing into the pit. GET IT OFF, WHUT?!JERICHO: Roll 2 10-sided dice to see how much damage you can do to it! Things seemed to be going ok. Well for her anyway. How the little bad luck cat felt was a mystery to her. Whisper watched Curse walk beside the the pup, and it seemed as though they were talking. She would have loved to have understood what was being said, but alas she was not fluid in the language of the mini.
"Really, no pants? I don't think I've ever seen anyone walk around with no pants on. Ms. Whisper is only ever without clothing in her bathroom. She's very private with those sorts of things." Curse was rather befudled by the pup, but had decided he wasn't so bad. He had dealt with worse after all.
Out of nowhere, one of the nauticals appeared, wrapping it's tentacles around Curse. He was unable to move quickly enough to dodge it's attack, so alas he was helpless. Whisper gasped and ran towards it. "Give him back!"
She began to hit the nautical in an attempt to loosen its grip.

It was an odd swaying sort of flight, and Castor was just kind of chilling out, hanging useless in the siren's arms. Until a tentacle smacked it across the face. With a yelp, Castor proceeded to freak the ******** out, trying to climb away from the tentacles. Apparently Castor had a fear of tentacles. Probably due to an incident with Cuthulu or something. Still by climbing over his owner, Castor caused Israfel to flail about mid flight. In his defense, this was like how he normally attacked anyway. Minipet HP: 12 Damage to tentacle: 8

Then suddenly, something blue landed in front of astra. She had enough time to realize it was a nautical thing before it launched itself at the minipets. "Watch out!" The fairy called out but it was to late; the creature smacked into one before wrapping itls tentacles around Ryu. The shenglong let out a ferocious snarl, but it was unable to do anything about it's current predicament "Let him go!" Astra shouted, summoning her oak staff in order to try and smack the nautical away. Ryu's HP: 20 - 9 = 12 Julius HP: 23 Enemy's HP: 20 - 4- 4 = 18
