"It's never that easy." Hiro said. Suddenly the room begun to shake, throwing the rangers off balance. "What the...?"
Hiro heard something and turned his head well before the others noticed anything. Dashing over to the staircase that hugged the walls of the circular tower. What he saw sent chills down his spine, even though he knew it was just a simulation. Coming up up the staircase where living skeletons which wore and armed with nothing more then a loincloth, a viking helmet. Despite them having not muscles of any kind they were coming up the staircase at an impressive speed, brandishing their broadswords and shields.
Hiro sidekicked the first "viking" skeleton to reach the top. Hearing something else, Hiro turned his head to see a few others had crawled up from ground and were coming from the windows and were about to attack Ryu and Kira. "Watch out!" he yelled, summoning and firing his Kouken Gun at the monsters, the blasts zipped past his comrades, only missing them by centimeters.
Running quickly back to the group, Hiro pushed down the the wing lever of his Kouken Brace. "Everyone, change!"
"Kouken Change!"
After they all transformed Hiro noticed a timer of some sorts. He recognized as old Kanji for numbers. It read: "14:60" Their mission had begun.
((There will be few other tasks as this thing progresses that I -and maybe Itami- will introduce when I see fit. Remember, this is meant for character interaction, unlike the last thing I did.
After this we'll have few exchanges of dialogue -for more character interaction/plot advancement- and soon after -a few posts- we'll take on Sai's first monster.

*Evan followed along, trying to remain cautious at first due to almost being hit by that dart. However as they approached the tower he began to get a bit more lax since they hadn't bumped into anything in a while. By the time they placed the sphere on the pedestal, it hit Evan that this reminded him of a movie he once saw. Once being dozens of times. Before he could say anything however the deed had been done and the place began to rumble. Trying hard to keep his balance, and slightly failing, he went up against a nearby wall and braced himself for a moment till it was over.*
I suppose that orb acts like Taco Harp's food to any normal person's stomach. Won't be surprised if that was just the first upset rumbling it gives off. *Curious to what Hiro went off to do near the stairs, Evan was stopped from seeing as the skeleton warriors began crawling up from windows and through the ground itself. Gulping a bit at what the hell they could be and temporarily forgetting that this was essentially an illusion, he froze up for a moment. After Hiro called out for everyone to change, he nodded to his fellow teammate before the worry went away. They were after all essentially superheroes.*
Kouken Change! *Looking for the black button for a moment, he realized that the braces had been changed to no longer be generic like that. Panicking for a moment again, he quickly rolled out of the way from an oncoming sword. Backpedaling a bit, he looked more at his brace before noticing a wing lever on his as well. Hitting it, he transformed into Kouken Orange. As the viking that attacked him moved to slash at him again, Orange weaved out of the way before kicking it in the rib area. The impact knocked the skeleton away and over the side of the tower.
It was at that time that Evan had noticed the Kanji symbols.*Uhhh, does anyone read Egyptian? I think those butt sniffing monsters we fought earlier hacked us and are sending us spam mail. *Too distracted, Orange was hit by one of the Viking warriors and stumbled over towards one of the windows, stopping himself before coming close to toppling over it. As the skeleton ran over to swing down at him, he brought his arms up to block and grab the club weapon it was using. After a small tug of war between the two, Orange placed his foot on the skeletons midsection and pushed upwards. Sending the skeleton over his head and out the window, he looked out it for a moment to see it flail about as it fell down towards the ground.*

Ryu jumped to the side, just barely missing being hit by a sword slash. "Kouken Change!"
The transformed red koukenger moved as quickly as possible and began to fight back the monsters. He punched and kicked them, even knocking a few heads off. He noticed the kanji as well and thought for a moment. "I think its a timer...14:60 if i am not mistaken..i could be wrong...egytian kanji was never my strongest."

"I think you're right." Hiro said towards Ryu, elbowing a skeleton out of the way. "Whatever it is, we only have 14 of something to figure it out."
Hiro realized that were being quickly outnumbered. Each of them were fighting well, but with each skeleton they took out, two more took its place. As he was sure they all realized by now, they were being boxed in around the sphere's pedestal. There has to be way to even the odds. Hiro thought. "Anybody got any ideas?" he asked, quickly surveying the room again while taking another fodder.
((Got another surprise in store. Not even Itami knows about it. Beware.))

*As the group was being overwhelmed and pushed into the corner, their defense on the object was faltered too much in the face of the numbers of skeletal warriors. One of them slunk past their guard and hurried as fast as his bony legs would take it, snatching the orb from the pedestal and moving it's way back into the massive wave of enemies. With the orb gone, the place began to faintly shake at first before a large tremor was felt. As it went back to small shaking, it seemed apparent that things would go terribly wrong if they didn't keep the sphere in place.* This isn't good. Either Kingzilla is outside and stomping around angrily, or the whole placed will come down, us with it, if that ball is removed. And I don't think the no-skins team is going to let us get it.
*Scanning through the crowd of skeletons while trying his best to dodge, punch, kick, and shoot at the oncoming masses of enemies, Orange tried his best to see where the thief had taken the orb. Finding it hard to maintain looking and not getting his butt handed to him, he dodged a club swing before being hit by a sword and sparking a bit. Grumbling at this, he shot multiple times while screaming like some mad-man from a movie. Though his aim was terrible, there were so many of the enemy that each shot struck one of them down.
As he fired, a skeleton moved in and smacked his hand and the gun into the air.* Yowch! Damn things! *Kicking the fodder away he quickly moved over, slightly using his powers to react it, and grabbed the gun from the air. Firing several more times at some rushing enemies, the placed rumbled harshly for a second time before returning to the smaller tremors again.* OK Spandex team, we really need a game plan here! I'm not looking forward to my tombstone reading "Crushed in battle against malnourished bad guys over an old ball in an even older tower."

"I gotta agree with you there Orange Boy." Kouken red scanned the room, trying to find the orb. Then he had a thought. What if the orb was in the center of the mod? It would be the perfect place to hide..as they say, in plain sight.
"Uh guys...i dont know why but i think i know were the orb is. I am gonna make a break for it...cover me." With that Ryu charged into the mob of monsters.
"Lets pray i am not crazy..." He said to himself.

((@Sai. Edit your post bro. Enhanced vision is your secondary power and thus wont manifest until Itami and I give the go ahead. 3nodding ))
"We got to get that Orb back!" Hiro said as the room continued to shake more and more violently with each passing second. The shaking had caused some of the fodder to break their tight formation, however it quickly came obvious that they seemed they were keeping them away from the orb.
Realizing their powers, Hiro got an idea. "Orange, we'll hold these guys off. Use your speed to try and catch up to sphere. Red help him out."
With that, Kouken Violet fought on holding of the horde as best he could.

Kira heard Hiro's warning and quickly changed and spin kicking the skeleton going right towards her. Because they were just simulations, she did not have to deal with the creatures' emotions. Thus, she was more focused at the task at hand. She noticed that they were being boxed in and that a skeletons grab the orb. Then, she heard what Orange said. "I was about to say the same thing, but not as comical as you." She said with a slight smirk. She knew it probably was not a good time for it, but he just had that effect on her. Then, Hiro had an idea, and she helped him fight off the goons that were near him.

"Duh." Pratt said, rolling his eyes. "You could have said the same thing about us. We just need to figure out what they want to do with that power. We can't have another group obtain it and rule the world. That's our job." He said with a mischievous smirk. "I was getting there, Pratt." Bertil said in an annoyed tone. "If I get close to the girl, I might could infiltrate their base and get the information we need." Bertil said with a grin.

*Though he was pretty confident, up to this point he hadn't been able to consciously speed up. Gulping a bit at this, he nodded to Violet and scanned around quickly. After another big shake and with the fodder being stumbled about, he noticed the path he could take to where the thief had fled off too. Running, he realized quickly that he himself was not blasting forward. Closing his eyes tightly, he focused the best he could.* Come on Evan, come on. You can do this. Your super speedy, like The Dash. Your speedy. Speed up! Speed up Evan!
*Feeling his momentum picking up, he opened his eyes and was rushing forward at greater speed than before. Getting a bit cocky, he let out a laugh and continued rushing through. Suddenly however, his foot caught a piece of the floor which had shifted upwards ever so slightly. Immediately he was flipped upwards from his running motion, in slow motion his mind raced with how bad this was going to end up. Tumbling through the air, then onto the ground, he came to a crashing halt.
Luckily enough, the crashing motion landed him straight into the fleeing skeleton and smashed them into a pile of bones from the impact. As Orange shook his head to get himself to stop seeing the room around him as spinning, he noticed the orb had literally landed in his lap. Taking the orb in hand and getting back up, he wobbled slightly from another light rumble and his nascar style crash. Running back towards the group, he was cut off by the multiple skeletons wielding swords and other various weapons. Ducking and dodging, he made some progress getting back but was going to need some assistance to actually make it back to the pedestal.*

Kio saw orange get the orb wich made him smile. Apparently he didnt need to charge in like a fool. But his teammate needed some help. So he did what he did best, rush in. And that is what he did. He began to clear the way for Orange to get to the pedistol. "Yo! We got your back orange! Go for it!"

The room was shaking viciously now. Like a tornado had struck the tower.
Kouken Violet noticed that the sphere had been retrieved. "Good job you two," he said, taking out a skeleton with a chain two kicks. With everyone's help, they managed to clear a path for Evan to get the sphere back to the pedestal. The rumbling stopped, "calm" once more.
Hiro fired his gun, taking out two fodder. Spinning the gun on his finger, he relaxed slightly and looked over at the timer. His eyes opened wide. "What?!"
3:32 it read.
Before he could process it fully, Violet's HUD began to scream at him. More skeletons then ever were coming up through the cracks and surrounding them. Their problems had only just begun.
((Yes. I could have introduced the next thing they would have to do. But it just seemed more natural/fun for them to react to the situation. 3nodding Feel free to ask what happens next. xd ))

*Having the path cleared, Evan managed to make a dash towards the pedestal. While not super speeding, despite mentally trying to get himself to like before, he still did good on returning the orb to it's proper place in time. Sighing a bit in relief, he had only a second or two to breathe before having to turn and block a club swing from one of the skeletons. Kicking it away and taking out the gun weapon once more, Orange began to fire at the oncoming wave of bad guys.
Not knowing how to read the time limit, as well as having forgotten there was even such a thing, he continued to do his best to fend off the skeletons from getting to the orb again. To him, that was the sole part of his mission. As he blasted a few of them over, his helmet also began to light up with information of the increasing number of bad guys.* More of them? How many people died at this tower?? Did some kind of giant octosquid toss the leftovers of his lunch at this place like a glorified trash bin? *Trying not to loose focus on how much more overwhelmed they'd be, he continued to fire into the skeletons in front of him while avoiding being smashed or slashed by their weapons.*

Ryu grunted and punched skeleton after skeleton before him. He was hit over and over again but this didn't stop him. He needed to keep those skeletons away from the orb. Groaning and was knocked back by a heavy club right to the feet of Orange. "Yo...that was one cheap flight eh?"
Ryu jumped up to his feet and cracked his arms. "ow...that stings."

((Well, I guess that's A reaction. :XP: ))
"Red, you okay?" Violet asked, moving in to keep the skeletons off his teammate until he compose himself. Nodding his head at Ryu's response, Hiro looked around for the third time, his eyes falling on the console before.
Hiro shot a glance at the timer before making a dash over towards the console. another small skeleton horde got in his way. "I don't have time for this" he declared, jumping and front flipping over them. Violet landed next to the console and quickly made his way to face its controls. "There's gotta be something more to to this." he said aloud.
Violet noticed a rusted, long lever protruding from the side. Looking at it closer, he noticed two narrow lines on it. Hiro pulled on the lever it wouldn't budge.
"Wait," he said to himself, noticing the console had some sort of carved display or diagram on it. The display depicted what he assumed was the tower itself, scaled down to fit on the console's surface. At the top was a small rectangle, the room they were in now. There was aslo small, worn out text in a language he didn't recognize, with the same two small lines, matching the ones on the lever. Looking further down was what resembled a staircase and at the very bottom was more scrawled out text.
Hiro looked at the lever before looking back down at the display. "It couldn't be that simple could it?" he asked himself quietly.
"Guys,," Violet said. "we need to find a second lever!"

((Cracking arms? Owch. He has physical endurance, but anything like that will probably linger a bit after a fight.))
*Busy battling, Orange stopped himself from dodging for a moment. Slashed across the chest by a sword, he stumbled a bit.* Yikes! I almost tripped over you, Red. *Blocking the next sword swing with his gun and headbutting the skeleton, he followed up by firing close range and knocking it apart before firing several more times at a group of skeletons charging both him and Red.
As he continued to fight, he noticed Violet break off from the rest of the group to look at something. Wanting to join him in seeing what he found, but too busy fighting to keep the sphere safe, he could only guess what was found and hope that it would help them out in some way. Kneeing a skeleton before punching it away from him, he turned to Violet's direction for a moment after he shouted something out.* What? Find a lever?
*Firing into another frenzied group of fodder, he turned his attention back towards Violet.* What is this, Burial Raider? Yeesh. We must have some failed game programmers working for us or something. *Dodging another club swing, just barely, he fired into it's head and caused the rest of it's body to stumble backwards and break apart on the floor.* So..er...what do we do then?? We can't just leave The Orb Of A Thousand Shakes. *For a moment, Evan's mind wandered to the idea of having a delicious shake, his guard dropping enough that a skeleton came to his side and slashed him. Sparking a bit, he stumbled back onto the pedestal. Making sure not to disturb the orb however, he braced himself against it and pushed himself back into the fight.*
