(Yep, sorry bout that, I will bear that in mind for now on, just that I didn't have a lot of time on the computer then, now I got school work toppling over me).

(Oh um, I really don't know the time zone of this role play, you should keep everyone "up-to-date", not that saying you're bad at it or anything, but in general for everyone. Cause I even have trouble keeping track, therefor could possibly confuse everone else.)

Ryoku was just finished with his dinner, seeing that it was getting really dark by the looks outside of the window, it was best to finish up, he still didn't know where he was his room, hopefully Ryoku wished he had more time to work on other latest inventions he's got layed out. "Hm...maybe I should try finding Sylvia again and ask her to help me get set up around here, hopefully even later I'll begin my investigation in the red headed vampire". Ryoku slung his bag over his shoulders and walk around trying to find Sylvia.

User Image Sylvia blinked when Harold spoke up. She drew her eyes from the mess as Harold blocked it and looked at him instead. "Y-yeah... I'll go find a c-clean-up crew... They'll be able to work this one out b-better than a psychic... I'll be right back." Sylvia said. She turned and walked away, keeping her pace steady. As soon as she made it out the door, however, Sylvia gasped and leaned against the wall. Her head ached and Sylvia realized how dizzy the smell of blood had made her. Sylvia took a moment to catch her breath before pushing off the wall and walking down the hall. She past a few doors, including the one to the cafeteria, and turned a corner into a small office. A man looked up and Sylvia said, "We n-need a clean-up crew, fast. Body in the R-records Office. I think it's Mr. C-camden." The man in the office barked out into a back room and a group of people came out, already carrying tools and supplies. Sylvia walked out of the office, with the group behind her, leading them back to the Records Office. After the crew got there, Sylvia didn't plan on staying. She would get the word from someone later on what had happened.

(( Thanks Rocket, and it's alright Irako.

What do you mean by "up-to-date", Rocket? If it's what's going on in the RP, I update what happens in a post on the first page. I know Mistress has been busy, so that's why she hasn't posted.

Rosanna started to follow Emi.She sighed, all day she'd been running, killing, running, fighting, and so on."I have to refill my gun when we get to where Emi's taking me."She noted mentally then ran a little to catch up.
"Are we almost there?"She asked tiredly.

((Im sooooooo sorry for not being on!!!I had school running out my ears!)

"Almost. This isn't one I use often, and I nearly forgot it was here." Emi said. They were in a more run down part of town. Next to no people were walking around, but Emi still put her jacket back on. She walked up to one of the older, more run down buildings. It looked like it used to be some sort of shop, but the sign outside was impossible to read. The windows were brown with dust and age, and the structure looked unstable. Emi walked around to the back, and found the back door. She tugged on the rusted handle, but the door didn't buge. Emi sighed and took a step back. She rammed her shoulder into the door with enough force to send the door off it's hinges. "There we go." Emi said, walking though the now empty door way.

Valery Mosinn

✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠ ✠

As soon as Valery was out of sight of Alexander, her expression went form sweet innocence to predatory hunger. The presence had followed her and she'd heard an almost unearthly sound of clanking and scraping metal. She turned, and only saw a bit of mist. Still, she didn't dismiss it, since her instincts told her she was in grave danger. Rather, she hissed and said, "Whoever is there, show yourself!" Her hands curled into claws, but she didn't change back into her siren form. That form was only advantageous in the water. She was on edge from not knowing who or what was the source of the threat she sensed.

When she received no reply, she began backing away, all her senses alert. If anything were to surprise her right now, she'd probably rip them to shreds. Her muscles were all coiled and ready to spring on the first thing that moved in a threatening manner. As she moved away, she began singing a song of senses being dulled, as if by wine or spirits. It was the one she'd used every time she killed a siren she'd been studying under, and was useful in fights. Often, whoever was quickest won, and the song ensured that it was Valery who made the first, and last, move.

Jai stopped his fearful onslaught to hear the siren's new song. He had heard this song many times before, he had fought and killed sirens who used this song, even while he was alive. He was always the sharpest man in the army, no man could best him in the field of strategy or swordplay. This siren was no different. Jai silently slid through Valery's body, making sure to stay long enough to chill her bones. Now behind Valery, Jai pulled his sword out once again and placed it before her throat. He then turned the misty looking hand and sword into a more visible fog. Jai said "Well Valery, I expected so much more of one such as you. Surely the gretest siren who ever lived would be able to recognize and handle a simple ghost? But I guess I was sorely mistaken."

((Erm... Hadore, how would that even be possible? The undead and ghosts, according to some legends, can't cross large bodies of water or running water. To seek out sirens and kill them would require Jai's ghostly self to be able to do that. And if he'd killed many sirens while living, it would have been almost impossible for Val to find teachers, since sirens are rare to begin with. And that's not even taking into account the fact that he'd have to face every single one with his ears plugged, else they would have enchanted him with their songs and lured him to his death. And that's already been tossed out of the equation, since you said "He'd heard this song many times before", which implies that he didn't battle them with plugged ears. He would have been killed if that was the case, since no living being who can hear can resist a siren's song. Also, the song is mostly one that Val created herself, so he wouldn't have heard it ever before. I can (just barely) accept the fact that a ghost wouldn't be affected by her song, since it's technically not a living being, but only if the ghost, in turn, couldn't do anything to her.))

(well, first off, sirens can come onto land and such, thus allowing Jai to be able to come into contact with them, not to mention these are legends and are considered differently in different areas. Second, Jai comes from a distant ancient land, possibly where and when sirens were very abundant. Plus, you said this song was just to slow the reflexes and such, so it doesn't exactly matter if hes heard this song. And you say that sirens are rare, I can see that, then i can just take out a single word from my post for that. He was one of the best warriors in the kingdom, so Jai could probably rush up to them before they could start singing the rest of their songs. Now as for your last comment, I can accept those notions, but that wouldn't be very fun for me if Jai couldn't interact with anybody physically.)

((Sure, sirens can come onto land, but most usually don't. Valery is odd in the fact that she does in order to complete the jobs she receives. Why do you think all legends of sirens have the victims meeting them while out at sea?

As for Jai coming from a place where sirens may have been abundant, that just sounds like you're coming up with details to suit your own ends. Even if there had been lots of sirens during Jai's time, what reason would he have had to go and hunt them? A warrior defending his kingdom (which has never been stated to be near or on a coastal region) should be off fighting warriors that attack said kingdom, not off hunting sirens. The sirens aren't an organized nation, and any killing they do would be for their own gain, not for the collective good of their kind. If Jai had a vendetta against one or two because they killed someone close to him, that might be a plausible reason for him to have come into contact with sirens before, but otherwise, nothing you've said in his history indicates any such thing. And besides, even if he'd had such a vendetta and succeeded in killing the sirens in question, that still doesn't mean he would have heard the song many times before.

And lastly, he would have had to find sirens to rush up on before they knew he was there as well as have the element of surprise. Again, maybe in one or two cases, he might be able to do that, but every single time? Sirens are either solitary or gather in small groups of two or three, and, again, are hard to find. It's highly improbable that he would have been able to surprise them every single time. Even if he had, he wouldn't have heard their songs anyways, because, as you said, he rushed them before they could sing.

In your profile, you said he could interact with most things, not everything. Maybe he can't touch Val or any sea creatures.

Your character is starting to become a Gary Stu, and to have a Gary Stu in a roleplay is a form of god-moding.))

Ombre
User Image

Ombre had changed a small toy car he had in his coat pocket into one of his favorite automobiles of the time and was now driving back to one of his much older safe houses in the area. It was on a side of town now abandoned and the building itself, without anyone present to give it maintenance, had probably turned into an old worn rundown rendition of the shop it used to be.

He had arrived at the back entrance to the shop and quietly turn his car back to it's original toy form. It took too much energy to keep things sustained in new stages, more if they were much different than their original. Though, in many cases, Ombre had no intentions of returning something back, and that took less power than to be able to make something shift repeatedly.

He walked up to the dusted back stoop and unscrewed a clouded lamp head, revealing a spare key inside it's case instead of a light. It surprised him that he still remembered that it was there as he unlocked the back door and went inside the dusty shop. Something felt off though, as though he wasn't alone.

((ooc: I hope you guys don't mind that I'm having Ombre show up in the same shop...))

Zander's head hurt shortly after Valery left, and he knew that he would have to find her again after finding out which file she belonged too. The clean-up crew arrived a few minutes later to see Zander holding his head in which the medic immediately asked if he was alright. Zander brushed him off and told them to get rid of the body in the alleyway, and to give him the autopsy reports back at the Society building when they were done.

It was a short bus ride back, but the entire way he kept thinking of his next encounter with that woman. He knew that just being a monster didn't make her a bad one. The Society had files on every nonhuman creature. His eyes shot open when he realized what he was thinking. "Not a bad one?!" He punched the back of the chair in front of him before he got off the bus. He decided from that moment he wouldn't think about her anymore.

Except when he walked past a woman who smelt like her, and when he saw an alleyway that reminded him of her holding him. He was holding his head when he walked into the Society building again, and this time he didn't bother to talk to anyone, only heading straight for the Archives room.

Emi tensed when she heard a noise from somewhere not too far off from the building. "Someone's here." Emi hissed to Rosanna. She sniffed the air and caught an unfamilliar scent. It wasn't human, and it didn't smell like anything she had come across before. "It's not human, whatever it is." she said to the girl and started to move away from the sound by instinct. Who would have come here? Emi hardly even thought anyone knew about this place, or even gave any thought to it. Emi walked to a certain part of floor and tested some of the planks. When she found the one she was looking for, she knelt down to pull the plank up. Emi pulled out a gun and checked the barrell. "Useless thing is still loaded... Personally, I hate using these things. But I'm not sure what that thing coming is." Emi said, standing up.

(( That's fine~ ))

User Image Sylvia had just reached the Records Office when she saw Zander heading towards the Office. Sylvia pointed to the door, and the crew went in while she stayed outside. Zander was holding his head, and he didn't look that good. "Are you a-alright, Zander?" Sylvia asked, deciding to walk up to him before he reached the Office door. Sylvia wondered breifly if something had happened in the alley way while Zander was waiting for the clean up crew to get there, but the thought got distracted by trying to keep Zander out of the Office. Whatever was wrong with him, it might get worse if he saw the scene inside.

(( Sorry for how short these things are, guys. I can't think of much else to put in. ))

Ombre
User Image

Ombre held his cane firmly in his hand. It was the one object he had always kept with him since acquiring it. It was a special little toy, a cane he had gotten off of a rather old forest elf. The wood it was made from itself had some magical properties which made it that much easier to reshape into whatever Ombre desired.

As he nonchalantly walked into the main lobby with the dark wood cane he finally was able to feel what these two were. He smiled and looked at the vampire with a gun. "Is this really a time for toys? If you really wanted to trespass you should have come decades ago when this was still a store. Maybe then it would have held something of value to you." He leaned slightly on his cane as he watched the two creatures. He wondered if they would get threatened and try to kill him.

Zander looked up to see Sylvia standing in his way. He took his hands from his head and slid them into his pockets before shrugging his shoulders. "A headache, that's all. What's going on? I need to check out a file quick." He said as he tried to get past her. He saw a cleanup crew walking about inside the archives. "Did that stupid signer go agro or what?" He looked back at Sylvia and thought about how her dark hair resembled Valery's.

Rosanna tensed up.Then heard the sound as well. She knelt down on one knee and reloaded her gun.
"If you don't like the gun,then I have a dagger."Rosanna offered.
By the look on the vampires' face, she could tell that whoever was here, wasn't human.
