Jamie's light eyes followed Nicolas as he walked away and she shook her head with a shrug. She didn't mind. The chat with him was enough to keep her occupied for the time being and now she turned, heading in the opposite direction of the attractive male. She continued to stroke her long braid, making her way towards her own cabin.
Nicolas seemed like a calm and collected pirate. He had much going on in his head. Jamie could see that much. What with his smooth entry to the tavern, sitting a stool away from her. He was a direct man, whom knew what he wanted. But obviously he had other plans, for he went on his way as soon as they were on deck.

Nicolas turned his head in time to see the woman leave and he couldn't help but release a calm sigh. As much as he hated her to go, he loved to watch her leave. The slight shake of her hips as she walked caused the male to contently watch until she was no longer within his line of view. Had she said something of dancing for the thought of a younger Jamie dancing was not a difficult thing to imagine with her long, beautiful legs and her curvacious form.
As distant as Nicolas wished to remain with the crew, he was glad he began to develop an early relationship with the woman. As gentle of a heart she seemed to have, the man could not keep from thinking of what could become of their relationship. Having been born a lonely pirate male, it was almost instinctive to hunt as many of the beautiful lasses as he could. Looking over his shoulder, he wondered where they all could have gone. Already he was lusty for another meeting.

Katherine leaned on an excessively ornamented piece of railing, wincing as her elbow came into sharp contact with a weatherbeaten but still bulky cherub. The Dementia was a fine ship, perhaps a little on the large and ostentatious side for the captain's taste, but command of her was still something Katherine relished.
Leaning further out, she eyed the bright horizon. They'd been sailing for half a day in the area her sources claimed were ripe with spanish treasure ships, but they had yet to see even a suggestion of sails yet.

Rachel, still wandering around on the deck spots something dark just over the horizon, "Is that storm clouds?" She wonders.
Rachel goes to the Captain to report a possible Storm on their course, " Captain, I see some rather grim clouds on the horizon, and they seem to be moving in our direction. I think we may get some rain, or even a storm."

Random encounter! You sight sails off the starboard bow, upon closer inspection it turns out to be a Spanish Frigate (100 crew, 28 cannons) sailing under merchant colours. Resting slightly high in the water, it looks to be hauling a medium cargo. The sky is darkening, and light rain has started to fall. Do you wish to pursue the ship?

The captain noted the rain clouds with some trepidation; it would most likely have little effect on their attack, but if anything else should go wrong it would only exacerbate the situation.
Still, her crew was clearly hungry for gold and thus eager for battle. If she denied them this opportunity it would be inviting mutiny. She gave the order to attack.

Your captain has chosen to attack the ship! You quickly pull up alongside the smaller vessel with only warning shots exchanged. The real battle will happen on the decks, hand to hand. With grappling lines thrown across, you are ready to board. What are you waiting for? Attack!
A quick review of rules:
1. You MUST roll a ten sided die, ONCE, at some point during the battle. 2. You do not have to roleplay, but it is encouraged. You can RP any part of the fight, and as much RP as you would like. 3. The battle will last 24 hours. If you do not roll within this time period, you will not be counted as having participated in the battle and you will not get a share of the booty. 4. All other normal RP rules apply.

Rachel feels the rain on her face as she sees the other ship. She notices the ships getting closer, realizing they will attack this ship, it was larger than the last ship, but it didn't seem to post any real threat.
But, for kicks she grabs the gun from the last battle and she trusty sword, and is the first to board the other ship. She immediately begins slashing at the other ship's crew, and firing at where she believe their Captain's quarters are.
((EDIT: Gurrh, a measly three this time))

Fawkes smelt the rain before actually seeing it with his eyes. Well, he was below deck thus was no wonder why he had failed to notice that rain was approaching. He stretched himself, and realised that the ship had almost came to a complete stop.
Feeling rather confused, he peeked out and was shocked to see that another fight had begun. Running up to the deck, he could feel the cold rain on his face as he jumped onto the opposite ship. He had enough fighting since the previous battle, but maybe some things are never meant to be enough.
His aiming at the heart was not very good. This was seen as his dagger almost always didn't always finish the enemy within the first stab, but it was good enough for the young man.

Moving carefully up from the Galley, John slid his plug bayonette from the belt aroudn his waist and headed into the fray. He wasn't the best of fighters yet but he had heart, perferably one that wouldn't end up splattered all over the deck. The rain added to his lack causing his shirt to stick and sandles to make him slide as they soaked, still he tried and prayed for victory.

While not all that proficient in swordfighting, Jonathan has had a good deal of training with a dagger, and uses that training to his advantage to stave off any enemy intruders, delivering a blow to the thigh and another to the ribs of a Spanish sailor.
EDIT: forgot to roll dice sweatdrop

Hearing the declaration of attack Jamie wheeled around, no longer heading in the direction of her bunk. She quickened her speed and dashed towards the railings as they began to pull up next to the other ship. The young woman hopped onto the banister, holding herself steady with a loose rope that had nearly struck her in the head. She brushed her bangs away, braid slipping over her shoulder as she slipped a dagger out into her hand, it having been fixed to her thigh.
Her gaze landed on the battle a few feet away. Already men lay dead on the ground, blood staining the enemy decks. Miss gallows seemed to be eager to help add to the blood shed. After only a moment of observation she gripped the rop tightly and swung to the opposite deck, landing gracefully before launching herself at an nearby man. They rolled amongst the battle before they halted, her sitting atop him sporting a large grin. Her dagger was held high over her head at that point and she took the chance to bring it down swiftly towards the man's chest.

Upon viewing the other crew members quickly making their way onto the opposing ship, Nicolas drew out his sabor and grinned. Although it had not been long since his last battle, he was already battle-hungry. A wicked expression remained on his lips as he grabbed onto a rope and swung onto the spanish ship. The second ship was beautiful, he admitted, but the thought of a possible treasure was far more inviting.
Noting the graceful movements of Jamie Gallows some distance before him, he only continued to smirk. With her weapon swinging, rain trickling down her form and wounded enemies falling, the site, to Nicolas, was truly one to be thankful for.
As he shifted his gaze onto a few of the snickering pirates before him, he charged headfirst and began swinging. His technique seemed almost wild at first, but over time one could see that he knew exactly what he was doing.
