Arachne was still feeling woozy from the bump to her head, but she couldn't sit there all day, especially after the figure that appeared and spoke to them as if they were all prey for the hunting. She struggled to her feet, picking up the bag and after much deliberation selecting a wooden table leg as her 'weapon' of choice.

Heading off, she was sure she heard Elizabeth's name called, and she went off in a direction, looking for her friend.

Petro should have been surprised to learn the boats had been shipwrecked. He should have. He wasn't. Thanks to this and the train ride from the last trip, the boil had never been more convinced the best form of transportation was one's own two feet. "Good thing I didn't sign up," he shook his head in disapproval. What sort of school did he get enrolled into? It was jarring to have been pulled into this place, but at least he was dry unlike most of the students.

Adjusting his knapsack and gripping his blunt mace, he prepared to join the others in their exploration. As much as he would have wanted to stay behind to protect Amrita and Tess and the others, he needed to hone his scouting skills. With an encouraging smile he wished the others, "Stay safe," before turning on his heels to follow after the rest of Lizzy's group.

Vaith was still in his tux after being coughed out by the portal in a rather ungraceful manner. But he landed on both feet instead of on fours-- that counted for something. The reason why he landed on two instead of fours? His gorgeous spiffy tux. Ms. Winters wasn't around to give them new tuxes so he had to keep this one perfect. Perfectly .. untorn. Because due to the last few incidents, he had gone through soaking wet to ripped (and face being eaten) and tears by the giant squid. Ha! Not an easy task-- a task that might require more effort than Vaith would put forth.

Might.

How convenient of the island. They provided pillows. Vaith grabbed the brown bag-- Wait, they provided a bedtime story too? Sweet! Vaith tucked the old book within the bag. He was set to go to sleep!

He looked over the crowd's heads-- where was the best place to sleep? Wait. If he slept, he might get eaten. By a student. Or a monster.

......

................

...........................

He should reconsider sleeping.

Lilura hated being wet, Cloak hated it even more. The poor reaper had been thrown into the water by the crash and cloak and gone in next to her. The poor cloth had a worse time swimming than she did so she ended up dragging the animated apparel out of the water and onto the shore. She blinked as she looked around at the strange setting. Maybe she should have animated another mouse trap to get out of this. Ah well, she was here and there was nothing she could do.

"Cloak, I want you to stay around the fire. It will take awhile for you to drip dry," she said as she choose a metal pipe from the pile of weapons. It felt more like a scythe handle. Cloak just nodded and spread itself over a branch near the fire. It hated being wet. Lilura felt bad for it but he needed to stay here. Speaking of wet she pulled the Bit of Fluff she had gotten on the ship out of her pocket, wrung it out, then it in her backpack. Better than being a cold sog in her pocket.

She looked around for any other people she know, either from school or from her ship. She hoped Daisuke and Nightmare were ok. Bella wouldn't forgive her if she lost the witch's boilfriend. "Hello? Dai? Nightmare? Anyone here?"

That was one boat ride Daisuke never wanted to go through ever again. After being lunged across the boat and taken down by a wave which had gobbled them whole and without any appearance of the captain and no sight of anyone on board, it had been one confusing, twisted hell of a ride. Never, ever again! It would be reasonable to say rocks and boats didn't go well together...

He had swam in the thick fog, trying to scope out the members on the ship especially to see if Lilura was alright. She had been with the cat boy before the ship had crashed and gone under but he didn't like water... He wondered how he was coping. So after swallowing how much water, he finally ended up on shore, much like a drowned rat. He tried to feel any use of his ability but it was useless.

He sighed looking down at his hands, his baby blues taking to the scenery around him, apart from the thick fog which was smothering by all standards. He decided to investigate.

In the strange tent there were bags, which he grabbed one and then looked over at the weapons. Non of them were highly appealing but who knew what was lingering around on the island. He grabbed the rusty pipe just out of hastily wanting to see what else was around. When he exited, he saw a familiar Reaper, after squinting some more, he could make out that it was in fact Lilura.

He sighed in relief and made his way over to her. "Lilura! Are you alright? I thought we were done for." He tilted his head with a small smile, brushing the wet bangs from his face. So he was right, the ship was doomed to sink from the start... What if Bella's had too! Was she here? He hoped she was ok... A long with many other students he knew well.

Blackness

It swept along her minds edge like a plague, clawed at her sight, flooded her senses. It was so dark, so silent. So - "Ewww I'm wet!"[/b] so covered in seaweed.

Sarias journey from the boat had been one of unconsciousness, all she could remember was a table being launched in her direction, it splintering of the ceiling, and then a table leg catching her smack in the face. The darkness had come then. LW had knocked her out with a table leg. A table leg. The meeting of the sharks and everything thereafter was a blur of sea foam and deranged muttering. Nothing new then.

Finding herself waist deep in water she had washed ashore, obvious the sharks had made sure she wasn't about to drown any time soon, even if everyone else did.

"Uhh, and the after taste"
she spluttered as she wiped the seaweed from every orifice on her face, her clothes covered in the waste of the sea. She was NOT happy. Bu tthat would have to wait, wait until she caught up with LW. Moving her body with all the strength she had left she stumbled to the small camp-site that had been set up. She glanced briefly at the portal, it was nothing of use to her for now and continued to watch students collect things from the tables. Brown bags and a weapon. Oh she liked weapons.

Without even a hint of an introduction she pushed past who ever stood in her way to grab one of the remaining bags and quickly swept by the tables with the assortment of tools. She weighed each one up, a double take of the wooden table leg. LW. and promptly took hold of the rusty pipe. Tipping it this way and that she tested it weight, swung it around a few times to the dismay of any near by students and happily claimed it as her own.

She was ready.

As much as it shamed her to think about it later, Yui's first instinct upon being informed of the boat's imminent demise was to think purely of herself. Without bothering to consider that she was leaving behind the things she'd packed for this trip, she watched as Jericho rescued Amrita and flew off before diving into the water. Thrashing her tail she cut through the water, enjoying that she could finally swim a bit, though the means of her getting to do so were less than satisfactory.

Once she reached shore, she stumbled onto the dry land looking mildly refreshed by her swim. For a moment, she couldn't figure out why the few students she saw were all leaving. Then she saw the tent and went to explore. Upon spying the tables holding gear of some sort, she reached automatically for a bag, snatching it up and slinging it over her shoulder. Next came the table holding the various blunt instruments. That got a raised eyebrow, though, the young Samebito supposed that having a means of subduing something without having to close with it would be useful.

Choosing a blunt mace, she hefted it for a moment, decided that it would do and then went in search of her shipmates. Now that the initial shock was over, she wanted to make sure they'd all managed to get to shore in one piece.

The first impact of the Undertow had thrown astra around the deck, Scaring the living jack out of her and making her feel very small indeed. Before she had time to recover, she was thrown again by a second, and more more violent impact. his time she layed on the deck in a daze before she eventually sat up in time to see the deck being flooded with water. Without hesitation, she flew upwards before the ship was swamped by the waves.

She hovered around the area, trying to find any sign of the other students, but couldn't see hide nor hair of them. And even if she could, she wouldn't be able to help them. Her wings weren't meant to carry a heavy load, so it would be impossible for her to carry someone to safety, with a regretful sigh, she darted away from the scene and towards the island that was barely within sight.

Eventually, Astra was able to see a group of figured in the distance, and as she flew closer she realized that they were all students, heading for a tent as well as some strange contraption. This was starting to get weird...but in all honesty, when were things not weird? She approached the tent, flying inside and immediately spotting the bags of supplies as well as some weapons. She took no time in choosing her items; A bag, and Wooden sword, before she flew out of the tent and landed next to the strange contraption. For now, she had to rest, as she was exhausted from the journey here as well as the boat crash. She would try to find the others later

((Four posts were made on the ship, and in the ORP thread before. Here is my profile!))

Just because a ghost couldn't feel cold or hungry didn't mean that she couldn't feel the effects of falling from a considerable height. When the ship hit rocks, Alwine was slammed against the railing of the boat. Then, she noticed that her feet were above her neck. Before she had time to contemplate this mystery, and the fact that her bloomers were most likely showing (oh my!), the headless haunt hit the water-- though there was no splash because of her form.

It was surprisingly easy for her to swim. Since she didn't have to worry about air, she didn't have to worry about reaching the surface. So she just concentrated on avoiding the rocks as much as possible as she made her swim to shore. When the ground rose and sand started to scrape against her dress, Alwine lifted herself up and looked around the island. There were still people on the shore but...

"Mandy!!" the girl called. "Mandy, where are you?!"

Running to the cabin, the haunt looked around and absent-mindedly picked up a brown bag. On the table of weapons, she dug up a book and flipped through its pages. Sadly, most of the print was gone due to age or water.

"I hope this isn't a repeat of Candycane Lane... but I have to find Mandy!"

Holly had just managed to collect a few bits of fluff when her boat had hit something? She'd been thrown in the water and that was horrible. The ghoul had never ever been wet before. She was a ghost after all and never really needed to shower or bathe. This wasn't fun.

The next thing she had known she was washed up on a sandy shore and other students were all around. There were some tents so she made her way up to them and saw that there were backpacks and weapons. What? The ghoul grabbed a brown backback and one of the Wooden toy swords. The ghoul then wandered off on her own to find others she knew that had been on other boats. Had to be around somewhere.

Profile exclaim Zoo is done to here

Nyyrkki dragged himself onto shore, his hoodie dragging miserably as it help pounds of water within it's threads. His hair was matted to his head and he'd lost the wire that pulled some of it together during the swim. In a short sentance, he looked a mess, and he wasn't happy about it.

The sand clung to his body as he pulled himself to his feet and stomped the rest of the distance to the short. He was exhausted, wet, and now cold, and there was little to nothing that he could to about it except wring out his clothes and determine what he was supposed to be doing here.

From what he saw there were no teachers, and students were arming themselves with items from within the tent. It seemed like the best place to start, so he entered and snagged a sack, hanging it over his shoulder and snatching up a blunt mace. The weight in his hand was nothing like his chains, but when he spun it with his wrist experimentally, it felt solid enough that he'd be able to use it in a fight. Blunt mace it was. Sturdy, hard, and easy enough to use.

He exited the tent with a determined look on his face. Next order of business would be to attach himself to a partner and be sure he'd be able to survive without any teachers. If they had left behind weapons, that meant they expected trouble, and Nyyrikki knew better to handle trouble on his own.

He quickly spotted Lilura and trotted toward her. "Lilura!" He grinned waving a hand. "Any idea what's going on?"

It was such a strange sight to see that everyone here had no Chaperons.
"Where are all the instructors?" were they hiding out on the island in some secret faculty only area? He gave the table another swift kick to its side. really he had no clue why he had so much animosity toward the poor piece of furniture.

Damien could have sworn that the cloaked figure wasn't there before. maybe he was. oh Hyne, was he already going insane from all this? He didn't get to dwell on the idea so much as he heard the subtle threat given to them. Maybe he could get a punch in on him? Sadly, before Demi had finished that thought, the figure already started to melt within the blinding fog. Getting attacked on a island with no way out. At least he didn't have to worry about excitement in this place.

The sudden appearance of the cloaked figure and the toppling weapons table gave Tsetsiliya a horrible start. After being shipwrecked and left shivering in a torn up, water-soaked ballgown, her nerves were most assuredly frayed. Hand pressed to her heart, she took a steadying breath and backed away from the figure towards the other students, feeling rather uncomfortable being in such a close proximity to the figure. Some of that alleviated, however, when he was interrupted by a skellyphone call.

Really now? Her eyebrows were knit in confusion as the figure hung up, told them that the battle would wait but advising them to move, before he promptly disappeared.

".. I-I am thinking this is very much wise," Tsetsiliya concurred under her breath, casting a nervous glance at the cloaked figure's vacated spot. Christmas Town had taught her that sitting still (or snooping around places where one clearly doesn't belong) was never the best course of action, and right now her first instinct was to get out of such a crowded area. She would not make herself such an easy target, thank you very much.

Hopefully when she managed to warm up (if that ever happened) she could finally lift the Jack-damned mace. Without paying much attention to where she was heading, she looked for what seemed to be a relatively non-threatening spot (but not too much so - Candycane Lane had taught her well) and headed in that direction. The mace dragged the ground behind her.

Apparently she hadn't considered that wandering on her own would make her an easier target.

There was no time to waste, this area was not as safe as he would have liked. Strange people popping in out of the nothingness and trying to catch students off guard. It warned them of staying in a large group, and he was right. This area had a large mass of people, it would be like shooting fish in a barrel. It was time to stop being a stationary target and get moving.

It looked like he wasn't the only one who thought that as the site began to show a little more activity, students already braving their way through the thick as pea soup fog. He made a stop by the tables near the tent and picked up whatever rations he could find; a pack and a rusty pipe that was knocked to the floor after the cloaked figure took out his passive aggressiveness on the pile of haphazard weapons.

"I guess these would have to do for now." The bare necessities were really bare, but it was not the time to gripe about such things. Damien mentally chided to himself. He had to find a small group to travel with out there, to learn about the situation and just what the Jack he willingly walked into. Goodbye sandy shores for now, he thought to himself as he followed the trail out of the beach and into the stark white of the unknown.
