Tabby looked at the list of items that the cafe sold. She didn't want to take too much money out of her crushes pocket and she hadn't had breakfast yet. "I'll have a smoothie and a poppy seed muffin." She said after her friend. She was going to let Asteria do some of the leading for a bit. Just till she was fine with doing things for herself with Kallos.

Kallos nodded at both the girls orders and waved over a waitress. Kallos repeated the food and drink order and added his own, which was a latte. The brunette waitress wrote the order down while gazing lovingly at Kallos “Ill bring your order back ASAP" She added with a flirty wink while dashing of to converse with her fellow workers, all of whom giggled and whispered “The service here is pretty good” Kallos noted while leaning on one hand.
Within a few short minutes the same waitress came back with their order on a metal tray, which she placed on the table “Enjoy you food. If you need anything else, please don’t hesitate to ask! I will be right over there” She said indicating to the till where the other workers stood watching the scene intently. As she walked away, Kallos‘s eyes glanced towards a small bit off paper with what appeared to be a telephone number written on it. tucked under his latte “Hm" He merely ignored the paper and took his cup. Asteria sighed, seemingly used to her the attention woman gave her older brother “Cheap” She commented with a small giggle. She gazed towards Tabby and gave her a reassuring smile, one that said ‘don’t worry, she’s not his type’ before taking a long sip of her iced tea.

Tabby took this chance to know a bit about Kallos. Just because he acted one way didn't mean he was different than Tabby thought. "I bet if you just do a hair flip you may get these for free." The young woman commented. Tabby knew that his actions could reflect who he was without knowing that she had a crush on him. At the same time if he did that it would hurt Tabby a little. She would become jealous.

Kallos smirked slightly “I would rather pay for things then to do such a thing, this is not a model shoot, so why should I?” He chuckled and leaned back in his seat “I am used to their type, I hold no interest in quenching their fantasies” He smirk softened to a smile “I do have some pride in who I am, pride that I wish not to dampen by flipping my hair”

Tabby was happy that he wasn't going to do it. She even smiled to show him that she was glad that. "So what kind of girl do you like then. Since girls seem to fall at your feet and drool." Tabby started to doubt herself. What made her different from other girls. She didn't know what else to say. Maybe she could gear herself into something that he would like one day.

Asteria smiled at how the two were interacting. She stood up and smiled “I am just going to head to this neat looking shop. I shall meet you back here in a few minutes” Before she gave them a chance to speak, the young dragon had rushed away…not before giving Tabby a wink.

“Don’t be too long Asteria…and don’t go mad on your credit card.." Kallos watched his sister leave before he looked at Tabby. For a brief moment he studied her before actually answering her question “A girl who respects theirs self enough to not act like that waitress” His expression was one of seriousness, but it was soon ruined by a smile “What about you? What is your type, hm?” he asked with a challenging gaze.

Tabby kind of thought about it. She couldn't never be sure until she was in a relationship. "I thought about it a little. I've only had one boyfriend and I can't say I want something for sure just yet. I think a guy who is nice, smart, and respects Yvette would be important. I'm not saying they would have to love Yvette to death, I just want to find someone who is true to their feelings and not forcing themselves to act like they love her, but care enough for her to protect her. Being rich and handsome is a bonus." Tabby answered.

“A very reasonable summery, Tabby” Kallos muttered with a nod “You and Yvette come as a pair, and no one has the right to change that” he added with a small smile while bringing the coffee cup to his lips to drain the last part of his latte “Its refreshing to speak with someone who does not think only of their self. You are a remarkable person. To raise a child while studying is not an easy feat. But you seem to be coping rather well”

Tabby nibbled on the last of her muffin. She had only be munching on it while Kallos talked. She didn't want to be rude and talk with her mouth full. She took a drink to wash the rest of it down. "I've worked out a system and have had plenty of help from those around me. Just like you did with your sister." The girl commented. Kallos and her were similar for raising children alone. That is one challenge they had in common. "One day Yvette will be a teenager just like Asteria." The girl added. "What do you do for work?"

“I own a string of high class restaurants and clubs…but I have recently been tinkering in hotels and spas. It can be rather stressful but things get easier with experience…My father started up the first restaurant and he built up from there. When he died I took over” He paused and chuckled softly “Hmm, I wont bore you with the details…but that’s the jest of what I do”

Tabby listened full hearty. She sipped on her drink. "You must be really good at math. I find math a little boring, but easy to do, I'm pretty good at it." Tabby commented. She thought it was cool in a nerdy way. She then leaned in a bit. "So what are your goals for the future? kids? Marriage? Traveling?" She asked learning more about him. There was no reason to keeping up with her little crush if he had a different interest.

“Well I am set for life in the finance department. Marrage has crossed my mind often, but trying to find someone trustworthy is hard…As for children, after raising Asteria, I must admit that I would like to have my own children some day. Again it comes down to finding the right person" Kallos leaned forwards “If I remember correctly, you want to be a teacher and to raise a big family. It is a good thing to have you future planned out in some way”

Tabby grinned. He remembered what she wanted for her future. At least he wasn't worthless as a future love interest. There was one last question she needed to ask before signing up for this. "Do you have any girlfriends or your eyes on any lady?" The girl asked. Who knew he could have a lady in the background that his sister didn't know about. Even then depending on the relationship she could still have a chance.

“Such a curious thing aren’t you?” Kallos said with a soft laugh “I do not think it is appropriate discussing that particular subject” he added staring intently at Tabby “But, if you must know. Then I will tell you” He smiled kindly “I do not have any love interest or a lover currently” He swung one leg over the other and leaned back “Does that answer satisfy you?”

Tabby pulled back in a blush before. She was probably being a little rude by asking the questions. It was something she wanted to know. "Well I want to know about Asteria so I can help her adapt better to Reeds." She lied. "And if you must know I'm very curious and that answer made me think of more questions over the subject." The teen witch added. "Have you ever had a girlfriend and if so why did you both break up?"
