x x x x x x xjoyfeather xxxxx » [ Joyfeather had gone out to hunt, leaving behind her mate, Stripewhisker, for most of the day. He needed his rest, plus she didn't mind going out by herself. She quickly entered the clearing once more, her deep blue eyes falling upon the familiar silver pelt of her mate's almost immediately. Rushing over, she sat down in front of the male and stared down at him. ] "Someone's really sleepy.." [ The ginger cat whispered, her tail swinging back and forth. In a swift motion, she glanced around, soon spotting Firerain nearby. With a flick of the tail, she said hello to the younger tom and returned her blue eyes back to her mate. ]

Galestar gazed around at the washed out territory. Lakes of water glittered among the flatter sections of the moors. He heaved a long sigh, shaking his head. Peace never seems to last long enough. Premonition. A warning. Something was brewing, that was certain. He sat on the Highbranch, staring out at the territory. It was still too flooded to hunt, so there wasn't much to do. Wolfspirit was tending to anyone who needed assistance. It was still a waiting game. Waiting for the water to go down enough for the prey to return. It was at times like these that Galestar envied SeaClan. They always fared best during the rainy season. Storms only boosted their prey count, whereas the rest of the Clans began to go hungry. However, SeaClan was also hindered by hunting only one type of prey. He mustn't forget that.
Sighing, he sat silently on the branch, his skinny brown tail twitching as he thought.

Galestar padded into camp, flicking his ears. He had managed to catch a small, soggy hare and a mouse. He set his catch down on the dwindling fresh-kill pile and raised his head, flicking his robin-blue eyes around the camp. Time to consider who to take to the Gathering, he thought to himself, jumping up to the Highbranch. Siegefury, Snowcherry, and Joyfeather seem like strong, healthy warriors to bring. Bearpaw and Poisepaw should come too, as our only apprentices. Perhaps several more warriors. Hm...Gingereye and Brindlestep. Yes. That's good. He leapt down from the branch to explain to Pebbleheart that he wanted her to stay in camp and take care of things during the gathering, and once he was done, he padded back to the tree, his tail waving high. He was confident BreezeClan could recover from the flood easily. Although, the prophecy kept him worrying. I'm going to ask the other leaders if they've heard anything, he decided. I have a feeling this prophecy doesn't involve only BreezeClan. If we need to band together again, I'm more than willing to do so!

Ravenwind couldn't help but look at the water in horror. All that water! She exclaimed inwardly. How Seaclan did that, daily was beyond her. Them with their sleek pelts and their tolerance for being almost fully submerged in water.
The young warrior just sat there, staring out as she waited for the water to start to drain. Why was there so much water! Where would they find the food they needed?
Ravenwind shook her head and stood up. She should go hunting. So with one last lick on the side of her body, she padded up to Galestar.
"Should I go hunting? See if I can find something?" The black warrior asked quietly, shyly shifting on her paws.

Ravenwind looked up at Galestar as he spoke his thoughts out loud, simply waiting for a 'yes' , 'no' or some sort of instruction. At his instructions she nodded. It was a smart thing. Sending out parties to different things. She would have been surprised if Galestar hadn't thought of it.
"Okay Galestar." The pure black warrior meowed softly, she was about to turn around and go away but Galestar kept talking. He was praising her? Ravenwind couldn't help but purr a bit. "Thank you Galestar." She meowed just above a whisper, turning around and padding off in search of Embergaze.
The Refuge was usually a pretty good place to find catnip and other herbs and as a bonus, there was usually lots of mice there. Ravenwind sighed and flicked her ears, but how would the prey hold up in his weather? That is what you're going to find out. She answered for herself.
Green eyes finally finding Embergaze the pretty warrior took in a deep breath and hesitantly padded up to the tom. "Galestar wants us to check the hunting levels at the Refuge..."

[Embergaze immediately felt a pang of embarrassment wash over him as Ravenwind approached him. He was still a little shy. He swallowed his fear, however, and nodded to her complacently. "Alright, seems like a good idea," he meowed gruffly, standing up and stretching. His muscles rippled beneath his pelt (and perhaps a bone or two poked out...a lot of warriors had lost weight). "L-let's go, then," he said, padding casually to the exit, his shyness betrayed only by his stuttering. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "Every day something new is learned" "So let us live our days yearning for wisdom."[

 SunLeaf "Queen" BreezeClan **********
[The fox like creature with bright blue eyes walked into the camp and flicked her tail around. Sunleaf felt the warmth of the sun oher fur as she walked around the area. The she-cat smiled at every cat she passed by and greeted them warmly. Sunleaf found a sunny spot in the camp to lay down and started to sun bath. Her ears flattened a bit as she closed her eyes and let the bright sun kiss her face with its warmth.]

FFFFF---I can't find their posting styles > > Anyways, sorry for not posting for a while guys! I finally managed to get some spare time from my friggen job and Timber is right, let's get BreezeClan rolling! And I'll eventually find their posting styles...somewhere > A > Pebbleheart Everyday seems like the typical day of constant agony and stress. The sky was even bright and vivid, trying to cheer up the fragile deputy; but nothing seems to bring a satisfied smile to her face. She feels sick, both phsyically and emotionally. With a tired and dull gaze, she dully strolled out of the warrior's den with a weak scan of the camp. Her skin started to dry up and show the bones settling within her body. The bags under her eyes grew darker, her strength and youth completely drained from her system. It's as if time has been slipping away without a word. It's been a while for her to come to this conclusion, but she has made up her mind. Nothing could change her consideration of her state and destiny. It was time for another youthful body to replace this rotting one. Those green gaze rolled around the atmosphere in search of her leader. There, in the distance, was Galestar conversing with Ravenwind. At a slow pace, Pebbleheart approached the two silently. Politely, she seated herself near the two and awaited for them to finish their conversation.

LOCATION: Breezeclan Clearing COMPANY: Pebbleheart OOC: First post~ And please ignore the "deputy" in the layout, I couldn't be bothered to make 2 layouts lol
A tom with very distinctive tiger markings made his way through the entrance of Breezeclan camp, clutching a decent sized rabbit along with a small sparrow he had caught out of pure luck in his mouth. The sparrow had broken its wing not long ago and as anyone knew, a downed bird was a dead bird. Tossing his contribution onto the meagre fresh kill pile, Valiantstride shot a disappointed glance at the pile of food that was meant to feed the clan. Ravenwind and Serpentfang better return soon, right now the size of the fresh kill pile was downright sad. At least he had made his contribution of the day.
It had been a day (or more than that? I have no idea O_o) since the flood, and the tabby tom knew that Breezeclan should count their blessings for having higher ground as their territory. The flood water barely reached the moorlands, leaving a majority of their camp untouched. He couldn't even begin to imagine the current state of Nightclan's territory, since they lived right next to a swamp. Breezeclan was safe and had not lost any clanmates, and for that Valiantstride thanked Starclan with all his heart, believing that Starclan has watched over his beloved clan.
Just as he was about to turn away, out of the corner of his eye he glimpsed the Breezeclan deputy standing near Galestar. Pebbleheart had been the Breezeclan deputy for as long as Valiantstride could remember, but as he took a good look at her now, he couldn't help but notice how old and tired she looked. To him, Pebbleheart had always been and would always be the Breezeclan deputy, and he had never considered the possibility of the position being handed to someone else. Now, however, as he took a closer look, he realised that without the clan knowing, the deputy had grown older and weaker, her eyes losing her once youthful light. What shocked him nost was the dull, almost lifeless look in her green orbs, as if she had lost all her youthful energy and drive. "You look like you haven't slept for moons, Pebbleheart." The tiger striped tom meowed as he padded towards the deputy, "Allow me to lighten up those lifeless eyes with the rabbit I just caught? You look as though you could use a good meal." He gestured towards the fresh kill pile with his tail as he ran his eye over Pebbleheart's frame. Now that he had a chance to take a closer look, her ribs and spine showed through prominently, as if she was starved and malnourished. Despite his jolly attitude and cheerful tone, his gaze was concerned and thoughtful. For all he knew, the deputy could be seriously ill...

G i n g e r e y e - - Stalking into camp, Gingereye's outward appearance gave a great show of presenting her displeasure, although the shrew and mouse that hung in her jaws. Tail hanging low and twitching in a methodical pace, head slightly bowed, eye narrowed, and a the smooth gait that came with most cats was replaced with a rather stomp-like and forced trot. The source of the displeasure seemed rather direct, as upon further investigation it was easy to see that the front half of her being was spiked where water had previously dried. How in high starclan was she supposed to know that a shrew, a shrew which was the pure essence of ground walking rodents, could swim? No one had told her of this trickery! Though she had caught the shrew, and a mouse a bit before the water work events, she was less than happy at her state. Letting her prey drop onto the fresh kill pile, Gingereye padded toward the sunny spot near Sunleaf. She dipped her head in quick greeting, before subjecting herself to a thorough cleaning.

~ Brindlestep ~ Brindlestep came bounding after Gingereye, a bird clamped firmly in her jaws. She dropped it proudly on the fresh-kill pile (proud of the fact that she'd managed to snare it mid-flight) and trotted over to the sunny spot. She giggled when she saw Gingereye, and came up on her good side. 'Took a dip, did we?' she asked, sitting down beside Sunleaf and twitching her whiskers in amusement. ~ Specklethorn ~ Specklethorn watched his Clan going through their daily activities, apprentices training, kits playing, elders gossiping. His gaze strayed over to his sister, no doubt annoying the older warriors, then over to Sunleaf. Such a pretty she-cat. He flattened his ears against his skull in embarrassment, and finished off the piece of fresh-kill he'd taken after hunting. He crunched on the little bones, his mind wandering to how the other Clans were coping after the flood.

Pebbleheart The deputy flinched from an unexpected arrival. She turned her gaze in one quick motion, as if assuming it was a vicious enemy. But instead, it was the tiger-striped warrior, Valiantstride. She pulled out a long sigh, relieved to see the tom instead of an intruder. Her body is in denial towards a big conflict, bloodshed is the last thing she needs. With an effort, she managed to show a kind grin and settle her fur. Her eyes still contained that dull and boring color, as if its previous vivid shade was being sucked away.
"Hello Valiantstride," the deputy greeted quietly.
His words got to the she-cat, and her smile faded away once again. With a tired sigh, she pulled her eyes from the warrior and starred into the distance, as if in search of the smallest hope.
"Not sleep, Valiantstride. Depression," she answered numbly, gliding her gaze to the Medicine Cat's Den.
She then focused to the plump rabbit before her. It was a mouthwatering sight for all warriors with a decent appetite; however it didn't reach to the deputy's stomach. Refusing to turn down a kind offering, she smiled at the warrior and pawed the rabbit closer to her.
"Thank you kindly, your heart is truly pure now, isn't it?" she chuckled.
