My Hero felt much more confident as things turned physical. Talking was not his strong point. But fighting? Oh yes. The only way this could be any better was if he had a giant robot to attack Death Charm Senior with. (And possibly Charon, aka. Death Charm Jr, too, since he had also been planning to take over or destroy them - or both.)
Striking a heroic pose, My Hero yelled, "Operation Meteor: First Strike!"
His right paw lifted, aiming at Death Charm Sr's head. As he shouted the name of his special idol attack, the red armour shot off. But it didn't stay armor for long. It started to flame, as though burning through the atmosphere. Halfway between My Hero and the target, it was a proper (if still leg-armor sized) meteor.
My Hero felt rather smug as it flew towards their much larger opponent. He laughed as it struck home, a wild and not altogether sane sound. Attack over, the red armour resumed it's proper form and returned back to its place on My Hero's leg.
"And that's how it's done," he nodded, almost preening. Other idols could fight over who the prettiest or cutest or most talented. My Hero only cared to fight for 'most awesome attack'. (And if it wasn't as effective as some others in this battle, it looked impressive.)

danse-hexe Fink stared at Death Charm Senior as he spoke to Little Star, then Charon. He stared hard. And then blinked. Like a puppy that couldn't decide between his food bowl and a ball, he ran from one Death Charm to another. Senior.. Junior. Senior... Junior.
Senior. All this time, Death Charm Senior had been Charon's dad... and Charon had never said anything. How could he keep a secret this big from his friend? Tears welled up in Fink's eyes as he threw Charon a hurt look, his bottom lip wobbling just slightly. Oh, he'd get the younger Death Charm to pay this back, for sure.
Looking up at his idol, Finkleheimer quivered in fear and awe.. and also disappointment. Comedy.. really? Had Charon known this all along, too? A look at his pal told him not: Charon looked so angry. All around him, the wishing cousins were attacking, following Little Star's lead. Grimacing, he weighed his options. Customarily, he would be playing leading man to Little Star's leading lady. But from the looks of it, she wasn't in need of rescue, aside from the fact that everyone was aiming their attacks all over the place.
That settled it, then. Finkleheimer would use a ranged attack. Deal damage while staying out of the attack zone- how brilliant could he get, seriously? Congratulating himself by patting himself on the head with his tail, Finkleheimer climbed up onto a boulder, his fur bristling.
He stared directly at Death Charm Senior, getting ready to yell his battlecry.
"FOR NARNI---------" ... n..no, wait, that was wrong. Flustered, Finkleheimer paced, trying to remember.
"IN THE NAME OF TH..." no, wait, not that either, it was too old.
"THIIIIIIIIIIIS. IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIS. SPARKLE!" ... or was it? No, no no no no no. None of these had the right ring to it. Was this.. was this stage fright? Finkleheimer was absolutely terrified- he'd never experienced this before. He took a deep breath, but ended up having a panic attack.
SHUT.DOWN. EVERYTHING.
Miserable, Finkleheimer curled up on his boulder, all too aware that he was making a fool out of himself. It was then that his eye caught Charon's, and he felt a jolt of electricity run through him, causing his fur to stand on end. He could feel it... yes, this must be it!
(Pausing a while for reboot....)
Confidence regained, Finkleheimer pulled himself upright and pointed a paw at Death Charm Senior. This time, this time nothing would go wrong. With a flourish of his paw, he yelled..."CHARON, I CHOOSE YOU! FLAMING METEORS OF DOOM!" (57+76) / 2 = 66.5 Oh well wasn't that just GREAT. Disappoint? HE WAS DISAPPOINT. Charon's entire body bristled at the speech the giant Death Charm Sr gave, so much so that had he had any fur, he would have looked like a spiky porcupine, or one of those fat white cats with the smooshed faces. Immediately the magma under his skin began to undulate angrily, pulsing a yellow-orange glow like he was readying to erupt. Which he was. Ohhhh, was he ever. He was really gonna give it to him! He was gonna give Death Charm Sr a piece of his mind! Or was going to, until Little Star interrupted. That attention-whore. Couldn't she see they were having FAMILY TIME?!
Thunder promptly stolen, Charon slunk back towards the bolder Fink had clearly dubbed 'the sulking rock,' flopping his big fiery tush into the dirt, fully intending to give the most dramatic sulk of his career. Stupid gingerbread house. Stupid meteors. Stupid dad, didn't trust him to destroy the Wishing Cousins by himself. Nevermind that he hadn't actually done any destroying. Nevermind he might have made friends with one. Speaking of which, he glanced over at where Fink was laying, fully intending to ask what was eating him (besides DCS, likely,) when he promptly did a double take, noticing that tell-tale SPARKLE in Fink's eyes.
Was that EPIC MUSIC playing in his head? Goddamn, he really had to stop letting Fink talk him into watching all those sappy RomComs.
Smoke curling around his nostrils as he exhaled in an exaggerated sigh, Charon meandered back to stand behind the pointing Wishing Nergal, crouching down a bit before LUNGING over his shoulder, leaping into the imaginary pokemon stadium. (He flat out refused, however, to say his name. Seriously, who invented that stupid idea, anyway?) Muscles rippling under stony scales, he spread his paws to dig sharp talons into the dirt, fiery gaze narrowed on the parental figure who was now denying him his birthright. THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE DEATH CHARM.WHAT WILL CHARON DO?
--> FIGHT............ BAG ....
WISHES ......... RUN Hearing Fink's command, the smaller Death Charm gave a mighty roar, tail flicking savagely as he called forth the very meteors with which Death Charm Sr. had destroyed they're agency.CHARON USED FLAMING METEORS OF DOOM! ... only difference was his looked more like little flaming ping-pong balls. IT'S NOT VERY EFFECTIVE! Average - 73 (LIKE MY TEST SCORES QQ)

Purin watched as her sister sailed up and threw out her starry arrow. Inspired by her bravery, she too rushed up to meet Death Charm SR. and raise arms (and stars) against him. Running forward, the purple-glowing puff leaped up, and spun. "You have become dark and corrupted in your time. As a star of purity, I cannot let you continue corrupting and staining this beautiful land. It's your time to pay for your actions. For my sisters and fellow idols, MAIDEN'S PURITY SHOWER!" The tiny zodiac sudden was surrounded by a glow of white as she hovered, curling into a innocence little ball. Her purple eyes parted as a shimmering light formed over her crown like an elegant veil before the tiny white flowers around her headdress shot out at Death Charm Sr.

Was it her time to shine? Was it her time in the spotlight? Was it her time to sparkle? To sparkle like the wishing crystal she was, reflecting so much more brightly than the rest?
IT WAS HER TIME TO SPARRRRRRRRKLE.
Quite.. literally.
"Sparkling Flashing Epic Shining Radiant Beaming Tiara!"
It was.. quite the move. In front of Princess Sparkling Fluffums was a blinding light in the shape of a tiara, shining brightly throughout the cave.. like a flashlight. Perhaps, she should have named it "flashlight." It would have been shorter-- but not nearly as epic. But thatw as all it was. Almost like a switch had been turned on, it was nothing more than a beam of light. With sparkles in it's path. With really big sparkles.
Princess Sparkling Fluffums sat there. Shining like a lighthouse. Like an elegant lighthouse. Like a highly distinguished lighthouse. LIKE THE WISHING CRYSTAL SHE WAS.
Crystals reflected light. The end.

There were no words to describe the pride that she had for her fellow Wishing Cousins as they stepped up, one by one, and banded together in the face of the enemy. She gave a bright grin to Prince Rose as he stood at her side, and then watched in awe as he lifted up into the air. Similarly, all of those around her began rising to defend their home once and for all. At long last, this battle would decide once and for all whether the Wishing Cousins and family would be able to live in the peace and harmony they deserved! It was only right that Wishing Moon now took her place in the sky, amongst the other stars that shone brightly as they sent their attacks at DeathCharm Sr. It was time to kick some butt! Her eyebrows furrowed in a determined glare, and the crystal on her forehead gleamed with a blinding light. She could feel it's burning power surging through her tiara, which was quite firmly placed on her head. But how to get it off? She reached a paw up and started batting at her tiara furiously, desperate to pull the headgear off of her head. When it really started to bug her, she flipped over onto her back and all four of her paws wiggled as they batted against her head. Yes, she wiggled like this for a good part of the fight, until finally one of her claws snagged on the edge of the tiara - and with a solid WHACK to the face, it finally came flying off! She bounced back onto her feet, dipped her head down, and clutched the glowing tiara in her tiny muzzle. Okay, so NOW it was time to kick some butt! "In the name of the moon!" She muffled out - which was difficult with a tiara in her muzzle, but she managed. "I WILL PUNISH YOU!" As she called out her battle cry, a beam of pure white light shone down upon her, and she floated gracefully up into the night sky within it. As she ascended, the tiara in her mouth burst with light, transforming into a glowing white discus. It took on a life of it's own, floating out of her mouth and following her movements as she twirled and flipped like a ballerina on her way up into the air. Finally, as she reached her destination, and she could see herself reflected in the glowing orbs of Deathcharms giant eyes, her tiara stopped in front of her, and she posed victoriously. As she flung the discus out with a flurry of movement, one could hear her voice echo across the land. "MOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON..."
The discuss glowed even brighter, filled with it's pure energy.
"TIARAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA..."
Finally released from her grip, the discuss grew in size as it was flung at the DeathCharm. It spun and spun, ready to engulf the giant dragon in it's purging light.
"MAAAAAAAGIIIIIIICCCCCCCCCCCCC!" ((WISHING MOON'S AMAZING SCORE IS 22. APPARENTLY SPARKLES AND LIGHT DON'T HURT THAT MUCH GAIS))

Azure stared up at Death Charm Sr. as he continued to talk...and talk...and talk...
...
Somehow he was becoming less and less intimidating every second...in fact she was starting to fall asleep. Sure every good Star needed Epic speeches, but come on...he was the bad guy. Shouldn't he be more like...intimidating?
Ah. Opps.
The moment she told herself that was the moment she jinxed it. Death Charm Sr growled about destruction and Azure snapped back to attention. She watched as Little Star made the first move stunning Death Charm Sr. with a magnificent display worth of being called the top idol!
Azure's eyes sparkled. This was her chance! This was her chance to shine! After all it wasn't the bad guys that got all the glory it was the Stars, the idols, THE HEROS!!
Stepping with a new found spring in her step Azure joined the fray. "We won't let you do as you please! WE ARE IDOLS!!" She growled. "Taste the fury of justice!" She added racing close and swinging her blue tail the beads on her hair and tail tip glowing as she did so.
"Beautiful Pallas Azure's Miracle Sweet Ultra Sparkly Fantastic Dramatic Romantic Sexy Astonishing Exotic Athletic Love Love Idol Water Cannon Attack!!"
Azure screamed as she began splashing water at Death Charm Sr. Where the water came from who knows...perhaps from her hidden tears. One thing is for sure, she might have done more damage if she wasn't gasping for breath after her ridiculously long attack name, but she seemed to do a pretty good amount regardless.

Castor had a problem. He wasn't suited for flying. So, he would forced to rely on his amazing inborn scareon abilities.
1- Look cute No. For one thing he didn't swing that way, and Death Charm Sr. looked like the type to eat him alive rather than pet him like an evil house cat.
2- Pee on him. That was a bad idea. A gross idea. Besides you did that on a couch and then no one would want to sit on the couch. It also wasn't classy. And Castor was classy.
3- Leo Strut He already did that. Twice.
4- ??? Sit and think about it. Wait no time. Now or never!
5- OMNOMNOMNOM Castor had his fangs. All scareon did. His were amazing. The best. So Castor ran out and looked for the weak point. They glowed red. Sadly, a lot of stuff glowed red on the evil minipet. So Castor settled for running to what he thought could be a weak point. The tail.
"OMNOMNOMNOMNOM"

Toru had started out so confident, so sure of himself, so ready to fight! But then, everyone had to do their introductions, and that took what seemed like ages! And then, the enemy had to make his big long speech, a speech that continued on and on and on...ugggghhhh, make it stop! He rolled his eyes and collapsed down, resting his head on his paws, his antennae drooping down in front of his eyes.
Man, it was getting warm in here! And Death Charm Senior's voice was such a low and rolling growl...almost soothing in it's monotony. Toru felt his eyes begin to droop, and he let out a loud yawn. NO! MUST STAY AWA-----ZZZZzzzzzzzzzzzzzz......... Snerkgh! What?? What did he miss? Bright lights...Attacks...OH! It was time to attack!
Toru stumbled up to his feet, still half asleep. Shaking his head to clear his mind of the fog that still clung to it, wanting to draw him back under, he mumbled, "Taurus Bullhorn, Strike!" without even waiting to see if it was his turn.
Not that it mattered. His attack was pitiful, but he did at least try and aim it at Death Charm Seniors eyes. Hopefully even the right set of them! (He was seeing a little bit double in his drowsy eyed stupor). For a split second the aura around his fur brightened in yellowish/orange, then coalesced forward and seemed to shoot out from the gem on his forhead, in the shape of what may have been a bull (it looked more like a spindly legged calf) that galloped (stumbled) towards Death Charm Seniors face! It's mighty horns (it has horns? Oh, ya, there they are...you can kindof see them if you squint) aimed for the glowing orbs of his eyes! Unfortunatly it started to fizzle out and fade long before reaching them....
Did he really just do that, or was it all just a terrible dream?? D:

If anything, Leos was more bored by the huge death charms monologue, rolling his eyes and not really giving a dam. Ooooo, he was gonna smite them with meteros? Like hell he was going to let that happen! However before the zodiac could do anything he was sent backwards by the mere flap of death charms wings.
He was not about to stand for this.
"I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS flaming crap of nonsense that you spurt out! I refuse to be scared by such words as yours. FOR I AM A GAR ZODIAC. I AM AWESOME AND MANLY! And I also use old spice in the shower BD'
He paced back and forth across the creature, psychic himself up as he prepared his attack. "Aye, Fight and you may be flamed to death, run and you may sparkle for another day, to continue until you explode from your own sparkliness and form a black hole! but would you be willing to trade all those days, from then to now, for once chance, just one chance to show off your awesomeness and to tell the bad guys, THAT THEY MAY TAKE OUR LIVES, BUT THEY WILL NOT TAKE, OUR MANLY WISHES!
Leos began to glow even brighter then before, the orbs that hung next to him twirled to they were just above his eyes, shining even brighter as they formed a pair of blue energy glazzes, the edges looking spiky and puffy and slightly resembling a lions mane. Then then flew forwards, the light streaking behind him like a comet, shouting out his epic attack.
EXTREEEMMEEEE......LEOOOOOOO....BRREEAAKKKEEERRRR!
The attack was flashy, oh so very flashy and awesome, but instead of doing any real amount of damage, he instead bounced off deathcharms skin and was flung backwards, creating a very interesting Doppler effect

At first, Jupiter tried to listen to Deathcharm Sr's ranting politely. Except that she kept talking. And talking. And talking some more. She could feel her eyes glazing over when Little Star interupted and announced how less than impressed she was and flew. Little Star flew. Wait, wait wait. They could FLY? Jupiter's attention was torn from Deathcharm Sr. by this little snippet of information.
Blinking owlishly, She watched as Little Star attacked the larger idol and had yet another surprise in a night full of them. They had magic attacks too? How had she managed to go this long without ever learning this stuff? Seriously. Someone was going to be in for a thorough tongue lashing once she found out who was in charge of passing information along!
But for now, there was no time to ponder what she would do to whomever had forgotten to tell her that she could not only fly, but had a super special magical attack. Instead, the little pink bowed wishing closed her eyes for a moment and concentrated. Not on flight, but on what her own special power was. And in the space of a moment, she had it.
Running, she raced until she had built up enough speed and then jumped. Aiming for Deathcharm Sr's face, she called out, "Jupiter Ecstasy Strike!"
The attack rushed out from her in an arc of pretty pink, gold and grass green sparkles. There might have even been some little smiling heart shapes mixed up in it as well. It looked like a blissed-out raver's wet dream as it sparkled and glowed its way to Deathcharm Sr's face. And did.. well... not nothing. But it certainly was not as effective as it could have been. At best, as the attack struck him square in the nose, it would burn a bit. And maybe make him sneeze uncontrollably for a few minutes.
Oh hells bells. Way to fail, Jupiter. Way to fail.

The twins brimmed with confidence. WHO WOULD LOSE WITH A DOUBLE TEAM? Plus, everyone else was having a go at the guy already.
Getting into positions, the twins launched the Doppelganger Attack Of DOOM.
For those unfamiliar with this attack:
The Doppelganger Attack of DOOM is truly a stroke of ingenuity. Each twin would pretend to be a doppelganger and greatly confuse their opponent by Running Around in Circles. Once the opponent is rendered dizzy with all the action, the twins would leap into an aerial strike targeting either of the 3 pairs of orifices on the enemy's face.
Eyes, Ears or Nostrils, Death Charm Senior couldn't ever possibly know!

Join?...Join him? Who did he think he was? Neph clawed into the gravel beneath him as Death Charm Senior unleashed a blast to knock down his fellow wishes. But not Neph. With his widened battle stance, he clawed deep into the gravel beneath him with teeth clenched and eyes narrowed, bracing for impact. The strong force pounded against his significantly smaller body but as the little wishling crouched low, his claws bared the majority of the gust and ever so slowly inched back to create grooves in the ground below. Once the moment passed, Neph scoffed with a smirk, "hmmph! You call THAT an attack? Your energy is weaker than I thought! hahahahaha~!" With that- he took to the air in a single bounding leap and faced the mass of molten substance square in it's glowing eyes. "FACE ME NOW!- Power of the Stars Energy Plasma Ball!!!"An aura engulfed the wish with a somewhat eerie darkness; both bright and dark at the same time. Between his forepaws, like two magnets, a white force began to form a ball. As it reached a peak, Neph pushed the ball towards the towering Death Charm's face with as much effort as his body would take."HAAAAAAAaaaa~!!!" It swirled and circled until it made impact dead between the eyes (following up on Little Star's intent) of the creature with great force. A bombardment of follow-up balls were then flung to keep the charm subdued until Neph felt satisfied. "hmmph" Neph smirked triumphantly and kept position floating in place, admiring his work. Hiiiiiiiisssss!
Oh he was angry, furious, ruffled fur puffed out and sticking every which way, growling as loud as he possibly could. He was a vicious, threatening ball of fluff, HE WAS NOT TO BE TRIFFLED WITH! (Because a tiny buzzing spiky cotton ball was the most terrifying thing in the world, CLEARLY!)
Wait, where is eyes glowing red? WAS THAT FIRE BLAZING BEHIND HIM?! There were no desu sparkles, stars, or silly dances here, this was fiya, FIYA! FIYA THAT WAS GOING TO BURN THAT GINGERBREAD HOUSE TO THE GROUND! OH IT WAS ON NOW!
The roof, the roof, the roof is on fiya! ahem--
Oh but there was more! Ares had leapt into the air, summoning his GREAT AND MIGHTY lance (oh yeah, it was on FIYA too!)
"LANCE O' LONGINUS!"
Wait, was that right? Oh well, too late now! The GREAT AND MIGHTY lance had been let loose, flying toward the massive death charm senior like it had been LAUNCHED FROM THE GODS ITSELF!
Well okay, maybe to a tiny ball of fluff it was massive and GREAT AND MIGHTY, but to the giant monster...it was probably more like a toothpick. BUT THAT WASN'T GOING TO STOP HIM!

Silver glanced back as Princess Red hid behind her, and gave her friend the best encouraging smile she could, given the circumstances. If hiding behind Silver helped the other idol keep up her courage, then the Wishing Mercury at least would have a friend at her back.
Who she was, of course, knocked into by the blast of wind Death Charm Sr. sent their way. But Silver quickly extricated herself, turning back to face him and running for the front of the cave. She launched herself into the air, hovering in front of their enemy.
She closed her eyes, thinking through what she could do. Then her eyes snapped open as she grinned, the perfect attack in her mind. "Mercury Winged Tsunami!" she shouted, holding her paws forward as if to direct the attack. A great wall of water formed before her, rushing towards the towering Death Charm Sr. It broke over him... and at least it gave him a good bath? He did smell of sulfur, he certainly needed it. And maybe cooling and hardening some of that magma would slow him down a bit.
