I'm in the process of more levelling up. I have just one more route to see before I can start training for the Elite Four again. They're like level 80 or so now, so I've got a looooong way to go XD

I (somehow) managed to beat Cynthia today with a team of level 67 Pokemon. Of course, most of them gained at least one level, and now everybody else has to catch up to Zekrom XD
I still don't know how I did it.

Impressive work, Rocket.
I'm training my team to try going for the Ranked Random Battles. I've already raised a Garchomp to a good level, but I need a new water type (Simipour's strong, but she can't take hits very well) and I may exchange my Eelektross for something else

I'm actually really happy with my team at the moment. I've grown really attached to my Zekrom, so I don't want to trade it for a Reshiram anymore. (I'm still looking for someone to trade me one though lol) I love my two Grass-types, my Simipour's quite fast and has a good moveset, Illuminera (my Lampent) is awesome, and my Braviary owns all. (Well maybe not all....) XD

Yes, my Simi's a girl. Just worked out that way. While she is quick and has a fairly solid moveset, most of the WiFi battles she's been in knocked her out in only one or two hits... She did pretty well against Lorika though. (which reminds me, I still haven't moved the video off my camera)
If you didn't already know, Lampent evolves to Chandelure when exposed to a Dusk Stone.
I still have your Zorua egg, btw

Cool! Yeah, the monkeys aren't worth much on defense sadly...they're good Pokemon though, so it's a waste not to raise them.
I considered evolving Illuminera back before I beat the main game, but I decided against it because I like the way she is now, so I didn't evolve her. The only problem I had was she kept getting knocked out by supereffective attacks in one hit. Luckily, the item Eviolite solved that problem. (It works really well, so if anyone doesn't want to evolve a Pokemon but is worried about Defense and Special Defense, this is the item for you.)
Darn! I keep forgetting about posting my Friend Code. Hang on, let me get it for you. I can't trade now because I'm at home and don't have Wi-Fi for my DS here, but next week I'm at school where I do have it, so we can trade then. You wanted Pansear, right?

Yeah, it's especially noticeable when the opponent, while elementally weak to one of Simi's moves, is faster and a hard-hitter. There've been at least 3 separate occasions when an opponent Garchomp took down mine due to being faster on triggering Outrage, then mowed right over Simi before she could fire off her Ice Beam. Eelektross weathers the 3rd hit (with only 40 HP or so) but his Dragon Claw doesn't do enough damage to mitigate, and even if it did, he gets in a 1-against-3 situation...
Bottom line on the battles: I need better hold items (like a Focus Sash for Garchomp)

Yeah, similar situations have happened to my Simipour too. I think right now I have it holding a Mystic Water, but I should probably find it something like the Eviolite to hold.

Okay I have some good news and some bad news.
The good news is I can trade and/or battle...the bad news is I can do it just until the end of this week, and then a few times next week. I only can get Wi-Fi for my DS at school, and after next week I will be done. I will be taking a summer class at my school, so I might be able to do some trading, but not very often.
@Red: Let me know when you're ready for the trade. ^^ I don't have class tomorrow, but I will be occupied all day working on essays (oh joy... stare ). This Thursday however I'm available from 2:30-3:50-ish my time.

Sorry about dropping out of the tournament months ago.
Wi Fi hated me so much outside of Mystery Gift apparently.
Anyways, I did in fact get one of the two new games on the weekend they came out. I got Black Version due to a female friend several states over wanted the version with Zekrom( the black dragon) as oppose to Reshiram. If it wasn't for the fact the games was all Ying and Yang with the white dragon being available in Black version and vise verse I would have ended up with White.
I don't really mind though because other then the Mascot Legendary and 6 version exclusive ones there's not much of a change. I really didn't mind which dragon I got nor if I got Tornadus(black version) or Thundurus(white version), version exclusive roaming legendary Pokemon.
The only thing I don't like about Black version is that I have to settle with the Dark/Flying type vulture based Vullaby and Mandibuzz rather then the Normal/Flying Eagle based Rufflet and Braviary.
I've long since "beat" the game as far as the main story goes but yet to rechalleng the Elite Four and the Champion again. Mostly been focusing on catching and evolving all the pokemon I can. Which brings me to another point that I don't like about this game that I still enjoy to play. They add 156 new Pokemon and the ability to get all but 19 in game (this isn't including Victini or Zorua and Zoroark or other event exclusive legendaries since you need to get though through special means) in a game without trading with somebody else with a DS, and then they unlock all the other pokemon from the past games. And the reason I don't like that is because the game was a fresh start in a new land not connected to the past except for brief mentions, then there's just a flood of the old after the main story is over.
Other then that I love the game.
