Taiko wanted badly to go and confort Rikku, but he had to take care of the dog first. He stood up and called the owners. But ended up wanting to hang up in their faces as they started yelling at him, "You bone head! You WILL be hearing from our lawyers! " a woman yelled at him through the phone, he tried to talk to her but she continued, "I knew it was stupid to move near a slave and pet buyer! I am going to make sure those stupid animals of yours are kil-" but Taiko slammed the phone down and hung up the phone. He grumbled under his breath and walked out side and picked the dog's body up and took it back to the owners. After getting yelled at, Taiko walked back home and walked into Rikku's room, and laid on the bed next to her, petting her head. He didn't say anything, waiting to see how long it would take for her to stop crying.

Rikku was angered when she heard the woman yelling at Taiko from next door and wished she could do something about it but thought she had created enough trouble for Taiko already. She didn't see how it was right if Xion was punished after all it was Rikku herself who had killed the dog. Rikku heard Taiko come in and lay on the bed she just sat up and and rested her arms and her head on the window sill by her bed and sighed.

Taiko looked up at Rikku, still laying on her bed and said, "Rikku... please say something? I won't let them touch you or Xion. They can't hurt either of you two if I pay them a could thousand dollars." He looked down sadly and added, "Plus I wish you'd say something... It makes me sad when you don't tell me what your thinking..."

Rikku was still crying slightly, she wiped the tears away. Rikku sighed and then answered Taiko "I want to do something to help....but what can I do? I'm the one who caused all this mess" Rikku went back to staring out the window.

Taiko also sighed and sat up, not looking at Rikku as he replied, "Who knew that one silly dog could cause this crap..." then he looked sadly back at Rikku and said, "You can start by not acting so sadly... That would help me think straight a little... I'll use the money you gave me to help with this stuff..." then a thought came to his mind. He laughed and hugged Rikku and said, smiling, "How about this? You did a bad thing so I'm suppost to punish my naughty pets? Then let's just say your grounded for a month~"

Xion sighed, curling up on the windowsill, making herself into a small ball, resting her head on her paws as she watched the world outside.

"Okay..." Rikku said trying to smile and sound a bit happier "But if it were up to me....I'd be over there giving that lady a piece of my mind...." Rikku snapped angrily, sometimes Rikku found it hard to control her anger. Just the thought of that lady made Rikku feel sick. She looked back at Taiko and smiled "But if me being happy makes you happy... then I'm happy"

Xion sighed, catching an unfamiliar scent in the air, underneath the thick scent of the dog's blood. She padded outside, investigating the smell when her world was darkened as she was bundled into a bag. She found herself being lifted up into the air, splaying her claws out to try and keep herself orientated. She screamed Taiko and Rikku's name, but the bag muffled her calls as she was taken to the dog's owner's house.

Rikku got up and walked out to where Xion was and started "So Xion H-....Xion???....Xion?!?" Rikku ran back to Taiko "Xion's g-gone!" Rikku's face was pale and she had a terrified look in her eyes.

Takio thought for a moment then nodded. He walked over to a table and pulled out a collar and leash. He put the collar on Rikku's neck and snapped the leash onto it. "Sorry I have to put this on you. But I don't need them taking you too. Also I don't really need them pissing you off to the point where you turn on them."He laughed and kissed her head and said, "Just stay with me and don't do anything without asking me first, 'kay?" He tugged gently on the leash and walked out of the door with Rikku, heading next door. He handed Rikku the leash and breathed in. Then he kicked the neighbor's door in. "WHERE THE ******** IS XION?" he shouted into the house. He grabbed onto the leash again and gently pulled Rikku in the house along with him, stepping over the door that had been kicked off it's hindges.

Rikku tapped Taiko on the shoulder then turned to her wolf form and started sniffing around trying to get Xion's sent.

The woman who owned the house, looked horrified at her broken down door, glaring at Taiko. "You had no right to do that!" she growled, angry. The back door was open, a small breeze running through the house, bringing with it the scent of catnip from the back garden.
Outside, Xion had been drugged up on so much catnip she had collapsed, currently in the hands of a small child who was hugging her tightly to him, stroking her roughly.

Rikku looked at the lady and growled at her and then said "Like you had any right to kidnap her!!!" Rikku then followed the scent of catnip till she got outside and saw the kid holding Xion. She turned to Taiko not knowing what to do.
