 Ray turned to face Kiara but he could hear her speaking with another, "I'm sorry you seem busy, I was going to ask you if you could give me a hand with breakfast" he said. Ray tilted his head listening to the other conversation. He felt kinda bad now for asking.

 "Fair enough," Dakota finally stated after a while of laughing continuously. She did understand that doing things repetitively was boring and Nicholas wasn't the sort to bore, plus constantly smashing windows was naturally something that the rest of them would frown upon. "Where to next then, captain?" she asked with humour and curiosity. Dakota was now glad she had opted to continue travelling with Nicholas because now she'd have a chance to see the rest of the Underground and the people living there. Everything she saw was both new and exciting, with much promise.

Flying higher and faster into the air, Nicholas swerved and twirled as freely as he wanted with Dakota still in his arms. "We're going to stop by my place!" he laughed. "You'll love it there!" He flew over the trees and rivers. At times, Nicholas flew close to the waters almost enough to touch it. The waters reflected both him and Dakota before he shot back up into the air and headed toward Fay Paradise.

 "Of course I can." Kiara said with a smile. linking arms with Ray. She walked with him down the hall and stairs then toward the kitchen. "What would you like for breakfast Ray?"((I was starting off a new day with Ray. x3))

Kiara sighed and shook her head. "Some rules are made to be broken." She walked over to the boy and hugged him again. "It's a shame your father couldn't see that."

Ray smiled and said, "If you don't mind, you can surprise me? Trust me when I say I can't peak" he said with a light giggle. Ray was quite happy as he came to terms with being a blind shifter. He soon wanted to start doing more then just making himself at home, he felt that he should be useful to Kiara.
"Kiara? You are truly very kind to me. But I don't want to simply live here the way I am. I wish to be useful to you in anyway I can. I was formally a soldier after all" he stated and even smiled politely, "I want you to make me your guard, your soldier. I am peaceful by nature but I have served for countless centuries. I would gladly and willingly serve someone as kind as you Kiara if you will take me" he stated clearly. ((Right... sorry...))

"Alright." Kiara chuckled and walked over to the fridge. She pulled out eggs, bacon, milk and sausage. Placing some of it in a pan on the stove she then went to the pantry and brought out a loaf of bread. Next she retrieved cinnamon and sugar, having had a lot of time by herself before Kiara had become an excellent cook.
Kiara listened to his request and chuckled. "You are useful to me just by being here Ray." She said, one could almost hear the smile in her voice. "If you really want to though, I will but only on one condition." She filled two plates with food, setting them at the small kitchen table along with utensils and a glass of orange juice for each of them.((It's ok^^))

Ray listened to the sound of her voice as she started cooking. The smell of the cooking food smelled so good. He could already tell what it was but kept his mouth shut in case Kiara intended to surprise him like he wanted.
"What is your condition?" he asked curiously as he moved and sat down at the small table feeling it out with his powers so he didn't need to see it.

"Scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage and french toast." She said naming off the things she had made. "Hope you like it. Oh, and if you want something else to drink let me know."
"It's simple really. I don't want you to treat me any differently if I make you my guard. We are friends, first and foremost." Kiara took a bite of food as she waited for him to answer, aside from the animal's Ray would be her only guard.

Ray smiled, "Orange juice please" he asked politely as he began to dig into the spread. Stopping between bites for a moment he spoke, "You are the one who found me. You are my most valuable friend. I would like nothing better then to be there for you and protect you. It will change nothing between us" he stated.

Kiara smiled and handed one of the glasses to him. "Good." She said, a big smile on her face. "I usually go for patrols throughout the day. I'll probably head out for one after we finish eating, if you'd like to accompany me." She said then took a few bites of the food.
