"An honor to be here," he replied. This one seemed to be more reasonable than the others. Dante could definitely get information from this person. "Now, I've fought these monsters before and it seemed to me that normal people can't see them unless a strong light is directed at the nightcrawlers. How can we lure them out into a fight?"

"Maybe you were waiting." She pointed out stubbornly. Even though that thought had crossed her mind, she wasn't going to admit that to him. When he said he would join them she felt a slight smile on her lips, but she was still slightly irritated with him. "Great, uh, thanks. All I did was ask a question, that's hardly considered jumping somebody." She said with a roll of her eyes.
"Oh right. I'm Dekka. And you are?" She asked him curiously. Dekka watched him turn the pine needles to ice, feeling slightly impressed. She had to fight back the urge to light them on fire, having the feeling it would piss him off even more. No, it was best not to test her luck with him.
A moment later, DA appeared, holding a shard of shadows to the still nameless newcomers throat. 'If he doesn't like me already, he's going to love her way of handling things' She thought sarcastically. "Well that's my que to leave. See ya." She said to him with a slight wave before turning and leaving. Maybe leaving them alone wasn't the best idea...
[[Ep's theme song's Black Veil Brides, that makes me happy. Haha. They're my favorite band, even got to meet Andy and the band. <3 ]]

((YOU GOT TO MEET THEM?????? biggrin :O crying Lucky. smile ))
Nightingale still held the shard to the person's throat. "Explain. I don't take well to newcomers." She said pressing the shard closer to his neck. As Dekka left, she wait for the responce, but had a slight feeling that maybe jumping him like this wasn't the best first impression to give, but he did ruin her chances of getting her memories erased.
"Eprical!" A strange screeching voice called. "Yea?" Eprical said walking into the underground cavern that was lit very dimly, because well that's how the nightcrawlers liked it. "You have yet again total disregard for your king." A diffrent hushed voice said." "No, I just have disregard for being summoned like a dog." Eprical replied to the voice. "Do you have a task for me, your highness?"

(K I don't feel like typing interactions between Stacey and Hopp, so this is what happened: Hopp jumped from being startled, stood and turned to stare at Stacey. They realized who each other was and hugged, had 5 seconds of catching up and then walked over to the group together. BTW I'm putting up stacey's pic in her profile, sorry if it makes your eyes bleed.)
Hopp walked with stacey slowly over to the situation. Leaning awkwardly against a tree, Hopp said, "Why are you holding that to his neck?! Are you crazy or something?! " He began to move toward Nightingale and lifted his hand to grab her wrist. The crazed look in his eye remained even after he was pulled back by Stacey. Ignoring everything around him, he stood tensely, just glaring at Nightingale for her hostility. --------------- Stacey's eyes widened when she felt Hopp pulling away. Her hand tightened on Hopp's arm to keep him out of the dispute. She managed to speak with a fragile voice,"Guys, we are all a little tired and stressed, can't we just sit down and TALK it out?" Feeling that Hopp was tense, she let go of his arm and put her hand on his shoulder and klenched(sp) a little.
(so is it night or is the sun rising? or has it been day for a couple of pages and I didn't even realize it? XP)

((It's ok JP I don't like doing that either. I thought it was supposed to be day....))
"You all misunderstand and unless you want to lose an arm Hopp I suggest you don't touch me again." Nightingale said with liquid venom in her voice at the touch from Hopp. Pulling back her arm from the intruders neck, she made the shadow shard disappear. Nightingale took a step back from the vampire she was interogating. Her wings still out streched came closer to her body, tucking in on her back.
Looking with glowing eyes at the vampire she asked again, "What are you doing here?"
"Ah yes your task Eprical. Well... I hear that today, or rather last night there was an attack at stonehenge of my nightcrawlers... I want you to get rid of the people who attacked them. Kill them, but join them first." THe screeching voice said.
"Yes your highness." Eprical said with determination flashing through his eyes.

Hopp didn't remove his glare from Nightingale, "I have one eye and it's going fine for me, I think I'll be fine with one arm." He removed his glare and pushed past her to sit on the ground. --------------- Stacey froze up and took a step back from the group. As Hopp walked away, she began to follow and said to the group, "Sorry he usually isn't this moody."

((Hi! Ya, it's daytime.))
"Vera? If you're done now, we should get back to the group?" Evangeline asked when their breakfast was done and packed away again. "I don't really...want to go back," Vera said, still flipping through her cards. She glanced at Evangeline's expression and sighed. "You go on then. I'll catch up with you in the clearing."
Evangeline gave her a doubtful glance before walking back for the forest and the clearing the temporary PAN base stood. She saw what looked like an argument starting between DA and the newcomer vampire. But with a glance at DA, Evangeline decided against asking what was happening and settled down against a tree to watch. ----
Once Evangeline had vanished amongst the trees, Vera stood up and stowed her cards away. The orange-haired soul crept along the rocks until she had reached the one the boy--fine, the man--had disappeared under the day before. Hana said this was an entrance to their headquarters...so maybe I can find it. she thought resolutely, poking bits and pieces of a stick around until one vanished through the stone. Hello nightcrawler nest.

Nightingale was becoming frustrated with the new comers silence. Taking a step toward him again, she stopped. "Take this as a warning vampire sent from heavan. I don't mess around and I'm ready to take you out if I have to." Tucking her wings away under her, Nightingale walked off to find Hana again.
Finding Hana by the other newcomer was easy. "Hana, we need to talk later if that's ok. Hello." Nightingale said to the man there.
Reprical was walking out of the tunnels to the Stonehenge entrance when he heard someone walking in. Deciding not to alarm them too bad he let out a stepping sound ans decided to talk when he got closer to the entrance.
"Um hello? It's really not a good idea to be down here. You can get lost for miles on end." Reprical said out loud to Vera before he saw her.

"I'm not too worried about getting lost," Vera replied coolly, seeing a non-nightcrawler approach her. She glanced around, back to where she had slipped through. There was a shaft leading up to the stone, but nothing showed from the surface.Clever. she approved mentally and returned to face the boy. "Do you live down here?"

"I have no idea what's happening," Zetes said sullenly. "Someone explain this for me."
At his interjection Jule turned and fixed him with an assessing stare. "It's a routine. If you'd been paying attention long enough, we're on another round of that old cycle: running into a new person, questioning their motives, verbally attacking them, and somehow coming to trust them on no basis whatsoever." Her gaze fell upon Zetes's bloodied sleeves and she seemed to recognize him for the first time. "They obviously made a mistake with you."
Zetes cocked his head to the side, uncomprehending. "What's that you said just now?"
At that moment Vaness shifted slightly on Jule's shoulder and murmured something unintelligible. Jule stiffened and immediately checked to see if her grip on him was slipping, concern written over her features. The same revelation Jule had experienced now showed on Zetes's face, and he met her challenging gaze with smugness and new understanding.
"He doesn't recognize you, I take it?"
The girl's tense face tightened into a snarl. She dropped Vaness to the floor before storming forward and grabbing Zetes by the collar. The man was all smiles, making no attempt to disengage her hold.
"Two escaped convicts, battling for the good of humankind? What would your mother think?" He laughed, eyes glittering with gleeful rage. "Oh. I'm sorry; I forgot you don't have one. You don't even know if you're of human descent."
Jule halted, exhaling slowly. It was the old insults again. She could handle this. "It doesn't matter anymore, does it? Most of PAN isn't even human."
"It's full of monsters."
She raised an eyebrow. "You say that like it's a good thing."
The silence that followed hung like a silvery tendril of spiderweb before Zetes suddenly spoke again, his voice sharp. "Get your hands off me."
Without further protest Jule released him and went to pick up Vaness, who was still unconscious. They caught up with Lilian as she walked back toward the Stonehenge monument but kept at a distance away from each other.
---
Lilian continued walking, all too aware of the tense silence behind her. More PAN members. Would the work be split up if they had enough people? She'd noticed a foolish human man who had gotten knocked out on his first fight on Stonehenge. Now, that was a cause for concern. They weren't a babysitting service, were they?
She was still feeling so tired. She hadn't slept a wink.
She quietly followed Vera to the portal and looked on with little interest.

Reprical looked at the girl again. "Are you alone?" His eyes turned into a dark red color as he walked a few steps closer to the girl. "I live here, alone....For all intends and purposes." He came closer to Vera. Reaching out a hand to put on Vera's shoulder.

Vera flinched away from his touch but she stayed within an arm's length of him. His eyes had just changed colors, but the soul saw no reason to fret because of it; Evangeline's eyes changed colors whenever she used magic, and Evangeline's best friend's eyes changed color with her mood. It was no big deal.
"I should be," Vera answered vaguely. Evangeline certainly hadn't followed her and she assumed everyone else was at the clearing still. "Who are you?"

"So you are alone then. Good... All very very good... Why are you here then? In this darkened black tunnel?" Reprical asked pulling his arm back. He was rethinking this persons motives. He had to protect the colony of nightcrawlers that he called his family. "Who sent you? My name is Ep."

"It's good I'm alone?" Vera asked with a raised eyebrow. "No one sent me. I found it myself...why? Were you expecting someone?"
She decided against telling about what Hana had said now. She wanted to find the creatures herself first.
"So if you live down here, Ep...could you give me a tour?"

((Oh...I missed a lot. I skimmed through most of the posts so if I missed a detail that's incredibly important and my post doesn't go along with the current plot, tell me.))
Akahana had definitely sensed the new being, after all, he was one of her kind. It wasn't his aura that set him off, it was the cold, hungry eyes that held the blackest of powers that did. Vera seemed to be talking to him though and she didn't seem to be threatened for the time being, Akahana decided to stay hidden close to them though. Mainly to be sure he didn't harm Vera. She made sure her demonic aura was still masked, making her appear like a normal human. Dark had vanished to goodness knows where so now only God or Satan would be the ones to tell the difference.
