Shadow gave him a smile and murred, scooting close to him and nuzzled into him a bit, enough for him to not notice, "Well, I'm ever so grateful for you staying with me and being my best friend, I've always needed a friend and I'm glad you are mine. I want to give you another present." He said as he dug out his check pad, writing a check for a quarter of a million dollars, ripping it off and handing it to him, "Think of it as a major tip, for the wonderful friendship." He said as he hugged him, murring and cuddling into him a bit.

James stifled a yelp when he saw the amount, "Wha... How...?" he stammered, then started to hugged him back, "Thanks... I can't believe this..." he said.

Shadow chuckled with a wide smile, glad that he was happy, "Well, I don't like it when people don't get what they deserve, you deserved a better life, and I think you deserved that." He said with a murr.

James scratched his head, "I don't know what to say..." he looked at Chaos, "If you want anything, just ask..." he told him, "The least I could do..." he hugged him some more, and stood up. "Well, I guess you want to get some sleep..."

Shadow smiled and nodded, "Don't mention it, and yes, I would like to get some sleep, I'm going to go to bed, i think it's night time. Good night." He blushed a bit and whispered, "I love you, James." and gave him a quick soft kiss on the cheek, walking out and into his bedroom, blushing deeply.

James was surprised, he was about to ask what it was about, but he sighed, "I'll ask tomarrow..." he mumbled, realizing how tired he was, and that he liked how it felt.

Shadow got into his bed and blinked his eyes a bit, cuddling into the pillow and slowly starting to drift off, falling asleep quickly.

James fell asleep on Shadow's couch, not really in the mood for moving to far. He let one leg hang off the couch, the other was leaning against the other end. He watched the ceiling, thinking.

Shadow yawned and sat up as morning came, stretching and smiling, letting out a murr and chuckling. He got up and took a shower, getting dressed and smiling, walking out into the room and ordering some breakfast on the room service, looking over to the couch and going over to it, chuckling and looking down at James.

James looked over at him, adn smiled, "Hey." he didn't sleep last night. But he usually didn't sleep.
He sat up and stretched, "What's for breakfast?" he asked, he'd ask him after breakfast.

Shadow chuckled and gave him a smile, "Oh, lots of stuff, cinnamon rolls, breakfast burritos, biscuits and gravy, all the good stuff." He said with a chuckle, walking over to the couch with two colas, tossing him one and sitting down on the couch, giving him a murr, smiling warmly at him.

James nodded, and grinned, "Sounds good." he opened the coke and took a sip. He relaxed a bit and sighed.
