Obscurus When religious folk advertise they're trying to get people to come to church. When atheists advertise they're trying to troll religious folk. Which of these would you take more seriously? It speaks volumes to why people don't like atheists in general, including myself. Or maybe they're advertising because they feel opressed by the church. That seems a legitimate enough reason for campaigning against it. : P

That seems a legitimate enough reason for campaigning against it. : P Or maybe because the church feels oppressed by atheists. That sounds like a reasonable explanation. Btw Christians advertise because they want others to have salvation. It's not really about coming to church; It's about getting to know Jesus, though the church can aid you with that.

If you are on this page then you must really be intrested in the word Reality. Reality is that the human mandkind has been dumbed down over time. Over time lots have began to forget the Reality of Existance. "We are all born to die". Not only as individuals but as a whole. Everything that is born eventually will die. So knowing that makes lots wonder about life, why we are here, and what to do while we are here. Well truth is you can do whatever you want, and be whatever you would like to be. Like the quote "Get in, Where you fit in." Find something that you love to do, Make the best of yourself, be happy, learn from the past, know the present, and prepare for the future. God being real or not, will not effect the Reality of our Existance. It is deeper then god. When we think of god, or a godly figure it is to pray for help or forgiveness. God helps us through what we call life. Think of when someone talks to god, it is to ask for forgiveness for a sin that was commited that you know was wrong. So are you asking god for forgiveness or are you really only asking yourself for forgiveness. I am not saying that there is no godly figure but i just do not limit my thoughts to one man saving me from all evil. Now there are some things that I wonder about this world. Like why our solar system is so perfect. Why is it that if the earth was 10 feet closer to the sun we would burn, and if it was 10 feet farther we would freeze. Why does our planet have gravity or an ozone layer, why are there less people instead in studying biology (Study of Life)? Why do we build up? and we dont even know whats at the bottom of our oceans. Why after ALL this time, we know so little about the planet we lived on.

I always believed God made the entire beautiful universe for us! 4laugh It's a huge gift for our admiration, and we have Someone to thank it for. Philip UAF you're not quite there yet in discovering what's true, but you're on a start! Everything is just sooo perfect that a divine power could have created everything. It really is possible. I think they're just human beings that refuse to accept how inherently irrational the human condition is, especially their own behavior.
