Angel rolled onto her feet, and began barking madly. She dived under the bed, whining, expecting to get hit.
(If you're wondering, her brothers would abuse her especially during thunderstorms. D: I dunno why. xD)

Angel shook her head, retreating further under he bed and whining. Her ears were flat against her head, her eyes fearful. It was as if she was saying, Don't hurt me please! I don't wanna get hit!
