Vane sat near Sifen as they ate but when an alarm sounded and someone called out to man their stations Vane looked to Sifen a little confused. "W-Whats going on S-Sifen?" He asked softly, hoping that he wouldn't get Sifen into trouble.

Vane looked to Sifen and followed behind him and Knight. "I-Is there anything I can do to h-help?" He was worried about Sifen getting caught and punished, knowing that the punishment would be death.

"Help us get these summons out there.That's one of the methods we can use to stand up to her."he said.
Dove ran into the room,her face a bit more pale than before."...he's here."she whispered.

Vane moved about, doing whatever he could to help Sifen and Knight to put up the summons. He followed their orders, not even hesitating for a second as he moved from place to place. When Dove ran in and spoke his head tilted to the side in confusion but he continued to move about.

Outside,a blonde man with a rifle was seen.
"By order of the Fuhrer,open up!"he yelled,firing bloodfire shots into the fortress.

Vane now stood with Sifen, looking around the room and hoping that all that they had just done would keep the others from entering the keep they were currently hidden in. "S-Sifen...? Do we s-stand a chance a-against whoever is out there?" He whispered softly, hoping that no one else could hear him for he didn't want to seem weak to any of the people that mattered to Sifen.

"Brettus is a force to be reckoned with.When he found me...he killed me on the spot.Then went off to murder my...daughter..."he sniffled.
The sound of gunfire was hitting the fortress,which meant that time was running out.However,the sound of a fire crackling interrupted them.

Vane placed a comforting hand on Sifen's shoulder as he listened to Sifen, then his spine went straight when he heard and smelled fire. He looked about trying to figure out where it was at and if they were in danger of being trapped between the fire and the male that was outside.

"Vane!Get out of there!"Amber cried out,running into the room,a shield of blood trying to protect her as she dragged the male out.
Outside,Dove was counting off who was safe.Brettus had escaped again,which meant that the Fuhrer would know where they were now.Everything had been secured,but someone was missing.
"Are we missing anyone?"Knight asked,strapping a few summon scrolls to his armored belt.

 Vane Nykyrian Wade Vane looks to Amber, his eyes going wide as she runs towards him yelling for him to get out. He jumps into motion, moving quickly as he runs towards her and picks her up in his arms. "Hold on little one." He moves her to his back, hoping she would be able to hold on tight enough as he sniffs the air to try and catch Sifen's scent or the scent of the male that had been with them. He starts to run through the tunnels with Amber on his back, following the scent of Knight through them until he bursts out of the tunnels mere feet from the group. Once he sees everyone outside he drops to his knees after exerting so much energy getting himself and Amber out of the tunnels. "Y-Your s-safe now l-little one. Go to the others and t-tell them your s-safe." He whispers as he tries to catch his breath. He was too busy trying to slow his breathing that he didn't notice that someone was missing from their group.

"Mr. Vane...papa...papa's still back there..."she sniffled,pointing to the inferno.Knight sniffed the air and his eyes turned red.Something was not right here.
"Dove,are you sure we have everyone here?"he asked,still surveying the area.A loud blood curdling cry could be heard after everyone tried to answer this.

Vane Nykyrian WadeVane looks up at Amber, horror evident on his face as her words process in his head. He jumps and turns to the group, looking to the male that had been with himself and Sifen in the tunnels. "Sir, I can sniff out Sifen, but I need someone to help me maneuver through all the tunnels. Someone that would know them blind folded. Can you help me...p-please..." Vane stood there, looking to Knight as he shifts from foot to foot, tempted to just shift into his wolf form and dash off. But he shoved that idea from his mind, knowing that the idea would get not only himself kill but also Sifen. But as he waited for an answer his worry and fear for Sifen's life were evident to all around, It was easy to see that he cared for Sifen in a deeper manner then he had tried to play it off as when Amber had first asked if he liked her father. (())

"You're quite the familiar,I can tell you that."Knight said,taking out a rifle and storming back into the catacombs.
A few minutes later,they emerged with Amber's father,only to see black marks on his skin.He was shocked on seeing these firsthand,given how his own brother barely talked about the past.
"What..what are those?"the boy whispered.

Vane Nykyrian WadeVane smiled weakly at Knight before nodding his head slightly. "Thank you, I guess." Vane held Sifen in his arms, being careful so as not to hurt him in any way. As he held Sifen he mentally asked Sifen a question. 'S-Sifen, if you are injured would you like to take blood from me to help heal yourself?' Vane didn't want to do anything to embarrass Sifen so he tried not to seem to worried by the marks that were appearing all over Sifen. Though inside he was mentally pacing back and forth with worry. (())
