"Alessa! You're OK!" Igneous was glad to see that another from her train car was on this path, even if she was in her bunny form at the moment. "She was with us when we started out but I didn't see what path she had taken." she explained by way of apology for her outburst.

"Glad to meet you all. This place is so strange! It is good to see beings that are normal - not made of snow or fluff or smelling of mint!"

She walked over to Rain. "Are you OK? You look a little battered... I don't have any bells but you can have one of my pills if you need it. I would hate to see you pass out or anything."

Was it possible that it was even colder down this path, Jackdamnit! The she-wolf shivered even with the thick fur of her coat keeping her body mostly warm. Oh this was just great. She took one step at a time, glancing to check on her traveling companion. One foot in front of the other, a tingle racing along her spine and she stumbled and yipped as face met snow. All her fur disappeared and the humanoid version of the she-wolf cursed into the white doom.

LW pushed herself up into a sitting position and glared. Stupid snow. It was too Jacking cold! And wet. Sighing, she got to her feet, tail swishing to shake off the snow lodged in her fur. The she-wolf sniffed at the air and picked up the scents of fellow students somewhere up ahead of them. Her nose wrinkled as she also picked up the 'happy' stink that came from this place.

Alright, she was determined to kick this places butt. If she didn't freeze first. And speaking of freezing, LW looked to the kitty cat. "Y-you still s-surviving?" Maybe she should carry him until her next shift? She snorted to herself. He'd probably freak out.

Despite the ongoing onslaught of Yetis, Alessa peeked her head out of Gabe's arms again-this was becoming on odd pattern, considering all the ducking and shielding going on-, her ears twitching at the sound of a familiar voice. She perked visibly at the sight of a familiar face. "Ohhh, Igneous, right? I'm so glad to see you! I thought you might have gone down Candy Cane Lane with the others..." She shivered a bit at the mention of it, not wanting to think about what had happened to most of her car.

"And, yeah, I'm sorry, I...kinda got turned around," she admitted sheepishly. Er, bunnyishly? It was rather embarrassing to get so lost as to go in the opposite direction, but there was nothing to do with it now.

Gabrian glanced from the bunny in his arms to the er... stone ghoul calling and only managed a small tilt of his head, "You know each other?" of course, Igneous soon enough mentioned they'd been from the same car, and the nix, nodded in understanding, "Ahhh... that makes sense then," interestingly enough, it seemed like a big part of Alessa's car had been partially suicidal, taking into account they'd gone down the candy cane lane.

He was still trying to figure out what would posses them to go down a route that they'd clearly been warned against, but alas... Gabrian wasn't the bravest of boils. In fact, he was mostly bad when it came to fighting, which was why he was surprised to be in better shape than his sister, "Rain apparently got into a fight with a... aaahhh.. snow ninja? I believe that's what she called it.

A small way aways, he spotted Johan, whom he recognized from the Gromble car, though unfortunately, not by name, "Seems another of my car comrades has shown up. How about that; I was sure they'd all taken the other route."

Johan cringed at the snow thing's parting pun, and watched with wide eyes as its head rolled away. It was actually quite satisfying to see the resulting chaos caused by the steadily growing snowball, though. Since there was no one close enough to see it, he allowed one corner of his mouth to quirk upward.

But enough of this. Even if the encounter had been brief, and Johan had managed to get rid of the thing quickly, he'd still been hurt. It was clear to him that he should try to stay close to the other students. So, he picked up the slim, purple present the snow thing had left behind, and attempted to walk a bit more quickly, so as to catch up to the large group ahead of him.

As he drew closer, he swore he recognized a few students from Gromble. Hadn't the rest of them headed down to the Island? Yes, there was Quarria, and even the violin-playing boil. Johan quickly checked to make sure the pieces of the violin were still safely stored away beneath the bandages. Good, they didn't seem to have suffered any further damage.

"I hear a lot of different people coming," Alessa commented, her ears moving just as she said this, as if responded to said sounds. "It's hard to make out among all the commotion though, so I don't know how many or how far..." She tried to crane her neck a little, which was honestly pointless because if anyone could see who was coming it'd be Gabe since he obviously had a better view. Knowing that there was someone coming by his comment, she wiggled enough to get one little front paw free, which she then proceeded to wave back and forth in hopes someone would see. Again, rather pointless perhaps, but she was trying. "Hey~! Over here!"

(Serpent Buddies forever! XD Quarria would like that. It wasn't just her logic that made her come up the mountain. She wanted to make sure he didn't freeze. SHE CARES, MAN.
And awesome, I have enough time to post before I have to go! Woo!)

"Gabrian, there you are!" She called with a worried smile, slithering up toward her Nix friend. As he smiled, her own turned into a happier grin, even if it was still a worried one. He looked relatively okay, and he was carrying a... rabbit? She was slightly confused but figured it was another student or something. "I wasn't expecting to come this way, actually. But, the needs of many outweigh my own comfort. I would be a better asset up here then on the Island. Living/warm train-serpent and all. And," She unfurled a wing and folded it around Gabrian a bit, trying to warm him up a little. If he wanted, he could lean into the feathers, but if he didn't he could push them away. "I didn't want you to freeze up here." If serpents could blush, she probably would have at this point. But it was true. She'd convinced herself that she was needed up here so that she could come and make sure he would be okay. (And you know, not freeze. Serpents got to stick together, right?)

She smiled a little and looked around at everyone after he had patted her side (which had made her feel very happy, by the way). "In any case, The Amphithere Express is back. Want to ride? I'm sure that you'll need the warmth more up here then down in the forest, and my wing-feathers are the warmest thing I can provide, and people can sit snuggling into them if they're on my back. Plus, I do work as a pretty effective train, and the easiest way I can keep from freezing myself (cold-blooded and all, like when you're in serpent form) is to have people sit on me and share their body heat." She lowered her head so she would be at a closer eye level then before, her frill of feathers puffed happily. "And I don't quite believe we got to finish our discussion about how Nix play music, did we?" She asked with a kind smile, happy she had found her friend.

(Anyone can ask her for a ride, by the way. She was carrying half/most of the Gromble Train Car at one point in time.)

A mountain in the distance grumbles deeply and starts moving toward you. Oh wait, it's not a mountain in the distance, it's a yeti that's getting really very close. "Cousin Maynard?" It asks as it approaches you. It seems kind of friendly? You hope. "You owing me twelve peppermint points..." Maybe not.

Damage from Yeti: 2 points.
Damage from Quarria: 8 - 6 = 2 points.

"Excuse me?" She asked, as the yeti came toward her. For one thing, she was a THIRTY-FOOT SERPENT. How can anyone mistake that for a yeti?? Oh snap, this wasn't even a friendly yeti, and it thought she was cheating him out of some points! The nerve of that creature. It had practically bumbled into her, which hadn't hurt her much, considering she was bigger then the thing, but still. She murmured over to Gabrian and his companion before returning her attention to the creature, "Sorry to interupt our conversation Gabrian, I hope this won't take long." Baring her fangs, she gave an angry hiss and flared her feather crest. Then, she launched her mouth toward the furry creature, hoping to bite it with her dragon-sharp teeth.

"Ah Cousin you Refuse to Pay Eh... You have grown..." He grumbles softly shifting. "No Matter you will Pay up." Not bothering with the bite the poor fellow's hair appears to cover his eye. With a swing of his arm he attempts to deck you.

Quarria felt the arm smack into her body, but it wasn't like the yeti had done much; she was even still attached where she'd bitten. It was a good thing she had such strong scales. Since she didn't have any riders right now, the amphithere decided to do what any serpent could do in such a condition. Constriction time. The thirty-foot-long cord of dragon coiled for a moment, and then tried to constrict around the yeti and suffocate it or something to that extent. While she was doing this, the dragon couldn't help but say, even with her mouth still clamped to the yeti, "I believe you're the one who owes me peppermint points!"

She heard the rabbit announce her name, and Gabrian explaining who Quarria was, along with saying that he would take her up on her offer later, and not to get hurt. Even in the midst of this battle, his words had made her feel happy. Now she just had to kill this thing and be done with it. Apparently, she shouldn't be thinking about such things during battle though, as her constriction failed.

Kilometer trailed behind LW as they made their way into the path of hell; the Icy Path. It was as if this trip could not get any worse it just did. The coldness in this area seemed to have it's own levels of cold. The numbness could not even escape this degree and he began to shiver even more. What a wasteful effort. Non living things can not gain warmth from shivering. After all, shivering is what circulates the blood to try to get it pumping to keep your body warm. If one is dead there is not warm blood flow. His shivering must have been instincts from when he was alive.

Kilometer paused and waited for LW to finish shifting forms. Man that must have been annoying. Oddly enough it seems he doesn't have to worry about that? Or at least he hasn't been feeling a sensation of shifting. Maybe he was broken.

Her height was much taller now, Kilometer now had to look up at her. "No." Answering her question. How could he be surviving? He's already dead. it's impossible for a dead thing to be surviving. "I'm waiting for the numbness to kick in," he added, not exactly going anywhere with his statement. Does undead things even GET numb? It might be an endless wait if not.

"You must be cold though." LW as she was now was not exactly equipped for such climate. Kilometer began to wonder if maybe she was worse off them him.

As he grabbed the pack from Draven he took off back toward the exit. "Now you two are going to have to catch up to me!" Laughing as he ran he bounced and jumped as he turned to look over his shoulder at the other two ,more then happy to run ahead and put some of his abundant energy to use.

"Ha!" Draven let out something between a caw and laugh. "You won't get too far ahead of us!" He would have to pay the werewolf back for carrying his pack. With any luck, Draven would be in human form again. He hoped.

He leaped, flapped and glided above the snow for a few feet. After a quick landing and a hop, he turned back to Eracs, "We can keep up with him!" he yelled before taking to the air again. He stayed low to the ground, and circled a bit between his two friends. The mock raven was more than comfortable letting the werewolf lead, and he didn't want to get too high; he wasn't sure if Eracs was used to him as bird yet. In his mind, staying low was a nice thing to do.

The air was nice and crisp, in a way he wasn't used to. Draven was in a good mood, and it seemed his friends were, too. Between that, and the excitement of raiding Christmas, Draven was in a great mood.

Her pace was slower in this form as she more so shuffled her feet instead of fully picking them up. They were numb anyways. Maybe this would teach her not to hate shoes so much? Yeah. Right. Her tail dragged behind her as well which seemed to be creating an easier path for Kilo to walk along. Unless she shifted forms to wolf. Actually, she much preferred that form right now. It was at least warmer with all her fur. Both of them so needed to find a way to warm up. And what the hell was with this path?! No wonder a majority (or what seemed to be) of their fellow students had gone the other way. It must have been warmer.

She snickered at his 'No'. Well, she didn't blame him for not surviving this cold. Hell, she was barely surviving. And these Jack damned shifts occurring randomly were driving her insane. So far, it looked like Kilo was stuck in that form. "Hate to say it, but if it hasn't kicked in now...I don't think it will." Her toes could vouch for that one. "Least we're moving. Moving is s'posed ta keep you warm." LW rolled her eyes totally not buying that one right now.

This time she laughed instead of a giggle. "Me? Cold?!" She flicked her tail so it bumped him lightly. "I'm surprised there aren't icicles clinging to my tail! 'Sides. You're smaller. We should be more worried about you." The she-wolf frowned a little. "I'd offer to carry you...but I don't think you'd appreciate crashing into the snow when I shift." She'd face planted enough times now to know it sucked.

Alright now the giggle escaped as she continued to trek through the snow. "Should have kept that cape." LW glanced back at him. "You were kinda cute with it." She teased the cat. Talking helped to distract from the cold. At least a little bit.
