Whatever decision the group made, Petro would stand by it. But as evening descended, the monster couldn't help but feel worried. "Y're right, we are losing time. Which path'r we gonna take? Mountains or the island? We should make that decision now so we know where to head."
He noticed the marid's exhaustion, but then a lot of them were feeling tired at this point. Still, he couldn't help but be more concerned for her (but that just might be his mama's upbringing doing the talking), "Y'sure you don't need help with your things? I don't mind carrying 'em for you," then turning towards the other members in the group, "Offer stands f'r you all, too." Though there was a hint of warning that they better not all take him up on it. He was a guardin-in-training, not a pack mule.

"You choose," Laiha said, daring to look away from Xi for only a moment, "Some of us will go by mountain, some of us will go by island. There will be others." That being said, she turned back to Xi.

XxEternal MelodyxX Marushii XxEternal MelodyxX Marushii XxEternal MelodyxX Xi gasped as another one of those trees blocked his path. This time it was attacking him! Xi reacted quickly though and quickly threw a roundhouse quick at the tree.
Xi: 25 HP
Tree: 6 - 6 = 0. 0 Damage. 3 HP  "Oh! D-d-dear! You don't give hugs like that!" The tree attempts to reach out and grab Xi with its long limbs. HP: 3
Xi: 25 HP. 8 - 6 = 2 Damage. 23 HP.
Tree: 4 - 6 = -2. 0 Damage. 3 HP"Aww! Someone's been having a rather bad day!" The tree quipped cheerfully, ignoring the kick and trying to grab him again. HP: 3
Xi: 23 HP. 8 - 6 = 2. 2 Damage. 21 HP left.
Tree: 3 HP. 3 - 6 = -3. 0 Damage. 3 HP left."Dye? Nono! I wouldn't want to ever change my color! Though... Maybe red with white stripes would help my complexion?" The tree seemed to tilt to one side to think on this, tipping to the left rather dangerously.

"Come on Xi! Kick it's a**!" He called again. Poor guy was struggling so much against that tree. Hopefully he'd make it out okay.
His ears perked at the mention of which route was to be taken. "I think the majority of us have decided to go with the water route." He answered. "We want to see if these cards we won have any use there. Since it mentions Seafear Island Securities and there is an island in that direction." He added.

He quirked a brow at this then turned to Haku, Nefertari, and Tahki's general direction, "How 'bout you? Which path'r you gonna take?" Oh Tro didn't have a preference between the actual paths. It was the company, more than anything and the tikbalang would happily accompany his friends..

Well, all things now considered, perhaps she should accept Petro's help. Jack knew if left to fend for herself, sleep deprived as she was, she was likely to be left behind rather quickly. Sighing, the demon slipped her phone back into the folds of her skirts before fishing her healing belle from the depths of her pack. "I think I will take you up on that offer after all, Petro is it?" Tipping her chin, she looked up at the tall boil, way up, and tried for a grateful smile, though it likely came out a little wilted around the edges. Lack of sleep in normal circumstances was a very bad idea for the marid. Lack of sleep in a land full of JOY was torturous.
Dark lips pursed as she noticed the tree attempting to lash unwelcome affection upon Petro. "After you beat that tree, of course."
She didn't bother trying to stand just yet. Instead letting her weight rest against Tybalt's side. Soaking in his warmth was she succumbed to sporadic trembling. Jack dammit, she didn't even Babette energy to shiver properly. She didn't bother adding her two cents to the discussion of game plans. Honestly, she was in favor of whatever plan let her stay close to the ghost dogs side, and his delicious warmth.

The dizziness seemed stronger than usual, possibly because of all this Jack Damned JOY the tree practically reeked of. He tried to reach for his snowlauncher but the sudden upheaval of the ground resulting from the tree's failed attempt to jump caused the fallen weapon to roll out of reach. He instead charged at the tree, aiming at its roots. For all the good that would do him in his human form.

Ahhh... Now Petro was being attacked? For Jack's sake. They were going to be wiped out before they even got of the forest and if they did manage, by some fluke, to get to Christmas Town, they were going to be killed from having no strength left. "Come on Petro! Show it who's boss!" Oh well, looks like all he could do right now was cheer him on.
"Jeez! You ought to be freezing in an outfit like that." He squeaked, only having just noticed how poorly dressed the djinn was for this kind of climate. It even looked like she was trying to get some body heat from him. Unfortunately, being a ghost, he didn't really have any to offer.
"Umm... I think I have a jacket in my bag, if you need one, Yaya." He offered. He had bought one just before getting on the train. It was kind of useless for him though, being a ghost an all and now that he was stuck in his natural form, it really was just a waste of baggage. It might as well go to someone who really needed it.

Even the illusion of heat had been better then simply standing in the could. Of course, sleep deprived as she was, it had seemed to her that she was getting -some- warmth from the ghost dog. He was solid, after all, or mostly so. Solid enough for her to rest her forhead on his back.
She perked back up a bit though when he mentioned a coat, eyeing the satchel around his neck as if it held all the best things in the world. "If you're sure you don't need it.." of course she had already given one edge of the powdery blue fabric a tug so she could peer inside. A coat equaled warmth, she didn't need to e asked twice.

Petro's brown eyes widened in disbelief at the tree's statement (and seeming invincibility, but Jack damn those roots were tough). "A game!? This is a game to you!?" He glowered, his temper beginning to rise as his feet pawed at the snowy ground the way a horse preparing to stampede would. Seriously? Was this tree mocking him? Petro didn't take kindly to being mocked.
