Hayato paused and pondered as he stayed facing Aya while she waited for his answer. He looked around inside the shop and shook his head. His focus was on the mission as of right now but with an hour to wait, They should probably do something. But what should they do? He was at a loss of thought as of right now. He pondered for a second longer and shrugged his shoulders. "I'm game for what ever. Maybe you could teach me something quickly? You've been a genin much longer then me so I could use all the help you could offer. " Hayato stated as he continued to try and think of something for the hour but he was still drawing a blank.

|| OOC - Sorry I had the day off today so i used it to catch up on some study and sleep || || We can go fine the cat next posts, making stealth checks if you want || "Ok then Hayato, I'll just buy what I want here then we can go walk a little a little, an get to know one another a little more". Aya said in her happy tone as she gave a smile to Hayato before moving back and looked around the cuts of meat and the different animals, that had been made into meat, Aya was looking something that would be yummy later on and soon found something that would be good. "Can I buy these short rip, but can I get them butterflied or, what's the other one". Aya paused for a little bit, then thought to herself for a little bit, the looked up happily as it came to her. "Accordion cut, that's the one, where you cut it out into a sheet about half a cm think, please, i'll come by later to picked up sense it should take some time, but I'll pay now". She said happily the large man from before took the bit or meet Aya had picked out, grumbling something to Issy about the price, and Issy rang up how much it would cost for Aya's meat, she smiled about paid the ryo for it which was a little more then the cost that had be place, due to the extra Aya had wanted done to it, once all rang up Aya was told it would be done in half an hour, so Aya asked if she was allowed to pick it up a little later, to which Issy agree to knowing why. Aya went over to Hayato with a smiled as they left. "So Hayato, what would you like to know, I know some jutsu which might be interesting, or something else maybe?". Aya question as they walked down the road, Aya moving into the vegetable shop as they talked, she was looking around again, picking up a pre-cut vegetable pack, it contained cabbage, carrot, peppers cut into thin strips. "Hayato do you like barbecued food, I do, I am planing to cook some at the training ground later, for the lunch I mention, I am assuming your going to join me, if so what would you like vegetable wise sense you didn't want any meat". Aya holding her package of vegetables. || Lines || Meeting - 119 Mission "Runaway Cat" - 121

Hayato let the door close as he figured they might be their for a little bit longer after what Aya stated. He nodded and waited by the doors enterence as he kept an eye out for the cat just in case it walked by. Even though he was watching outside, he was also just at the right angle to keep a glancing eye on Aya, just so she couldn't sneak up on him and startle him. He could see her looking at the different meats in the display that was under the counter and ponder abit, then she did the same pondering look when she forgot what cut she was wanting. When it came time for her to get ready to pay and Issy stepping to the till, Hayato shifted his eyes back outside and scanned the general area for any signs of Neko-chan. There was nothing, which didn't suprise him because if it just showed up, this mission might not have been posted or already taken. He heard Aya start approaching him so he re-opened the door and followed Aya as they left the butcher shop. He looked over to Aya as she asked her question about what he'd like to learn. He thought about it for a second and almost right away knew what he was going to state. "Well... My main goal is to hunt from the shadows, so anything that will help me do that would be great." They continued to walk, Hayato continually shifting his eyes to look down corners and alley. It wasn't long after asking what he'd like to learn that Aya asked about lunch, him joining her, and what he'd like for lunch. He looked over and nodded as they walked. "Sure, I'll join you for lunch. But I didn't buy anything because I have food at home that I can bring, that's all." He stated as they walked and then he stopped. "If you like, you can come... but just letting you know.... I can't let you in just yet... I hope you don't get offended, but there are things inside my parents wouldn't let anyone see..."

"So your a tracker style ninja, I may not look it but i am a combat ninja, so we may make a good pair, all we need is a medic". Aya smiled a little more as she picked out the last of the vegetables she had wanted to get, and was heading toward the check out with Hayato, where she got her stuff and paid for it happily. "Nah it is still a little to early for ether of us to visit the other house, i only meet you today, so let use the training ground, it will also feel a little like camping, which should be a lot of fun". She said as they left the store, Aya holding a small bag with her vegetables in it.
After walking around for a little longer before going to the back of the butcher, and meeting with Issy again, Aya smiled a little as they meet Issy at the back ally of the shops, near the butchery. "Is it feeding time". She said looking at the cats gather in the shadows, they eyes seemed to glow from the darkness, Aya looked around and smiled a little, Issy nods to her question. "Ok you two get ready, and then I'll put on the traps, some of the cats are fine with petting, but some aren't, if the cat is here feel free to try and catch her". Issy said before heading back into the shop.

Hayato nodded as Aya made acknowledgement of his style as she then stated her skill set style. He hadn't made not of it until the very end, but Aya was picking up some veggitables for lunch. It was at that thought when aya stating something about not going to others houses for certian reasons. Again, his inter social skills were lacking, but that's what his parents made him grow up with so he was just going to continue with it even though he felt kind of idiotic about it. He mentally shook it off and continued on their walk. He wasn't sure exactly how long they'd been walking, but as soon as Aya mentioned it, he's suspitions were confermed. It was now time to go and visit Izzy and trying to capture Neko-chan. As they started to get close, Hayato stopped and paused for a second. "Aya, I'm thniking we should split up. Since you're better with social interaction then I am, I'm thinking you should speak with Izzy. I'm better in the shadows then anything else so I'm thinking I stick to that and we can use our strengths to our advanage... What do you think?"

Once Issy was gone Aya smiled and looked towards Hayato, she then smiled and looked at him. "Ok Hayato, seeing as you like being in the shadows, why don't you hide near by, I am going to sit with the food and try to pet the cats, when I get to Neko-chan I will try to pick her up, in doing so I will spoke her a little and she may try and run, if I fail to catch her, you going to go for her". Aya said to him as Issy came out with some trays of old meat, it wasn't off but it was old and not sellible, Aya didn't like the smell come from them but this was part of the mission so she would have to suck it up, this gave Hayato time to get into his hiding place. As the cat moved in on the food, Issy sat and looked at the cats, her reason for doing this was because the food went to waste anyway so why not give it to the cats, what was given to the cat was only the bits not really usable, most of the old meat was cut up and turned into stew or turned into properly sold pet food, this was the waste of waste in a sense, also Issy had wanted a cat but was never allowed one. Aya join on the other side looking at the cats, and petting some on the better looking and less likely to have flea, she then notice the cat they wait, it was just moving in a little wary, it had been chased by some newer ninja team before, that had failed to catch it, Aya was slow and pet Neko, putting on edge, but it relaxed after a bit. "Good kitty, good kitty, now let me pick you up". As Aya went to pick up Neko, it spooked and began to turn to run, Aya moved quick to try an catch Neko. || = Check = || Stealth Check Agi(x2) + Agi Stat Buff(x2) + Jutsu Stealth Buff + Item Stealth Buff vs 120

As Aya moved in to catch the cat, it avoided her, by pushing off the ground, and using it great movement ability to change its direction, to be going the other way as Aya, as the cat moved to escape, Aya extended her foot a little more and push out a little spinning a little as she preformed the 'Side Step' skill, she had learned as part of her Genin exam, and one of the most preform and honed skills Aya had learned to date, she then moved chakra to her feet and moved a little faster thanks to it and caught Neko-chan, once in her hand Aya put a little leash on the collar around its neck, then looked to where Hayato was. "Target captured, all that is left it to deliver it to the owner, and then we can say we finished a mission". Aya said happily as she held the cat in her arm, and spoke happily. || Lines/Exp || Meeting - 119 |x6| 714exp Mission "Runaway Cat" - 181 |x6| 1086exp

Hayato looked over to Aya and nodded at her acceptance in his idea. He could only do his best when he was in his element, and his element was hidden away from the world in the embrace of any shadow. He watched as Izzy came over to Aya with the tray of meat for her to give to the cats, then he looked around quickly to find the closest dark corner in the side alley. He soon found a corner within a garbage disposal unit. It smelled a little, but there was no need to enter the unit so the smell wouldn't linger on him. The smell could cover any oder he had plus he could use the shadow of the medium-large unit to keep him hidden while still being able to move quickly if Aya didn't catch Neko-chan. It wasn't long before a lot of cats started to roam around, most just out of habbit. One of them just randomly appeared behind Hayato himself and jumped onto his shoulder and off of it to the tray of bits. As Aya tried to slowly pick up the cat, it spooked and bolted away from her. It was time to move, so Hayato shifted within the shadow and carefully watched Aya as to shift opposite of her so that they would cover both sides of the cat. They both knew cats were very fast and agile so Hayato was already on the tips of his toes with his body wait shifted to move quickly. Before he did though he noticed that Aya had everything under control. He paused and waited for a second just to make sure as he kept ready. Shortly after Aya comfermed control over the situation so he walked out from where he was and looked into Aya's arms at the cat. He sighed slightly and looked at Aya, then over to Izzy and gave a small smile. "Thank you for helping us Izzy." Hayato then turned over to Aya and nodded. "Looks like it's time to get Neko-chan home..."

"Not a problem, seeya". Issy smiled a little hand handed Aya a small paper wrapped packet, and then took the now empty trays inside, giving Hayato a wink and a smile before waving goodbye and closing the backdoor to the butcher. Aya smiled and handed the packet to Hayato. "Do you mind holding that and carrying the vegetables I got before, once we drop Neko-chan off and report back to the main office we can go do some training, and barbeque some lunch". Aya happily as she smiled and then began to walk off back to the main street.
With all said and done, Aya smiled as she held Neko-chan happily, in a way as to not let the cat get away from her, after a little walk you found yourself in-front of a small house, walking up to the door Aya smiled and knock a small boy opening the door, and yelled out happily. "Neko your back". The boy took the cat from Aya as she handed the mission scroll to the mother who had turned up, once she turned up, Aya smiled once all was said and done, walked over to you, she waved to the young boy as his mother as they waved and thanked the two of you. "So what would you like to do now Hayato, training, or go and collect our pay for the mission".

Hayato smiled as Issy waved goodbye but was thrown off guard with the wink and just in general what it ment. He wasn't too sure but he made sure to keep his smile hiding the wounderment he had going on in his mind. After the door closed, his smile faded as he took the packet Aya gave him and nodded. He had no problem holding anything since he was sure Aya didn't want Neko to start trying to open the paper on her. They started to walk into a residential area, a part of town he'd never gone to really so he just followed Aya figuring that since she lived in these walls that she knew where she was going. His assumption turned out right as they reached a door that was opened by an purely estatic young boy who almost snatched the cat out of Aya's hands. Hayato just stood close to Aya and let her handle the social aspect of this part of the mission. Once the mother came to the door, the paper-work went by fast. In a few moments it was over and both Aya and Hayato were walking away, saying goodbye and your welcome to the two standing at the door. Shortly after the door closed, he heard Aya ask a question in which he already knew the answer to it. "I think we should just finish up the paperwork and then get on with the rest of our day. Sound fair?"

|| xxI was playing around with some friends the past few days sorry xx|| || xxAlso I am going to bank the lines and exp and start the count from beginning xx|| Aya smiled a little as she joined up with Hayato again an then smiled a little moving in to speak with him, after asking what he would like to do first, she nodded a little, then spoke up in her up-beat voice, as she finished waving off the people from before. "Ok then we can do the paper work, then lets head to a training ground, and make up some barbequed food for lunch, or do a little training before lunch, I am sorry to tell you though I don't know many tracking or stealth skills, sorry". Aya said as she got to the main office again, it was only a few minutes away and took almost no time to reach from the clients house, inside the office they went to the mission room, once there back Aya smiled, heading over to one of the free people at the main desk, she handed the scroll to the girl at the main disk. The girl look to be eleven maybe twelve years old, she had her dark blue hair pulled back into a pony tail, with her bands over her genin level head band, and a forest green off the shoulder shirt, with short sleeves, and black cargo pants, and a black pair of the ninja sandals. Looking around it looked like this was a class, it was one of the missions you could get form the ninja academy, where a class would do some basic activity after just graduating, so they could learn how missions were done, it was a mission most people did if they left the academy young. Aya hadn't but some of her friends from her academy days told her about it, it was meant to be very boring, the girl had undone the mission scroll and put a stamp on the mission they had done, then opened a small metal box next to her, and read something in the mission, then put 160ryo on the table in two piles of 80ryo. "Hey is your reward, 80ryo each, please have a nice day, next please". A small line had formed, Aya smiled as she girl. "You have a nice day as well". Once away a little she smiled and handed Hayato his share for the mission. "To a training ground and lunch, or would you like to do something else, if you really want we can go to your place, it wouldn't be much move out of the way then most of the training ground". Aya said looking at him as she had just left the main office. || Lines/Exp ||xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx Meeting|x-x|119x||x6||xx714exp Mission "Runaway Cat"|x-x|245x||x6||x1470exp

If the ceremony didn't make Hibiki feel some form of depression, the remains of the Last Great Shinobi War did. His mouth dropped in awe as he scanned the darkened grounds. There was no foliage, just darkened crisps of anything still left standing. It was dark and empty like an alleyway on a moonless night. The thought made him and Kuro shiver in unison.
Suddenly, Saikoro said they need to readjust their route. " But the scent was just getting stronger! If we leave the path for too long the smell might be gone!" He protested, standing up suddenly. Saikoro ignored his response as he did some sort of odd motion, throwing up a tool in the air. Hibiki and Kuro looked at each other with a look of confusion, before diving down. A sound erupted in his ears, making him bite down on his lip. Smoke began to burn through his nostrils as he tried to not lose their target's smell in the smokey stench. It could have been just his oversensitive senses, but the explosion seemed gargantuan. He then listened to his new partner in stereo as he explained the situation, staring at him in surprise. In all honesty, he was beginning to get excited over this, it felt like a million years since he's been on a mission with this much potential danger!
The Inuzuka waited a moment as he tried to let the words sink in a bit, "Will this change our current plans? Or are we just going to take a different route? I'll try to keep a lookout if anything changes!" He scrambled up suddenly to the front of the boat, stiff and alert so as to not let anything slip by him again. He was the tracker, he should have been watching out for traps...

After another hour of running, Drake slowed down, and came to a walk. He looked around, checking to see if there was anyone nearby. As before, he saw no one. Drake took a breath in. It was now several hours since he met those three ninja. He had checked many times to see if the Uchiha had followed him, only to see nobody. 'Strange,' Drake said to himself, 'One would think to have someone followed after a strange incounter like I had'. Drake shrugged and continued to walk along the path he was now on. He took a moment while walking to observe his surrounding. He noticed that this path was familiar, and he remembered that this was the path he ran next to when he first left to go to Earth. Now that he had returned, he decided to walk along it. This was his home country, and he had a feeling that nothing bad was going to happen. Drake looked up, and saw that there was no clouds in the air, and that it bright out, as the sun shined without any interference from clouds. He walked some more, and met no one along the road. Though this road lead back to the Rain/Fire border, few people walked along it. Drake looked toward the direction he was walking on, and saw the main road to the Fire village, Konoha. 'Not long now'. Once Drake reached the main road, he headed north-east, where the road went straight toward Konoha. As he walked, Drake thought about what he had to do once he arrived there. The first thing he was going to have to do is report to the Elders. He had never met them before, but back in the academy, Drake had heard that they were the Hokages advisers, and took the reports from squad leaders to debrief missions. There were three of them, thought there were two long ago. These three were the new Elders. Drake didn't know there names, but he knew where to find them: the HQ, or where the office is, of the Hokage. Once he made it back to Konoha, he was going to have to report to them about the information he recieved from Earth about the seven Swordsmen. And, also, ask for permission to head to Mist. It was possible that they could refuse his offer, but he doubted it. Once the Elders know of the whereabouts of one of the blades, though would immediatly want action. But, the real question was if they wanted the blade retrieved, or destroyed. This is one of the blades of the Seven, which was dangerous enough. As Drake thought more about this matter, he nearly tripped. Drake caught himself, planting his feet firmly so he didn't fall face first. Drake looked up, and saw that he was already near the main gate of Konoha. He was surprised that he was here already, and then he looked up. The sun was now a bit farther down than it was before, meaning it must have been an hour since he had noticed it before. 'Time flies fast when your in a hurry' Drake thought to himself. As he walked along, Drake noticed the two ninja who guard the gate were now looking toward him. Drake knew that they never met him before, and saw that they were on guard as he approached. He saw them look toward his forhead, then their guard seemed to relax a bit. 'Always vigilant...'. Drake approached the two, then stopped in front of them. "I must speak with the Elders. Are they in the HQ?" Drake asked the two shinobi. The one on the left turned his head toward his companion, then turned it back to look at Drake. "They are. Why do you need to see them?" the ninja on the left asked Drake. 'They must want to make sure that I'm really a Leaf ninja and not an imposter.'Drake took a breath, then said "I have to report to them. This is regarding a scouting mission I was just on." It was better not to tell them about the swords. They may become interested by the information and want to find it themselves, or any other number of possiblities. The ninja then told him "Very well. Go quickly then." Then turned his head around and walked with his companion back to their posts. Drake took not a minute longer, and started to head toward the HQ. Drake took no notice of the streets he ran through. He didn't want to be distracted by anything. He did stop when he ran past his home. But then continued to run. This wasn't the time to rest. After a few minutes past as Drake ran, weaving in and out of streets, he saw the building that was called HQ by the ninja and people of Konoha.

The orders came through crystal clear; their current trajectory had to be adjusted to fit the new situation. Instead of taking their current route to Whirlpool, instead they'd need to segue onto a path aiming directly at the Land of Fire. Kyu signalled the driver to halt, and as the roaring boat slowed down to a stop, the blue-faced man shuffled through some gear beneath his seat, and withdrew a map.
"Yo, what's up?" The driver asked, confused. Kyu glanced at him, then shook his head, "We're taking a new route. News just came in; if we head directly for Whirlpool, we could end up as fish food. To avoid it, we're going to take this route." Kyu lay the map on the dashboard, and pointed at their approximate location in an area between Water Country, the Land of Hot Water, and Whirlpool Country. He traced his ocean-blue finger along a path south of the main island of Whirlpool, and between the Land of Waves. His finger connected to a point just north of the Great Naruto Bridge, a zone known as the Sakura Province.
"It's a curvaceous path, but that round-about direction should take us away from the traps left for us..." Kyu picked up his finger, then touched the tip onto the Wave end of the Naruto Bridge, "No... wait... if we stop in the town at the end of Wave Country, at the far end of the Naruto Bridge..." Kyu tapped his finger on the line stretching from the puny Land of Waves to the massive Land of Fire, "I know for a fact that the bridge is a pretty popular tourist attraction, thanks to one of the Leaf's former Hokage. The tourism has gone down since the last Ninja War, however, there's bound to be remnants of tourist traps there. From that location, we can buy ourselves some new threads that will match the region, then cross the bridge as 'travelers'. That bridge connects to Sakura Province, where we'll begin our search. Any objections Ki-"
A sandaled foot slammed on the dashboard next to Kyu's map, interrupting his question to the second ninja on board, "Sounds like a kick-a** plan to me! What do we do from there?" The boat driver said with his cocky, inhuman enthusiasm. Kyu slid the map his way, "When we arrive at the port town, or wherever we stop for that matter, you'll be renting a room at a hotel until we return with the scroll and culprit. Understood?" The driver begrudgingly grabbed the map, and took back to his driving, albeit with much less enthusiasm.
Kyu turned sideways in his seat, and looked back at his teammate, "Like I was saying," Kyu said, the volume of his voice increased to match the boat's engines, "Do ya' got any objections with the plan, bro?"

Drake quickly entered the HQ, pushing threw the double doors, and walking across the tiled floor toward the receptionist's desk. As Drake approached, the reseptionist, a young girl who looked no older than Drake, sat in the chair, filing away some papers and only afterwards did she look up did she notice Drake looking at her. "How can I help you?" she asked him. "I need to see the Elders. Are they in? It's important.". The girl pulled out a small notebook, opened it about half way, then pointed her finger at the top and scrolled it down the page, stopping near the bottom. "Yes, they're here. And just out of a meeting, too. Or should be. Anyway, head up stairs to the third floor, and look for room six. If the meeting is still underway, don't enter till it's over." She told Drake, then went back to filing away papers. Drake gave her no more of his attention, then walked toward the stairs and walked up them at a fast pace. After awhile he reached a door labeled '3', so Drake walked through it, and walked down a long, circular hallway. Room six wasn't too far down, and once Drake found it, he put his hand on the handle. But, he remembered that the Elders were supposed to have a meeting, so he stopped turning the handle, then listened for any noise. He didn't here anything at first, but a moment later, he could here whispering, and the gentle movement of people sitting. After another moment passed, Drake assumed that the meeting was already over, though he did not see anyone come down the stairs he had taken. As Drake turned the handle, he also gave a quick knock on the door with his free hand, beng polite and all.
Once Drake opened the door all the way, he walked through it, then closed the door. He looked over to his right, and saw three people sitting at a rectangular wooden table, each at least two feet apart from the other. The one on Drakes left was a tall man, with thining grey hair, a small silvery beard growing on his chin, and a purple bandage covering his left eye. He wore dark, green robes, though the sleeves were rolled upto his elbows, which showed scars along the forearms. The one in the middle was a woman, seemingly in her mid-life. She had brown hair, but with streaks of silver through them. She had several earings in her ears, and slanted eyes, seeming too pierce everything with thier gaze. She wore blue robes, and the sleeves covered here hands. The one on Drakes left was different than the other two. He seemed alot younger, with full dark brown hair, and a small goatee growing under his lower lip. And, unlike the other two, he wore a shinobi headband on his forehead. He wore dark, grey robes, and the sleeves only went to his wrists, exposing his hands. Drake noticed that his left hand was covered in black bandages. After Drake saw them all, he bowed his head forward, and said "Forgive my instrusion, but it is urgent that I speak with you all. My name is-" "We know who you are, Drake Koaki" said the woman, interuppting Drake. Drake was at first surprised that they knew his name, but then discarded his reaction. They were the Elders, information was their buisness. The man on the left spoke next. "Yes. We had heard that you left the village so soon after your graduation. We had at first assumed you were given an assignment or other. But, when no reports came, we had looked into your disappearance. And the reason why you left." said the old man. Drake noticed he seemed to have a hoarsed voice, as if talking was a challenge for him."You know why I left?" Drake said to them, trying to hide the surprise in his voice. "Not the reason why, no. But, we later learned that you had heard the same rumors we had. Of the Seven Swords being found in Earth." said the man on the right, "Can we assume this is all true, Drake?" asked the young man. After a moment, Drake said it was. "Ah, well, one mystery solved. Now, tell us of your travels, and anything relating to the Seven when you were in Earth" asked the woman. So, in detail, Drake explained to them everything that happened after he left the village. His route from the village to the borders, to arriving in Earth. Drake then told them about the old man he met in Earth, who told him that it was possible that one of the blades could be in Mist. "Damn Kirigakure! It should have been obvious that the Mizukage would have at least one of the Seven's blades kept close at hand." the old man said. After a moment, he nodded, indicating to continue. Drake then told them that along the way back, he had remembered that if he didn't return to Konoha, he could be labeled missing-nin, thus it would become more dangerous to go to mist. "Wise" the old man said to Drake, but when Drake looked over, he could see it in the eyes of all of them that they knew he was holding something back. Drake refused to say anything about Sorain, or the Uchiha and his companion. They were...irrelevent to the topic. Drake then ended his tale when he arrived back at the gates of Konoha. "Now, I'm here, to explain my actions, and to ask one thing." Drake said to the three of them. "Oh?" said the woman, "And what would that be?". "To continue to Mist, and look for any information to see if there is a blade." Drake told her and the other two. Drake saw that they three then started to talk amongst themselves, excluding Drake from their conversation. 'This is it. If they deny me, then that quest is over' Drake said to himself, with a pinch of dispair in his mind. After a few minutes passed, the three then turned back to Drake. "Drake Koaki. We grant your request." the woman said to him. Drake felt a wave of relief wash over him, then stood straight again. "Don't think we didn't consider denying you. Sending a Genin to look for one of the swords is risky. But, since you are the only one who is searching at the moment, as far as we know, from Konoha, then we give you our blessing." the old man told Drake. "You will leave for Water immediatly. Take whatever food or items you need, but leave as soon as possible. You objective is to find any information on a sword in Mist. If you find one, you are to bring it back. If not, return with any other information relating to the swords to us." the woman told Drake. Then, the three stood, and walked toward a door that was hidden behind them. After the door closed, Drake turned as quickly as he could, throwing the door he came through open, then ran down the hallway toward the stairs.

Drake quickly ran down the flight of stairs he had walked up before. Once he got to the ground floor, he ran past the receptionists desk, and out the front doors. Once he got a little bit away from the HQ, he stopped, and leaned against a large wooden fence that was next to the place where he stopped. As he rested for a moment, he thought back to what just happened with the Elders. They had granted him permission to proceed with this mission. Him, a Genin of all things. Drake was sure they would have grounded him to the Village, and sent a team of ninja, or even the Corps, to retrieve the blade, or blades, from Mist. Then it dawned on Drake. Sending a team of elite shinobi into another country could have some serious consquences if they were discovered. Sending him was the most logical choice, as he would be nothing more of a traveler to the other Village. Plus, even if they discovered what Drake was up to, he was considered untouchable, as any hostile act against him would be considered an act of war, as he was a shinobi of the Leaf, and not a missing-nin. In any case, Drake decided it was done, so he had to go prepare, but where to first? Drake thought about it for a moment. The Elders wanted him to leave ASAP, but he needed to prepare. He already had all of his tools, map, etc. But, he needed to check on his home. Drake left quickly, going back into a full sprint so he wouldn't waste any time. As Drake darted back through the streets and alleys that he had gone through not more than an hour ago, he took it upon himself what the citizens were doing. He saw some people outside shops and places to eat, gathered in groups talking, or leaving for home, as it was sort of late. Drake looked up, and saw that the sun was going to set soon, and nightfall would be near. 'Of course they would want me to leave now. Night would help cover my exit, making it a bit easier on me. That, or just make me look more like a criminal by leaving like that.' Drake said to himself. Once Drake was on the right street, he saw the window that he recognised as his home. Drake ran up to it, then fell back into a walk, as he approached the stairs to go up to the second floor. Drake then went over to his door, which led into his apartment. It was awhile since he had been in this place, so when Drake unlocked it with his key, a draft of stale air escaped. Drake looked around as he passed the threshold. Nothing was missing, and everything seemed to be where he left it. As Drake took a step forward, he heard the crunch of paper under his boot. Drake looked down, and saw a single letter that someone must have passed under his door. He bent down and picked up the small bit of paper, looking for a name of who might of sent it. All he saw was the letter " S" written with sharp curves. Drake didn't know anyone with their name beginning with S, so he decided to open it, careful to see if this was some kind of trap. When Drake broke the wax seal that was on the back of the letter, he expected something to happen. Unfortunately, nothing happened, and the letter simply unfolded while Drake held it by a corner. Drake then unfolded the letter, and saw that the contents weren't all that large, only a few lines written with the same style as the S on the front. The letter said: Drake. If you are reading this, you have returned from your journey, though I doubt you are finished with your task. If you are wondering who wrote you this, you will find out soon enough. Only know that you mean a great deal to those hidden within the shadows. If you wish to know more about me, or your "friend", and you complete your task, then leave a letter with the owner of the Ramen shop near the gate. I will contact you when the best time to meet is open. Farewell, and safe travels. S. Drake read the letter over again, then once more. The mention of friend must have meant that someone knew Harbinger, or what he is. Drake paused a moment, waiting to hear some kind of reaction from him, but there was nothing but silence. Drake looked at the letter one more time, then folded it back up, then again till it was a small square and put it into his pocket. This was going to have to wait till he returned from Mist. Drake then went into his small kitchen, and opend up one of the cabinets. He saw that there was still a package of crackers in there, then he grabbed it and put it into his pack. Not the best of things, but he didn't bring any food on his last travels besides his water, and he knew he was going on a long trip. Drake then walked over to the front door, and looked back once more before exiting it, then locking it behind him. Drake then walked down the stairs. He stopped after the last step, the shouldered the pack, and broke out into a sprint, heading in the direction of the gate. As he weaved through the street, he went through a few alleys for a shortcut. Once he reached the main road, he went into a full run, going straight up to the gate, and passed the two guards he had met earlier. Not wanting to alarm them much, he waved to them. One he saw didn't care, but the other gave a meager wave back. Then Drake looked forward, running down the main road. It would be at least a few hours before he reached his next destination, so Drake pushed harder to shorten that time down a bit.
